Really enjoying this game. Quite different puzzles and searches. Neat graphics, no problems.

Not bad, a great way to waste/kill time, keeps ya thinking and before you know it 3-4 hours are gone. A lot of fun and not frustrating, but if you needed it, there’s always the magic hint button to get you heading in the right direction.

There were noticeable delays in game play, but the story played out well.

We enjoyed the game. The HO’s were interesting. We never looked at the Map. The hint was very helpful. The game froze on us twice but we just closed the IPad and it started up immediately where we left off.

Jerky, clunky, occasionally crashes, makes our iPad run really hot! That said…. There is something addicting about this game. Storyline marvelous, well hidden butterflies to collect, morphing objects in HO but only once the jewel box appears upper right HO. Transporting indicated map. Few vermin but no close ups, brief interaction. We will keep playing we want to see how the plot plays out.

We find the moves made in this game to be a bit confusing. We have to continually go to the map to find out what to do next, and where. We have paused it frequently, though, so maybe we just haven’t been too attentive to the game. The map is good, and has teleportation. The hint seems good, too, and you’ll need it. The map leaves circles at places you’ve been and there’s no explanation as to what they represent. The puzzles vary but are way too easy to be challenging. We’re not sure if we want to buy it or not.

Not very exciting. Disliked the one woman’s voice, terrible!! Lagged between scenes. Wasn’t interested in doing the bonus chapters! Glad we didn’t pay full price.

The game itself was quite acceptable, but it gets only 3 stars from us because it was so short. Don’t pay full price for this game. The story was decent and the graphics okay. The map and hint button worked nicely. The puzzles were a bit too easy although a couple of the HOs were unique. But the game was short. We believe that this is what the game creators and distributors are doing to make more money. Instead of raising their prices, they’re making the games shorter. Costs the creators less and gets us to buy games more frequently since they’re shorter. We enjoy playing these games, but we’re not paying full price anymore. Oh, the game crashes during the bonus game, so we don’t even get that.

All Reviewers: As stated in our last review, the developer, Absolutist, has released a new HOA entitled "Space Legends: At the Edge of the Universe," which costs only $2.99. So far, it is generating positive reviews. In addition, Artifex Mundi is conducting a sale this week on several of their games for a price range of between $1.99 to $2.99. Good games for good prices! Well, this plot is quite "coo-coo"! It’s fundamentally your typical supernatural fantasy with dark overtones mixed in, but it fails to generate an attention-grabbing reaction. We find myself rather unimpressed. The graphics are visually lackluster since they are very blotchy and muddy. The colors exhibit neutral, earthy shades of blue, green, brown, and yellow. You can customize your settings so that you can take off sparkles and search penalties; however, faulty programming ensures that we still have sparkles even though we turned off that option. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. One positive aspect to note is that the movement of inventory items is exceptionally speedy. The map allows fluid transport to labeled locations and indicates available objectives. You are given a "back" button to avoid unwanted returns to prior scenes. Unfortunately, a journal is excluded. Transition is seamless and brisk; other than sparkles, no other glitches to report. The HOS are a disappointment; so far, they are mostly interactive word lists without much creativity. In addition, you revisit the same scenes twice; and this adds a sense of insipidity. The puzzles are interesting though; for example, we loved the one where you move the figures to their corresponding flags as you gain parts of the backstory. The collectibles are fairly visible in placement. To sum it up, there are no "outside-of-the-box" elements presented here. Furthermore, the story is bland; and it fails to stimulate or rouse us. Moreover, the game has an outdated feel. We cannot suggest this one due to the reasons stated above, as well as the noted technical flaws with regards to the custom settings. Our rating is only three (3) stars.

This game was very glitchy. Sometimes you touch a place on the screen and it brings you somewhere else when that’s not what was intended. Sometimes the description that pops up doesn’t seem to match what’s going on. The back button was sometimes in the way of something we needed to activate. And, moving between scenes sometimes took soooooo long that we felt we were "frozen in time". It was very frustrating.

Fun to play for the first 2/3s but after the town hall section the whole thing was messed up. You couldnt see the chronometer on the bottom left anymore, you could hear voices, but there were no people to be seen. Couldnt follow the directions to match the symbols on the chronometer because you couldnt see the chronometer! The whole last third of the game was a total waste of mone! Refund please!

After we read the reviews by Catalina, KimTwilight, Opinion and Dracyy, who are all cherished DTE members, we guess we made a mistake purchasing it, but we gave it a shot. We wanted to thank Kim for recommending the Absolutist game. We purchased it but haven’t played yet. We want to wish you all a wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you as always Dracyy for looking out for us! We don’t know if Snooper will play but we send much her way! This game had so many elements that we all want: lengthy with a long bonus adventure, a back button, customization of settings, a marked teleport map, labeled inventory with complex items to assemble, not HO-heavy, lots of puzzles, and a neat gimmick (the chronograph). It also had an interesting storyline as well. The graphics were not great but they were colorful as opposed to hideous and gloomy. The biggest issue was the game mechanics, or lack thereof! The gameplay and the dialogue ran very slowly and inventory usage was almost impossible at times. It is almost comical that this was a game about time and it didn’t run properly. BigFish, how could you give us a game that ran this poorly and drained our iPads as well? If the best thing we can say is no major rats that’s pretty bad! A lot of you were overly generous with the stars! Not us! Merry Christmas everyone! Lynxie hopes nobody gets any coal in their stockings and all of your dreams come true!

What a huge disappointment! No glitches so far, however for starters the tutorial and aspects of the game are very poor. Storyline & and character voices at times are so weak that volume needs to be turned up on your iPad. The music you can adjust (which is overpowering.) The attempt at making interactive moves leaves a lot to be desired. Very few hidden object scenes so far! Teleporting map is available but we are noticing that it doesn’t always tell you where objective task are available. Totally inconsistent. If we had known that it was this bad we wouldn’t have bought it. Surely, this close to Christmas there are more enjoyable games that could have been released. Our opinion is this series needs to go away!!!! KdBoots (p.s. Hopefully, someone out there will like this) 2 stars is being generous in our book.

Awkward game…. Lot of wasted scenes and videos and no puzzles. We buy these to play not watch. Lot of tapping to back out of scenes. So frustrating!

So we’re about 70% done, and we need tweezers. We get them go to use them and they disappear and. Can’t move on. Probably have to reload entire game and start over. Also the wedding cake game is barely playable. This has a really cool concept with absolutely horrid game play. Do Not Buy!!!

It was just OK then it froze in the bonus round and we could not complete the game… Waste of money.

Terrible game, come on Big Fish you guys can do better than this.

And awful controls. Not worth any money.

Frozen in time is INDEED frozen in time…. We thought our iPad was locked up…. Rebooted and found out it was the game… Too many glitches to mention…. Found myself hitting the "back" button about 10 times… Then when it finally went back, it backed up about 2 scenes… Don’t waste your time…

The game is glitchy and the graphics are low quality. We couldn’t even get past the point of filling in our name without it glitching and kicking us out twice. Then, it happened several times after that. Not typical Big Fish quality.

Ridiculous story line, boring and repetitive puzzles– there is little to engage the mind even on your dullest day. This must have been developed by the B team or maybe the interns.
