This game is so great. The graphics are really good, the enemies are well designed, the classes are almost all powerful in their own unique way (Im talking to you curer!) and we have a couple of ideas that might make the game a bit better. 1. Maybe you could add dogs or wolves? They could help you fight, give you bonuses, and just be a cute friend to follow you around or stay at home! 2. Maybe add a way to friend people? We have had some issues with inviting people to our family because we just cant find them anymore. Someone says sure they will join your family but you forget their username or it has weird characters in it and you never find them again. Please add friending!!! 3. Out of ideas for now. Ill change our review when we have more! Thank you so so so much for creating this game! Its so amazing!

Make it balanced when you leave an area a guy was attacking us and we tried leaving and it said wait 15 seconds and then we die so we go back and attack him and he got to leave in 5 seconds that doesnt seem fair to me.
Dear creators Im we’ve been having problems with our leveling up because Im a little over at 25 and we havent got to unlock our other things we can craft so we cant do the engineer table then we cannot continue, we hope you get this and by the way the game is really great and we we’re in love with it.
We love this game grate job with the story the game needs a little bit more work with the graphics but otherwise its a really great game.
We like this game so much but it has 1 problem anything has durability even heavy armor please fix this problem if update is coming and make things infinite to not break please please please.

This game is so cool we cant stop playing it even all of the college weapons.
So when we downloaded it it was so good and we love playing it lol we stayed up until 3am playing!
This game has huge potential from being anything other than just another pay to win money pit builder. It is fun. Although items such as tools, weapons, clothing/armor break way to quickly. We dont know about you but we’ve never had a axe or knife break after 3 seconds of use. And near impossible to find certain items without buying them. Those aspects are highly disappointing and hope the creators take it into consideration. Would be more than willing to spend a few bucks here and there if the game was fair and players arent forced to spend cash or get owned everywhere you go.
But can we have hair that doesn’t turn yellow or white and choppy while all other textures are perfectly fine???
We would like to say that this game is really great. Our 12-year old son and we really enjoys playing this game, but we wish to see a couple of things. One is to be able to invite friends that are not jn your family to your camp and second is to have a location that everyone can go to have a friendly pvp, even if you are in the same family. It would be like creating a party and go to a random location to do friendly pvp with each other without interference with other players and this could help with practicing skills. Finally, we think that it would be really cool to create a party with anyone for a dungeon run. We think that it will add a lot more fun jn the game if this would be made possible. Maybe: we really like the way that you can change classes at any point and having both PVE and PVP, but maybe having an Alliance versus Horde thing like in the World of Warcraft with different races and unique skills and boosts could add a lot of fun as well. We know we will enjoy that very much. It is safe to say that we are invested in this game and will be playing it for as long as we can. Keep up the great work and we are looking forward to everything that are in store for this game.
We have been playing for a while and we think its a great game compared to other similar ones. It has a lot of variety and you can enjoy building, finding resources and just killing monsters. Still it has a downside like all of the games on apple store. We truly miss the games you could be good at without paying. We invest money just to lose everything on an outmatched PVP fight, after progressing it gets more difficult to play without investing and it takes the fun part of it away. It is very strict on having to use your money to enjoy it and this will ultimately will impact the players on just not playing it. It is better to have many players investing a little here and there than losing the players who are willing to because it is just too much. We would really love to keep playing it but after losing $20 to a random fight in less than 5 minutes really ruined the experience for us.
Frostborn is a fun game. It has its flaws as many do. The set up for pvp is beyond crazy. A complete mad house to say it gently. Players prey on players who arent pvp the most in pvp zones. At least thats how its seems to us and several others we’ve spoken with inside the game. Making a zone that holds things we all must go to find them kool. However we believe the pvp selector should eliminate other players from killing those who wish to remain nonpvp if its turns on. Then others can hurt you if only theres is turned on. Traditionally, thats how it should be. Just saying ya know. However. All in all. Fun game. Needs work in our eyes. And in others who play your game. Thank you for listening. Hope you make improvements on the game soon.
This is the best we’ve played so far of all the similar games out there. Great content, variety of difficulty, good crafting, etc. However, the only way Ill be able to continue playing this game long term is if the devs ACTUALLY LISTEN to what all of these recent reviews are asking for: more PvE-only zones, options to obtain good gear besides real money purchases, and the ability to fully disable PvP. In order to make progress in this game, you have to PvP. They dont give you a choice. We understand to some extent, but the fact that casual players could at any time lose everything to a high level group of raiders, even if theyre offline, nearly ruins it for us. Thats fine for those who want it but clearly, a large portion of us dont. Also, the store is soooo mind-blowingly expensive. For a high quality mount, youd need to spend $50+ on the game. And then if you want purple (max tier) gear after that, youll need to spend another $20. We would be willing to spend a bit more than usual on this game if the devs would make it clear that they value the input of their players and make an effort to make this game as fun as possible for as many people as possible. We hope they do, because aside from these issues, we do really enjoy the game.
We were enjoying the game. Very rpg heavy, and we like that. Didnt have as much fun when every time we go into anything that isnt the starting areas, some jerk runs up trying to kill us. Great way to kill someones desire to play the game is having some guy come out of nowhere and kill you just so he can steal your gear.
Let the green forest return to the way it was. We can’t have enough items when there are so many people on the same green map. We don’t have wood or fiber, how can we improve our house or class points to be able to compete with other players, especially those who pay to win? Thank publisher. We hope the game can be balanced so that players can have a better experience.
Its fun when youre starting out but then you realize the equipment available to you is completely useless against enemies unless you have friends with you. (Social aspect is garbage too) Essentially youre forced to buy items/equipment/season pass or whatever to be up to par with your enemies. This is especially the case in pvp, Someone can buy your instigator set and vaporize anyone under a 600 gear score. Take all your (what you thought was) good equipment and run off for good. Now you start over butt naked with nothing but your (hopefully) reserved resources. And if you had none of those, then youre REALLY starting over. Us? We just delete the game. Not for us.
Its easy to be the one thats higher level to take away from the low level players and keep them down.
The graphics and classes made the game interesting but pvp destroyed the game. The complete inability to progress once you need tomb items is just plain stupid.
We love this game! Our friends and we have a blast playing. When we first started it was very exciting it seemed like a very new game with lots of unfinished aspects to come soon. However, as time went on and with each update the developers did not update the unfinished aspects, they instead added new things in the game such as new zones(with unfinished aspects) and seasons. The season idea was great but lf course it was also filled with tons of flaws. The game is built for a person who is able to play 12 hours plus a day. The new season was practically impossible if you were to only play the game with normal play. The only way it was possible to finish is if you spent hours upon hours doing the same thing over and over and over again – which of course makes the game incredibly boring. Lastly the developers need to fix the raid match up system. We are in a family of four and for the past two months EVERY SINGLE raid we have done we have matched up with a solo player who is no longer active and the base has already been completed raided. This makes for a huge disappointment and a waste of EVEN MORE time. Not to mention the time wasted to coordinate to get every family member online and geared for a battle that never comes. This game could be amazing. The developers are throwing their great ideas into the trash with each update.
If there was a PvE only version of this game it would get 5 stars. Once PvP opens up the you lose instantly to people who pay real money, then you lose your inventory and a bunch of time wasted. Its a shame because its a well made and fun game otherwise.
Overall the game is fun, but if you have any issues with losing gear because it happens (game can be buggy) the tech support you receive is absolute garbage. We went back and forth with them for 2 weeks because they kept saying their tech support couldnt see any occurrence that we described. Completely frustrating. Why work so hard to get good gear only to be screwed over when the game takes it. *** UPDATE – we contacted support through app, as advised by developer. Still no response or solution to problem. Further proves our point or poor tech support.
Would be nice to watch a video to earn a weapon or armor since everyone cant keep spending money.
We are writing this review not because the game is bad but because we couldn’t open the game. It says that the game is compatible with our device but when we open the it it crashes. Im playing on an iPhone 6 and it wont let us open the game. Our phone is pretty old so we understand why it wouldnt work but the compatibility description says it should. We would hate for other people to get their hopes up just to be disappointed like we were. Im sure the game is great but it is annoying that it says we should be able to play yet we cant even log in.
Friends told us to get the game we downloaded was kinda excited looks fun but cant even get past the loading screen stuck at 45% for 8 hours now.
Update: submitted a support ticket to see if there was anything that could be done to for us to reclaim our items, but after waiting a week for a response we were told that our situation was not viable and that our items would not be restored. Needless to say the game is now uninstalled and will remain that way for the foreseeable future. Truly disappointed. Fun game overall but this needs to be fixed. Was wandering around in a PVP zone when we got disconnected. Was fairly upset when it happened but we figured no big deal. Reconnect back into the game only to find that Im at our home base with all of our items gone. And all that we got to compensate us was an uncommon club. Bear in mind that every single item that we had on us, was Very Epic(IV). Went back to try and claim our items and our equipment bag was empty, whether someone else claimed our stuff or it was a bug in the system, we are quite frankly furious, especially for the amount of money we put into this game. We certainly hope the Devs see this and respond because we would like an explanation.
Its just a pay to win game nothing more nothing less.

Up until just this morning we could deal with some minor bugs and issues. None of them hindering our progress in a way that makes us not want to play the game. Until now. You have more F2P and P2W people that farm Forest of Whispers because its the only area we can go to get a few supplies without other players ransacking it first and making it impossible to progress because we get little to no supplies now. This was a huge mistake and now us and our friends are at an even more of a disadvantage and are not going to be playing to game as much if at all. There was no reason to make that area a open zone. It doesnt benefit the company AT ALL!!! Until it gets switched back to closed for single or family zone, we will be keeping our review only as a 1 star.
Crashes often, multiplayers not great, unbalanced classes and strong players camp low level pvp areas to farm them. We wouldnt recommend this game to anybody.
Our account was at a level 11 and we also bought premium and came a long way at a point of playing the game it just crashed and blanked out we closed the app and restarted our phone we came back and it was still blank so we then deleted our app and re-downloaded and came back and a made sure we were on the North America server as before and then it was stuck between picking a character and the world map and nothing would work when we clicked on it so then we repeated our process and now the server says its saved as a level one please fix or give refund for the premium but would really appreciate if you could fix this because it a really fun game if can be fixed Ill take this down and give 5 star.
TL;DR: Fun but very difficult co-op game or at least it was before the unresolved bugs/issues that caused us to lose everything after weeks of play, with no response from support. While the game was already very difficult, and is heavily biased toward PtW players (Its a bit ridiculous how few areas there are to explore, and that most of them are PvP – and to get into higher-level areas requires you to risk resource-intensive gear with battle rating minimums), our wife and we still enjoyed playing and building our bases, and running from the PvPers. Unfortunately, there were server issues the other night, and now our entire base camp has reset (not even raided) to how it was at the beginning of the game overrun by monsters: our 5-6 layer base with several layers of lvl 2 walls & lvl 3 floors, over 30 chests filled with gear and resources – just disappeared over night. Our wifes game was reset to the bugged class selection screen at the beginning of the game – were in our 60s/70s with level, and district levels in the upper 40s / lower 50s. We’ve reported the bug several times and have written support to no avail. We’ve also joined the Discord but all theyve stated is they were aware of the server issues and working on it. Weve invested a substantial amount of time in this game, and were looking forward to purchasing Premium to start off Season 2 – but if these issues arent resolved, we will just leave the game – no point investing anything else if hours and days worth of work can disappear permanently at a moments notice over a bug. We would like to enjoy this game and we would like to replace this review with a better one – can support resolve these issues, or what?

We used to like this game a lot, but after recent changes we’ve seen what the developers want. Season 1 came out and it was too much of a grind, we still played it, we finished season 1 and suddenly they make it even more of a grind, you shouldve just added a cap of 8k points instead of just making points even harder to get. Im honestly starting to dislike frostborn even tho it has the potential to be something great.
We just started this game and yes being a total noob sees we can do a scout. We though why not and go for it. It says its supposed to be one skull (easy). But no! Every stage you get raided by more and more monsters to the point where you cant even get the stuff you lost. At one point we ended up spending our money, but purple gear did absolutely nothing! (Its supposed to be the best gear). How do you except people that are lvl 10 to defeat 10 monsters at once!? Its impossible! We were thinking oh Id get hit by 1-3 at a time but all the way up to 10!? Its utter nonsense! And nvm mind the fact that we were going solo! They should be aware that some noobs like to go solo. We thought this was a decent game at first. Its a hard game but its downright annoying when they say your ready for a quest when your clearly not even equipped to defend yourself. In the one skull non PvP we can defend myself pretty well with 3 on us but nvm 10.
We worked our tail off to be in the monster season hunter, we got the wolf and everything, now we were sent back to level one and we dont have our wolf or any of our stuff. We want it back.
MAKE THE GREEN ZONE FAMILY ONLY AGAIN ..

updated on 08/01/21 to add As the game has progressed and updated they have made it increasingly more difficult to find items for crafting, building, and upgrading your district. Purple gear is barely available in the game itself unless you are able to find some in a raid or be able to kill another player who is wearing purple gear and using purple weapons. The only way to truly be able to arm yourself up properly and to level up your district at a decent pace is to buy gold packs that are way over priced, then you buy a weapon pack, and if youre extremely lucky you will get a purple item. You cant even control what items you buy. They roll the dice and you get what you get even though you paid for it. The only pack that you really know what youre getting is the instigator pack and its only good for armor and a big shoulder bag. They also make sure that your gear breaks very fast and if you have a repair table it take 24 hours for one weapon to get repaired. Unless of course you spend the almost 50 gold it takes to speed it up. We would quit already if we didnt want some a-hole to end up raiding our camp and get all the stuff in worked hard for and bought with actual moeny. We loved playing the game before the update that made majority of the zones PVP. There are a total of 9 PvP zones, 5 of which can only be accessible at certain times. So, 4 that you can go in at any time of the day. There are a total of 4 non PvP zones, 1 can only be accessed once per hour and the other one you have to have 5 keys to enter. So, that leaves a measly 2 non PvP zones that you can play in at any time. The non PvP zones are also green zones; meaning you do not get good farming opportunities (such as maple, copper, or some flowers needed for crafting) nor do you encounter harder monsters (meaning it would be impossible for you to place high in a tournament unless you travel into PvP zones.) When we asked why they changed this the response was basically if you dont have family to play with then you get jack squat. And if youre unable to go into PvP zones then you end up spending a ton of money buying building materials that are all way over priced. You also dont run across purple loot (the best items in the game) hardly at all so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you want those items as well. That is until you level your district up to 96 and then you can make them, itll take forever to get there though. We’ve been playing for months now and have barely gotten our district to 81. It takes a lot of silver and influence points to level up your district, as well as materials. The silver takes a while to build up, unless of course you buy it. We loved grinding this game until they took away the hard non PvP zones and made them all PvP. Our family members arent always on when we are and we dont want to only play in the kiddie (green) zones. We do venture into the PvP zones but if we see a lot of other players we just leave because even in the solo PvP they will still band together and kill one person or they will hide in the bushes and wait till a player comes by and then they attack. There should be red, orange, and green zones for non PvP players as well and the fact that they changed it all to PvP is trash.
We play this game with a family of 4 we have had fun up until one of the last silent updates. Turning the green woodland area(Forest of whispers) into a multi zone was a very poor choice. Even if it its to counter farming of season points. People will idle in the zones after mobs have been killed and chests looted just to stop others from gaining resources. This forces players into pvp zones which they will get killed instantly for anything they have on them. Upgrading your classes Id almost impossible unless you spend money on weapon packs as they give very little mastery points. Our suggestion; turn green zones back into family only. Add a mid tier that can be chosen to enter as passive of aggressive/turn off the ability to switch in zone because regardless of your status someone can still attack you if they decide they want to. The game outshines LDoE but please listen to your playerbase. We are at a impasse of gatekeeping between high levels and p2w people that new people will quit before even progressing. Dont do a good game like this in that way.
Every time we find some equipment or good materials a high level player comes and kill us Im starting to hate this game cant the developers do something about it like players above level hundred shouldnt go to orange and green zoons.
This app will constantly entice you to buy a package, and then the next instance you run everything will be overpowered and kill you. You then sink all of your equip to try to rescue your new equip, but youll never get it back. Dont waste your time with this game.
We have played this game for well over a year now and have spent way to much money on this game. A few weeks ago we got a bug where it would not let us into the game but it showed (from our family) that we were still in the game. When we got back on the next day we were missing hundreds of hours of stuff that we were grinding. Helen emailed us and told us that they would look into it. It has been over two weeks and we have emailed them 3 times since then and have gotten no response. Will update this review when we get an update.
We love this game it is truly addictive. We just wish the ice area was a little less aggressive so u. Kuldip actually play those areas without being killed almost instantly. So we have reverted back to just the same game play over and over. But we still love the game.
