Srsly the original game is called doom.
BUT ITS FREE AND THAT MAKES IT AUTOMATICALLY WORTH IT.
Must get worth it 9/10 it's doom but with different monsters but like the all the maps are dooms maps good copy but not worth the money just use the demo basically the same but we like how haxcs has a cheat page love it reminds us of the 90's must download.
We dont really see why there is so many negative comments. This game is pretty good for a game of its price. And this doomsday game is not the only game in the world.

We know it's a remake of doom. But still awesome! Yes there are adds on the side but it's free and that's the only way to make it free.(duh) the adds cover over the in game menu button, but if you flip your iPhone over in the "move controls" section, you can move any blocked buttons away from the adds.(duh) a very addictive demo, we're buying the full v. Later.. We want to finish the demo first. We like the graphics because it brings us back to the 90's. Hahah. Any issues with movement can be addressed in the controls screen. Thank you for putting this great remake in our hands.
This is an awesome game. The add can get in the way but it's not that much of a problem. This is the same as doom except it is free. Remember it's a trial but it gives you a couple levels to try out before you buy.
Has a lot of potential, if graphics are improved it may one day be number 1 game app! We say it's a very well orginizes and thought out game, just needs graphics fixed.
Doom is not the only game in the world. This is a good game.
It's good and bad the maps on it where good on pc but here was bad but other than that yeah this is cool.
We only have 1 bad thing to say about it The aim movement is up to max and please tell us in lieing do those things have guns equied all an all it's not bad just needs some work with it.
Idk why we like this fake doom so much ive learned to work around the ads and we never crashed.
This is a blast however the controls are very awkward, took us awhile to get used to them. But overall very fun. Not something we would pay for however. We say good job, but again, needs work. At the end of the first level we crash, but besides that it runs flawlessly. A tutorial wouldn't go amiss either. We were pretty confused on what to do at first, that along with the weird controls made this game a little more confusing than it should have been. We know we seem to be repeating ourselves a lot but we want to get across that this was a fun game overall.
Controls are horrible! There is an ad 2cm away from here you have to tap to fire the weapon. So you constantly tap the advertisement! Not very fun with an ad constantly popping up.
Would be great if you took that add on the side of the screen. Graphics are ok and movement is iffy move to fast should be able to control how fast you go in the options. And did you really copy doom lol so funny. But glad you made it for the iPod touch. Just take away that stupid add and we'll play again!! And we think the controls should be more like eliminate which is more like an xbox Which is easy compared to always looking around at a ten speed Which is hard and you should be able to control how fast you look around in the options!! Every thing els is fine. Just fix the adds and movement then we'd buy it if we had a dollar lol.
Freezes on iPad2 ….. Frame rate is like 0.5 FPS ! We're going to IDSoftware, and we hope we don't have to JB to play full Doom & custom mad on our iPad2.
This is a poor mans doom. Everything in it is completely uninspired and unoriginal. The controls are hard, and it glitches out a lot. But it's awesome. None of our previous statements matter, because it's awesome. We love how it uses sprites instead of polygons, with enemies drawn from 8 angles instead of being actually 3d. The music is nothing special, the actual tunes are alright, but the sound quality reminds us of the sega 32x port of doom. (or it may have been on sega cd, we don't remember) the weapons are fun to use, and the general atmosphere is awesome. We give it four cyberdemons out of five.
It is good but it is a total ripoff of Doom.
This app is based on the Freedoom IWAD project AKA the free alternative to Doom. But the project has gotten much better now, containing a better font (srsly, the font here is an eyesore), amazing edits that give the enemies a fresh and unique look, enhanced weapon gfx and sfx, more maps and better music. Its not complete, but it is way better. Just download Gameception (or a source port for your PC) and play the latest Freedoom with it. You'll enjoy it a lot more. We hate it when we have to buy a free alternative (but it's legal). This app is essentially an alpha demo of Freedoom: rough and incomplete.
This game is ok. The controls are good and we like the enemies. But we think that it still needs work, the graphics aren't that good and nothing out of it is original in gameplay and design. If we were looking for a good fps on the App Store, we would get doom, wolfenstein 3D, and dead trigger. Not this game. If you are looking for a fps on the App Store, go get doom. It's waaaay better than this. We know doom costs more but you get better quality, enemies, controls, levels, and weapons. Consider this a poor mans doom.
It will be great if you had cheats and to kick.
First of all, the movement NEEDS a due over, make a left digital stick for movement and strafing and leave the right side of the screen for aiming and shooting. It's an ok game but we would NEVER pay for this game at it's current version. We'd rather just stick with id and buy the real doom.
The game is okay and all but you really need to improve the controls.
For all the idiots; it's supposed to look like Doom. For those curious; it's awesome. The controls are better than on Eliminate, and it's waaaay more fun to play. The graphics aren't the best, but hey, remember the graphics in Doom? For a handheld fps it's not bad at all. Give it a try, and if ya like it; spend the dollar for the full version. P.S. The ads need to go, or at least go somewhere else. They're messin' up the gameplay a bit. Do something about that and you'll get 5 stars again.
This has the same maps & levels of Doom from [id software] game they will not like how [NGS TECHNOLOGIES] are making a profit from their game! We remember using mods on our PC replacing the demons with Barney, Hello Kitty & Beavis & Butthead same thing.
The Doom app for the iPhone is open source. You can actually get the entire app from iD's site(if they would fix the link, that is) and use it to make your own levels, though as Carmack notes, "you are on-your-honor to buy a copy from the App Store before using the data." Data being the textures, sprites, maps, sounds, etc. That the original game uses. The actual engine itself is apparently free to use. These guys (and others) simply built custom levels for the engine and put it on the App Store. Think of it more as a Total Conversion mod then an entire game. As a side note, someone should slap some custom textures on the Hell Revealed/Memento Mori maps and put it up here. We don't know if the original WAD authors would like that, though.
Control setup is absolute rubbish. The trigger is a small, and invisible button that is easily missed and cannot be altered in the custom settings. Very annoying.
Much harder than the original. You can't even look up! Curse that zombie hoard.
This is just a port of Free Doom with average controls and an ad that actually interferes with the touchscreen buttons, definitely not worth the buy as it doesn't even have mouse look.
Would have been a great game to play if the ads would just disappear. Only played it for a minute and we already raged quit because we would tap on the ad when we try to move.
This is defiantly a cheap version of doom. Instead of imps and bulls u get slugs?? The game crashes at the end of the first level so u have to start new game and pick the next level and the graphics are pretty crappy. We won't be buying the full game. If we were going to pay money it would be for the real doom.
Okay app better if it wouldn't lag and the adds block the controlls.
Controls are terrible. Level design is not particularly interesting, doesnt even try to cover its exactly like doom. But the worst part, and the reason im deleting it is because the controls are so terrible.
Get rid of them and ill give five stars.

Cool game, but the controls are a pain.
We have a few bones to pick with this game. First off, you only have 2 functioning maps. 2 of the other maps drop you in a small square room with no way out and no enemies where you can't do anything. The other has 2 enemies. It dosen't last long. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to Jump and look up and down. Lastly, when you choose two of the maps where you can do something, when you kill the 5-15 enemies, they don't spawn more. Also, in the game they don't teach you how do do anything.
Can't shoot. We died when we get got into the game.
We tried this out and thought eh it's alright, needs some work etc then we got on our PC and wanted to see what DOOM wads we haven't played, we booted up free doom phase 1 and 2, turns out hell on earth is taking free doom which is free online and making you pay for it, we were surprised at the differences, mainly they changed some weapon sprites and minor enemy sprites, everything else is from free doom itself, sounds and all. If you want to play this with better controls and everything then download either GZDoom or zandorium and get yourself free doom, you'll have a better experience than this horrible port.
Download that instead this is just a copy.

Complete rip off of doom we hate People who copy games like this. Crashes at the end of every level. We wouldn't buy the full version.the doom series is a lot better.worst game ever.we can't believe someone would copy doom like this.
This Hell on earth lite game wasn't really done, this game keep crashing when we were playing and the graphic is the same as doom game. Who ever put this game on this section didn't check to see if this game have problem on crashing. Now please fix this crashing stuff on this game so we can redownload it again. We've already deleted this game because of crashing Boo!! :( not well done at all. :(.
Worthless because the pos ad. Uninstalled game.
Every time we try to finish a level, it crashes!!! Also when you save a level, and go back to it, you have to start all over from the beginning.
This game is no Nukem 3D let's admit that. Nor should it be any FPS on the App Store. It's hard enough to control your character. And fusing panning with moving is not a good solution to fixing an already broken game.
Its not worth it. The controls are terrible. The shooting button barely shoots. And theres ads. Dont waste your time getting this.
