Enjoying our escape from a shelter in the storm. Great puzzles, graphics add to creepiness. Well worth the price.
On the whole, this is a good puzzler game. It took us about three hours to solve it, which is a worthwhile play. Really only one puzzle was frustrating to us, and that was because we missed a very subtle bit one room earlier which, had we cracked it, would have made the other puzzle much easier. No spoilers from us, though. It’s not as interactive as The Room, but it’s a fun play, and we found the gothic atmosphere enjoyable. Hoping the sequel comes out soon.

Just downloaded it. Haven’t gotten far but we’re liking it so far. We would suggest though to maybe have a hint button because there are times when you truly do get stuck. Otherwise we really like it.
This game is full of difficult puzzles, creepy scenery, and a story that will haunt you.
This was definitely worth the 3 dollars. It had everything we were hoping for: a good story, clever puzzles, and a real creep factor. The puzzles are fun with a little bit of patience. But if you get stuck there’s a Facebook connection with a walk through. Great game!!
Great game! It really made us think about how to work thru the puzzles and challenges. Difficult but not impossible. This is one of our favorite escape games!
Not too easy. Not too hard. Great adventure game. Had some parts that stumped us for awhile, but we would leave it, then come back and figured it out. Fun!

We really like this game. Makes you think. Though we do wish it had a hint button since we’re stuck. To those who are thinking about buying this game it’s worth it. Use your notebook it will help. Anyone who can tell us how to find the pendulum it would be greatly appreciated.

We were aggravated at first, but after we kept at it, the game started to hold our interest. No support or suggestions about what your next move would be.
We love trying new games, trying to fight our short term memory loss (use it or lose it). We delete most of the games we try but this is one is perfect for us, challenging but not impossible.

We liked the game but… When we purchase a game we expect to be able to play it more than once! This game doesn’t allow but 1play!!!
Normally we play games where there is a hint button, this game does not offer that option. This makes for a challenging experience.
A puzzle game that has great graphics and makes you think logically. We couldn’t put it down for hours at a time.
Just started and at for now we really like it… We think some hints for the app would be nice rather than pushing us to a Facebook page…. That is the one thing we don’t like….. That would be the one thing that might deter us from future purchases….

We found this game a little frustrating at first, after the slightly more intuitive and interactive game play of The Room and The Room 2, but once we stopped comparing the two we found Haunted Manor very enjoyable. Move from room to room and observe. Things you do in one room may have an effect on things in another room. Some of the nay sayers here clearly didn’t get that. Took us two sessions to solve this one, and on to the next. If you liked this game, try the other two we mentioned. Good exercise for the brain.
It’s’ not The Room, but it’s a nice past time until the next rendition of The Room comes out. Some issues with correct placement of objects; you undertake the right action, but the program says it’s incorrect because the action is not exact. Annoying, but overall enjoyable.
It has glitches which make it a lil extra challenging over all it’s good.
This game was great, but not near long enough. We feel like there should have been more to get our money’s worth.

The game was fun, until the glitch at the fuse box. There are no movable parts and it didn’t match the picture from the walkthrough.

Some things you do are nit very clear what they effect. Ending was cool, but too short a game for the cost.
The puzzles were fun. Some were more difficult and some very easy if you just pay attention. Our only real complaint is we were done in a few hours. On games like this you don’t go back and replay the game because you already know all the secrets. We would think for 3 bucks we would get more gametime than that. Thats the only reason we are giving it 3 stars. If it had been longer and worth the money it would have been a 5. Hopefully the new one is longer!!
It was a fun game however for something so short we can’t really give more than 3 stars on it.
That took two hours tops and wasn’t difficult at all. The answers to everything are out in the open and once you see the puzzle they’re to solve, it’s very obvious and the notebook has the solution right in it. Meh.
Clumsy interface, poor quality graphics, repetitive musical score (I’m being kind referring to it as a score), and awful grammar all detract from the atmosphere. Atmosphere and story are what make games like this great. This certainly falls far short. Look at games like Year Walk and The Room for how to make an awesome game. Puzzles were okay but simple. Color theme throughout was a nice touch.
Unfortunately, after completing about 3/4 of the game, it froze. We are unable to complete an essential task because of this and, therefore, cannot continue with the game. Frustrated and apprehensive about purchasing the second version. We’ll give 2 stars as it was a kinda fun and the puzzles were a bit challenging.
