We loved this game. We only wish there were more levels.
Of all the games we’ve played, this has some of the most memorable character designs and gameplay.

We absolutely love this game!!! The story is simple, but the game play has trippy beauty to it. We just wish there were more levels to play!!! We went through them all so fast! We loved every minute of it!!!

Poetic, visual adaptation of the human process of replaying broken experiences until we find understanding and ultimately, peace. Absolutely gorgeous.
Spoilers if you havent played it yet! Basically, Ida is a princess who stole sacred geometry (the stuff from her hat) so she is cursed and turned into a human. As a human, she cant talk (which is why she is silent) and she cant fly. When she looks in the mirror, she is a crow with a crown and wings, which hints her true form. Which is why after she returns all the sacred geometry, she is turned back into the crow princess. And the crows are actually her servants but they too had lost their wings and ability to fly after Ida stole the geometry. And it might be possible that the ghosts she speaks to are the ones who cursed her OR the spirits/ghosts built the geometry. Our other theory: A spirit has the same hat as Ro (from Monument 2.) Is it possible that the spirit is Idas mother? In monument 2, Ro is seen with an unnamed daughter, is Ida her daughter? Was Ro the queen of the Crow People? Did Ro get turned into a human because Ida stole the geometry? In Monument 2, it seems like Ro is making geometry, and so is her child, so did Ida learn how to make geometry, but then steal geometry from Ro? OR is Monument 2 a completely different story? We hope we didnt confuse anyone with our explanation and theory though..
May contain minor spoilers for the game we barely ever write reviews on any apps at all, but we just had to review Monument Valley. We remember playing this game when we were younger, and coming back to playing when we grew older is one of the best decisions we’ve made. The games visuals are simple but stunning in a way you usually dont see in mobile games, and the puzzles were simple but fun and engaging to play over and over again. Most importantly, when we played this game when we were younger, we barely payed any attention to the storyline and character interactions, but they honestly make the game. Idas simplistic but elegant design paired with her story and her Quest for Forgiveness give the game a whole new meaning, and the lore is both simple but complex at the same time. Not to mention her interactions with Totem and the spirit are simple but meaningful, all of this while being completely silent. Overall, this is a stunning game that we are glad we came back to rediscover, same goes for Monument Valley 2 as well, and we hope everyone who plays feels the same way.
Beautiful art the puzzles arent very complex but we dont mind, its still fun and its actually a nice way to just relax if for once you dont feel the need to achieve. And the art is just beautiful.
We usually put every game down after trying for just a few minutes. They bore us. Not this one. It made us think. We do enjoy it. The creators of this had to put a lot of thought into how this was laid out as well in order to create such a 3-D spacial puzzle of optical illusion and rules. Only a rare few are as amusing as this. Bravo!!

We have never in our life been so awestruck but a mobile game. This game follows a complex storyline that follows ida through a quest for redemption. The graphics are perfect for the style of the game, the twists and turns of the gameplay, everything about this game is beautiful. The color scale changes from level to level giving you a sense of being lost yet trying to search for something missing. Perfect for late nights and perfect for everyone who likes puzzles.
We’ve played the other 2 Monument games and Instantly became hooked, just an all around amazing game, Im not a puzzle fan but these Monument games are like no other puzzle game, trust us you play this game for a few minutes youll want to keep playing more and more, THANK YOU APPLE FOR PICKING THIS UP AND RELEASING IT ON ARCADE! EASILY A 5 STARS GAME!
Everything in and around this game is wonderful. It has plenty of very unique, varied, and incredibly creative screens (little storied scenes) to solve. Its funny at times, theyre awesome brain teasers with perfect and very colorful graphics and smooth execution. With all that stimulation, we are sure we increased our brain power! Congrats on creating the perfect hours-long entertainment! Sometimes we were afraid we would not be able to finish the three full games included, but with patience and perseverance we actually did which was a relaxing feeling at the end.
A visual treat thats engaging, challenging & fun. Wish we would have discovered it sooner but glad we finally found Princess Idas world. Didnt want it to end! Instant fan.
This game takes it to a whole other LEVEL. We have no time to play games (college student), we actually barely ever play games (too much zoom school) but we were healthily obsessed with this. Kept our brain moving and our eyes happy. The story is unique and fun, the puzzles are always so confusing but never unsolvable. We wish we were in the room while the designers created this. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Monument Valley has beautiful graphics and at first it may be really hard to finish some puzzles (There are ten in total btw), but if you take a break and come back to the game, It may become easier! Besides that, we think its a good story about a girl on an puzzle adventure.

We love this game and his mind bending it is! But we finished the game in a little over the 24 hours we had it. The only thing Id change about this game is the amount of levels of puzzles it has.
This game is so amazing and so much fun. We love all the mind twisting puzzles that are so much fun. We have one question though; our friend is convinced that the totem is a caterpillar but we are sure it isnt. Can you tell us who is true? Again, great game and we are so happy that theres no ads.

We were blown away by the design of this game. The premise and objectives are super simple, but the visuals are so complex and disorienting at the same time. There are no instructions how to play, but thats part of the puzzle. And we love how the story unfolds little by little, it takes a while to figure out whats going on and who the characters represent. You can finish all the levels in a day, but its well worth the time. The Escher-esque levels really make you think. Its a physics-bending game of perspective. Also If you like this type of mechanical puzzle game, give Mekorama a try. Its very similar but without the story, and you can even design your own levels.

This game is amazing! It is a puzzle but beyond that it makes you think and requires a creative mind to view the best way to get Ida to where she needs to be. The graphics are amazing and interactive and we NEED more levels!!

We suffer from severe insomnia. With that said we decided to try a game on arcade and came across this one. Its beautifully simple, yet complex. We found myself enjoying the relaxing music and adventure. We slept like a baby after the first night playing it. We were shocked. We were also disappointed when it ended. We hope we find other relaxing puzzle games just like this. This would be the only reason we would subscribe to arcade. Thank you for helping this really busy Mommy finally get some rest!

The ugh is because it wasnt long enough! We wanted to be absorbed for weeks in this game, not just a couple of days. The Escher style mind bending graphics and simplicity make it challenging but not confusing. Such an intelligent design. Love it!
