Great game that the developers were clearly passionate about. Theres a lot of attention to detail that keeps the game entertaining.

We absolutely love the game the puzzle is so addicting.

Brilliant game and absolutely recommended. The animations and sound design are genius, but the animations are too slow imo which gets annoying quickly.

Fun little game thats different from the rest. It stands out. We can see that it can be frustrating and will not be for everyone as some will loose patience with it. If you stick with it it can be a enjoyable ride and a nice reprieve from the norm.

The game would be a 5 star easily. Its fun, there are unlockable things and its a nice story. The only reason we made it 4 stars is because to get all the unlockables you must pay money. We dont want to pay money, but you can unlock a lot without the money.

The game is okay. We eventually realized that its kind of like Spider Solitaire. Board is random. There is some strategy but you can easily get stuck in a situation where the only option is to use your moves to die and restart. The daily games can be fun but they suffer even more from the same problem. If half of the squares are reinforcements then there doesnt seem like much to do.

It should reset every time a new level comes.

Im completely down with purchasing the game and giving it 5 stars if you can turn stamina off. Its a horribly stupid mechanic with the way it was implemented. Even if you always go for the cheese to replenish stamina it only gives you enough for a few more moves. The whole thing feels like a time/pay wall tactic to purchase the game which is fine, ppl need to get paid. If, however, the stamina works the same way after purchase then its just a really bad design decision that kills what is otherwise a very special game.

We live the art and the concept, but the game beats you up too quickly and too repetitively. Developer needs to make the first rounds easier to help a player build confidence. The daily games show that there are a ton of other mechanics in the game, but starters will never get to them because if the absolute butt kicking received from the first time you open it. We actually downloaded it because of the tutorial we were able to play in an Apple Store. That was not offered to us in the actual download and we cannot for the life of us understand why.

Really fun gameplay until the broken stamina mechanic kicks in and inevitably kills you on the 2nd or 3rd level.

This is a great game that we enjoy playing. Its just we cant pay for the full game so Im kind of struggling. But we do understand why so Im not mad. All in all, a wonderful game that we think should be even more popular, great job.

On its surface, this is a simple game. The basic mechanics are simple to grasp, and while there are a healthy number of unlocks, even in the free version, they do not complicate the mechanics, they just add interesting depth to them. Combine this with the fact that you are not inundated with ADs or have to deal with a variety of mechanics specifically designed to push you to micro transactions, we feel like it would be criminal not to recommend this game.

The game is great s of yet. Still in begining stages of it but we like the game. And look forward to completing it. Lots of fun.

We used to love this game and had almost made it all the way through. Then there was an update which removed all the items we had unlocked. Okay, finejust gives us a reason to play more. However, with the new items-unlocked-by-collecting-gears, theres a major problem because you can only collect up to 25 gears and some items cost more than the 25 gear max. Please fix this and Ill make it 5 stars. Right now, Im just disappointed.

We loved this game until the most recent update. We paid for the full game bcuz its the only way to get the daily, then we discovered that the regular Play mode has become nearly impossible to get past level 5, and requires acquisition of weapons through collecting of gears. Its no longer fun, and we’ve paid for it. :-(

There is no option to save your progress. You can provide a limited no of moves in each stage like in Candy Crush. Playing levels repeatedly makes it frustrating & monotonous.

This was a great game, we loved to play it in our free time, but the devs changed it, for no reason, to make it a pay to win. Before it was like 60 starting stamina and 30 for cheese, with all the items for free making it a lot more strategic and you had to get through 15 levels with cheese appearing every 3 levels. Now they made it 30 stamina, with cheese giving you only 5 stamina, and you only get a sword, shield, and bow & arrow, and you cant even get half the items through this new gear thing they added. This game was so much fun and we loved it but now its just a crappy game that they made into a cheap cash grab.

Great graphics, quick directions, and easy to play. Definitely worth a try.

Very similar looking and feeling to Krumits Tale, very unique and fun as well, great job.

The challenges are the best part! Keep at the game until you get the hang of it. Its worth it!

We dont hate it. Its well done. That said, we played it for a day and got bored. Its the opposite of those addictive games you cant stop playing. You have to move the mouse around with various weapons to get rid of robots to get the key? That sounds better than lining up three of a color etc., but it ends up just being tedious.

We love all the little elements to the puzzle. We love the way that when you progress it breaks a bit of Automatron! The gameplay is smooth, simple, sharp. Well done. We realize we have a favorite mobile company cause we love your games as well.

We love this game!! We feel that the mark of a great game is its fun to play as you learn and get better, fun to play when youre good enough to beat it and fun to keep playing again and again! Just ALWAYS get the CHEESE!!

Oh, Maze Machina! You are wonderful, creative, enjoyable, and have made us want to pour gasoline on our phone, light it on fire, throw it into the Grand Canyon, retrieve it, only to play a few more games and then do it all over again. In all seriousness, the brutality of the game (getting through level 15) is a challenge. But its a worthy challenge, and we’ve discovered that it can be done. (Current record: 220 moves). For now, there are four additional modes for us to beat. But just getting through level 15 on Normal mode was enough entertainment for the cost of the app. All in all, its a brilliant puzzle game, and we hope real, non-freemium apps such as this continue to be available for a long, long time.

We’ve followed Tiny Touch Tales ever since Penny Arcade recommended Card Crawl. Like all their games, Maze Machina is addictive, highly polished and beautiful. 5 stars, buy the rest too!

Every game this developer and his team have made are creative, adaptably challenging, original, endlessly entertaining, and visually stunning!

Some reviews say this game is too random which isnt fair at all. They are confusing random with complex but totally predictable chain reactions (with 10% randomness as tiles change). We view it more as chess on steroids with a bit of luck based on what item is drawn once the previous one is used. Challenge mode is really what has us addicted. It basically allows up to 10 players to compete against each other. Once the challenge is complete players are ranked based on: 1) how many rooms they completed 2) how many turns it took (tiebreaker 1) 3) how long it took (tiebreaker 2) These results then adjust the global, ELO based, rankings. Im absolutely addicted! P.S. To Daynger, you are a beast but Im slowing coming for that #1 spot.

We really love this game but it takes time to learn.

Clever but reaches a point where after weeks of playing we cant get past level 10 or 11 of 15. (Developers, more cheese? One or two less enemies?). It seems unbeatable so maybe its fun its course for us. Clever concept though.

This game is good and has some room for improvement. The developer has been putting out decent games for a while and this one doesnt disappoint for the cost. There are some balancing issues with the primary game mode and we doubt its actually winnable given that the stamina mechanic is random and destroyed by the enemies. There seems to be some bugs in draft mode where the bonuses arent applied as their descriptions read.

Tiny touch tales is the best mobile game developer, and frankly one of the best game developers out there. So our two stars are possibly more informed by disappointment than the game actually being bad. The core ideas at play are really great but they are executed poorly. In the game all of your weapons are decided by your position on the board. Every tile gives you a weapon. The only thing is, the tiles are entirely random. This causes everything to be confusing (not challenging). There are so many different weapons to learn that it become impossible to properly strategize. Rather than a couple of mechanics that can be combined in many ways, you get hundreds of mechanics that dont really combine at all. Some of the weapon animations are a little slow for our taste as well. We really like the concept of the game but we just think the core gameplay needs to be tweaked. Maybe make it so that only certain weapons show up on certain levels. Maybe scrap the randomizer and make each stage by hand. The game has great ideas, and we can tell the creator worked hard on this one, but It just needs to be a little more balanced.

We love this mobile developer and have bought every game that theyve put out there and loved them all. Maze Machina is actually very fun at first but once you beat it theres nothing that happens which makes winning feel like a waste of time. We think if this game had some sort of objective or unlockable it would be a much better game. Something like in card crawl where you could unlock different dealers or heroes, or in card thief where different enemies start showing up as you progress. Maze Machina is just repeating the same thing over and over again; get the key, collect the cheese if its there, work your way around the 2 enemy types that are basically the same, go to the golden tile, repeat. Theres no variety whatsoever. We wish we could rate this higher but it just feels like its missing so much.

The idea is amazing but the randomness of the tiles and their actions is disappointing. We cant count the number of levels where it was impossible to get the cheese or it was immediately destroyed. Or when im close to running out of stamina and the tile im trying to move from keeps generating ice or a hook so we cant actually move. And instances where the curse can destroy the key is just weird.

Too many weapons. You just end up clicking around hoping to get the key, with no real strategy, even after doing the tutorial. The icon with the checkbox or x was never explained. Sometimes you die by a robot and you have no idea why. Sometimes the robots attack and sometimes they don’t. Gave up on this after a day. Go get sinkr2 for a real thinking game.

From the second the tutorial started we were hooked. What a well thought out, clever, highly polished game. You can tell the developers put everything into this one. The Card Thief was amazing, but honestly this one is way better. GREAT JOB DEVS, love the game! To anyone on the fence, buy this game, you won’t regret it. It’s got a great art style, amazing mechanics, great music, and really makes you think about your moves! Game design at its finest.

You may see a simple puzzle game but we see a deep challenge that pushes the right buttons to make us want to play. One. More. Time.

A perfect little mechanical gem of a game.

Another great game by Tinytouchtales! They make the best mobile games. Fun, challenging, deep gameplay and great artwork. Overall great experience. Thanks!

Overall fun but some wonky mechanics from time to time.

Hard to master. The tutorial does a very good job explaining the different abilities you can use. Always being able to touch a tile and have an explanation of the ability is a great help. Rougelikes BY DESIGN are supposed to be difficult. Theyre designed for strategic play and the RNG factor is just the nature of the games. Know what youre getting into. Would be nice to have the machines being capable of carrying the cheese as they do the keys. Funny that you become emotionally invested in the mouse Overall, one of the best first release, easy play apps we’ve seen in a very long time. Definitely looking forward to mastering the different play options. Well done!

Looks to build on concept of threes but forgets what made threes fun. Way too many icons, with no simple way to review what they mean (but for a slog of a tutorial), and hardly any strategy to implement given icons randomly flip on tiles. Loved the developers prior games, however.

Full of regrets, such boring and stupid game. We wish we didnt spend two bucks.

This is one of the best designed games we’ve ever played. We liked Threes but got bored with numbers. Imbroglio was confusing and frustrating to us. This game combines the best elements of both. The entire play experience is incredible. And with different modes, its accessible for casual players but challenging for experienced ones. Thank you for thinking of different kinds of players! Im a casual gamer and this is perfect for us! This developer makes great games, and this may be our new favorite of his. And with such a fair premium price and no IAPs, this is a great buy. And he always keeps his games updated so they function well over time. Thank you for a great game, developer! We need more developers like this out there. This is honestly one of our favorite gaming experiences.

We got top 10 in a daily. Now we must push to be #1!
