Lost Survivors – Island Game Review
We are addicted to this game. We do wish we could swap out or remove an item from the production queue of a facility.
Upgrading the survival building only increases point for the radar but cost a ton of material wish if it can change some appearance.
Im sorry this is the only way to try to contact help as there is nothing in the game. Our explorer cannot go on any missions as we keep getting error messages saying we have to collect the loot when nothing is showing. We really love the game once the issue gets fixed we will rate the game.
Just would be nice to be able to trade supplies for coin instead of just deleting them from storageyou know may be a merchant ship every once in a while.
This is a pretty fun game in design. The only problem is that its so buggy its not worth playing. The game crashes constantly once you get a lot of things built. It will freeze for 5-10 seconds quite a bit but then its recently started just completely crashing out after freezing. In 20 minutes of playtime, expect to reload 10 times. We didnt have any issues until our camp started getting larger and now it happens constantly. If it would work we would probably give it a 4-5 star but there is nothing more frustrating that something you want to play that just falls apart over and over and over.
By far, this is the most enjoyable, rewarding game that we have ever downloaded, and thats saying a lot, since we’ve been playing phone games since phones came out.
This is one game that the only time you have nothing to do – is while yoinked wait for things to be made , picked or filled. The stories told are very cute- like the ones that you can pick the answer to & see what is said after. Im really not very far in- but did start our own team ( a little earlier than we should have, we think. ) As soon as Im told we can purchase something- we do) before we run out of money!!) Right now-
We just started playing this game not too long ago and we have already reached Day 8! We have actually enjoyed our time in this app despite it constantly crashing! However, even on our way to that point, the game had crashed at least THREE times EACH for MANY simple and trivial tasks every now and then like sending gatherers and collecting/producing goods, as well as sending parrot deliveries even! And dont get us STARTED on how many times it crashed when we opened the build menu and tried to even just INITIATE the where-you-wanna-build-it part of the process! And that leads us to our main reason for posting this review: we cant get past the tutorial part in the beginning of Day 8 because of it crashing literally EVERY time we try to build the new campfire thing!!! We just dont get it! No matter how many apps we offload from our iPod touch 6th generations memory, that doesnt even seem to be affecting the crash rate of this pesky app! What gives?! Its like you want us to actually STOP playing your game! And here we thought InnoGames was a GOOD video game company! Hah! Thats a big joke!
This game was awesome until InnoGames decided to double the amount of green dollars (the ones you pay real green dollars for) you need to progress in some of the side games and challenges a few days ago. They did it without notice or reason. For this reason alone we have stopped playing and will probably delete. We did spend real money on this game because we thought it was worth it, now we wish we hadnt. Dont waste your time downloading because youll need to spend lots of your own money to get anywhere and they will probably keep raising the price to play. Thats the thanks we get from InnoGames for being loyal players.
The game wont even open. We click the app it has the loading screen and then closes right away.
It wont load up. We’ve been trying to play the game for the last 3 days but it wont load. We did the upgrade but still wont load. When it did load up we enjoyed playing it.
Got to Day 16 before Id had enough. Harvesting mushrooms and picking up palm leaves never took so long! Walk on by, Intrepid Adventurer! Unless of course youd care to toss some hard currency to the devs? Oh yessss sir right this wayyyy.
So far beautiful still learning how to play not that hard either. Loving it so far. We love how realistic it looks and we can see the workers working.
Fun game as most are starting out. Like one review its a time killer but uh duh they all are. Lol. Im at the point (level 11) where Ill jump on send our boats out, send out the gathers and start all things crafting then go do something else and come back later when its all ready to pick up and go again.
We really do enjoy this game! Its the only one we’ve been playing daily since we’ve downloaded it. We like that theres a bunch of different things to do! Im nearing day 27 so there are a few changes or add ons Im hoping to see: It would be cool to have the gatherers walk in the paths/roads when not gathering. Maybe even put the fire station to use and have a fire truck in the road at times. We think it would be nice to be able to load crates of resources in the parrot tree and lock them in as you continue to make more resources for the rest of the order. We really wish the pet shards needed to get a new pet were cut in half or at least make it easier to get more pet shards. We think the Team Network could go more in depth and add more things for the teams to participate in like group missions, etc. Also, It would be neat to be able to go onto the islands weve cleared off to gather new resources or even build. Overall, its a fun game and we laugh at the workers comments sometimes because theyre sassy. And we think The Sims music makes us want to be able to build more but we cant.

This game had such promise and we were actually enjoying it for the first part of it but.. The world gets old, grinding the same stuff over and over again to where the game feels like work. The special events are nothing but you doing these same things over and over agin but trying to do it at a faster paste for subpar prizes. For a game that could be great its nothing but subpar and to play a game to escape from work to be a different job is just boring.
The game takes a lot of time to do anything but it was ok until last update it started just crashing and closing within seconds every time we try to play. Its getting tiring. Im deleting if it cant run right.
We like the game nice graphics like the sounds.
Since the recent update, we are no longer able to watch ads to collect raccoon chests. Game & OS are UTD.
We love the game but it gives us goals of rescuing a survivor, then makes us repeat uncovering the same place again & again. At least three times, the game missed the target ALL together! Wasting our resources. Im close to getting fed up.
This game constantly says error and does not open it is broken do not download.
Has so much potential , if you fix the following problems we come back and make it five stars. Videos do not work. Would love to see a settings button to contact you in the game itself boosters are the automatic are listed on left side but when pressed says no video available why? Being composted with coins would be great when we dispose of goods in storage so the making of them would not have been a complete waste of time Otherwise great game love it J.
This is a great game. Yes, its frustrating if youre not a paying customer, but theres the world for you. You DO have to grind (like practicing your foul shots or doing taxes) but every word of their ad copy is true. Cute animals, friendly characters (after a Buck, but who isnt) a big island and an archipelago to explore- not a speedrunners game. Some of us are not all about the winning and blowing through the game so you can, what, start a different game? Its fun. Our islands a nice place to visit. And you really dont need to spend money. Not crazy with ads, either.
We have been trying to install the update, so far not working.
Love this game! You can accomplish tasks relatively fast without making huge money purchases and continually enjoy the game. We love the storyline and the characters. And the graphics are SO BEAUTIFUL! HOWEVER – our one complaint is this. As far as the ocean/island exploration goes, we never get low volume or non time consuming loading crates anymore. You may be thinking, well sure, thats what happens when you advance in a game, but Im referring to small trips too. Im trying to leave on an 8 MINUTE exploration to simply get rid of fog. Yet the crates Im STUCK with require 4 BASKETS AND 2 HERB SPICES – for those that dont know yet, a basket takes over 1.5 hours and the herb spice takes 45 minutes. For an 8 minute expedition just to remove fog – this is quite excessive. Sometimes it takes us 2 days to pack a crate if the items are too time consuming to make. Unfortunately- like today for our 8 minute exploration this will take us 2 days to make all of the crate requirements. Our hope in posting this review is that perhaps the developers would reconsider the loading crate criteria and lower the difficulty for the excursions. OR perhaps add the ability to cancel an excursion and try to map out a different path thus also creating different crate packing requirements so that we can refresh and try to get a loading crate that is achievable and reasonable. Ultimately- we feel as though an 8 minute excursion should at maximum require perhaps gathering a few wires for the crate (and really even wire is pushing it since it has a high gather time!) We really enjoy the game, play daily. Love expanding our land, that goes a little slowly. And getting congested because it makes us buy many buildings we do not feel we need which clutters fills up our island too fast for us. And need many more of the broom things to sweep away, remove obstacles. Dont get enough of those. Otherwise, plugging along, enjoying other things in game.
We started this game a while back and we have definitely been enjoying it. But the primary thing you need to explore the island is your radio tower. Our radio tower says we can update it six times right now if we had the materials. But it takes 7 spools per level. We have gotten like three in the last six months of almost daily play. Since we need 42 of them and none are currently available, we see no reason to play any longer. They really need to work out some kind of trade system or a better drop ratio. Something better then this.
When we try to landscape our island to finish the quest, it doesn’t work. Nothing changes in the landscape and does not give us credit for it. I’d appreciate getting credit for it considering we’ve tried numerous times a day for the last 5 says. Otherwise we love playing the game but plz make this right.
Its a good game, has worked okay but recently there have been alot of problems as far as the game loading and now everytime we open it, it wont load at all.
This game went fast at first, then at about day 21 or 22, things come to a standstill. Raft expeditions all of a sudden require ALOT of supplies that you dont even have room to store. Storage is a problem. You cant seem to get ahead because everything takes so long and requires something you cant get to. Submarine depletes your supplies very quickly. You cant store enough in between to make a difference. We are now creeping along in the game. Not enough to do in between, so we go play other games then come back after a few hours. Not sure how long we will continue.

We feel that you should allow us to cancel on the boat expeditions for some times they are ridiculous on there cost yesterday we had to pay 29 of the same item for them to set sail. And thats a lot considering you cant hold that much in storage and then had to wait for the gathers to gather the item which took all day just to get that explore done at least it seem all day you should be able to cancel after you find out how much it cost. Why are you making it so costly to collect survivors?
This game used to be fun. Now, you spend more time watching ads for the Misty Continent and Kings Match than actually playing the game. Sad that the GREED of the game and its programmers kills the fun from a silly and basic game.
We would love to restart our game from the beginning we cant remember what happened :(
Love the game. You can play without spending real money. We have not spent $ and am on day 73. We would like to see more events involving the team. Glad to see you added the request feature. We would like to see the feature maybe when you visit a team members island you can fill their boats if you want to.
Just did the most recent update and now the game is virtually unplayable. Takes for ever to load and then will just close for no reason. Booster video wont play and kicks you out as well as the raccoon video. Please fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been playing this game for a while now and it is fun BUT the longer you play the longer you wait. Not for stuff to be harvested or produced but for it to SAVE! We counted the times it saved in one hour and it was 18 times and it is the slowest of any game we have ever played! We forget what we need to do next and we have started to just do the few moves we can before it goes into save mode (and you cant do anything) then move on to another game completely. The game has now started to crash and restart while it is saving and that slows it down even more. So if you want to PLAY this game enjoy it while you can (at first) because the longer you play, the bigger you get the less you get to actually play.
Why does the game reset every time we watch a video? We tried using customer support, but lost survivors isnt an option. Fix the glitch,, and improve support please.
The new update kept restarting the game after it would take us to an add. Now it wont load at all.
So we’ve been playing this game a few years now and we have become somewhat frustrated by a few different things in the game. The rewards in the events seem kind of useless. Was nice to see new events roll out but what audience are we catering to here? Stickers for chat really do not assist in progressing the island builds or the reward to put something in or out of storage a building to set on the island for a short time to increase production, time and blueprints to upgrade each shop? Great but one still needs many many of these items to upgrade the shops to reach faster production times or have more shelves etc. To Expand an area takes so many items and maybe those event rewards would maybe some of those items instead? The crate tickets are always nice since it takes forever to fill them for expeditions. The dives? We rarely do these any more as the storage to hold waters to use for the dives needs to be adjusted because as each level increases the water increases. 12 waters per slot so may possibly need 60 waters in 1 dive we are sure the next completed dive will go to 13 waters per dive. We understand it is easy item to use for dives but we had to offload our storage to hold enough waters for 1 round of dives. Which takes time for a whole round of dives. Do the developers not have the same main holidays as the players? A lot of these games have the holidays in mind and is always fun to see what holiday enhancements will be added to the holiday times like now Christmas season maybe the Raccoon may have some more gifts or something. We have spent money on this game as well mainly to upgrade our lighthouse and radio satellite because a lot of items are not being opened up in the map on regular play because they become unavailable. Why also if the animal is reached full level do we have to keep petting them? Its great we can ask others for resources now but 2 items? Really? How do we get them once requested? Im an adult with dollars and some of the events seem geared to 10 yr olds which is great but maybe tweak all we just mentioned.
This game has alot of variety a d is perfect to kill time. Its very addictive and you will tend to want TO SPEND REAL MONEY. DONT LET CHILDREN PLAY THIS GAME.
We HATE ADS. This game is great. If you want to speed things up or add to what you dont have then you have to watch an add. A random raccoon comes a few times a day to offer an add but its worth it. He gives you things you need. Not diamonds or useless stuff. Things you can actually use! The events are nice and extremely helpful to your progression. Great game.
We love this game so much! Too much we think we sneak and play it at work LOL! Its super fun and theres tons of things to do and events where you compete with people around the world it keeps it interesting! Im already hoping theres going to be a part 2 coming out because we have no idea what Im going to do if we finish the game Im on day 33 anyways awesome game!
This is a 5 star earning game. We love the realistic characters and buildings. It seems to be very much like if this actually happened to people. This game is creative and fun and we love the landscape feature.
Like all phone games pay money or talk your time.
