We would recommend this game to everyone who likes grindy but quick games that are not pay-to-win. Its definitely worth the money. In fact, Id go so far as to say Id like to see a sequel. We dont see many people requesting one, but we want a Knightmare Tower 2 with more features, more princesses to save, more upgrades, and more enemies to slice!
We remember playing this all the way through on Newgrounds all those years ago and loving it. It still holds up. We had no idea about this backstory with the wrong princesses.
Its rare to find a game that you will always play when you have some downtime. That game is Knightmare tower. We dont want to stop playing but when we do its easy to come back. We hope we get another game like this from the developer one day.
We cant stand the backwards tilt controls.
We have played through and beat it tons of fun most definitely worth it, and it works on the new iOS!
We even accidentally deleted our data and went back to play through all over again. Addicting as hell, worth every cent.
Holy addictive! We only wish we had found this game a bit sooner. After scouring around Apple Arcade for a hit we branched out and searched for videos of great games outside of Arcade and found this little nugget of a gem hidden amongst the articles. Built well, great pacing, nice skill cap and learning curve – the art style and (albeit very minimal) story is cute and enough to relay what your doing. Great backwards twist on a classic style that just works, and even this long after release it still holds up perfectly well. Get this game!
Fun and simple, yet challenging.
We played this back in armor games when it was 2011.
For some reason we couldnt load in but we fixed it. Im on iOS iPhone 8.
Please don’t stop updating this game. We have some good games from years ago that the devs stopped updating, so they don’t work on the current iOS; I’d hate to see that happen here.

Omg we beat the game we wish there was 1 more of the game but very stress full to beat it took us like 3 years. But good game, LOVE IT!!!

We HATE that it is tilt controls! We wish we were told! There should at least be an option to use a joystick or something.

We rarely rate apps but this game was so much fun. We never had any crash problems either.
This is one of the best apps we have played on the App Store in a long time. It’s getting tiresome to sift through all of the cheap, cloned, and just plain out poorly made apps like all of the flappy crap that’s been going around lately. We have absolutely nothing negative to say and can only hope that games like this will become the norm on the App Store. We hope to see this app do very well for itself and we fully support a sequel.
This game is incredibly fun. The progression is well paced – you never feel like you go too long without acquiring some kind of meaningful upgrade, and with every upgrade you gain a noticeable amount of power. The final boss is challenging enough to give most people a good amount of trouble, and the art style is charming. Controls are nice and tight and customizable. The game is often difficult, but deaths always feel avoidable and are never unfair, and every failure left us wanting to try again. All in all, a superb app.
We waited for this game to go on sale because we wasn’t sure we would like it and then we totally missed the sale. Gave it a shot anyway and it’s totally worth the $3. Not usually a fan of tilt controls, which made us not jump right at it but they did a really good job of tuning the game to be very playable.
First of all in midevil times did they have game boys. Really unique mix of modern and old gameplay like how different and weird the story is love gameplay and graphics and armor sets and rocket ships get it if your looking for a game with good story addictive gameplay and epic weapons and armor get it.
It reallllllllllllllllly fun and play it well listening to star bomb the best game and they don’t spam the rateing with no adds or in app purchases.
Make an update that brings diamond armour and sword.
