We played the heck out of the first Iron Marines game, and we can already tell Ill be doing the same thing with this one. These are such fun little games. Theres a great selection of units for you to choose from, and the heroes so far are cool. Scenarios are interesting. And the artwork and animations are beautiful. Great fun.

We have been playing these guys games for years since kingdom rush 1. Im astonished at the spirit that these friends hold. We love these games, and we hope they never get sued, by the jaeers of existence, Long beards ALWAYS fight, and with a stone number system of movement, a wizard is never late. Thank you brave keepers of serenity of our forests.

Not even a huge fan of RTS games but this one hooked us. Good variety to troops/heroes and lots of mission content for $3. Havent purchased the extra heroes or units yet, but probably will eventually to give us an excuse to keep playing. Great value for the base game or extras.
Absolutely amazing game Imm barely three stages in but can see and feel the HUGE differences and decisions the devs have made to improve and revise upon the first IronMarines. Just big steps here. Ironhide rules. They are all love, and it shows.

While not quite as perfect as the original, this is a distinctively fun sequel, with good replayability. The heros are distinctive and excellently balanced, and the free elements are enough to be able to complete the game at all levels. Seriously fun and entertaining game.

Good game and nice graphics, but needs a longer storyline and more defense modes to be able to play over and over again rather than upgrading the game's difficulty and adding more new characters. We think people will happily pay more for things that are worth it.
We have all of this developers games and all have been great . Legends wasnt very good but anyways generally good. This game is the same loss yourself for a while and enjoy the ride.
For old people like us who remember real time strategy games its nice to see this in development. Its a far cry from red alert or generals, but it does scratch the itch.

Well, the game so far does seem to be satisfying to play on. If there were more than two prospectors in the game per etherium pump, it would be significantly better. The reason this is being said is because of screen time and the basic features that this game gives for those who dont want to buy a pack for heroes and troops. Now on another case, all thanks to customer support, we finally managed to sync our progress to another device. And truly we appreciate the feedback.
Cant say enough positive things about this companys apps – we have been playing Iron Marines and Kingdom Rush games for a decade now and they are the best. Thankful that there are still companies out there that care about their customers in-game experience.
We played kingdom rush back when it was one of the highest rated flash games on Kongregate. Im excited the devs are still doing what they do, and making quality games. We never pay for games on the app store, but Im happy to give them our money on account of all the hours of fun they gave us for free. This game is a cool rts with a spin of being able to choose three units from any one unit produced. We havent finished the campaign, but the special missions are one off missions that will spawn on levels youve completed. Its not too challenging, but enough to not be ez-pz. It has all the detail on the levels and units that Ive grown to love, easter eggs, and self-aware humor that give a charm you never really find in games anymore. Its a game for gamers, made by gamers. Id give it 30 stars if we could, supermario style.

The Kingdom Rush series, while being creative and fun, is also good because of how simple and straightforward it is. They will forever be some of our favorite games. But Iron Marines (original and Invasion) takes the creative minds at Ironhide and expands it to new heights. The open-world format is a brilliant addition to the high quality strategy games Ironhide is known for, and the fact that you can swap certain units out for other units of their type to adapt your strategy on the fly makes it even MORE enjoyable, and less punishing. There are so many combinations at your disposal, with far more main campaign levels seen in any of the KR games, awesome world and character design, and engaging multi-dimensional gameplay with more layers than in the KR games. Its no surprise why fans were so eager to get a sequel to the original Iron Marines.
It needs more free heroes though.
Any game made by this company is as good as it gets for mobile gaming. There is pay for better players, it's up to you nothing is really free anymore and they do make it more fun.
The new unit options, the various planets for the special missions, and the expanded missions are great additions to the original Iron Marines formula. Great update.
They might take their sweet time on producing games but they come out incredibly well.

Been playing ironhide games for a long time, u know they never let u down. Sure its not AAA games on computer or ps, but the quality of the game is just amazing, so fun and entertaining. For 2 dollars thats like ten hours of game play at least , which is totally worth its money. We would still play if its like 10 bucks.
Go buy all the Kingdom Rush games, they are fantastic tower defense games. We played them all and graduated to Iron Marines before transitioning to Iron Marine Invasion we feel like these games are good value, loads of fun and the kind of games you can play again and again. We enjoy playing these games during our subway commute where we dont have an internet connection.

The game is pretty fun, and it's far more advanced that the original iron marines we'd say it's worth $2.99 for the game, and gives wayyy more detail on characters, heroes and more.
Most people should be aware of the great series Kingdom Rush and with Iron Marines and now Iron Marines Invasion showing that this game studio just makes amazing, fun, and entertaining games continuing to support them is easy when these games are all so good.

Something like a cross between Warcraft 2 and the earlier great Kingdom Rush games, this is a very entertaining game with many side quest, and subtle elements to tactics and unit interactions. Tons of replayabilty as you can try different units and heroes (costs money which, in our humble opinion, the game company deserves). Congrats to Ironhide Games for continuing to make some of the best mobile games in the world.
Ive played all the Kingdom Rush games and loved them all. This one is more similar to StarCraft style of play. The cartoony art style of it keeps things light. 3 heroes are available for the base game. As well as 5 squads. We would gladly pay an extra $7-$12 for the rest of the heroes and characters, but theres absolutely no way Id pay $28 for them. The gameplay is very solid and smooth. However the difficulty teeters between ridiculously easy and ridiculously hard. Overall one of the best games and game creators for more than casual gamers.
Game is as good as it gets. Needs a little tutorial, but fun learning curve.
