When one of tasks to obtain rewards for charging friends locationsdont play. And therefore dont see ads. Dont play with friends and never will. Also never play Daily Challenges when Expedition game is involved.
We have pulled this game out of the reject pile several times now and we still dont know what this game is about. We just like the pretty prizes they throw at us. This game was designed for folks with ADD/ADHD as you are given a thousand and one different options to play multiple types of games, not only hidden object. Other reviewers gripe about spending real life money but Ive only done that a couple times and never more than $5. We dont remember when we began playing but according to APPLE Game Center we have reached Skillful. If you like puzzle games and seeing colorful trails of magic toys flying at you as if on a medieval acid trip, this game is for you. Im no geek but it seems there is a heavyweight request for $ with each level you achieve. Fortunately you can bypass the sexy panhandler without losing your ranking. Four stars for the nonsensical storylines and lack of instructions. Thanks.
Is it just us or did the last update drain the battery super fast.
Would be more fun if multiple popups didnt keep firing while youre trying to do something on the map. Its excessive and irritating at times. Would really be helpful to be able to tap on images that are gray shadows to get text of what it is. A gray blob could be anything and often something youve never seen on the screen is one of them. Also things with names like gat traditional hat or hamsu amulet or zinshu that you have no freaking idea what they are you have little recourse but to use a tool or buy a tool which we know is your intent. Its really infuriating though and makes us want to delete the game first. And seriously, the same amt of time to collect 10 items as 30 items when the screens are chock full? The game is fun but would be more fun without the frustrations and irritations outlined above. Update: we may now quit the game as Im seeing more Royal Match ads that notoriously run 45-75 sec eating into game time when you choose to watch a video to get extra time. This just happened to us! We quit another game because of RM ads. Just started playing this again after a long while and Im already sick of the incessant popups. Can hardly even play the game because new popup screens keep appearing. Makes us just want shut the game down.
We love this game we play no other. We love the graphics and we love the ability to maneuver around. Changing useful collections that award useful boosters such as the Golden Owl for double the experience so that it is impossible to get them anymore. When we level up, we only get the difference between our target energy and the balance of energy we had when we levelled up. They are making the events more and more difficult and bombard us with ads to try and get us to download games that we DO NOT WANT! G5 has changed the game for the benefit of the players, but we feel this is not correct. Example, the daily task today says Spend 500 coins. Well the only thing you can buy with coins are chronometers and the most economical is 10 chronometers for 90000 coins. Our coin balance needs building up so it's not worth playing the daily task today. We do enjoy when playing a daily task the rewards help increase the things we need for the 5 stars thank you for that. We have asked to change the energy back to how it used to be and also make the Golden Owl more readily available. We truly enjoy being able to maneuver when gifting we can visit and then to visiting. Its wonderful how you can maneuver around chat, gifting, visiting. Thank you very much for that. Will there ever be a search box when gifting in the collection tab? Again thank you for this great game. The colors, graphics and stories are enjoyable.
We have now defeated the Digger monster over 3 dozen times, it has the last item needed to complete a collection and it never comes up..literally! We also dislike the Treasurers Game,always the same results unless you buy more. Boring! Do like the graphics and the Cross Bow prizes mini game. UPDATE: the game updated and Ive STILL not received the needed item from the digger after defeating the digger 6 times!! Also on the Treasury section we lost about 40 red gems/crystals on that when it started as it wasnt clear we were buying more chances to open more sections. We feel we should be credited back 40 lost gems/crystals . On a positive note the Game where earning cross bows – the Ghost Mystery- to reveal items for prizes is great, strategy actually counts in that one! There is nothing enjoyable or challenging as you say in your reply about being strung along for the same item..now a total of about 48 times..yes 4 dozen times we have fought the digger and the needed item – the poisonous salt lamp – HAS NEVER COME UPCOME ON, ITS BORING! And the treasury game is a joke, rigged to almost always give the cheapest level. And Im still out approximately 40 red crystals or gems, whatever theyre called doesnt show when you click on the bank which shows that or coins. This game seems to be going downhill.
Drops play often. Wants you to spend money all the time.
Please change the monsters fighting thing back to the way it used to be. This new thing with the curtain & gems is ridiculously time consuming & certainly doesnt add anything to the playing experience. And please dont change our review to 4 stars like you did last time.
The new monster treasure vaults are annoying and a clear and obvious attempt to keep players from getting the top vault prizes.

Beware! This has been our favorite game for years but in the last year when we purchase items we get billed for extra items we never ordered nor received. Some times they have reversed the charge but not always. This should be investigated. Lease check you receipts after ordering. We probably have to find a new favorite game. Sad.
Its a great idea, but it is too stressful for someone with disabilities.
We have been playing for a long time, this Christmas round goes from 5 stars to 3. No icy patterns, the monster thing is a joke, robs rubies and for nothing, other monsters too. Change can be good but many complaints about these.
Many people do not like the stones of fate and we really wish you would either remove the task completely or lower the requirement. Getting 3 to 7 at a time to complete 4200 is way too tedious and time consuming. We love this game and December is normally a very busy month for us in real life so we were a bit late at getting this event started this month so we were very disappointed to see that the stones of fate were required to upgrade totem. That was a bad move! It used to be once you completed the investigation that the totem would upgrade. We really wish you would fix the stones of fate because it takes the fun away for a lot of people. Please reconsider the stones of fate task or atleast lower the requirements for them or increase the amount we gain when playing locations or beating monsters. This event felt like it was going to be fun and it was a huge let down to see we more likely wont have time to upgrade totem. Very disappointed and felt like a waste of time completing the collections at this point.

Ive been playing this game for YEARS. We enjoy it most of the time. We just wanted to add some input. 1st – we enjoy the mini games that are NOT match 3, there are too many of those. The occasional additions are a fun change of pace & Im especially enjoying the newer Ghost Mystery and wish it could be a permanent mini game. 2nd – we feel there are too many of the dark mode on our screen. We guess we HAVE to play them & hope the next round will be a normal ABC mode?? But it never seems to make a difference. Maybe because Ive been playing so long and am in some kind of advanced mode now?! Otherwise, we like that the scenes change monthly. It keeps the game fun.
Guys, the game is great, but something is happening. Im playing and the game thinks Im offline, Im not, other apps working fine. We restarted the game, still thinks Im not connected. Hopefully its a small glitch.
We love that its add free you rarely see that anymore but we also play this game everyday because its never boring it alway has cool quests we totally recommend.
We just started playing. It is a little slow at this point. Able to earn jewels, money and energy when we need them. Looks like this will be a fun game over all. Ads, not seen any at this point. Only at level 7, hope there are not any it would just interrupt the story line.

We like that there is a central ongoing game to play and gather the extras you will need for the monthly fun game. It is a nice perk when you are starting out that some of the extra sites that open further in the game are opened to you during that event. We like the daily challenges and the rewards. However, there is a certain level of patience needed to play if you do not want to spend any irl $$..you can play some of the mini games and other ongoing games and wait for event needs to build back up. If you dont want to use patience then you might have to spend some of your own irl $$.
While we think this game is amazing with beautiful and imaginative scenery, we are constantly frustrated by a succession of unrelated story slides popped at us that perplexingly interrupt each other so we can't click a button to Begin or Continue with a storyline/event/mission without another separate unrelated story slide popping up and completely derailing us from getting on with anything. This morning we tried to start a Mystery Note mission by clicking a button but was immediately then bombarded with three additional storylines and possible missions and finally left with a bouncing arrow pointing us to a freaking piece of pie. Come on!! Find a better way to present the events and missions that doesn't make players crazy.
When will the update for iPad be available. Had the update for the iPhone days ago. Still waiting for iPad.

In the event quests you pay to enter and when you get to collect it kicks you back to home page. Ive spent 100s of dollars and youd think one would learn. Should be Hidden Pirates because they will loot you. Too bad because a great game. When our rubies run out Im done.

Youll have accomplish the objective over 10 times before you ever get the prize. Even in winning, youve only accomplished 1/5 of the objective. This game is a career, not entertainment.
We have played for a long time, made many purchases and now we are absolutely inundated with pop up after pop up, literally one after another. We were at such a high level we were getting a couple thousand to play on when leveling up and now it dropped significantly (over 50% drop), If we hadnt paid many times for packages it would be fine but seriously you are layering in tons of ads and cutting rewards for longtime customers that HAVE paid. We got 30 minutes of free play that we earned and you interrupted it multiple times with ads so we quit and gave up that free play. So incredibly disappointing and just bad business. Shame on you G5.
Keeping ones mind thinking is what this game does. We love most of the challenges, a few are a little tough for us, but that is what helps to keep ones mind active. Memory games work the brain and keeps it from getting sluggish. We recommend this one compared to others we have tried.
We feel like the ad content has doubled recently. We get free time and spend 5 minutes waiting on ads to finish.
So now we cant accumulate points because when it goes up a level the points only go to the max, no matter how many points you still have. The other thing is being stingy with skeleton keys. We had tons of them, now all of a sudden we have to play many games to get to play games using skeleton keys. You only get 2 at the most, if you get any. Games that require skeleton keys need 11 to 13 keys, so you need to play at least 6 games, assuming youre lucky enough to have gotten 2 per game, which is rare. So, fewer points to play and you need to work harder to find skeleton keys. Im losing interest and Ive been playing this for 8 yrs or so. We guess thats a good thing. We waste waaayyy too much time on this.
We have been playing the game for years. Slowly but surely this game is becoming about money. The match games do not function reliably as described, ie making the bombs etc. The rules have changed to favor the game not the player and unfairly but we guess the developers think no one will notice? Also, when leveling up time left does not add in which really pisses us off. It used to where is the published decision that it wont anymore? And we have tried contacting the developers nothing gets fixed. It is starting to feel like a game that it is time to delete.
We have backed off playing this game as it takes to long and a ton of clicks just to play. Between buy this, try that, lets talk, and new game advertisements its a pain.
The game is a solid four stars. The HOPs are generally fair and the graphics and story, such as it is, are good. We dont even mind the attempts to get us to buy stuff, we mean, they gotta pay their bills, too. What gets us, is that they are so proud of their little event that have forced us to participate regardless of whether we want to or not.
Love playing! Love the challenges even though we do sometimes make small in app purchases.

We play this game daily and you dont win enough ruby or energy you get everything else but we feel you dont win enough energy after playing each game.

Having trouble with your ads. Our screen goes blank after we watch an ad and then expect to continue the game and nothing. Doesnt let us play but sure does take all our stuff. Very disappointing.
We love the game, but spend way too much money on this free game. It is free, but we would not get to play very far if we didnt buy rubies. It is fun though.
With latest update at least one game fails. Two bombs remain, no open cells.
Its a fun game but to get help is really hard when youre not computer savvy.
We love this game. Its so much better than always having to slide to match 3 items. Its our new go to game.
