It’s rated 4+ and currently has 953+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Hashi: Bridges Stand Out

Connect bridges between islands to form one interconnecting path! Hashi are addictive bridge-connecting puzzles which were invented in Japan. Using pure logic and requiring no math to solve, these fascinating puzzles offer endless fun and intellectual entertainment to puzzle fans of all skills and ages.

Each puzzle is based on a rectangular arrangement of circles, where each circle represents an island and the number in each island tells how many bridges are connected to it. The object is to connect all islands according to the number of bridges so that there are no more than two bridges in the same direction and all bridges are interconnected enabling passage from any island to another.

To create a bridge simply swipe your fingertip between two islands. The game also features highlighting options, helping see in which directions bridges are allowed and whether an island segment is about to become isolated.

To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

For more fun, Hashi contains no ads and includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

Community Insight:

The puzzles you have are great, but we would love to see more. Specifically skyscrapers.

Ive been playing Hashi for a decade now and it has never gotten old. We love its design and its simplicity, as well as the built in functions that make the app so enjoyable and easy to use.

Loved Hashi on paper and playing via this app is even better. Swipe once for one bridge, again for second bridge, third time to clear again. Undo/Redo buttons. Numbers grey out automatically when satisfied by correct number of bridges. Very clean layout. Lots of puzzles with a range of difficulty: Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Medium Plus, Hard and Very Hard. Within the categories, size of grid varies as well.

Even turning off dark mode, you cant tell if you finished a set. The gray is too hard to distinguish against the black.

A tool that lets you form dashed lines to test out possible bridges would be very helpful for the more difficult puzzles. Hard to just do it from memory and/or undo/redo.

All Conceptis puzzles are recommended.

Professional, smooth interface, great puzzle design, lots of content. We love this game, and the company's puzzles have all been rock-solid for us.

Been playing their games for years and never tire of them! Thanks so much for these.

A fun game that requires lots of thinking.

Ive tried quite a few Hashi apps, and have settled on this one because its the best. We love it.

These puzzles are fun, can be challenging, and we like the combination of free weekly puzzle with a big library of paid puzzle options. One of our favorite puzzle apps.

We love this app! So much fun and a nice challenge without any annoying ads.

No ads and great brain exercise. Fun and zen too.

We never rate. Worth a love! Love it.

Excellent way to keep mind sharp & is fun.

We enjoy the game. Wish there were more free.

Easy to use, endless puzzles, clean interface, good record keeping options. So grateful to have found these puzzles.

We really enjoy Conceptiss version of this game. The UI is well designed, and the game difficulty ratings seem very fair. Over 13 years ago we started playing Hashi in a book by Alistair Chisholm. In his puzzles the island layouts were symmetric along both diagonals, and the solution paths had varying degrees of symmetry. We grew to enjoy especially the island symmetry and still miss it in these games. With that symmetry, at least as an option, we would rate this app a 5. Updated 12/06/22: this has remained a constant favorite for a few years. While we would still like to see symmetry in the island layout (see original review), we now feel this app has earned a 5 even without that feature.

This game and all of the conceptis games rule. We love them.

We love that we can pick up this Hashi app anytime and think through some puzzles. We also appreciate that it is ad-free so we can share with our kids and not give a second thought to worries that theyll see ads for garbage mindless games. Thanks Conceptis.

This is a great company to download games from. No intrusive add, and a free puzzle every Friday. We are happy to buy extra puzzles from them, because they really have earned it.

Superb puzzle. Cognitive challenge. We play at least 2 times a day.

Game is good but it NEVER STOPS giving pop-ups asking to rate and/or asking to set-up backups. No matter if you click later or never or no thanks or literally WHATEVER you select, it never stops.

Its fun. Its not obnoxious with ads, great app.

The game is fun, and the app works well. It could maybe do with a few features, but its good.

Great game! Tons of fun and lots of available puzzles.

Another great game from conceptis. Could be more free levels though or larger packs for less $.

It's so satisfying to see the puzzle complete. We love this game.

Really fun to work these puzzles, we play it a lot, its pretty satisfying trying to work out new methods to sort out the logic behind the puzzles. Lots of different ways to approach them, the puzzles are very replayable with enough time in between, we like to try and beat our previous time.

As with many of the best logic puzzles, the rules here are simple and few. However, that doesnt stop some puzzles from being intricate and complex. With lots of free practice puzzles, a user-friendly interface, hints for those who need them, and a free weekly puzzle that ranges in difficultly, this is a top-notch app.

Dont hesitate. Just get it. Awesome.

We find this puzzle interesting and generally like the interface. It is straightforward, user friendly, and clear. The game would be even better if there was an option to put down a guess line in a different color, do be able to test different possibilities in the harder games rather than having to keep them in ones head.

Why did we never discover this before? But as we get to higher levels, they seem a lot harder! We should get some instruction, so it doesnt take an hour or more to play.

Love this game and play all the time. Our only two requests are that there should be a dark mode. The game is incredibly bright at night. We also play all the time and always have to buy new level packs that take us no time to go through. We think there should be more updates with free levels than just one a week.

Rock solid game play, with reliable undo/redo and intuitive interface. Lets you focus on the puzzle.

We used to play sudoku for a long time but now this one is our favorite: similar style of logic game, different levels of difficulty. Love it.

Just learning. Showing errors is very helpful in the learning process.

Great puzzles, and theres lots of free ones. The controls are also really smooth.

Lot of fun. Nice variety of puzzle difficulty levels. Very easy to add or remove lines as needed, and we like the features where a node gets crossed off when it has the right number of connections, the feature to highlight a connected structure, and the feature to show possible connections for any given node.

By far the best Hashi game we've played. Simple, no frufru, ease of use and perfect for players liking quick solving of puzzles. Everyone associated with the app design deserves a good raise. Thank You.

Love this game! We cant stop playing and love no ads.

Fans of sudoku, Nonograms and the like will love Hashi. Great game, well written app.

Lots of fun, and a moderate challenge without being too difficult.

So far, Im just using what is free and Im loving it. Doesnt have annoying ads. Doesnt make you watch a clock while youre solving (but does track it). Has various levels to choose from. Lets you easily see the paths you're creating. Has undo/redo. Really just everything we could hope for and nothing that we dont want. Couldnt have designed it better ourselves. Finding the bonus weekly games is a nice, fun touch for the long term.

Nice UI to show when a node is complete, and the feature of highlighting a connected group is very handy.

Very challenging. We really binge on it.

Love puzzle games that exercise our mind & this is one of the best! Thank you for creating it :).

Love almost no ads. Wish there were more puzzles. Requires thinking, but allows us to work. Frankly, one of the best apps out there.

This is an excellent puzzle game. You should give it a try.

Hashi is an excellent brain game for visual-spatial learners! Never having a gift for math or working with numbers, we find Sudoku puzzles both frustrating and tedious. Crosswords can be fun, but many times we feel like you either have the word in your vocabulary or you dont. Hashi is finally the logic puzzle where we feel like our brain is firing on all cylinders. Like non-math students who usually end up preferring geometry over algebra, Hashi JUST MAKES SENSE. Give it a try and enjoy the ride. The free puzzles will keep you busy for a long time, and you can always just erase them all and start over again, so definitely give this app a shot.
