Devs, please put the number of turns and the items found back at the top of the screen. This little tiny side box is terrible and how does one see the collection items acquired? The side box is too small and its annoying to have to try to squint to make out the icons. Just put it back.
We really enjoy playing this game, but we lose so much its depressing and we feel stupid. We consider paying to play games gambling, so if we were willing to buy extras to win, Id be at the online casino instead! Sometimes we have to play the same game 25+ times to clear the level. Heres some tips if youre a depressed loser like us: If youve got 3 moves left and 27 objects to clear, just close the game and restart. Its too depressing when the game shames you 3 times for losing. We also restart the game when characters interrupt our playing with some story that we dont care about. Dont bother with the races or trading ships because if you dont pay for extras, youll just lose. Its a fun game but also frustrating because its pay to win. Good luck.
The new update has made it harder for the union to reach the goal. Our union has lost 2 members this past week. They going to other games. Not fun any more.
What good are they if they cannot be used to buy anything except when you finish a new building, a couple of talismans and a few monster things.
With this latest update, yesterday we collected the free jewels for watching videos, for the first time in over a week! Today, theres no way to collect jewels. What is going on with this game? Update: 11/4/2025 There are no free jewels to collect with the latest version. Before you could collect 4 crystals/jewels every 12 hours. So disappointed! Dont bother playing this game. Clearly, they dont know what they are doing or arent communicating these changes.
Why did you remove the Greek and Latin from the game? Why did you take away the ability to atleast purchase some tools in the shop with coins? Why continually degrade the game? We spent money happily on this game bc we loved the Greek and Latin and now we are sorry to say we will be quitting as well as everyone in our Latin and Greek classes. There is a huge following of this game among us academics and now we will sadly have to move on. Please bring it back, we really would like to continue spending time and money on a game that supports classical studies. Professors were recommending this game! Thank you.
We went to buy some tools and the new prices are massively inflated. We like to get the extra turns. Ten extra turn tools cost 28 rubies yesterday and is now 40 rubies !!! Ten hammers went from 21 rubies to 30 overnight. And the coins are now virtually useless. The one tool that could be purchased with coins now also requires rubies. So, about the only use for coins will be unlocking the one new location monthly. Bring back the old prices! Please, make it possible to buy the whirlwind tool with coins once again. That would be helpful. Also, the gecko nets are virtually useless and the most frequently given tool. We have hundreds! It would be nice to be able to trade them for something useful. Ill trade 50 gecko nets for one hammer.
This game used to be fun but now its just annoying – the game has lots of bugs and the newer buildings are so hard that you need to use tools, which cost money, to finish the level or replay the same level 30 – 50 times. They just dramatically hiked the cost of tools. How it works: players join a union of 30 players. There are regular buildings, a special monthly event building and monsters to slay. Once a week there is a union event where union members try to collect 4,000 points together to get prizes. The problem is routinely one or more of our union members are not counted in the event – leaving those poor members out of the event and prizes and making it harder for the rest of the union to reach the goal. Now they have added a treasure hunt, where unions compete directly against each other for points and prizes. To finish these events in the time allotted means having to use tools which you pay for. With the increased cost of tools, its no longer feasible for us to play. Only the monthly event and monsters are easy enough to play without tools but to get tokens to play the monthly event, you must finish levels in regular buildings. As we said the newer regular buildings are so difficult that to finish games in a timely fashion, you must use tools and they hiked the price of the tools drastically. Its not enjoyable enough to spend money on it anymore. Dont bother to start.
There has always been an option to turn off sound effects and music; you have finally given us an option to turn off vibrations as well. We have, as a result, broken our years-long restriction against buying crystals or bonuses. Thank you! (Finally.).
What happened to the ability of get free points.
AB replied us yesterday saying no video for all players. But many of our friends can get 14 crystals every 12 hours watching free video adds. We purchased one time now free adds are all gone for good. That seems very unfair to us. Many people gets and we dont. How could we get free video adds back? Please restore free videos like many of our friends have we cant afford to buy every time. Thank you.
We love the game! But Ive been waiting for days to get the latest update and our Team has already finished playing the newest event. You need to fix the game so everyone gets updates at the same time.
Every month we are told to update the game to move on to the next event or events – and the updates are NEVER available when the new event starts – updates usually show up several days laterthe developers know about this problem but dont seem to plan ahead for the following month. Very frustrating.
We do not like the new crystal payment system at the end of the game. If you are going to continue with the progressive increase system, we dont think we will play your game anymore.
Why did boots disappear from the shop.
HATE, HATE, HATE THE ADS THAT POP UP. They make you watch the same exact ad three times before getting to the close button. Even then, you have to stare at a business icon for 18-20 seconds to be able to close that, AND THEN you have to look at ANOTHER ICON FOR 5 MORE before actually getting the reward that was supposed to come after watching.
We like the game but too many kinks.
This little game has a nice story line to follow and a very nice look. Enjoyable and we like having a purpose to the match 3 game type.
Since the last 3 updates, nothing but problems! Keeps telling us we are offline and need to connect, when indeed, we are connected. Screen freezes up causing the need to close out the game or it simply crashes.
We dont appreciate getting timed ads when we have won timed tools and 15 etc minutes of free time. Could you do something different so that this doesnt happen so often.
When playing the new spice shop with the lava challenge it keeps freezing up on us when we win. It has done it 3 times now resulting in us having to completely close out. When we go back in it treats it as a loss with us losing energy and any items/jewels used, losing the lava challenge, and having to completely close the level again. It is a huge bummer. The newest features seemed like they would be super fun, but it is pretty glitchy.

This game is very addicting not all levels are the same theres vases , gems,feathers, kittens there is also battles.
We like playing this game but we have tried several times to get the update. No luck as of now.
Like these episodes, do not like the attempt to make us join a group. This is a review! Harry. We do not like that we earned symbols to fight the monsters, and they never appear. Not fair.
Good matching game, but some so ridiculously difficult that not fun. Sometimes gives rewards, sometimes not. We quit many times due to frustration, but other times relaxing.
Ive played this game for years. Have accumulated many rewards. Noticed big change in the past couple days. Where before it was free form, now when we click to play, it wants us to pay with certain number of our stashed rewards. Our thoughts are they want us use them all up then Ill be forced to actually pay $$ for continued play. Just our opinion. However, we will say that if we have to continue to use our rewards to play, Ill use them all up then just delete the game. We wont ever pay $$. Looks to us that its now a Free game if you have enough rewards to play with. Oh well. Was fun while it lasted.

When you are collecting free rubies for extra gains play very often the run on a loop and wont let you out. We have been playing this game for year now and gardenscapes wont let you close the page so can move on away from them.
Need better directions on using shortcuts.
This game gets very expensive quick. You are awarded coins but dont use them for anything.you have to use your credit card to buy the jewels. Would be more fun if you could use the coins on the game that you are awarded.
Great game – can play on and on without making any purchases. Levels have a learning curve. If you fail, replay! You can pass without buying anything.

What happened? Installed the update and we lost ALL of our progress because of this update. We just spent $50 on rubies and everything is gone.
The game keeps freezing. It will not launch a location on the map. Also, the race will not let you exit. You have to select a ship that wants 50 coins. Then it says play. Im on an iPhone.
This game can be fun, but theres no explanation how to use the rewards of the tools.

This game is our go to but this afternoon we went to update and it doesnt show the update button we also tried to do it manually and nothing so we dont know what to do.
We like this game a lot but Im frustrated by the delayed updates for iPad. Even though a new event started 2 days ago, the update isnt available in the Apple Store. This has happened multiple times in the past few months.
App Store said Jewels of Rome would update tonight at 8:00pm. It is now 10:08 and it will note update. Same thing happens with Rome every single time. The App Store also says Happening Now. No, it is not happening now for IOS users. When will the Rome team get it together and update accordingly to schedule? Please dont tell us you have no control over what the App Store says. Ive heard that before. Looking forward to your reply; better yet, looking forward to the actual update as promised.
