Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

In all honest we love this game. We have been playing it for more than 100 days straight and we loved it we made it pretty far got max level all and all max level dolls and most of the dolls, but we cant have the game anymore it has gotten to large for us to compromise anymore space. It is a shame it is a wonderful game only to be limited by a larger than usual update which prevents us from playing it ever again because we cant squeeze another gigabyte out for it.

Im having fun so far – will update if it changes.

Ive left plenty of in game reviews through surveys and never had much to say other than outfits and characters being a big profit point, at least from us! The only thing we can say now after playing through the entirety of the available story is bringing this to console would be huge. Most other games like this are currently struggling on console but we feel youd pick up a lot of new loyal players from those games already on console and those who play on mobile. Especially if the ui doesnt change too much and some features from the mobile game are brought to the consoles as well. An example and idea being the dorm room setting for the echo, gaining the option to be set as the live background on console.

We love the collab you guys are doing with CODM keep up the good work.

There was a bunch of drama surrounding new character skins with interactions getting a gacha that would require some large spend. Ignore all that nonsense, skins are not required to play the game. The gameplay is fun and the story is good. There is a fairly generous amount gacha currency allotted for dailies if you are a free to play. The story and event content are friendly to those that may be more casual and not out of reach if you dont have a full roster of the best, maxed out characters. If things get tough you can borrow a support from a friend to help you through.

Very clearly alot of care and attention has been put into this, it gives a story very packed with detail and lots of content around that.

We played 50 hrs on pc client and iOS combined and loved the game play.story is good until midway but pickups with the side characters.

GFL turned us into a strategy game enjoyer.

The game is fine and we like it a lot but why are you guys so stingy with the intelligence puzzles 240 isnt enough to do anything important in the game for where Im currently at. It basically forces you to spend collapse pieces that could be saving if you want to play the game for more than 20 minutes. Im not saying take out the intelligence puzzles though we dont know why youre basically telling us how long we can play. But whenever we level up the max capacity of intelligence puzzles would also increase as well. We dont know if it can be changed but this is really making us not want to play.

The game itself is unique and one of a kind. Combat is fine. Story is decent, and so on? The problem is the blatant ignoring of the main game story? We have never played any game that hasnt updated its main story in a ton of months. Because of this, we have lost interest in the game overall due to the clear lack of care and attention for the direction of the story. Events can only go so far, try paying attention to the important things for once.

Hitting pity since launch every time is ridiculous.

The game at its core is really good , the battles , the girls , interface all together would make this game a five star except there is a huge crashing issue in the game that takes you out of all of it constantly. The further we progressed the worse it got to the point we have had a mission we cant finish and had to abandon it . Ruined our experience bitterly.

We really like this game, but its major problem is the amount of money it demands you pay just to level or get character and Ive played long enough to know that thats not gonna change, thank you it was fun.

We love GFL2 but we were curious about the status regarding the story? Is the campaign finished or are more chapters in the works right now? If its the latter, could we have a guesstimate on how many campaign chapters there will be total? If not, thats fine, we still enjoy the game but would love to see more for the story campaign soon.

We played Arknight and gacha game for a long time so this is nothing new but gimmick is fun enough.

We would not spend money on this game they will add a skin gacha like nikke for HK416 where takes not 60$ but 200$ get the skin.

Started off as a tactical game with somewhat interesting mechanics and devolved to a skin gacha requiring up to $200 for a skin. Do not waste your money on this greedy company.

Good art, solid localization, and a decent gameplay loop are wasted on this dreadful gacha. -banner rates are abysmal. Hope you like have 9 blues and a purp for 7 ten pulls in a row. -gacha shop doesnt let you buy banner characters with materials from duplicates. -new characters not being added to the permanent banner makes standard recruitment permits feel worthless, but the game doles them out like theyre a precious resource. Those are the games most grievous sins imo, but there are numerous other annoyances which have driven us away from the game. -so many rewards to claim. Too many pages to navigate, and reward popups that take longer than they should all for rewards that are largely insignificant. -calibrating gear also suffers from requiring too many inputs for how much of it youll be doing -oath rings cant be bought with in-game currency like in the prequel, real money only.

If the pc version is able to support 90 and 120 fps, then phones should eventually get the support as well. Other than that, we love this game as someone who hasn't played the first game.

Been so hype about the game ever since the release in China. Def was not disappointed. At first the stages seem simple but once you get into the later stages and challenges, you def require a bit of strategy to go along. And ofcthe waifus are just fantastic. Only complaint we would have is it takes too long in between to get a new Doll.

This is our favorite gacha game right now. And Ive played 30+ over the past decade. One of the major things that many people look over is how so crisply optimized the game is. It rarely crashes, even on older devices. It takes less than 20 seconds to get into the game from clicking the app. Insane how well this game runs given the intensity of the graphics. The devs are super generous, and Ive gotten almost everything Ive wanted on the gacha, which allows us to use that cash to buy the amazing outfits the devs designed. Huge fan of how many costumes they release on units. This is part of the reason we left Hoyo games, the outfits feel like an afterthought there. But here, you can feel how passionate the devs are about creating fun stuff for the characters. We mean, look at the weapon accessories. They made everything from BO2 Wonder Weapon inspired skins to a freaking banana. Its amazing. Main story is incredible and the quality of voice acting is really good. If you like darker stories with a touch of silliness, then look no further. You can just feel the passion the devs put into this game. They really love it.

We love the characters the story is great and its pretty fun would definitely recommend to people looking for a good game.

We rated your app 5 stars.. We BETTER not fail this next 50/50.

We love guns. We love 2D women. They made the 2D women 3D. It doesnt get any better than this. The animations are phenomenal, gameplay is actually great too. Im. It too invested in the story, but Im also not very far along on the game. 10/10.

Now they are ruining it by making you pay $250 to gamble for a single character skin. Avoid this game if you value your time, money, and self.

Why is this game so big? We cant even install it on a 32GB iPad after we clean wiped it. Cant you have better asset management.

Continua assim sempre melhorando o jogo.

Love everything about this game. Hoping to see more skins for each dolls anytime soon. Thanks.

This gacha has a 50/50 on character banners. You have been warned. Get rid of the 50/50. Absolutely criminal.

We love the game honestly it reminds us of xcom we would just ask for more barefoot characters and toenail polish by each girls personality or that would just fit theyre outfit, small little extra cosmetics, just adding to the flair of the game.making it even more unique then it already is. Maybe hats or new shoes new hairstyles.

Devs dont overcharge and are pretty generous with events/ rewards.

Add American voices youll make lots of money.

Really good app, just wish it didnt take so much storage.

The game is great, graphics, mechanics, characters, weapons and story as well. Very similar to XCOM, which is our favorite game. However, minus two stars for awfully long and excruciating dialogs. We are interested in a story, we want to learn a story, but it is not an audiobook, it is an action game. Endless dialogues are torturous, and after a dozen of replicas we are losing interest in a story and only want the dialogue to end so we can play further. Yes, we can hit skip, but then we will not learn the story. Developers, please cut the dialogues to 4 replicas max. Check the XCOM – it also has an intense rich story, but there is no dialogue there that is longer than 4-5 phrases, and it is mostly animated. Please relate to this comment seriously if you really care about loyal players.

Oh Idc about the anime girls im here to gamble.

Love this game ever since we downloaded it best game by far.

Im a big fan of tactical RPG games like fire emblem, valkyria chronicles, and this game seemed right up our alley. Boy was we right, the gameplay is absurdly fun. You deploy four girls onto the field and move them on a tile grid, selecting their actions and which enemies you want to target. The story was amazing, there were a lot of references though to the first game that we didnt get because we never played it, but we still could follow the current story easily. There is a lot of content to the game, and its decently friendly to people who dont spend. A problem we had though was locking covenant rings behind a paywall. It felt like we would be missing content and power for the pvp mode. Of course the characters are absolutely great, and Groza especially was a standout. Overall, we highly recommend this game to any tactical RPG fan.

Its a fun game so far but helpful tip to older iPhone users say lower then a se model your game will crash nonstop to the point its unplayable we speak from experience our old iPhone 8 couldnt handle the game so if you want to play the best you use iPhone SE and up models.

We played this game from yesterday and oh boy, we forgot how many hours we played. Maybe 5-4 hours? We can barely remember! That game is great! Graphics? Top Notch. Story writing? Nailed it. Cutscenes? Absolute Cinema! Characters? Deserves our love (NOT IN A QUESTIONABLE WAY) gacha poll? We dont know we dont pull yet. Overall experience ALMOST 10. 9.5/10.

Been enjoying this game so far. The costumes, characters, gameplay, cutscenes, & story, are amazing. The jiggle effect & revealing outfits are also what drew us in to play this game. Message for the developers, please dont censor this game. So much potential.

Play for yourself and see, the gameplay mechanics are very fun, also very beautiful character designs with some details that will spark your interest.

Its been years since Ive seen such a great Gatcha game. Keep it up, and we just might put in some money.

Great game. No complaints here and the Japanese voices are great to listen to.

Lots of weapons characters and an interesting story and battle style.

Since playing this game we realized that every gacha game NEEDS a dorm system like GF2 or better.

The girls frontline story is one of the best ive read and experienced. We wont say much more then this but its one of the best Ive read of all time.

Awesome turn based gun/sword game we would recommend getting this.

Awesome game!! Gameplay is great. Graphics are fantastic. Story is a little meh, but nothing to complain about and nothing that cant be improved over time. Very easy to accumulate in-game currency and pull mats. Only thing (so far) that we think is kinda bogus is how expensive the character outfits are. Literally $10-$20 just for an outfit is a little outrageous. $5 is a solid price for a character skin in a game like this. Anything over $5 is just downright greedy. And it would be nice if they would add english voice acting. We certainly dont mind Japanese VA but if youre gunna release your game to the global population, might wana have English in there too. Overall though we give the game 8.7/10. Definitely worth playing.

This is one of the most f2p friendly gacha games Ive ever played.

We have only played for a couple days, but we are really enjoying this game! The characters are really interesting and the gun options are pretty epic. The tactical combat gives X-Com vibes and we love it.
