It pains us to say that, because we genuinely like this game, but Ive realized its design philosophy is a little more poachy towards its players purse in comparison to the world and story it attempts to build.

We really love this game, it has everything we really want In a game. But for some reason we are unable to access the portal in the new event. It was super frustrating, but after a couple hours, it was fixed and it was all good. 10/10, am playing still.

Ive downloaded and installed and promptly uninstalled a lot of games lately looking for something to occupy us while waiting in lines or having meals alone or late at night before sleep. This game has been erfect! We play mostly for freeany gift cards we get for birthdays etc we usually use on games, and we have definitely purchased a couple packages from this game but we mostly am FtP. We like the balance of power in this game. It is taking a long time and a lot of play to level and power upand we like that. We get bored when we can power up too quickly and have deleted a lot of games that we maxed levels quickly in. This game has a lot of different ways to power up, a lot of different activities, and theres a fair amount of strategy involved in a lot of places in the game. There is grind for resources, sureI voluntarily watch ads for extra gold for example, but we havent felt like we need to make a ton of purchases to advance (unless we were impatient and wanted to overpower quickly but then we would get bored and delete!). We like the guild systempretty standard stuff. We dropped a star because the guild chat isand has beenbuggy. But there are always ongoing events to participate in. We really love the artwork, animation, and audio. Its a beautiful looking and sounding game. Ive been playing a couple months now and am pretty happylevel 43 (out of 70) in a couple months of daily play. We like the wiki and Reddit communities, and theres plenty of youtube content for strategy too.

We love this game for the art style and the turn based battle. We also love this game because it is so satisfying when you eliminate a person in slow motion. The currency is super cheap and easy to get. And all the chests are so cool. And it works offline super well so you keep having fun.
We have been playing this for close to a month now and really enjoy how much care and effort has been put into it! Ive played plenty of games with similar time-gate, progression systems and mechanics, but this one is by far one of the most fair and well balanced, and enjoyable both as a f2p player and as someone who doesnt mind paying some money for quicker progression or access to skins / collectibles. Plenty of activities to keep you busy and a great community as well. Try it for yourself.
This game is awesome, there is a lot of grind but once u get leveled enough u become good at it. We are already guild leader.

Hello we love this game and its amazing but we have a problem with the account it wont let us in cause it already was login and says smoother device is using it yet our phone is the only device we used it on.
Some of the other reviews say you have to pay to win but thats definitely not true. Yes, you have to grind a little. But its really not that bad (unless you lack patience and skill). When the main map gets really hard, the mythic rift opens up. Theres also events, pvp, guild battles, and more ways to level up.
So happy to have found a game that isnt pay to win, appreciates its players and is willing to invest in improving game functionality and innovate! Midoki has struck a great balance creating a really fun and strategic game with a ton of depth and complexity thats entirely opt in. Theres ways to optimize progression, but most just play the way that brings them joy. Whales exist in every game, but in Knighthood the marginal gain on spending $100 vs $10 vs $0 a month is small to keep everyone playing together rather than creating a caste-like system. Id encourage Midoki to keep trying new things (loved a lot about the last Guild War) and continue refining the UX and AI, keep it up.

So far Ive played about an hour of this game and Ive appreciated a lot. This includes fairly fun combat and a decent enough amount of customization. More than either of these though, the game manages to be better than so many other mobile games and really separates itself from them. However, the introduction of the game is fairly miserable and we really struggled because of its no freedom and lockness. It literally takes you ten minutes before you can even turn audio off, and then the tutorial still isnt over. Besides he intro, more customization and freedom would definitely make it better. Overall pretty good game but some very harmful problems such as the lack of freedom.
Maybe it gets better, 10 levels in and its kinda snoozy still. Very pressing on the adverts in game to purchase chests and boosters, near spammy. Looks nice, we imagine thats what has kept the player base going.
Im no stranger to micro transactions but theres a ton in this game and quite expensive nonetheless. And even when you purchase some of the pricey ones, the sense of progression feels a bit subpar at times. Ive played for a week or so and its really easy to get hardstuck despite having your armors and weapons at the recommended level. Overall the concept and gameplay are really fun but progression isnt really about skill or strategy in this game, its just making sure you have the right characters or stats to progress through the level and this in itself is what takes time, for example collecting a good weapon for every enemy category.

Really enjoyable game, has lots of customization and gives the player the full ability to use whatever weapons or armor they want. Nothing really locked behind paying money which we really love about this game.
We love this game however our inventory is constantly full of weapons because the game wont allow you to get rid of your last weapon of a certain type but some players like us only use one weapon and dont switch so this feature is really annoying.
Ive been enjoying this game for awhile. However, its absolutely necessary to purchase items to advance in this game. If you dont its a tough grind to level up and getting passed level 42 is difficult. Obtaining items to level up your gear and coin is almost impossible . Even when you save your gems to get a loot box you still get terrible crumbly loot. Its highly repetitive and the incoming events are just as repetitive as everything else. Id be willing to spend a few bucks here and there but the price to get the upgrade parts are super expensive. We get you guys have to keep it running and pay staff but the prices are outrageous . This game has so much potentional to be better than it is. Add more things to do, make it easier to get items and upgrade material. Less repetition and maybe people will actually play. We run a clan and constantly have people who join and leave after a day or two. We dont blame them. Its worth a shot but now we dont know if id like to stick around to play. Im super bored and frustrated.
It is extremely predatory in how it monetizes itself. You are very much easily capable of spending over 1000$ in a day and not make nearly as much progress as youd expect. Its a shame to see such a wonderful mobile game feel like a crappy shovelware game with how many different pop ups you get that ask you to buy something. Its actually disgusting. Now dont get us wrong, its fine to monetize you game, but at least show some respect to the play by not shoving their face full of bad and WAAAAAAAY overpriced deals. Also, for the few different event/battle passes that are in the game, have a continuous reward for players who max out those passes. With that being said, the game is nearly perfect if it werent for the literal bombardment of micro transactions.
We really like them just wish when on explore map you could zoom in and out to see the whole map.

We cringe with mobile games because it usually seems like as soon as you start playing you cant progress until you spend tons of cash and then when you do whales still crush all your stuff. This game so far is different. Im level 35 and yes progress is slow and became a grind. We chose to spend a bit but we dont have too PVE content is awesome and PVP no one can really crush all your stuff or steal all rss hahahahaa! Its a beautiful game w vibrant characters love it. It would be one of our favoritesBUT. The very limited energy that you have to fight battles causes lots of dead space while playing. Ive been playing games for a very long time, and we dont mind the grind on some games because you can always do other stuff on the game to take up your time. But here it makes it very tedious trying to upgrade your characters. Im going to continue playing for a bit, im hoping an update can maybe be in the works.
The game looks great and we like the graphics and gameplay, but unfortunately its just another pay to win. We have been stuck forever trying to beat this monsters and cant never beat them. You either have to grind for years to be able to upgrade or, of course, open your wallet and spend real money. We dont mind spending money on mobile games, developers need the money to keep up with updates, but feeling forced to spend money to advance is plain wrong. Not to mention, nobody has joined our Alliance. We made this alliance a long time ago and sent hundreds of invites and nobody join. Tired of playing against bots. Please slow down the difficulty on this game, not everyone is a rich person with unlimited amounts of money to waste on this games.
Love the art style of this game but progress is slow and unrewarding. Out of energy quick and its expensive to refill. Ads arent worth the time. It all gets repetitive quick.
Okay, we are a gamer in our 30s, played console games, PC games – you name it. We played a few mobile games in our past and just hated that there were all these ads that took us out of the game – sure they are free and thats how the game makes money and its literally pay to win but heres the thing with this game- no forceful ads, only when you want to see ads to get rewards. The leveling and the amount of customizations, enemies, challenges, daily rewards, tournaments, guilds etc etc. This makes us feel like Im playing a game that came out on steam. Download it – its THAT GOOD.
Game is unplayable right now. Everytime we click an action the screen gets stuck. Been playing this every day for 4 years straight. Not only is this the best mobile game ever made, it has the best community and updates by far.
Listen, we love this game. But if you are F2P, be patient. We spent about $50 on passes/boosts and whatnot for extra materials and cosmetics but it hasnt gotten us very far. You can earn almost everything just by playing/grinding. Only spend money if youre having fun or want to support the developers. If youre going to spend, buy the gem passes. 50-75 gems a day for a month is a lot, use it wisely!! Have fun you guys, just know it takes days to weeks to get some things. Great art, fun gameplay, and as the difficulty increases a lot of strategy is needed for success. Think before you act and youll do great.
This game is the best game ever.

We spend every day playing this. Can be challenging at times, but pays off in the heroes you can summon and the weapons you get.
We recently downloaded the game and made it to level 36, but realized we wasted a lot of early game resources. We decided that we wanted to start over and be smarter early game. This has been a nightmare. We were able to start a new knight and linked it our Google account as opposed to our Apple, and played the new knight for a while. We decided we wanted to switch back to the old account and see if we could play both. We signed out of the new knight and tried to login to our older Apple account and, after some misclicks, we signed into the Apple account. However, the game keeps saying we are logged in on another machine and wont let us get into the game, nor will it let us switch accounts it just keeps trying to login on the Apple account and failing telling us to close the game on the other device (we have only ever played on our phone so there isnt another device). We are effectively locked out of the game. Not sure what happened, but the game is not built to have multiple accounts. Other than getting locked out we loved the game.
First of all, this is an absolutely amazing game. It runs smoothly, it has amazing audio, and theres no ads. Everything is absolutely free to play. The only things that cost money are extra resources, if you need them, premium chests or passes, and in game currency. The two in game currencies are gold and gems. Gems are the better currency, and you can use them to buy skins and other stuff like chests and resources. You use gold to buy stuff in ingame shops and to rank up heroes. You have to go through levels fighting enemies until you reach the end of the map, and then you move onto the next map. One of our suggestions to the devs is to make gold a little less grindy, cus it cost 16000 gold at level 20 for our heroes to rank up, and then we level up five times and it costs another 16k. Maybe you could spend gems as an alternative to gold. We also think it would be cool if there was a destination where you could brew potions, kind of like the forge. We also think that you could fine tune the matchmaking for guild wars, because our guild of five players, each 30-50 level, went up against two full guilds of level 40+ level players. Also, sometimes in the arena battles whenever we had to close our game for like 10 seconds the game automatically ended the match in a loss for us, which hurt our league standing and failed us for the week. You should also add a feature where you can sell materials like the bits you get from mines, cus like we have 2000+ of them and Im never gonna use them. Tip 1: Join a guild full of active players around your level, it will make guild wars easier. It will also give lots of rewards. Tip 2: Unlock mines as soon as possible, they give passive income of resources. Over all, its an amazing game. Its just the right amount of grindy, and the loot systems arent rigged like other games. Usually we dont write reviews but this game deserves it the game play is very enjoyable the only downside is that their is not a lot of content creators that you can watch that play this game.
Been playing for years now and still having a blast :).
We love this games but we feel like maybe you could like have are heroes fight with us instead of we having to choose what they do.
