Absolute Masterpiece of a game! Everyone should play it! Its such a gem! Please make a sequel or bring it to more newer consoles!
In our opinion we love the ghost trick part and the story Im thinking of buying the full game because it is really good for the first two chapters and also has a lot of content for it too this is our first review on a game in the App Store and that shows that it is at least a good puzzle game and story. (Excuse our terrible grammar)
This game is truly amazing, truly a hidden gem of a game. The Writing and the animation. Worth our money for in the in app purchase. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a game that kills time and has a phenomenal story.
A little background on the games we like: they all have story and a mystery to solve. This is one of the best games ever from the graphics, to the difficult puzzles, to the whole thought and creativity process! 10/10 recommended to all our friends.
This game is honestly one of our favorite if not our favorite game of all time. The story line is extremely interesting and well written and characters are extremely memorable and great. The game despite originally being for the DS works incredibly well for a mobile phone game and you will find yourself investing hours into this game if you truly enjoy it. We loved this game so much we finished this 12+ hour adventure in less then a week it was that great! Well worth the 10 dollars. Im assuming capcom fixed all the bugs as we’ve came across none. Our only complaint of this game is 3 things. 1. Theres no sequel 2. You can solve mysteries in one way only making the adventure feel slightly linear however the writers and creators of this game are extremely creative 3. The game is extremely is text heavy wish some voice acting or something couldve been added to this game.
It was such a shame this game got kicked to the side, from what we’ve heard this game was a great creative outlet for the Ace Attorney crew. And everything about this game is so good. So Capcom god dammit get this game at least on PC and Switch.
We thought there was a bug at first in chapter 14 but we were really just an idiot and forgot that we could spin the globe climber again.
We dont recall exactly how we came across this game, but we pretty much exclusively play puzzler type games and we must say that this is one of the best ones out there. Yes, its a finite game and storyline, which some might balk at due to the price, but its still worth it in our opinion. The mechanics and ingenuity of this game are incredible and it really makes your brain work outside of the box in strange and delightful ways. Plus the story is good. Its hard for a game to tick all the boxesgame play, story, mechanics, etc. But Ghost Trick meets and surpasses these in extraordinary ways. If they ever made another game like this, Id buy it in a heartbeat.
This is a phenomenal game created by the same people who made Ace Attorney. Some of the scenes were a bit tricky so we had to use walkthroughs to get through them, but otherwise, this is such an amazing game with a very convoluted and fantastic story. We cant give it a higher rating.
We remember being in junior high, 12years or 13years old, and somehow stumbling upon this game and being totally engrossed by it. We broke our phone and had totally forgot the name of the game and we have quite literally been haunted by never having completed it. Now Im an adult with a salary and a 401(k), and we were thinking one night about this game that we played once when we were a kid over a decade ago and how it was really complex and interactive and engaging and had a really clever and unique premise, and we started searching on google one last time to see if we could find it and somehow or anotherAfter all these years we found it!!!! This GEM. Not only the nostalgia we felt in the first couple chapters, but coming to find out that there were almost 15 more brilliant plot driven chapters for us to play!!!???? Our jaw was on the floor. We bought the whole game, youd be hard pressed to find anything thats better out there. There is clearly so much care that went into the story and the world. The colors and design of the world and characters and we just cant explain how absolutely clever the play of the game is too, its so original and fun and really captivating. We apparently had a really good taste for things when we were a kid we are going to be actively going out of our way to recommend this game to people, its just so perfect. We just finished the last chapter and when we tell you it had us in tears it had us in TEARS. We dont want to spoil it but OHHHH MY GOD just.. Wow. To the character development, the twists and turns, the reveal, the increasingly challenging play.. AHHHH. The game is perfect, it really is. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project its been a wild ride thats taken us 10years to complete which is a little poetic if you ask a certain house pet. <3.

We bought this game maybe 10 years ago and have re-downloaded and re-played it many times. You start out having died but have no memory of who you are. You have the ability to go back in time and manipulate objects. The storyline is intriguing and keeps you involved till the very end. The gameplay is a lot of fun figuring what object does what and the timing of when to do it. The writing is witty and funny. It’s paid to unlock all chapters but definitely worth it. We keep coming back to this game when we forget the details to enjoy it all over again.
Just got into this randomly this Saturday morning and wow, we spent our whole day playing. The story really does pull you in. It has the hallmark of those truly classic mystery games from the DS era – a simple mechanic, that get repeated, doubled, layered, and subverted. The plot was really engaging and the characters are complicated, the stakes serious, but it never lacks in goofy moments and silly jokes. Played on a iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 16, no problems with the port!
Really fun mechanics, smooth on ios, intriguing writing with a healthy balance of humor and a serious story. Also, our personal favorite sidekick in any game we’ve played. All around, the game was great and we wish it was longer. We’ve never recommended a game to a friend before, but this makes a first.
We’ve played it before and its a great game, it just gets stuck on the rewind screen every single time Im in the tutorial. So its basically a broken demo at this point. Edit: Fixed in recent update, its a great game.
Honestly we love this game but the cutscenes kinda just drag on too long kinda eliminating any gameplay time. But beside the waiting time 9.5/10 we love this game.
Great characters, enthralling story, fun puzzle solving. The port is fantastic. We played it for hours without much hit to our battery level. One of the best games on iOS. The major flaw is that you cant share your purchase with family as it has to be done with an in-app purchase. So we need to dish out another $10 to share it. Lame.
This is a really interesting concept and we like the game play, but the text never ends. It felt like we were mostly just reading a story. The instructions couldve been explained in half the time and a lot of the needless back and forth ultimately made us delete it. It would be better to cut back on the banter or give a skip option.
We liked this game back on our old iphone and purchased all the chapters in 2013. Now we’ve moved back to iphone after many years and our purchases are not recognized. We have confirmation emails from iTunes on our purchases. Its a great game other than that.
This seems like a really fun mechanic for a game but the outdated and problematic misogyny thats built into the dialog makes it really impossible to enjoy this game in 2022.
This game is an absolute hidden gem! Tons of little twists everywhere, tricky puzzles, unique game mechanics, tons of interesting memorable characters designs and fun dialogue, an engaging and unique story, a delightfully jazzy soundtrack, and nice stylized graphics to name a few of this game’s virtues! The story can be a little confusing later on but it still manages to be suspenseful, mysterious, fun, intriguing, and immersive! An absolute must have game!!!
We love this gave so much and ever since we played it the first time when we were around 10, we’ve been hoping for a game in the same style. Seriously this is one of our favorite IOS games (maybe of all games) and we want another game like this! Congrats and thank you to the makers, its a great game.
This is our favorite Puzzle-story game, and one of the best games we ever played ever. That says a lot seeing as how we’ve played Half-Life 2, Portal 2, God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Bloodborne, and Metal Gear Solid, and much more. Though this is on the more expensive side for a ported game on the AppStore, the experience justified the price. Just flat out amazing gameplay, amazing characters, amazing music, amazing story. Just 10/10, simple as that.

This game has an incredibly engaging story, which is the main draw of the game. The gameplay mechanics are unique, but its the story that really sells it! We strongly recommend this game to anyone wanting to enjoy an immersive, exciting story. The user interface isnt perfect, it looks like its a letterboxed form of a game ported from some other game system, but that doesnt detract much from the enjoyment of the story for long. Definitely worth a try, especially with the 2 free chapters, even though it doesnt look great at first. Just try it, youll be glad you did!
Unique gameplay with very interesting puzzles, great art style, and lovable characters. The soundtrack is an absolute banger and the story will rope you in. This game was made by Shu Takumi, who also created the Ace Attorney trilogy, so if you enjoyed those games you will surely love this one too. Its worth every dollar, please do yourself a favor and play this game!

Capcom is known for its Ace Attorney series as far as DS games go. This is another DS game they made, but sadly was released near the end of the consoles life cycle (sorta ironic.) Thankfully it was revived here on the App Store. This game is amazing. Fun puzzles and a wonderful plot intertwined in one package. Buy the whole thing if possible – this is one adventure you cant miss.
Game flow, sound/music, & dialogue has a Super Nintendo game vibealmost RPG in nature in how you can examine lots of objects & talk to lots of characters-a game style we really enjoy. If you dont like lots of plot, character development & detail, then you will not like this game. The puzzles are delightful, wether easy or hard, they are pretty intuitive if youre right brained & creatively minded. We had no real major difficulty with any; it was just hard enough to be fun. Very clever game structure, plot, unique non-cookie cutter charactersgood enough to be made into a comic or cute show. They just dont make unique games like this like they used toreally worth every penny. Hope they make more!

First off This game isnt really free if you want to play ALL of it. Its actually 9.99. However, the first free chapter of it is pretty long for a demo. Took us an hour or so to complete we say the game is totally worth the money If you werent broke like us :)) 5/5 !
We would like the gameplay to fill more of the screen on the iPhone 12 and an option to remove the green ghost background.
We played through the entirety of Ghost Trick a few years ago, and we must say its a wonderful game; unfortunately there is no sequel to continue the series, which is disappointing. After having an urge to Re-play the game, we downloaded it again only to find that the chapters we had bought were not available. In essence, if we want to replay the game again, we will have to re-purchase the episodes. Even so, the game is wonderful enough that we can easily justify a second purchase of the game. However, we hope that the bug is fixed for those who are in the same situation as us, but cannot afford a second purchase.
Hands down this is one of the best games we’ve played in a while. Although it has minor setbacks, and the beginning isnt as good as the end, it is still a very good game that we would recommend to anyone who likes puzzles games or games involving a rich storyline. While we wish a sequel was made, we dont think that will happen anytime soon.

The games story got us so good just now that we couldnt stop crying through the darn thing. And the game also has super fun gameplay to boot with interesting character design and visual style to round it out. We only wish we had gotten to play the original DS version when it first came out years ago because the game is to amazing to have wait this long. This game is a gem. We love the challenge and the replay ability, but there are some flaws. You have to buy more chapters. Sure, theyre cheap, but we dont want to spend money on more chapters. A pro to the problem is that you can purchase all chapters for about 9.99 or 10$. We find this game fascinating. The original idea is super creative. We hope this game gets a sequel! ( ” )
Dont research it, just download it and buy all the chapters and play it. We easily had 30 hours in this game. Its well worth it. And the price on the DS version has skyrocketed.
We thoroughly enjoyed this game and would like to keep playing it but itll be kinda hard its too far behind on software.
Definitely gonna buy the rest of the chapters in the future. The whole time we were playing we whispered to myself, Ohhhhh, thats so cool. You can solve puzzles quickly IF you pay attention to the clues (which we didnt realize at first). We also love the designs and personalities of each character.
