We can now add directly to your application new paints without having to go through the whole update process. Meaning, sometimes when coming back to the game you’ll see new content to play with whereas you haven’t updated the app. This feature will improve our ability to add new levels more often because it will reduce our development time. Cloud Save and Tuesday Leaderboards
Now you can log in any accounts (Facebook or Twitter) or even create a Tuesday Quest one. Once connected, your progress is stored on servers and can be played from any devices. Being logged makes you eligible to the Tuesday Paint Leaderboard too, which is updated every week.
Creating an account is facultative! And yes, you still don’t need an internet connection to play!

Removed our old 1 star review heard back from their support and had our issue resolved.
For us, this is by far the best nonogram game on the market. We love that the puzzles use real color levels to create gorgeous pixel art, instead of the usual black-and-white gameplay followed by randomly filled colors. It really feels like youre painting the pictures and reveling something you helped create. The puzzle sizes are also perfect for the phone screen, never too overwhelming and large, but also never overly easy like many classic color nonograms if you keep the grid small. That saiddddd its been constantly crashing lately, which is really frustrating because the core game is so good. Honestly, we think the game would benefit from losing the clunky 3D cat and leaning fully into pixel art. Thats clearly where this game shines, and simplifying the visuals would likely help performance too. We say this with love: strip it down to its bones, redo the art direction, and keep it simple. The gameplay is strong enough to stand on its own. Thats what makes this game special. Maybe this is just our taste, we know other people like the cat xoxo Oh ps also let us switch the sides the numbers are on so we can choose which hand to play with.
Same as Gch37 mentioned, Im having the exact issues with the new update and the slow fill-in. Tapping isnt sufficient enough to fill in even one square and now we have to drag it, resulting in making mistakes. Ive been playing this game since right after it came out and its been so much fun but this update has been our only issue so far.
Is there a way to turn off the fade-in as you paint the colors? We have literally played this game as our go to relaxer for years, but with the new update our colors dont just appear like they used to and this new fade-in style bothers us. Also our last column on the right wont work now. Every time we click on one square, it doesnt work but if we slide down the column it does. Love your game! 5/5 stars but dont like the most recent update and didnt know how else to tell you except a review.
Knocking down our long time review by one star for the exact same issues other users have complained about. Is it under new management? Why is an app thats been perfect for many, many years suddenly having multiple issues? If the issues are resolved Ill put that fifth star back on our review.:).
Loaded into the game and everything was set to default designs. We were also no longer connected. When we went to go change our cat and theme back to what they were before the cat and theme we were using were gone. We had spent coins we earned in game on the Mother Nature cat and theme and theyre gone. We tried reconnecting and once we were connected we still didnt have them back. We closed the game and came back later and we were not connected again and they still were gone. Not sure if Im missing anymore cats and themes. Definitely not happy about losing stuff and always having to reconnect every time. Coin hints arent showing up in the puzzles either.
The game only loads up for us about 1 out of 4 times and when we are playing the entire right column is not responsive to direct taps. There is also a weird fade in that should be something we can turn off since it is majorly distracting! Ive done all of the available pictures on our old phone and am most of the way through again on our new one. There was also no update on the weekly picture and its now Tuesday.
The new color fade update is annoying, and its now almost impossible to properly select squares in the far right column. Thats on top of the previous bug, which makes the starting square of a hypothesis unselectable unless you exit the level and go back in. Five been playing this game forever, and this is the first time Ive been frustrated enough that we dont want to play.
We used to play this game constantly a few years ago. Just downloaded it again to find that its glitchy, crashes CONSTANTLY, and the squares on the right side of the screen do not register touch correctly. Whatever update caused this needs to be rolled back because this used to be the best picross game on the app store. Iphone 16 Pro btw.
Liquid Glass is bad. The transparency on filled tiles that feels like a nod to it is bad. The unresponsive painting as a result of the heavy load of transparent fills is bad. Losing our accessories was bad, but not as bad as the gameplay. The app also isnt keeping its connection to our Apple account. What your players want is more content, not gimmicky design changes that break gameplay. Please roll back the superfluous transparency and fade up on tile fills. Ill happily update our review to 5 stars.
We love playing this game. However, we think the latest update has had the game a bit laggy, especially when you fill in the color on the grid. We wish there was a way to turn it off. There also seems to be a glitch where some boxes on the right side cant be filled in.
Ive played this game for years, and love it! There seems to be a new change im not too fond of, where the painted tiles will be desaturated for a second or too after being put down, but other than that, one of our favorites of all time.
Since the update we cant tap any cells on the entire right side column. Nothing happens when we tap. We can swipe multiple and it works but then it fills in other cells we dont want and have to erase. Was working perfectly fine before the update.
Ive been playing this app for about a decade now. This most recent update made us want to quit. The gradual fade in effect of filling a square actually causes input delay and lag. In addition, since the update there has been increased unresponsive to touch, requiring more time held or repeated attempts before touch is recognized. Im on a new iPhone 17 and this isnt a technological complex game, so its clear the recent updates introduced some bugs.
We have had Hungry Cat Nonogram since 2017 and still play it, almost 9 years later. We love that its still being updated with daily puzzles. Unfortunately, this last update seems to have changed the way the squares fill in and the color sort of fades in over the course of a second or two. This creates a sort of lag time which makes it difficult to fill in the squares correctly. It also makes us think Ive chosen the wrong color by mistake. Also in this update, Im finding squares on the very right edge of our screen dont want to register when we try to fill them in as easily as they used to. Finally, yesterday we had a puzzle that clearly had a square that was the same color as the background, as though it hadnt been filled in, but the puzzle registered it as being filled in. We tried to put a color on it but is stayed empty. We even deleted the row, thinking we had made a mistake somewhere, but nope. The game registered it as being filled in even though it was empty to us. Please, please, please revert back to the way the squares filled in completely and immediately and get rid of this lag effect and we will happily put our review at 5 starts because we love it.
We have always LOVED this game. Ive lost it many times and redownloaded it and started all over again. Our only complaint is we need more levels, Ive completed all of them so we have to wait every week to get a new level.
We love this game, but its been randomly freezing since the new iPhone update. Please fix.
Almost every time we play, the game glitches where one cell will not let us fill it no mattrr what and we have to start over. We love the game, but this is so frustrating and annoying.
Works great on iPad. Multiple color blindness options. We have had this game since the beginning. We even reset our account once to play from the start. No other nonogram game matches the consistency, giant puzzle library, screen fit, in-game options, etc. There are no ads and no timers (except if you choose to play a mini game). You can customize your background colors and your cat, including costumes. We hope that more people will ignore old ratings and give it a try.
We love this game, we play every week for the Tuesday weekly paintings and have completed all regular levels as well as all fresces BUT, Ive been having this bug for like 1-2 years where we cannot access the Tuesday weekly levels from past years. This is the only sliver of completion we have left to do but, whenever we click on the button, Im greeted by an infinitely loading blank screen (not like a white screen, the hud is there but there is nothing displayed in the middle of the screen where there should be all the levels arranged by year). Please fix this, we still love this game after like 6 or 7 years and we think it speaks volumes when the only thing Im complaining about is us wanting to have access to more levels and not being able to access them.
We play a lot of monograms, but this is by far our favorite. There are lots and lots of puzzles, with a new one every week. The 15×10 format fits well on our phone, we love the colors, plus there are cats.
Ive been playing for a long time, but the new puzzles dont come out often enough for us. Now waiting for 2023! And how about a new fresco? Still waiting!!! Now waiting for 2024.
We love this app and have for years but for the last month or so we cannot log in using our apple sign-in. It will load everything perfect and when we go into the app, which logs us out every time.. We go to the 'you are not connected' bar to sign in. It will load it up and let us click on it but will bring us right back to that first screen to pick which way to sign in. We get nervous to do too much in case it won't save and we miss playing as much as we were.
We love this game ive had it for years and it works fine on our phone but its all zoomed in and unplayable on our ipad.

One of our favorite games, we just wish the rewards were higher per puzzle. Its pretty much impossible to earn thousands of coins before the shop resets every week.
This is a pretty fun game and would definitely give this game a higher rating but theres something wrong with level 2 puzzles 38 we cant get past it because theres something wrong with the way the colors are laid out to many color are in the same column we think something is mixed up.
We loaded this years and years ago its the only one we havent deleted, and we always make sure to do the Tuesday puzzle. Sometime, also a long time ago, we purchased no ads, so we cant speak to that. But darned if this isnt a lovely game.
Ive been playing this game for years at this point and figured it was time to bless the developer with a glorious review. This game has so much content its kind of mind boggling. Weekly updates with a new puzzle every Tuesday, gigantic nonogram murals, dozens of stages, challenge modes, cosmetics for your cat mascot. We could go on and on. If you like puzzle games, especially nonograms, you will LOVE the beautiful colors and addictive gameplay. There are some ads, but theyre not too intrusive or excessive. This developer is firing on all cylinders at an obsessively consistent rate and we are going to ride the train until the last stop. Please join us.
You should check on whoever designed the new app icon. We think they may be seriously unwell. It looks like the label on generic canned corn at a questionable grocery store and cheapens an otherwise great game.
We recently switched to a new phone and lost all our progress. We dont understand why because Ive swapped phones before and still had all our progress. This swap and loss happened after the latest update to the game. We have the Hungry Cat Mahjong game and that progress transferred. Im mad and disheartened. We dont even know if we want to bother replaying it. All the limited edition cats we earned, all gone. Everything is gone. We were able to get everything back by going to our old phone and signing in there and then signing in on our new phone. The only issue now is this annoying star that pops up frequently.
Ive been playing this game for years but for some reason no matter what we do we cant access all the Tuesday Paintings. Ive thoroughly enjoyed it if it wasnt for this particular reason.
Ive attempted the Madness games four different times over the last few weeks. We can get about 7 or 8 levels in with the load screen saying something about the next game its loading but whenever it does the splash screen saying Generating Level it crashes and we lose all our hard work.
We have been playing this game for probably a decade. We just want to say thank you, for never making the updates steer too far away from the core game. No random new gimmicks, no tournaments that force you to enter, no pay-to-win schemes – just an adorable, customizable cat that watches you play picross. And new 9-piece puzzles every Tuesday. Ive been playing for a long time, but the new puzzles dont come out often enough for us. Waiting for 2021 puzzles, and a new fresco! Still enjoying the game, but now looking for 2022, and more frescos? Still waiting for 2022 puzzles? Please.
We love this game and play it avidly. However, it seems the devs are not caring for it. The last update was two months ago and we emailed them with an issue a few weeks ago and have yet to hear back. It's fun, but not functioning the best anymore.
CRASHES AFTER GETTING ABOVE 50,000 POINTS!!!! FIX IT IN THE NEXT UPDATE PLEASE CUZ IM SO SAD.

Love this game. Wouldve given it 5 stars but the limiting of puzzles available in offline mode is irritating.
The new grid pattern on the puzzles makes it harder to do them and we cant find a way to turn it off. We tried the FAQ in the app but nothing happens when you click it. How do we get rid of the grid.
Why is there still no ability to play previous Tuesday paintings? It just goes to a blank screen and sits there forever.
Its usually a really fun game. You solve puzzles to get coins to play a bonus game. Except its designed horribly and is glitchy. Its a timed game that you try to last as long as possible and earn more points. BUT the glitchy pause button destroys game play bc its right next to the back button. You NEED the back button, bc the eraser glitches and you are unable to use the color puzzle pieces and move forward. Its just you cursing as the timer counts down and no buttons are working. If you press the glitchy pause button, it stops all puzzle play. Just omit it!! You have to force-reset the game and you lose your coin/chance to play. You can earn maybe 7 per week and half of them are wasted due to this poorly designed game controls. ALSO, in between levels, theres a back screen button that takes you back to the menu and you lose your coin to process any further. WHY IS THIS HERE?!!! Ive already contacted the company via email. Now we wait for resolution. This is actually a better version of most Nonograms available and you collect cats.
Need to update and add more games, please.
We love this game and have played for years. Last weeks Tuesdays Painting is dysfunctional. In the last 2 grids as we are trying to solve them, random blocks and colors are being activated and we cannot even erase the wrong ones. So Ive restarted it 3 times and even rebooted our phone to no avail. PLEASE PLEASE fix this.
Our mom and we compete on who solves the Tuesday puzzle first, and she always win because we get a white screen then the application crashes :) So this hanging and crashing made us lose the challenge few times.
Ive played a lot of nonograms. Most on ios arent very good, and even the good ones have huge flaws (such as anything over 15×15 being unbearable on a phone). This game is near flawless. Its core difference from typical nonograms is great and engaging, and the game is a true joy to play. Ads and monetization arent too obnoxious. Overall an incredible game. Our only nitpick is Id adore an option where if youre sliding down or across it only fills in the row or column. We have accidentally filled in about a thousand wrong squares, which is very likely what leads to most of our busted puzzles we have to restart. Otherwise a genuinely great game and experience, one of our all time favorite phone games, easily. Great work.
This is one our favorite games of all time. Whenever we finish it, we delete it and redownload it to play all the levels again. Ive had it for years and we never get tired of it. Easily the best nonogram/picross game in the app store.
This is one of our favorite puzzle games. We think its a fun way to kill time and we especially love the frescoes. Unfortunately, while we enjoy playing the madness mode, it crashes all the time, and we dont get to continue when we open the app back up, so we end up wasting the tokens that let us play it :(.
Our only issue is that the game has started to crash a lot when loading new madness levels, and we lose our coin. Really annoying.
