Community Insight:
We dont ever write reviews for anything but we love this game. Its peaceful and makes you use your brain but not in an overwhelming way. A little difficult to learn all of the ways to gain points but once youve got the handle on it its all up from there. Everytime we play this game o find new ways the gods can interact with each other as the visuals of the game are so pretty. Its a slight strategy game but it doesnt feel to serious. Overall we love this little game and play it all the time.
Have had a blast playing this. Was a learning curve at first but after a few games of playing and having no clue what we were doing, we figured it out and have had a great time since. Also love the artwork! Very cosy game.
We really enjoy playing this game.
Delightful game. A little bit of a learning curve, but once you get it, its a really nice experience. We love the length and level of difficulty. A perfect break.
Like the title says, Im super happy to have stumbled across this game. The art style and designs are super interesting and cohesive. Ive only been playing for a handful of days, but its been super fun to test new strategies and see big improvements in our score. Hoping that more people find the game and enjoy it as well.
Mechanics are fresh and interesting as well as art style, but you should really fix the tutorial. This many tex windows overwhelm player with information. You better give person play a simplified version at first, and add complexity further in game.
Hello! We love the game, its a lot of fun and the artwork is cool! We think it would be a good addition to add names to each of the gods, maybe display it as a banner across the top of each card. That theyre all a bit more personified and unique. Thanks for the game great work.
Heaven and Earth was an old game published in 1992 in which you would create tricks of unique cards. We love the game, but never found a version we could play on our phone. This game serves as an adequate if not better substitute to Heaven and Earth. Thank you.
We were fine to play the free version until we played it for a couple days straight and decided to commit to the measly five bucks. We love this game, we always have our ringer off cause im very sensitive to sounds especially video game noises but we looooove the sounds in this one. The haptics are satisfying and unique! Its kind of a learning curve and even after going through the tutorial a couple times we dont know that im exactly playing it right but we dont even care cause im having fun :).
Very well designed, fun card game with a solid UI! Another hit for this developer. In short, there are 6 gods and 10 cards per god, but only 6 of those 10 cards are randomly selected for each session. Some cards are great scoring cards; some are not. In a game where the sole objective is to chase a high score, you wont get a high score without the great cards but you have no control over whether they get selected and you wont know until well into your playthrough. Hence, you end up wasting much time playing sessions where you simply wont score high as you lack the great cards, and eventually you quit playing. We wish the developer would allow a player to select which set of 6 (or more) cards to play with that would keep the game interesting.
Game is fun, we had a great first 2-3 hours playing it but it lacks the depth & variety to capture our attention for much longer. We feel like Ive got the game and now its just us vs. The RNG, which with only 10 card varieties (6 at a time) got boring fast. Feels like a waste of our time to keep playing because of the lack of challenge, once the rules are understood game-to-game play feels mostly just RNG-based. Solid, very fun foundations though and Id love to see the game expanded upon in the future to add more complexity and skill-based play that will keep us coming back :).
Where do we find details about the interactions? Why didnt the snow crystals number reduce by 10 when we put a 10 snow god next to it? Another reviewer said the tutorial has too much detail we wish, where do we find the one they had? We really want to like this game, but the lack of explanatory text is frustrating.
This is another really intriguing game by Mr. Rauers. They consistently have neat and novel game mechanics, with intriguing themes and beautiful artwork. Always a joy to play.
We wish more developers would think outside the box like this one. This game is intriguing, fresh, and oddly peaceful. We love the concept of these strange gods working together to create some kind of celestial harmony, at least thats what we took from the design, the game doesnt really have any kind of lore and allows the player to make their own assumptions. This is not a deck builder, it is a pseudo card/puzzle game utilizing the same pre built deck every game. The main objective is to activate 6 crystal pillars and beat your high score. We will admit this game is not for everyone and there is a moderate learning curve that may throw some people off. Theres some nuance and critical thinking required. We adore this game! Theres something about it that makes us say just one more game, just one more game. Very satisfying stuff. We feel like this developer is on the cusp of creating something truly great, dont stop making these sort of innovative puzzle games.
Like any good card game, it takes a bit of time to get the hang of, but its worth it. Its free with zero ads, and we bought the extra cards because this is such a good game! We also play MM :).
This game is beautifully crafted. We always get bored of mobile games after a day or two, but Ive kept coming back to this over weeks and weeks. Great music, fun dynamics, interesting concept. We never even leave game or app reviews, but this takes the cake and we just hope more folks discover this game. Thanks for building this gem of a game.
We like this game. Ive gotten to the point where we understand the concept and the machanics and genuinely enjoy playing. We have purchased the extra cards and enjoy the added cards when they show up. Another thing is that ive noticed some cards dont hold true. The card that is supposed to hold the deck at a -1 refresh cost when locked is not working. We would also agree with the assessment that the cards and elements are a little bit unbalanced as some elements are abundant and some are sparse as well as card powers among elements. We think the additional cards are nice but we could definitely use more expansion and a little more clarity and continuity between the elements and their power ups.
Good game overall. Needs a PvP mode otherwise this game will get stale very quickly.
Just discovered this new game, and its awesome. In fact, its now our favorite tile-placement game Ive ever played. Its a super fun solo card game. The UI is intuitive, the design is gorgeous, and we love the color/art aesthetic. The tutorial is well done. Youll probably need to do it a couple times, and play the game a couple times, before it all clicks, but you will figure it out. Its a great balance of strategy and luck. Good for casual gamers as well as those who get into deeper strategy. We immediately bought the fair IAP to unlock everything and support the developer. Ive played several of his other games, and theyre all good, he always designs them well and keeps them updated and monetizes them fairly. We heartily support developers like this. The only thing we hope is improved is battery optimization. Even with all effects turned off and low battery setting turned on, it still uses more battery than it should and makes the phone a tad warm. Hopefully this can be improved. Its not horrible, but it uses more battery than his other games do. Still, we highly recommend this game. Its one of the best game apps Ive ever tried. Thank you developer.
We were looking for a fun puzzle-y game and this is great. Very nice character artwork. Very subjective to RNG though and we definitely often get a string of bad hands that leads to ruining our best-score-average, and it can feel punishing. We wish it was best-6-games-of-all-time. We purchased the full set of cards and found that they have less reliable synergy / more chaos than the base set. We wish there was a way to customize which cards are in your deck, as a few of them always seem to show up at the most unfortunate times or are never worth the penalty (Looking at you fire gods). However we do really enjoy the point system and we enjoy how relaxing the game is. Tutorial is front-loaded but it makes more sense after just diving into gameplay and replaying the tutorial again a little later.
The ambient music and sfx keep us sucked in to the game and the art is so pleasing to our eyes. The tutorial is a bit long but it understandable why. This is a really great game <3.
The tutorial was a little confusing but like most things you pick it up once you start playing for a little bit, but it still it was more overwhelming than we originally thought this puzzle game would be when we saw the tutorial. We love the ambiance and art style and its a very engaging game that keeps us coming back for more to beat our previous high score. We like the concept that your high score is an average of multiple games, it sad though because our true highest score got pushed out and we havent been able to reach it since. The only thing we would say is that the elements are not really very balanced and some card effects are slightly more tedious and seem as though it makes no since as to why anyone would choose them. Im having a lot of fun though.
In all honesty, we downloaded because the concept and the art are really good. We got halfway thru the tutorial and uninstalled. This seems like a really great game for people who want to memorize complex rules and relationships, but its very much not a game you can play while youre doing anything else. Even just the tutorial required our full attention and that was railroaded harder than the Industrial Revolution. Would recommend to anyone who wants a game to really sit down and commit time to learn and to master.
Ive played all your games and got hooked to each of them. Im very into solo card games and this one, this one was something Ive been waiting for. Ive played for 2 hours on release and love every bit of it. Keep up the great work and cannot wait to see what you have planned for the future of this game! Thank you all.
