Poor documentation, and your account is not backed up on a server. Played for several hours, game froze, had to delete and reload – lost all of the upgrades Id paid for. Apple needs to crack down on these low quality cheats.
Lost all our purchases twice. No way to recover even from saved files. No help from developer after promising to do so. Too bad, otherwise great game.
Graphics are sub standard and there is a ton of confusion on what units are left to move.

As a history-loving person, the game is highly accurate to the actual Napoleonic Wars. The gameplay is absolutely amazing and fun! Although it is a very fun game there is one thing that really upsets us: Pay to Win. The game (in our opinion) is a kinda pay Pay to Win game, with almost EVERY decent general, you need PAY for them, and if you want to buy generals (with medals) there are only a FEW generals that you can buy with medals and those generals are trash (other than Wellesley, aka the Duke of Wellington). Trust us the game is fun, very entertaining and amazing, but the problem with having to get good generals (such as Napoleon) with paying (not even with medals) is frustrating. Edit: our opinion years ago is now (somewhat) changed. This game is absolutely amazing (so now its 5 stars :D), and yes, we admit the game is not about the generals (though they do help), its about the strategy. We have come up with some ideas that we hope you might consider, so heres some: NEW GENERALS! : Charles XII of Sweden (Mainly an Infantry General), Peter the Great of the Russian Empire (Mainly a infantry and Calvary general), and Alexander we of the Russian Empire (Infantry, and Artillery). New Units! : Since we included Charles XII, we thought of his Swedish Caroleans (we are so sorry if we spelled it wrong). And the mighty Tsar Cannon, which would pretty much just be a giant crazy Cannon. We hope you may consider our ideas, and plz, keep making this great game more amazing, and historical! :D.
Its so fun and what you expect when you play a real strategy game.
We love how it has turn base stuff like total war but funnier AND MORE ENTERTAINING 10/10.
This is an enjoyable game and one can even learn a bit about the Napoleon era in France. Some will find the game very similar to the designers, other games, and we also found this concerning just because the soldiers are wearing different uniforms. You really cannot call it an all new game when they are using the same method for combat and troop, recruitment, etc. . That being said, you must remember what we are paying for this which is basically nothing! And we think the developer has done an excellent job given his limited budget to put out a game that is both interesting and enjoyable.
Its a good game but could be better. For example, adding naval ships being able to disembark troops, and artillery dealing more damage to other artillery.
You play and complete a mission but do not get credit and do not open another level. French in the teens and the other 5-8. Depending on difficulties.
The graphics are dated Hard to tell who has and hasn't moved The WWII graphics and logic are much better.
When we were waiting to play conqueror mode it took super long we write review for the developers to make the conqueror mode back and it didnt come back Im waiting for 8 months and the Leipzig defense is broken we were doing so great the Russian only had a one supply and did not had cites we took them and somehow their Calvary were able do it 12 times when we were attacking it one and it was broken!!! Fix this game pls.

Love this game!!! Simple to play, lots of fun and just enough detail to keep us coming back and playing this Napoleonic warfare strategy game. We highly recommend it.

This is a pretty good game! Truly enjoy the generals they have in this game, including troops and troop movement.
The thing about turns per battle is STUPID.
This game barely includes any adds which makes us happy as most mobile games have tons of adds. This game also includes many types of soldiers such as Calvary, infantry, and cannons. We love using the generals to win battles more faster and overall this is a great game.

The game is fun we enjoy it a lot each level makes it fun and challenging the game arts of troop units and generals are pretty good in our imagine just one problem that we have for this game is that most of the generals cost money usually $18 the percents are already there when its put into the game which is to simply say Its a limited percentage off get it now or it disappears yet it stays. The game can be completed with units you unlocked n generals unless you bought them the conqueror mode was an amazing game experience we loved it but its in the process of being developed so we cant play it buts its literally been going on for like a year and now they have released a new game that takes your battery in minutes and what makes it worse is that its basically the same game just some differences but still cost money so we would think its basically a way to take your money lol. We have used some money on this game which we now regret we barely even play this game now since we feel like the developers have given up on trying to fix this game and has started more on their other game. So what we would say is you can play this game the standard way which you literally dont use money or you use the money way and buy op units and generals if your rich and wont regret paying money that would prop reach 200$ before you could take notice. So the game is good just involves a bit of pay to win and doesnt get much attention of the developers as much so its a 50/50 for anyone if you wanna play or not Im thinking of deleting this useless game since theres no point of trying anymore but we dont want to lose our data that isnt reliable since we have progressed far without using much money.

We appear to be having a problem similar to TheTurtleRepublicator as the game appears to start, but the screen goes blank-then nothing. Ive tried turning off and restarting our we-pad, but that didnt help. Any advice would be appreciated so we can get back into the war! Thanks.

This is just great! Ive been playing only on the tablet until today. Super to carry Grand War in your back pocket and be able to play anytime. We dont remember ever playing a non computer game and have this much creativity and strategy involved. Joynow has made a big hit with us. James C Fox.
Please decrease the cost of in app purchases. We spent $215 in this game and $180 in your WW2 game to support you so you can continue to build more of these WONDERFUL games. Cheaper in app purchases means more people will buy your troops and generals, so your company can grow faster. As for the game, GREAT strategy game and very fun. One of the only mobile strategy games that is both in depth without being boring or overcomplicated. It is always engaging and never confusing, a 12 year old could still play it and an adult could still enjoy it.
This is a fun game for no cost. We can see how younger players can benefit from this game play because its not in your face action, but requires thoughtful planning.
None of the games from this company you can recover your stuff you brought if you ever get logged out. Recover button dont work on none of there apps which is funny to us. Also customer support forget it you will last three months and still cant resolve the issue of recovering troops we brought with our actual cash. Cash cow app if u ask us , dont lose your money.

The game itself is good although do to the Black screen bugging out our game we have been unable to enjoy this game we have finally been able to continue playing this game after deleting and reinstalling it but we have lost all our progress and our purchases with seemingly no way to get them back but overall decent game.
This game, which Ive enjoyed for the past couple of years has done this for a third time. We updated to the latest version; and when we opened after the update it goes to a black screen. The only way to fix this is to delete it and redownload it. We reached out to support in the Pat with zero resolution as they couldnt replicate the issue and everything on their end was fine. Sadly we spent money on this game again, and we took their advice and archived our progress/purchases. Surprise, we cant download the old archive of the game, the option isnt even present. If you pay money to this developer please be aware that you will eventually lose it and they will not assist you in getting it back. Ill spend our time and money elsewhere.

Good game, fun mechanics. We havent run into any problems YET. So take our rating with a grain of salt, we just stared playing this.
Its really good we love it we just wished the sensitivity wasnt so annoying but thats really the only problem.
We love this franchise of games from this era to ww2 but what we mean in the title by repetitive is that the game mainly goes by forced campaign. We would like to see a pvp risk style full scale battle, if there is pls let us know, if not we stand by our statement. Good fun game tho.
Got to give this game props. Its easy to learn, hard to master. At one point, we changed devices and lost everything we paid for. To the developers credit, he worked with us to give us all our stuff back.

Ive played many other war strategy games and they all have a conquest mode where basically you choose a country and try to conquer the world this game doesnt have it and it would be really cool for it to have it as well as a sandbox mode where you can create your own battles thats why we rate it a 4/5 add these and you got yourself a 5/5 good game.
