We can now add directly to your application new paints without having to go through the whole update process. Meaning, sometimes when coming back to the game you’ll see new content to play with whereas you haven’t updated the app. This feature will improve our ability to add new levels more often because it will reduce our development time. If you regularly play to Hungry Cat Picross, we thought you might want to set the game at your own tastes… now you can change the cat and many other accessories, you can even change the whole game colorset to fit your mood. Your cat will appear in the weekly leaderboards.
Cloud Save and Tuesday Leaderboards
Now you can log in any accounts (Facebook or Twitter) or even create a Tuesday Quest one. Once connected, your progress is stored on servers and can be played from any devices. Being logged makes you eligible to the Tuesday Paint Leaderboard too, which is updated every week.
Creating an account is facultative! And yes, you still don’t need an internet connection to play!

We have been playing this game for probably a decade. We just want to say thank you, for never making the updates steer too far away from the core game. No random new gimmicks, no tournaments that force you to enter, no pay-to-win schemes – just an adorable, customizable cat that watches you play picross. And new 9-piece puzzles every Tuesday. Again, thank you.
We’ve been playing for a long time, but the new puzzles dont come out often enough for us. Waiting for 2021 puzzles, and a new fresco! Still enjoying the game, but now looking for 2022, and more frescos? Still waiting for 2022 puzzles? Please?
We love this game and play it avidly. However, it seems the devs are not caring for it. The last update was two months ago and we emailed them with an issue a few weeks ago and have yet to hear back. It’s fun, but not functioning the best anymore.
CRASHES AFTER GETTING ABOVE 50,000 POINTS!!!! FIX IT IN THE NEXT UPDATE PLEASE CUZ IM SO SAD.

We love this game and have played for years. Last weeks Tuesdays Painting is dysfunctional. In the last 2 grids as we are trying to solve them, random blocks and colors are being activated and we cannot even erase the wrong ones. So we’ve restarted it 3 times and even rebooted our phone to no avail. PLEASE PLEASE fix this!!
Our mom and we compete on who solves the Tuesday puzzle first, and she always win because we get a white screen then the application crashes :) So this hanging and crashing made us lose the challenge few times .
This is one our favorite games of all time. Whenever we finish it, we delete it and redownload it to play all the levels again. We’ve had it for years and we never get tired of it. Easily the best nonogram/picross game in the app store.
We’ve played a lot of nonograms. Most on ios arent very good, and even the good ones have huge flaws (such as anything over 15×15 being unbearable on a phone). This game is near flawless. Its core difference from typical nonograms is great and engaging, and the game is a true joy to play. Ads and monetization arent too obnoxious. Overall an incredible game. Our only nitpick is Id adore an option where if youre sliding down or across it only fills in the row or column. We have accidentally filled in about a thousand wrong squares, which is very likely what leads to most of our busted puzzles we have to restart. Otherwise a genuinely great game and experience, one of our all time favorite phone games, easily. Great work!
We love the game, but after the last update we can no longer use our Apple Pencil to fill in squares. This used to be our favorite go to time waster, but we may have to give it up until the bugs with Apple Pencil are resolved.
This is one of our favorite puzzle games. We think its a fun way to kill time and we especially love the frescoes. Unfortunately, while we enjoy playing the madness mode, it crashes all the time, and we dont get to continue when we open the app back up, so we end up wasting the tokens that let us play it :(
Our only issue is that the game has started to crash a lot when loading new madness levels, and we lose our coin. Really annoying.
Love this game, but since the most recent update you cant fill in the squares on the far right row. Also wish there were new frescoes or paintings more often.
We’ve played this game three time through and reset it time and time again. We love it! But the most recent update prevents us from using our Apple Pencil during play.

We cant believe we’ve been playing this for 10 years. Love it just as much as the first time we played it. Always go back and replay the previous year when its released. Just cant get enough. Thank you for a great app.
Absolutely love this game!!! Only thing right now, were into the first week in March and there hasnt been an update with the 2021 Tuesday season of puzzles yet. Weve done all the others and all the frescos. There isnt much to do now but wait for the weekly puzzles. Please update with 2021 season!
As the title says, we’ve been playing this game for a long time. We love the Tuesday updates and Im always excited to spot a new fresco. We wish theyd release more regular levels and make it so paint brushes arent quite so rare and difficult to get free. But we love this game and Ill probably be playing this game for a very long time to come.
We’ve been playing this game since it first launched and we love it! Quite a few bugs going on lately but hopefully theyll get fixed soon.
We love this game and have played it off and on for years. However some of the new bugs are pissing us off. One, when you complete a portion of one of the larger puzzles (frescoes or something we think) the screen will go grey in the back ground (your finished portion and the cat still dancing) but no ok or continue option. You have to close the app reopen and go back to where you were. Second is the erase function. When you click erase so often it will jump across the screen and erase large portions of what has already been filled in. Its infuriating. Please fix, we want to keep loving this game!
Love the game but the last update left us unable to open the game. We wouldnt do the update from beginning of March.
We LOVE this game but the log in bug is KILLING us! None of our progress gets saved if we leave the app – including on the Tuesday Grid. We hope it is fixed soon.
We have already missed out on one Tuesday puzzle and for we game we PAID to remove adds on, we expect better service. This bug has left us unable to even open the game in almost two weeks since the update. Even after emailing the developer directly we have not received a response. This is getting ridiculous.
We find this game very relaxing, we love it! It may be our engineering background, but somehow watching the beautiful colors reveal images just puts us in our zen.

The game has started soft-locking after we complete every puzzle. Im having to restart the app every time we finish a puzzle.
We like this app, but lately its been logging us out constantly and we have to log back in every time we open the app. If it gets fixed, Ill update our review.
We love this game and have been playing it for years! Our only issue is that it occasionally crashes whenever we play picromania :( we dont even get our mad coin back or the prize we couldve gotten for getting that far. Seems like a waste. For dev: Im on iPhone 11 ios 14.6 (but it also happened before this update)
We really enjoy this game, but recently have had an issue with picromania. We finish a board and the timer continues to run during the ad so that you come back with no time to play the next puzzle. We hope this glitch can be fixed. Thanks! Would rate 5 star if not for this.
Nice, slow paced game that you can play while listening to a podcast. Lots of ads, no way to get rid of them, but we wont quibble about that. The weekly puzzle now gives up to five madness tickets (a newish aspect where you try to rack up points by finishing timed puzzles to get in-game rewards), but if we ever do manage to get any after completing the weekly puzzle its rare, and has never been more than one. Its just kind of stingy.
Love it but please please please add an X color so we can X out the things we know and then we can replace it later.
We love this game, have played for years, but after the most recent update we can no longer sign in using our Tuesday Quest account. Hopefully its fixed soon.
We love this game and have been very happy until now. It will not let us log in. We tried to restart our phone and it deleted all our progress and took us back to the beginning. It still wont let us log in! We have sent several messages to support and have heard NOTHING from them!!
Im addicted to this game. Its undeniably fun. We upgraded and they fixed the audio problem. BUT we created a Tuesday quest account to sync our progress and we cannot log in. The buttons dont work. We cant create a new account. We cant reset our password. All non- responsive. We have been trying for days so we can transfer our tremendous progress to a new phone. Does. Not. Work. We do not have Facebook and that appears to be the only other way to sync. Whats the deal?!
Same as others, this is a huge issue cause you cant be sure if things are saved or not now. Will update score if fixed as the game itself is fine, perfect cute Picross but without being able to login our data is in jeopardy and as such Im hesitant to play and lose it.
We want to thank the developers of Hungry Cat for all the work that you do. We have been a daily player for years and we look forward to Tuesdays so we can solve the weekly puzzle. The last fresco kicked our butt. First one we ever got two stars on – we will be replaying! Thank you, again, for giving us a healthy escape (especially the last year!), making us think, and for a fantastic game!
We’ve finished the game so Im just asking when are we getting the 2020 collection added because we need it this is our favorite game so please. 2020 collection needs to be added.
As someone who plays across ios and android this is important to us. Now all we get is facebook error: login exists with different credentials despite this being the only account we have ever had.
To be honest Im 23 and we’ve been playing this game on and off since we first downloaded it sophomore year of high school to play during class. Its just difficult enough but sometimes we wish there were more paintings (I think technically we’ve probably done them all two or three times by now). TLDR: fun game! Get it!
We’ve been playing this game since middle school and we are now in our third year in college! We paid for the ad-free version and it was the best decision ever, super worth it. We always look forward to the new Tuesday puzzles because we have finished all the levels, previous Tuesday seasons (except 2020, cant wait to get those!), and frescoes! One thing we are frustrated about is that the picromania chests dont give you any coins if you already have the items. We once played a game and got over 100,000 XP and got like 10 chests but got no reward (other than the XP) because we already had all the items in the chests. Other than that, this game is perfect we love feeding the cat for XP, wish we could earn more coins though so we can keep buying the store items!!
We found this game about a year and a half ago, and we’ve finally finished every single puzzle in it, and now we dont know what to do with our life anymore? It used to be the app we opened before going to sleep, or on long car trips, and now that we dont have anymore puzzles left, our life just feels a little bit emptier. We find myself looking forward to Tuesdays just for the new boards!! What a game… Thanks devs, you really made a gem!
This is hands down the best Picross game out there. The controls are flawless, the colors are bright and unique compared to most other Picross games, and the weekly Tuesday games are fun to look forward to. Picross games are our go-to for iPhone games, so we download a LOT of them. We always come back to this one, every time.
We really enjoy playing this game but we would love to have more new levels other than the weekly Tuesday ones. We recently went back and did all the puzzles again to get all the stars. Really want to keep playing this though. Hoping to see quite a few new levels eventually!
We can only see the 2014 season, where are the others ?
When we first got this game in 2016 or 2017, this game was fun. It had little to no problems, and we are a fan of Picross games in general. But then an update came, and we thought it was fine too. We liked the update, until we figured out that they decided to add something VERY horrible to the game that killed the game. The problem is that you cant replay a puzzle unless you erase it. You used to be able to retry a puzzle, no matter what. Even if you canceled and didnt finish the painting, it wouldnt erase the painting. But now you have to erase the painting and then try to solve it again. Now, this is fine for very easy puzzles, since its very easy to memorize the pattern and where the colors go, but if you completed a hard puzzle and you wanted to retry it, then too bad! You have to erase it. And if you quit the puzzle before you finish it, then it still stays erased. HOW STUPID ARE YOU GUYS TO CHANGE SOMETHING LIKE THIS?! We would not recommend downloading this game because of this one stupid update. Unless youre fine with not replaying puzzles or erasing puzzles to actually replay them. And for you, developers of this game, if youre reading this, please, please change it back. We are not playing this game until you add the option to restart the puzzle and not erase it, like how it was when we first downloaded it. This is downright ridiculous.
We’ve been playing this for 3 yrs, at least. After last update the app has become completely unresponsive. Splash screen comes up announcing Made with Unity then moves on to the second screen which is greyed and does nothing. Accepts no input. Just hangs. Playing on older model iphone (8) with up to date iOS.
Been playing for a long time and now the game wont open.
We’ve had this game for years and we absolutely loved it but we were trying to bring up our backed up save file so we can play it on our Ipad and it asked which save would you like to keep? So we clicked our cloud save file but it deleted it instead, now we’ve lost everything Also (not that Im gonna be playing anymore lol) but we wish there were more cat/outfit/theme options and that they didnt cost so much since its pretty hard to earn a lot of fish Overall though it was a really fun and cute game and one of the few games we regularly continued to play over the years so Id still recommend it, just be careful saving it.
This bug has been going on for over a year! Every time we sign it and leave the app, it logs us out. When we sign back in, our progress isnt saved. Its so frustrating because we really do love this game. Please fix! =[
