Havent played in a few years and despite having to restart Im having a blast revisiting this game.
We have been playing this game for almost two years and am ashamed to admit that this is the first time we have thought to review. The description does not lie when it says that it is ad-free and non-P2W. We have never even been asked to leave a review of the game. It is just so good that we want to. Since we started playing, the developers have added an insane amount of content. We have never played any other game that adds such thoughtful and engaging content anywhere near as frequently as this game does. There are new levels and heroes being added all the time, and various types of events running that can be engaging for players at all levels, beginner or veteran. There is the basic gameplay of adventuring through dungeons with your Gumball heroes. There is also exploring the sky islands. Theyve even added some interesting space exploration! (Im only just starting to explore it!) Many dungeons have such intricate mechanics that the replay value is close to endless, especially when you start to experiment with gumball (hero) teams! You can, of course, make in-game purchases to help with your progress. We have found that it is entirely unnecessary, but our love and enjoyment of the game has led us to buy one or two of the cheaper packages just to express our thanks. We occasionally take breaks from the game, but always find ourselves drawn back to it. There arent any pay or time walls preventing you from playing. Ever. Only some aspects of the game may need to be waited for, but you get so much in-game currency that even that is pretty rare. And even if you dont (or dont want to spend it), there is still something you can do until the time elapses. The game can be played for hours on end, or for just a couple minutes. Easy to pick up and put down. Always engaging. We love this game. Thank you devs for such a fantastic game.

This is really great game. You can enjoy without paying money. But it deserves to pay. One thing we want it to be fixed is that the set effect of equipment set doesnt reflect. Thats it.

One of the best rpg games we've ever played on mobile.
Dungeons are only a small part of the game, with the rest being full of gatcha mechanics and timers. The game UI is poor, requiring tons of scrolling and tapping to achieve even basic tasks. Multiplayer events plagued with lag and devs refuse to improve.
Spend years playing this game only to get to the end game part of chaos and its so laggy, you get booted, cant log in, and the Chinese alliances get all the prizes. Just look at the rankings and search for the rewards, Chinese alliances consistently have 2 to 4 times more rewards, why? Because the rest of the world cant log in, or get booted, or get false late info in the chaos field which makes monster hunting impossible. You can send in proof of such lag, and boots, via videos to the developers, and they still deny that there is a problem. Do you spend a lot of money playing this game, a lot of time getting to the point of the endgame, and its unplayable. The developers will not get one more dime from us until they fix the chaos lag and we can play in every chaos attack. This is incomprehensible, its irresponsible, and its a huge F U to the player base.
We have this game in our old cellphone from android, but when we want to export the accounts is impossible. We cant. We try to reach the team but never got a response back. Please let us know.
Just a truly enjoyable passing time game. On the bus? Hop into a dungeon. Waiting for the doctor? Collect your coins and do some upgrades. Its just good fun without any predatory tactics. 10/10.

Gumballs and Dungeons is your be of the most innovative and unique games we have yet to play. Its interesting take on the rpg genre has us sinking hour after hour with 100s of hours of replayability. This ontop of the fact that the game is completely free we have no choice but to give this game 5/5 starts, highly recommended. You will not find a game app more mesmerizing for all ages. We played this game years ago on our first phone and Im so glad its still around for us to come back to. Steady point and click progression. It doesnt get boring. Characters are easy to power up and you can gain resources idly. Its just fun.

This game is so much fun. We wish there was a way to keep upgrades throughout dungeons as you earn exp and upgrade that character. It would just be fun to have another way to grow the Gumballs.

We have been playing this game since 2016 and we absolutely love it to this day! Forget D&D what you know about G&D.
But we havent played the game in a good couple years, and one day we were feeling nostalgic and wanted to play the game that we loved from so many years ago, however, every time we try to enter the game, it just doesnt load at all and instead just disconnects us, telling us to log in again, and unfortunately, we cant even get past the title screen. This is really frustrating and upsetting for us. We just want to play the game.. Update: we tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it works now thankfully, however the game still has a noticeable issue with the buttons being extremely finicky and requires more than just one tap to press a button, which we noticed when using the artisan assignment button, and we basically have to tap over nine times just to click the button ONCE, which is not great for the furnace tutorial part.. Ill add to this if we notice any other bugs, also wanted to mention that these bugs are specifically on the classic server version, and Im not aware if its on the newer version as well Update 2: turns out its not just the assign button that is messed up, and needs 9 or more taps just to click the button once on the classic version, it also pertains to picking up the dungeon items as well. Update 3: it pertains to attacking enemies as well, but thankfully it seems to have calmed down and has narrowed down the amount of taps required to click something and is now seemingly working a lot more smoothly now.
We loved this game from the moment we started playing it. It was a little confusing at first but man did we enjoy learning how to go through each little dungeon and ride up higher and higher in the endless mode. Trying different things such as different potions or different spells to get us through each floor made us not only read (something we dont do as much anymore) but take the time so really enjoy playing this oh so amazing game! We really appreciated the letter you guys left in the game from Peter! That really touch our heart and made us feel so connected to the dream you guys had and the love you put into creating such a fun, silly, but beautiful game. Thank you.
The sheer amount of content is overwhelming. There is so so so much to do and explore and so many clever easter eggs and puzzles. Huge fan. 10/10.
Its a crime that this game is free to play. Honestly one of the best mobile games on a the App Store.
As the title says, we re-installed the game and tried to login via Facebook, but it keeps giving us a not activated app, the devs know about the issue and will be fixed when app is reactivated. Devs, Ive been a long standing player, since about 3 months after this app came out. We got a new phone and redownloaded it, but now Im unable to get our old account back. Please fix, we LOVE this game.
