In the Euchre card game, specifically version 2 developed by Hardwood, we and other players have reported issues with the single-player mode where the AI partner frequently calls trump and gets euchred, which is frustrating due to the AI's seemingly poor decision-making.This has led to criticism that the game is poorly designed in this aspect, as the AI's behavior does not align with optimal Euchre strategies, making it difficult for players to win consistently. Game Design Flaw: The AI partner's tendency to call trump without a strong hand leads to frequent euchres, which is a flaw in the game's design. Player Frustration: Players have expressed frustration with the AI's decision-making, as it often results in losing points due to the AI's poor judgment in calling trump. Lack of Strategic AI: The AI does not appear to follow standard Euchre strategies, such as leading trump when it is beneficial to do so, which further contributes to the negative experience.
Hardwood Euchre is our favorite card game App. It plays like the real thing so we can stay sharp in between real games.
We love this game and we love this app.
As a longtime user, we can say that Hardwood is the best euchre site out there. Version 1 was/is far superior. If you get this game, first download version 1 on a PC. (not a Mac) The rating system is really fun and we really like the medieval theme avatars and music. If you want to succeed within the rating system, we suggest making lots of nicknames and resetting when you dip below 1450, although it is much harder since they limit you to 3 names with version 2. We like the app, but they deal out an unrealistic amount of loners, which take the fun out of the good games.
We enjoy learning the game with the app people not real people.
We now know how to delete apps on AppleTV. Maybe that part was worth the 99 cents.
We love playing euchre and this is the best site we have found. We have been playing for at least 9 years in this site and there are so many regulars, Ive known since that time….. They have to be doing something right.
Excellent game. We think best card games ever. We just liked buying a unlock key better than purchasing a membership. We hope they go back to that.

This is a fantastic card game and great software.
We really like Hardwood Euchre. However, the app for iPad does not measure up to the one on our desktop. The hands that are dealt are repetitive. We recognize receiving the same exact hands we have been dealt in previous games, which makes the games kind of boring, unfortunately, (which is why we only gave it 3 stars).
Been a Euchre player for 50 years and blocked out by who ever runs the show.
This game is awesome on our Mac, thrilled they made an app! Best euchre by far on the app store! Would like it if they made the trump indicator a little bigger, and we'd like to turn off the highlighting the playable cards. Love it.
Game doesn't order cards by suit – doesn't adjust for left Bauer. Generally a low tech effort here.
The game is slow … Horrible with iPhone. The graphics are too much, kept getting stuck in screens. Waste of money. First app that's ever really frustrated us.

If you want a good game of euchre with other people, then this is the best there is. You can access leagues and meet a lot of great new friends. Best playing site there is for euchre.
Love this game. Too bad it is a HUGE ripoff! After buying the game you only have a 30 day trial membership to play rated games online. After that they want $2.99 per month! That is outrageous for this game!!! Oh well, could have been a great game. Fun while it lasted. :-(.
We have been given the wrong trump call over and over, because the icon to choose trump is so small! When they start charging $, we're gone.
We loved this game…for the first 30 days, that is. After that, you have to pay to play either $2.99 or $4.99 per month. Deleting app…now.
There are other euchre games out there that is free or cheaper that's better.
They charged us for a lot of purchases that we NEVER more not was we aware of… We contacted them (silver creek) about this matter and they said there once nothing they can do. That is some bs and a horrible company. There is always something that can be done, but they aren't willing to… Not too customer friendly.
We installed this game on a regular computer through their website 3 years ago for $26 and we still am using it without paying any further costs. It works better and has more options. This app is a RIP.
We've always loved playing Silver Creek games, but here in iTunes they've really ruined it for us. EVERYTHING extra costs real cash, fooms, online play, avatars, cards (back and front), and environments. Hell, even the number of fooms you can use online and local. What greedy underhanded move on your part. Had we known, we never would have purchased this app…by the way, we did purchase it didn't we?!? So why do you need MORE of our hard earned money.
We love love love Hardwood on computer. We paid for this program years ago. They have now started charging a monthly membership and we do not have to pay. This app only let's you play rated games if you have a monthly subscription. We would not have bought this app if we knew that.
We have free games that play over the 3 and 4G network, work faster, multitask, let you "chat" in game and don't have some gay D&D theme; and they were free! Same games work 10X better than this and cost $1. Can someone please make a decent euchre game for the iPhone/iPad.
