Honestly the most fun we’ve had with our iPad. Bonus: No ads interrupted our game while playing, even after a track was finished. Would recommend to anyone that likes music/rhythm games.
"Bug fixes"… That’s a name that we have heard in a… Way too much. "Bub" fixes or riot, because those bubs are causing some trouble, obviously… (This is more of a joke review, referencing an old misspelling of "Bug fix" as "Bub fix". Here’s a real review: It’s a great rhythm game in its execution, and we like it.)
Honestly, this is 10/10 the best game ever and we recommend many people to try this game out.

We totally forgot about this game. We had the original Groove Coaster on our old iPhone 3G (yes, we still have it) and decided to install it on our iPhone 7 Plus. We forgot how’s much fun this game is. They’ve added a lot of new things, too. We see that the original Groove Coaster has been discontinued. But, we love this one just add much!

This was our favorite game for so long! Then we don’t know what happened, but one day it just wouldn’t play the MUSIC. The game called "Groove" didn’t have any sound. We could still play all the levels, but it was like volume was turned off. So we tried troubleshooting. We found music in settings/options, (music plot type 3) but as soon as we leave options the music is gone again. PLEASE FIX! We love this game so much and NEED to be able to keep playing! UPDATE Upon further searching, we have found this bug in most (perhaps all) of our games. We are raising the star rating up to four stars, because the bug IS still here. With that said, we’re out. Bai SECOND UPDATE It is true joy when you can play your favorite game, especially after not being able too for a month or so. We have found a way to play! And we are just ecstatic. We’re a newcomer towards rhythm based games but this game blew us away with its fantastic gameplay and songs. It’s very good and we really think you should try it out.
This is a really great game, and we’re surprised how it’s not more recognize. The music is good, the beats are very inSync, and the roller coaster theme just adds to what makes it challengingly fun! If you like tech music, you’ll definitely like this game.
Groove coaster on iOS is one of our favorite rhythm games that we have ever played. The music is enthralling and amazing, the charts are spectacularly designed, the avatars are cool, the game’s whole theme is completely innovative, and best of all, you get some great tracks for completely free! However, groove coaster’ best content lies in the purchasable packs, where you can find content unmatched in difficulty for all of the rhythm game masochists (like myself) to enjoy. However, this does require some price commitment from you, so we greatly recommend signing up for a taito ID. However, the price is a small penalty when what you get is so good. Songs like Satisfaction, Stronger, DX Choseinou Full Metal Shojo, and literally everything in the touhou and kagerou project sets make this a worthy pickup for any self-respecting rhythm game player.
Ok so it says we can make a taito thingy and we’ve tried like 10-15 times and it keeps saying our password and our email won’t work and we’ve tried both our emails and 5 different passwords please fix or it’s possible it’s our phone that’s all screwy other than that it’s a pretty cool game.
So we wont be buying any more games by TAITO as we cannot rely on you supporting your products in future IOS updates.
The only time we heard music was in the options menu. Mutes again as soon as we leave.

This app worked for a good while but now all we get is a black screen when we open it. We tried reinstalling and everything still have nothing.
Make sure to flip the hardware mute switch on your phone to get sound.
Eye candy effects make it hard to play the game, but in the good way.
We are thoroughly disappointed that this app does not have more players and reviews. This game is beautiful, the music is amazing, the maps are SO unique and it’s just overall a beautiful game. Please, please, please share with friends, this game needs more hype!
This App is great like osu on the computer but a lot more vibrant but we do wish it had some of the functions that osu does with allowing people to make custom music like [Unravel – Tokyo Ghoul Op] and other great things like more customizable avatars that have cool auras/trails/beats but the game is still great :D.
Love this game, but 3 of the tracks crash our game when we try to play them please fix this issue.

The only complaint we have is that when we went to cancel a purchase, it still went through, draining $4.99 from our Apple ID.

This is our first rhythm game on the 6+, and it’s so beautiful. However, our method of coming across this involves GC Zero, and of course, it isn’t available any longer. We wish it was possible to purchase older content; in our case, it would be the Puzzle and Dragons collaboration.
This game has so many levels to unlock you really never get bored, try it yourself.
Before the gigantic update, we already loved the game. Now that the update has arrived, it makes it more challenging and fun at the same time. We like the challenge of getting S++’s and other high ratings. It really makes us feel good when we get one :). Most of the time, peoples’ devices aren’t compatible with the game. You need ios 5.1.1 and at least an iPhone 5s. But anyways, great music, great challenge, great fun to be had!!!! Now that this smaller, but still quite important update has come out, it has exceeded our expectations by fixing the "beat" bug and the lagging is gone too! The "two-hand tap" bug is just your brain thinking of the "chain" ending sooner than you think. Even if you don’t use your real money to get new songs (Which is totally worth your money) they offer many songs and even more if you level up. They even include the hardest song in the game for free and plenty of other great songs! These songs can add up to infinite fun! The music, even though it first might seem bad, is actually very nice sounding! They constantly add many great updates with amazing events very often, so the game is never the same! Overall 10/10 P.S. Taito, if you’re reading this, then please add more songs from the arcade version and the "Extra" versions of the songs! Thanks! You’re probably already working on these things though! Keep up the great work!

Okay, we don’t really care that you need some ad-libs in order to get an S-rating on some songs. But your event, the one to post highscores to twitter, it isn’t working. All we keep getting is a screen with the words "An error occured" on it. How do you expect some people to participate in your event when it seems like it only applies to certain players?

9/27/2015 was the date of our first achievement in this game, as of today (7/24/2023) we are still just as in love with groove coaster as the first time we downloaded it. We’ve discovered some amazing songs while playing and the beautiful skins are so captivating. And we get to see our replays! We could write forever about this game. Its the only one we make sure to download on every new phone each time we get an upgrade. Thank you developers, we love this so much By the way, we still havent spent any money on this game. Part of it is because we started playing when we were in high school and had no money lol but the included music is really pretty good.
So before we had this game months back in January, logging in with the taito Id was ok. But now since we reinstalled the game, we cant log with our taito id! We keep getting an error that says A connection error has occurred. Please verify that you have a valid network connection and then try again please fix this !
IPads and android phones have had 120hz for 5 years, iPhones have had it for 2 years, give us 120fps support please, our eyes hurt looking at the low fps motion of the game.
This game is awesome. You just have to get past the tutorials and it is totally worth it. It is very challenging and the visuals are stunning! This game is all about rhythm, and sometimes you will have to rely on rhythm solely. Overall it is a blast and is totally worth the download!
This game is pretty well designed, and fun as a quick casual game, and is quite challenging, however, there are some major flaws. 1. Some of the music in-game is not very pleasant to listen to, 2. Some of the visuals in some levels are extremely distracting, and potentially seizure inducing, so be careful when playing this game!
Groove Coaster is a game that could be played for hours upon hours, yet the levels and song choice always seem to bewilder us. The only massive flaw is its pricing for songs, and how you cannot really pick up the game as a Free-To-Play for very long. Otherwise, this game has a competitive sense that keeps most players grooving.
This isnt a review of this game, but a request. (Games amazing, BTW!) Infinity Gene was the game that led us to this, and its gone. Could you bring back Infinity Gene? It was one of the best games we ever played on iOS and was saddened when it was pulled when iPhones went to 64bit Architecture.
We downloaded this app because we recently bought Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party for Nintendo Switch and loved it. This factor caused us to have somewhat high expectations for this game. Those expectations were not entirely met. First point of discussion; the controls. It controlled pretty much how we expected for a Groove Coaster game on mobile. Second point of discussion; pretty much everything else. First off, there should be hit sounds when you actually hit a note. This is especially true with a game like this where the notes are pretty much all over the place. Second off, its kind of slow. Im not sure if its just our device (iPhone XS), but its definitely a bit laggy. Thirdly, the song selection. Im not really sure what to say about it. We havent spent any money on this game yet since we dont play much (Ive only played three songs so far) and havent really enjoyed it much, but based off other reviews, it can get costly. And with that, our review of this game has come to a conclusion.
Play Merrily was BAD but THE NEXT LEVEL IS A LIVING NIGHTMARE! AND we DONT EVEN WANNA KNOW WHAT THE OTHER LEVELS ARE LIKE! The game is still pretty good but HOLY COW that was a SPIKE in the DIFFICULTY!
Our audio offset when playing this game is so incredibly bad, we can set it far enough to fix it entirely so we end up having to click almost a full 0.5 second early. The games great but please fix this.
The game decides to download who knows what every single time we open it and sometimes after just going to another app for a few minutes. What does it need to download!? What changed in those 5 minutes!?
This game is great! We got groove coaster for steam but deleted because anime girl was scaring us a bit. We love undertale music! And you put it in this game! We also really like the skins! They are great and cool!
Super Psychedelic game. Pros: 1. If you are a fan of the tap tap games 2. Great music and beats 3. Colorful and Psychedelic backgrounds 4. Starts off easy but the harder modes make it even more interactive Cons 1. Since the background and music have a psychedelic effect our eyes tend to get tired and we need a break after a while 2. Rewards and menu section are all black and unless you are using a good wifi network will load slow Have fun and enjoy !
We’ve played this game from the 1st to now and we still love this game and the songs they have! Though, we would actually appreciate an epilepsy warning when launching the game for the first time. Not all the time! Just once. Love your game and Im glad this game is still alive!
From our experience the in game music only played when we connected headphones through Bluetooth or Aux. We dont mind it because its immersive, but if you dont have the tools youre kind of missing the music and then the fun.
