Ive been playing it nonstop for 14 years. Regardless of some bugs and up and downs in game support, the game is nicely addictive. Be prepared to lose your account / investment $$$ anytime, the developper can easily wipe you out for different reasons.
Its addicting once you get used to its format.
We have been playing this game now for 14 years off and on was originally in crackdown till the osw with black hand then found our self in mercs legion until devs created a problem in game of clan hoppers. Every even is basically driven by hopping. We really wish they would fix this and make this go back to being a clan based game. Make the events worthwhile being loyal to a clan. It would bring back so many people. Honestly should give this 3 stars but Im having faith that you guys will fix this. KaW will forever have a place in our heart. Please never disband it.

We recently jumped back into playing this game after a many year hiatus and we were happy to see some meaningful changes. However, it seems those meaningful changes are no longer happening with any haste by the developers and the community has been incredibly vocal about that on this games forum. In fact, under every single update the developers have posted since we returned have asked for new content. Unfortunately, we have not seen a single response from the developers. We think we are nearing the end of our journey with this game as we too am getting to the point where the content is stale. Running the same 2-3 epic battles for 6 months now is not exactly the type of content that keeps people engaged. We think this stale feeling is amplified when you see the developers actively ignoring dozens of comments asking for the same changes. That being said, the core function of the game is still fun! Whats left of this community is very active and friendly. We just wished the developers played a more active role in developing and interacting with the community.
As some one who has played this tap tap game for over ten years we can say its good for what it is. Its relatively easy to play. Our one major gripe is the inability to see a history of who hired your allies. Thats a double sided coin we understand. It pops up in your recent news history and if youre in an active clan its gone very quickly. You do your tap tapping & close the game, come back later & your down several allies. People will always complain about pay to win games so we wont waste our time complaining because its not a game you can win. We will say once youve completed all the new player quests, there is no way to earn Nobility in the game. The earn free nobility tasks found in the marketplace are horrible in our opinion. Im happy this option was explored, but several times Ive not gotten the Nobility & theres no way to do anything about it. The majority of the tasks we saw involved spending money on other websites & doing never ending surveys.
Players that are many times larger than you in stats can attack you day and night. You are hopeless to win any action against them. Also, the wandering villager ruins your battles multiple times when you do spy action to players you should be winning against. Theres no point. Delete this game. Download something else. A Thinking Ape doesnt have a clue.

The last time we reviewed this game a couple years ago, we went into long detail about how the game is catered to the big spenders/top players and how it is not a new-player-friendly game. We still stand by this but at the time we wrote, the game was stagnating and seemingly had no future. While we still worry about the games ability to attract and retain new players, we can see that they have tried to bring meaningful change. We dont know what internal changes have been made at ATA but they have been good and its been benefitting this game bringing more of what the players want back. Our review remains 4 stars but it is worth nothing our previous 4-star review was more so upheld by its 5 star history with us. It was a pity 4 because. This time around its a solid 4 star review. Keep doing what youre doing, ATA, your work doesnt go unnoticed.
Redownloaded app after not playing since 2014 to find that our kingdom had been deleted. Our account has the 10-year award as proof that we had a kingdom – maybe its still out there, somewhere – but nobody can assist with recovering the old username.
We like the game its pretty good.
Been playing this game for 12 years its been fun and entertaining. But most importantly its become a game where you make family we have met so many great people and dear friends The game has become one of the best games to date excited to see what more the creators come up with.

Im enjoying the game a bit more lately. It feels like they are finally trying to spice the game up, with small but meaningful changes. Keep them coming.
Its been 12 yrs addicting but frustrating.
Only way to stay competitive is to spend $100 a month. If you can afford it its a great game.
The game has been around for a good minute. However the newest update is bugged on iOS. Every 5 minutes we receive a pop up to rate the gam. The legends are always having us click on them again every time we load the app up. (Even after reinstalling, for those it may concern). Clan wars are back, and New promo codes and such for another game. Along with in game EB promos. However the clan glitch that players encounter hasnt been fixed. A glitch in which players have to leave and rejoin the clan to do actions. Fix before you add.
Games amazing but the pay to play is absolutely insane!! You get boxes from EBs but they want you to pay to open them! They are money hungry and want you to spend as much money as possible.
One thing we do appreciate is how swiftly they address hate speech. This is a huge difference from their beginnings.
Ive been playing for 12 years now. The game is relaxing and can be fun but to buy anything from the store is INSANELY expensive. Just to play NK cost about $60! Ive decided no more money is going into the game until prices level out.
If we're being honest the game takes a long time to get good at. But its really a pay to win game Every time you log on you get a deal thats supposedly a better deal than the one you gave us three hours ago And as a free account we think its hard to log on every hour and click a repeat action button 75 times You should add a auto clicker so you can do something like make a sandwich or doing some cleaning Thank You -@.
Usually contacting support is very frustrating. They dont understand the complaint and wont look at the screenshots. They say things like we dont see anything wrong or it may be your device or it works for everyone else we think they just dont want to be bothered so they say anything to shut you up.
We love the actual game and the people, the main issue we have is with the extreme bias towards certain players while many other players get special treatment. Theres a ton of cheating that goes on and certain players get away with a ton while other players have extreme action taken against them for so much less. Honestly being so much real money is spent on the game and with no equal treatment, Im pretty sure theyre liable to be sued. Some of the devs are great, but theres definitely a few on the team who are breaking consumer protection laws and putting the company at risk of a huge lawsuit. Mark our words if they dont fix their unequal play itll happen.

Ive played kaw since 2010, Ive met many many friends and even met some in real life. When the game first started it was an addictive war game. But now its just a tap tap game to line the devs pockets. The devs have gotten greedy, theyve taken away the best parts of the game. They made it impossible to grow without spending a lot of money. It used to be clans against clans but in order to grow now you have to hop from EB to EB, theres no clan loyalty any longer and thats where friendships were made.
Been playing kaw since 2011 and love the strategy/war based system. Game takes a lot of grinding but the community within is very helpful. Worth taking the time to learn everything kaw has to offer.
Over all still a good game and lots of help growing our kingdom with the events..but the only furniture that drops for the most part is a wall or rug never pets or chairs or anything that makes a difference in defense and attack.
Title speaks for itself but Ill go into more detail here. Ive played this game for about 12 years now and have seen all the ebbs and flows of this game over the years and have followed closely how the game is maintained and operated. While we commend the current dev team for making an effort to bring new things in, overall, the game is way past its prime, in its twilight we would say, and it seems the devs are aware so they are just trying to squeeze as much money out of the playerbase as they can before they pull the plug altogether. When will that be? No one knows. Its honestly a shame because this game had everything a PVP-MMO lover would enjoy. But they have scrapped features of the game that were accessible to the whole playerbase for features that are honestly locked behind a paywall in one way or another, directly or indirectly. This game is no longer friendly to new players nor returning players from long breaks, and thats due to the amount of progress that must be made in order to get back to end-game content. The devs have done a LOT to help players bridge the gap, but still, honestly if you want to catch up in a meaningful amount of time you have to be ready to drop money on the game, which is a huge turn-off for a lot of players who are not sure in the first place if they want to even spend money on the game. We pay the occasional $20 here or there (like around the holidays) but am not a pay-to-play guy, so we know Im perpetually behind the guys who do spend and spend big. Im fine with that because Ive played long enough where we dont need to spend big to get good rewards and whatnot, but we know we are not in the majority. If youre a new player or a returning player considering KaW, Id recommend to look the other way unless it is only pure nostalgia that drives you, and even then if youre a returning player you may log back in and feel a bit sad seeing how much the game has changed and shrunk over the years. This game is a shadow of its former self which is a shame because like we said, we genuinely love this game otherwise we wouldnt have played it for so many years. However, the developers attitude doesnt seem likely to change at all in the future and they will just keep the lights on long enough until their small crowd of heavy spenders moves on. Id like to see developers put more focus into other aspects of the game like warring and clans (clan loyalty awards/bonuses would be awesome), but unless they can find a way to make money off of whatever feature they add, theyre not gonna add it. Its a shame but its just the reality of the current state of this game. We will continue to play until the game dies most likely. We just fear that day will come sooner than later. Its a sad way to end but thats just life and life isnt full of happy endings. We dont mean to speak ill of anyone on the dev team though. Ive known lots for years and seen many more come and go and we know theyre good people just doing their jobs. Unfortunately their jobs just happens to involve following the orders from those at the top who are most incentivized by money above all else. Will just enjoy the game while its still around. But we will strain again, if you are new or coming back from a long break this is not the game for you (anymore). Im sorry to say but thats just the truth. The review rating does not entail this is a bad game because it is not. Its just so skewed towards the pay-to-play playerbase that unless youre ready to open your wallet left and right, youre gonna be behind the curve in all aspects. If youre fine with that, then go for it, give it a download. But if you want to be working on endgame content and dont want to pay lots of money to catch up, youre out of luck. However, recent changes to the legend system has new and better rewards. We hope the devs can keep following this trend in efforts of helping newer and returning player be able to bridge the gap quicker, then we may revisit with a higher rated review in the future. This is just our analysis on the current state of this game. Of course this game holds a spot in our heart so we will continue to hope for the best for this game all the way to the dying days.
Sent a review a second ago, didnt save. Summarize by saying -Pay to win.. Super -Mods participate in background chats designed to sell items for irl cash, all the top players spend crazy on furn and charms, only way to obtain the amount that many players have -not designed to help new players -all new weekly events are really just a huge cash grab, they dont help the base player much -they could make their game run so much faster and people would appreciate it a lot if they simplified the amount of digits they put into the game, gold is going into the quintillions easily, and all the stats start off in the thousands at the bare minimum for no reason, could remove 3 digits with no reprocussions – Hard to navigate -Lots of harassment in WC from same few players every day, prepare to ignore it Dont start a new addiction, just about all old players will tell you they hate the game, they just stay on for the fact that they have known one another for many years, get a better social app, don't fall into this pit of despair the way that the rest of us did.
Our account was banned for no reason and we have not been able to reinstate it despite having spent tons of time and money in game. Would be 5 stars if not for the fact that we cant play again.
As a longtime player in this game, we enjoy the social aspect of interacting with players around the world and across the nation. We will enter the system wars again when clans are able to war against one another as was the case during the first six system wars. Some have referred this as just another tap tap game, if you learn how to war, it takes concentration and strategy when communicating/warring with clan members against another clan.
This game is kind of addictive and we enjoy it. We wish it had a few more things, however. 1. Best ways to obtain nobility. The current system has very annoying ways of earning nobility and we really dont want to sign up for trials or have to spend $20+ on products that we dont want. We hear some players have the ability to play games to earn nobility but we dont see that. 2. Alternate accounts. We think it would be great to have the ability to log in and log out of various accounts. We currently do not have any other device but our main phone, so using our other accounts doesnt look likely as of now. 3. Updated design. Maybe a updated design for iOS.

This was one of our favorite games for a very long time and we started playing when it first came out more than 10 years ago. We even spent money in the shop to buy a few items and to support the developer. Then out of nowhere our account gets locked and the get help button doesnt do anything when you click it. Looking into the problem lead us to find that tons and tons of people had the exact same thing happen to them with no warning, we did nothing wrong against ToS or anything like that just locked accounts and no way to get it back. And the worst part is you cant even make a new account because its linked to your phone so even if you delete the game and all data and reinstall it you are greeted with the account locked screen and that get help button that does nothing. Dont bother wasting your time on the game and definitely dont spend any money on it because they will randomly lock your account and all your time is wasted.

Only really back for the nostalgia. We played about 10-11 years ago. Its really changed a lot but its still fun. Miss the old days though. Used to war all the time, owned a clan, now it seems more money hungry than it used to be. Still can be enjoyable for F2P though.
The KaW game has kept us tap tapping for 12 years now and still going. The tecent game modifications to eb legend side contests have been positive and we believe thete is still room for improvement to the PVP side of the game. – Lethyl.
This game isnt for new players. Even with features devs added to help new accounts out they still have a long period of growth just to catch up with the typical build stats of the player population. Aside from that their player base isnt really welcoming or helpful. There was just a conversation in the World Chat section where the experienced players basically told a small account to sit down and shut up over bringing up valid points about how newer players tend to leave game because theyre stuck in a rotation of epic battles that reward low plunder and event items.
We have not played the game in years and recently wanted to get back into playing only to find out our account has been banned. There was no explanation besides the generic terms of service ban. So they will just lose another person that was willing to come back and play. We cant recommend this game to anyone especially with the ban we received and no explanation given when other games Ive played have.
Ive played the game for 12 years and Ive been taking a break for a bit. When we tried to log into one of our two accounts it said we were banned for violating their policy. And btw support is really poor. You cant hit the help button on your screen bc it doesnt do anything how am we banned when we havent been on this account for close to 8 years? Fix your game please.

Ive played KAW for years since we were 14, took a break the last few years and Ive tried at least 5 times to come back but when we click on the app we get access denied there is a problem connecting with our game server. Try waiting a few minutes, check your connection and restart the game well, Ive been waiting and trying for years?!? How much longer until we can play?? Ive spent too much money on kaw to not have access to our account for no reason this is crazy.
