Just started playing tonight so far we really like this game.
Takes us back – still got it !!
We agree with every bad review. This game is stacked, and we wont spend any of our money buying chips. If you get so many bad reviews, why dont you fix the game? If you think that theres nothing wrong with the game, then you all are a bunch of amateurs with no ambition to turn this into what could be a stellar game.
We love Gin Rummy but we had to delete this app. When we first started to play we would win almost every hand and ridiculously quickly. Like if we need 3 cards, the opposing player will discard those 3 cards. However once you build up a lot of chips, you then start to lose in the very same way you were once winning. Your opponent gets gin in like 3 moves. We know the staff keeps saying the cards are dealt randomly but we dont believe it is and Im not going to spend a dime to buy more chips. So deleted it from our phone.
We like when a plane comes too feather okay .
The amount of free coins given every four hours doesnt cover enough for a single game. If youre on a losing streak and forget to check in one day then you will not be able to play the game without spending money.
Do not believe a word the developers say. This game is sooooooo obviously rigged. We consider myself a vey good gin player. In fact we amassed 70k tokens very quickly in this game. However, since hitting that 70k mark we have lost every single game. Also, every opponent is now computer generated. Havent had a real opponent for a long long time. If, as the developers say, all opponents are real, then why won’t they incorporate a chat feature? BECAUSE THEY ARE LYING!!
The game is not loading on our iPhone. It states we are not on the internet but we am. Other internet games load and open. We just bought more chips and then it stops working. Please fix this.
We have been playing this game often on for a number of years. We agree with so many of the reviews It is impossible for this game to be random. Every card we discard our opponent picks up and uses. Opponents go out after three draws. Doesnt happen to us. We decided to try and discard the cards we needed and obviously our opponent didnt need them. Very strange. We also agree that it is rigged for you to buy chips. You may have a hand or two that keep you playing, but in the end, it is a money pit. A decent gym player in this game is become ridiculous.
Just played and discarded a 6 of hearts and opponent picked it up. Immediately thereafter, opponent went down with a big gin (Ie no discard) and yet did not have the 6 of hearts. Explain that.
The game aesthetics are perfect; but its very disheartening when you have all these lofty goals and cannot even win one game. Very sad that after one draw the opponent gins. This has happened in most of our games at least 3 times now. Too bad the game play cannot be more even w/l ratio.
We spend a lot of money on this game and win 1 out of 8 games. We just dont understand when we spend money we rarely win and when we dont spend money we win. This game has to be rigged. We would like to have a 3rd party investigate this company to prove it’s not rigged.
Played on and off for maybe a year. Just deleted out of total frustration. Lost 6 games in a row. 4 times our opponent got gin within the first 4-5 draws – multiple times within the match. 2 times lost games to 200 where we were shutout and had no possible chance to win any game within the match. Try another game if you enjoy Gin.

Its got to be fixed. We asked a question about a problem that seemed unfair. We bet we havent won 10% of our games since then. We have gotten frustrated and left before, but we always end up coming back. Im gone for good this time. This app is nothing but frustration.
We really, really have enjoyed this game. We’ve won quite a bit and we think Im fairly good. But when we spend money and then consistently lose, dont get any envelopesits hard to think its not rigged. When you lose after one or two turns game after game if really ruins the appeal of this game. It really is hard to think this isnt rigged. We’ve been playing it for a few months and the more money we spend, the more we lose. So ridiculous.
VeryCompetitive and addictive. Gems allow you to upgrade your table stakes buy purchasing chips. However if youre not going to spend a couple of Durhams your going to be chasing gems for awhile. Still Love the game though.
More random deals. Too many quick hands, which lean to blow out lopsided contests. Shortening the timer to 15 seconds would speed up play.
We were really enjoying the game when the weekend rolled around, the special showing at the KING level, where you couldnt lose any trophies. But then, little gremlins started visiting, changing the game, making it less fun. Making you not want to even play anymore. So here we are, watching a Grand Table, where the entry fee is so high, and the payoff is not much more, one doesnt want to chance it. We will anxiously await for the next weekend. We shall see.
When we started playing Gin Rummy, we just couldnt wait for the next game! We’ve played under two names because when we quit the first time, we missed it SOOO much we started over. Since the second time we started there have been MANY changes. Not all good. It has become so obvious that there is a third player, and it has really been obvious that we are not in control of our game! Whats the idea of changing the rules, making the game much more than just Gin Rummy. We could on & on b.
Claims of random card distribution could be supported by a win/loss ratio reverting to the mean. Having played this game for years, achieving a top weekly rank in rare occasion, its incongruous to suffer a 1-to-4 win/loss ratio, dropping from 300k coins to 100k without playing above the king level. Trouble is, familiarity draws us back in until we find a suitable replacement.
We’ve only played a couple hands. We’ve been poking around the game and every time we go to shop, it was empty. Basically we were stuck in the shop. We couldnt go anywhere else. Closing the app has been the only way we have found to get out is to restart the app.
If you play the same points you have to win 3 games to make any progress. Example 10,000 point game you win 5,000 if you win you have to win three games to even make any progress. You need to make it that you get more points than you wager per game. We love everything about the game except that. The point totals need to benefit the player.
The app was great years ago. Then it was made complicated. Too many ads, pushes for inapp purchases, stars, cards wants us to connect to social media etc. But it was ok. After the last update everything went wonky. We click store to collect chips and the screen goes blank. Then we cannot select anything. We’ve killed the app and restarted, removed it from our phone, restated our phone and eventually removed the app entirely and erased our profile we’ve been using for years and started anew and the issue still persists. Id love a stripped down version with out all the crap. Even if it was a paid version. Time to find a gin app that works.

We completely agree with many bad reviews. The game has great potential. That being said almost every time we play we have a similar experience. Tonight we played 3 games. 2 of them went three rounds. In the first game, r1 2 draws and opponent gins r2, opponent draws zero cards knocks with 2, r3 opponent draws 1 card and gins. The second game went normal and was fun. Third game was almost identical as first. Only difference in r3 1 card drawn and opponent knocks on with an ace. We leave for awhile and come back. It’s always the same. We get frustrated after a few weeks and leave again. The fews times we have bought chips. They are gone in a day or two. We have played 15 seasons in a league irl and have won it 6 time snd came in second or third 4 times. Im a decent player. Should not consistently be blown out like this. Multiple times when we play. If it were fair it would be a favorite. Be forewarned and we would really think before spending money.
We love this game- it is addicting but it is absolutely rigged. The more you spend- the higher the level- if you choose not to buy chips or whatever/ you will soon find you cannot win any game. It is crazy. Im so disappointed.
We have plaid hundreds of games and our win record is never above 50%. Cant count the number of times an opponent goes out in two moves and we just played a hand where they went out in one move. Im sure their algorithm leans more towards the paying gamer. Its a shame because this game is actually classy and fun. However, it loses its luster when you lose 9 games in a row.
Easy to play; the way cards come off the deck is so NON random that its ridiculous. As soon as you decide to ditch a card or cards, the NEXT card off the deck is the card youve been waiting for. Happens far too often to be a coincidence. Have fun playing, but know that its as rigged as it can be.
We have been fairly happily playing this game for over a a year, noticing of course that the algorithm that chooses the players and cards is definitely stacked in a particular way each time. How else could our opponent get dealt randomly a 10 when we have just discarded ours, etc, over and over? But up until this week we won enough to keep us playing, with a win rate of less than 50% mind you, including buying into the deals when we were short of points to play. Even so our win average has not been stellar, but we don’t just play the game to win, but to relax. This week we find myself on a huge losing streak with no end in sight and we are finally moved to leave a review, and consider deleting the app, because it’s neither fun nor relaxing to lose over and over and over. Yes the Developers say that the deal is completely random, but it is being dealt by a computer after all, which projects the whole game before it is played. And we are tired of Being Played.
Im a good gin player yet this game is insanely rigged. We have played other gin games and you win and lose equally. Yet this game you will win a round and then lose 20-30 rounds. Its crazy. You buy chips and within a day or 2 they are gone. Dont waste your time or money. We left for awhile and then came back and its the same. Im leaving and definitely wont be back. And we dont wanna hear oh its possible for you to get good hands to cause its rediculous that you would lose that many hands in a row over and over again within the 1-3 draw.
We re-downloaded the app after a couple of years because we really liked the graphics and the manner in which the game played. We dont expect to win every game, but, after a 5 day losing streak to win one game and then go on a 3 day losing streak is aggravating. Our win/loss plummets after we did an in-app purchase. Once our chips are at zero AGAIN, app deleted.
Why cant we find honest Gin Rummy game ? We mean come on we pay high dollars for these devices only to be abused by developers because Apple has no backbone ! This is a great game the first couple of rounds them its just so obvious when all the good cards go to the other side . Now are family bought decks of cards and we play during the day ! Gin Rummy is so much fun when its honest !!! Bye Bye Apple ! We also bought checkers, chess, monopoly etc 90% of the apps are worthless! Deleted !!!!!!! Update response! It isnt a losing streak when all hands for 6 to 10 rounds will not allow us to get 3 cards before the opponent knocks and goes out with fabulous melds , hand after hand ! NO AMOUT OF SKILL OR STRATEGY CAN DEFEAT THAT ! We have no problem rising to the top levels on other apps when the game play is fair and even .
You took great game and utterly destroyed it through greed. What was a fun experience is now an exercise in frustration. Buying things to give you an advantage, in a card game? No, not happening. We started with your original app and this is a massive disappointment into what its turned into. We downloaded the bicycle game app tonight, and we are deleting yours. What a waste.
We’ve had this game for a while what we have noticed on this game is that is not a fair Game. You constantly have to buy bundles in order for you to get chips and diamonds for you to buy boosters without the boosters you have a 40 to 60% less chance of winning a each game. It constantly ask for you to get bundles. At great Price for you. This game would be great if it would be even odds to each player. NOTICE if you are planning to download this game, know that youre going to invest quite some money in order to win games.

This is our favorite app game. Love that Im playing with actual other game enthusiasts. Unfortunately, our app has been stuck at 20% loaded for a week with that message about slow seating when in fact we have a stable connection. We were playing for 2 weeks in Mexico, then couldnt get in the game since returning to the US. Might have to delete and start over, but we’ve accumulated soooo many points!
You will play this game for a while and win about half and half (or slightly less). If you havent purchased in a while, you will lose hand after hand. Not because you are a bad player but somehow you get bad hands and your opponent knocks in 2-3 plays. Over and over. Will be removing app as soon as we run out of coins. Our advice, dont even start this game. Something that should be lighthearted and fun becomes a total stressor. To the developer: shame on you.
We love the original app. We downloaded this one and transferred our chips over from the first app. Well, almost every time we try to play a game it crashes. Sometimes it crashes just from swiping through the other sections of the app. Im bummed because we liked the idea of starting a club with friends, but as of now its unusable for us.
We paid $3 to remove ads, but ultimately the game is pay to win. The lowest table has odds of 1:1 to MAINTAIN your chips. All the others require a win rate of 66%! Your opponents are not betting the same amount (I quickly changed tables and got the same opponents to an unnaturally high degree). When watching ads/paying (theres an XP boost on each game) your draws statistically do better (I recorded data over a week comparing them and its over a 50% boost). And the amount of times your desired cards are matched AFTER discarding is simply unrealistic for random chance. This would be a great game if all the payments were cosmetic. But no, they had to be extra greedy. Might as well shove your head in a toaster.
Game will not completely load and cant play we have removed it from our screen and now cant get it back.
Bad thing about this game is it is one of the better rummy games. However, it is rigged big time. We play around 5 to 10 games a day ranging from the cheaper bets to the higher bets and we very rarely win. They keep telling us that their algorithm is legit but you can not tell us that the people who you are playing are consistently lucky by winning with only one draw. It makes it terribly difficult to accomplish anything. It would be nice to win more than one or two games in a 3 day time frame. We would have given this game a better rating if we could win a few. We are not asking to win all the games but more than winning one or two games a week. It would make the game more challenging and fun and we would bet higher if we knew we had a chance of actually win.
The game is structured in a way where you gain only 1/2 unit of game tokens for a win while losing a full unit with a loss. No player is capable of playing at a 66.67% win rate, so you will quickly run out of game tokens and be forced to purchase if youd like to play the game. The reward system they built into the game is cute, but theres really no value to any of it. Youre still playing gin rummy (albeit with seriously modified scoring rules which keep the games moving fast and vastly change strategy), to win trophies and stamps- which do nothing other than move your rating to a higher tier allowing you to play the same game, except at a higher entry fee (so they can sell you more chips). The interface is well done and polished, but this is no longer authentic gin rummy being played. If you like accumulation games where you win or earn phony rewards and higher rating status, be prepared to fork over a fair chunk of change to advance in this game. If you just want to play gin rummy, not have to pay a bunch for it, and score it the way it is meant to be scored, you will need find a different app, which will probably be not as nice but do the job. Edited to add: our reply to Gin Rummys response: we understand youre running a business but it seems outwardly greedy the way it has been designed so that even your statistically best players must buy (huge quantities of) tokens to advance through the rankings. Youve made the game essentially impossible for the average person to get addicted to. Seems like a flawed business model.
This is not a game you want to spend much time on or a single dime! The moment you spend funds on it good luck! Your win ratio goes to 20% or less and it will keep you from leveling up to earn free chips to play.
The love you give is the love you get. This game is garbage. No love here. First off, the players are all on a hot streak winning on the 2d or 3rd card drawn. There is no strategy with this game as every player races to knock. They are never happy when undercut. Goodbye, Farewell and Amen as this game goes in the hopper where it belongs. To all the expert gin players here. Stay away from real tournaments as this simulator feeds your Ego via your credit card. Not hating just statin what all players here know.
We’ve been playing Gin Rummy for a little while now and must say that this version is fantastic!!! We love Rummy and all things older so the Art Deco style touch is wonderful. We’re a big fan so far. Great job!!!
