A Glimpse into Indie Wrestler
Indie Wrestler is a tap based mobile game; made by wrestling fans for wrestling fans. The idea behind it is pretty simple – we wanted to give you the opportunity to create a character and take them to the top of the wrestling world.
How do you do that? By getting yourself over. Have great matches, cut promos and win titles. You get to train your wrestler, work for different promotions, upgrade your gear and even react to online gossip, rumours and innuendo. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s truly a unique game that hasn’t been developed for the wrestling scene before.
The ultimate goal of the game is to make it to the biggest promotion in the game and become their world champion. And then test your long term drawing power out to see how long you can stay on top for.

This is definitely the best mobile wrestling game out today,its true to real life because you rank up and move up and it never gets boring,I highly recommend this game.
We love this game it amazing its like being on the actual indies and having to compete but the one issue we have is every time we win the 1v1 championship online it breaks then we have to wait a whole week to win the belt again we thought it would just happen once but it happen twice is this just an error in the games code or is it ment to be this way? But other than that we really injoy this game.
You have a decent product. We dont mind paying for a game, nor do we mind ads giving small boosts but we uninstalled as soon as an ad popped up without being requested. The game is good but worthless without this being fixed.
We love the large options of independent promotions and wrestlers you get to choose from. The three mini games are good too though Id like to see a few more. Promo system and feud system is great. The contract system is okay, a little tricky at times, but its ok. In our opinion, this game has potential to grow and be even more great. The only issues we have is that sometimes advancing to the next day freezes the game and we have to close and reopen. Also some promotions randomly stop booking us and Im stuck under contract with that promotion. For example, we have 1 date left with ASW and our relationship is at 25 because they wont book us, release us, or extend our contract so Im softlocked there. Also it is indeed very hard to get higher up the cards as you grow. We do wish there was a progression meter so we can know how much we gotta work to achieve the next tier. Regardless, those things dont affect our rating for this game. 5 stars for sure. Id love to see more match variety like triple threats and four ways. We see several promotions have tag teams and stables with their team names over certain wrestlers names. Id love to see tag team matches added with more tag teams in promotions, tag title belts and the ability to form a team with someone and go after it.
Played this game on and off and while we enjoy it for minutes at a time, its no Total Extreme Wrestling. Our biggest grip is having to buy contracts to get contracts to have matches with promotions. It seems counter intuitive to the whole process. Basically have to buy your way into the promotion. Sure you can grind you way but that takes a long time and its not fun enough to hold our attention long term.
The game will not start. The only time we managed to get past the opening screen, it froze again while we were entering our name. Literally unplayable on an iPhone XS Max.
We This game is rly fun but after passing level ten gets a bit boring and repeat we’ve of what there saying but it is still rly and game play is fun.
Its confusing to an extent. We got the Lower Card contract and everytime we try to talk to a promoter, they offer us Opener instead of Lower Card. We dont know what to do.
Its a really fun game until we reached the point where we cant resign any contracts because of insufficient amount of matches? We should be able to accept a companys contract when its offered to us, instead of the developers determining that its insufficient. If thats the case, the contract shouldnt be offered in the first place, because now we keep ruining our relationships with the promoters.
Its fun, but theres too much to lose from doing interviews in days off and nothing to gain. Also, it seems like we spend more time hitting next day and not actually doing anything.
Would rather pay 5-10 bucks for no ads and no premium currency. Cannot use airplane mode to dodge ads.

Great game hands-down we love it we absolutely love it we hope one day you can make a part two of this but this game is phenomenal it has all the promotions are like its awesome and we like how theres the media park house somewhere these Youtubers and stuff like that are actually real Channels its freaking awesome great job.
When we first downloaded the game we had problems with being able to finish a single match. The support team responded to our problem quickly and once we deleted and redownloaded the game we had no problems. Such an amazing concept of a game. Thank you!!!
Its a good game but how do we increase our attributes.
Love the game but it gets very boring after you hit level 10. We dont know what you can add to make the experience more more but that would be nice.

We are currently playing on an IPhone 7 with the latest update. We have been playing for only two days and we absolutely love the game. The downsides of the game comes down to ads and making purchases. Every time and ad plays it doesnt even get through the whole video or allow us to suspend the ad before the game crashes and we have to restart from where we were at. We tried making a purchase to cancel ads but when we clicked on it nothing came up so we tried clicking on the other options and they werent working either. We hope in the next update this problem is fixed as we dont plan on giving up on the game any time soon.
We need an autosim feature so we dont have to many late everyday between events with no training or any other way to interact with the game in a meaningful way. The ads occur every week regardless of if you partake in any action that week.

Great game & exactly what we were looking for when it comes to wrestle manager game. As an American Fan we love seeing the different NA leagues and cant wait to join Paradigm to fight Jody & Myron!! Contract mechanics are our main complaint. It isnt clear how many contracts a promoter wants to sign you. We have 45+ contracts and the lvl 2 promoter wont book us cuz insufficient dates. The games website has this twice in the FAQ and nether clarify how many contracts. Leading us to just keep asking every time we get new contracts, then having to say no to a great deal which pisses off the Promoter. Other ppl complain about the 3 mini games. We think theyre solid but just need a couple more for variation. The promo mechanics are fun & id love to see new phrases added! Def has a ways to go, but for a market almost untouched this game is solid!

App has a lot of potential, but thats all. We agree with most people when we say the game is repetitive and gets boring fast. Here are some of the things that need to be improved to make this a better game (these are the ones that really grind our gears: Make face/ heel/ tweeter matter. This should be reflected in the after match feedback, how the match goes, and the response to the messages from outlets. The matches need to tell a story. Theyre not only receptive, but they random. A match shouldnt start with commentary about how the opponents are tired from a long battle when the match has literally just started. The level system needs to be revamped. It doesnt make sense that your player stats go back to their original value every time your level increases. Needs a real ranking system. The player should be able to challenge for the title if theyre over, and be able to advance if they do well in matches. THE MATCH QUALITY SHOULD MATTER. Here are some other suggestions: Make it possible for wrestlers to interact with each other – especially during fueds. The compliment after the match just doesnt cut it. Make it possible to be in a tag team. Theres some wrestlers on rosters that says their in tag teams, but we never see them on the card, theres no championship, and its ridiculous that this was missed. Create meaningful storylines for the rivalries. Without it, its just repetitive and boring. Also would be great to have more customization options, but this isnt too important. Theres a lot of room for improvement, and hopefully the developers can get on this ASAP. The app is still early in its development, but it really needs to take the players that are playing this game opinions and suggestions for improvement seriously, because it could be a really fun game.

To those out there looking for a realistic road to success in the lifestyle of a professional wrestler this game is the game for you! Not only can it be difficult with keeping up the gas mileage you have to travel to wrestling shows and then trying to get booked by talking to promotions for a contract, then you got the grind of trying to be alert when it comes to the timing in each match and memorization skills for promos Not to mention the chances you receive from interviews online can either effect you or not This game sets off as a very interesting and great game for all wrestling fans to enjoy that features many indie wrestlers that are looking to make a name for themselves in real life just as you are in the game, 10/10 in our books!

Fun game but we agree with another review, too hard to truly level up after you reach level 10. Would love to see the addition of females added as well.
When we click on the app the game loads half way then it crashes.
If youre a wrestling fan, youll enjoy this game. It has a solid foundation, there is so much they can do to expand this game like have your wrestler keep their stats instead of resetting each level up, forming alliances, tag teams, weekly rankings within each promotion. It gets repetitive after awhile, but its addicting and we look forward to the future.
The game has been entertaining, and we do appreciate how much it goes into the behind the scenes of wrestling. That being said though, it has gotten really hard to level up after level 10.
We were really enjoying the game until we bought a new outfit and game froze and made us start from scratch.
Been following this game online since it was announced, and boy we were not let down. Game is easy to get the hang of but very detailed oriented. Awesome game for wrestling lovers out there … 5 outta 5 stars!
