Started munchkin years ago and was bummed, life changes and the old gang is not around to play anymore, but now all good again, thank you guy and gals for making this happen.
We have the physical card game and we have it on PC and now on the phone. We cant get enough of this game. We play with family and friends and we have so much fun laughing at one another. Its such a incredibly fun family game.
This game is glorious. God bless yall for making this game mobile for all the munches out here. We havent seen transfer potion card though. Also the kick down cleric ability is bugged and doesnt work.
This is a really good translation of the game. We hope other editions show up, and more cards too. We would happily buy them. No pesky ads makes it even better. Its a bargain for the price.
We’ve been playing the card game for years. Love the app! Now we can play whenever we want, and not just at parties!
Absolutely amazing! So happy to finally be able to play one of our favorite card games of all time digitally. The AI is pretty decent albeit a bit predictable at times. The challenges have been super fun (still gotta beat the heroic difficulties), def gave us ideas for unique rules for tabletop Munchkin as well. We did have one weird bug where when we save/exited a challenge and went back to finish it, and won, it didnt register we beat it, but didnt happen again when we did the same thing later. Other thing that happened a couple times is we clicked to open a menu when we apparently couldnt and it queued up that menu a ton of times and we had to exit like 5-15 of it but otherwise plays super smooth. Cant wait to see some expansion packs released in the future!
We remember playing the physical version ages ago, of which we still have in the family board games shelf, good to know our patience towards a digital version we can play with folks around the world had payed off. Also Im looking forward to the expansions that we missed out on to add to the mix.
Honestly this is our favorite card game of all time. So happy to see this make its way to the phone. Though we do hope you guys end up adding the other expansions and if possible the crossovers from Marvel, Rick and Morty and more! Id gladly pay for them.
First, Im super happy theres an online version available! We’ve played a few times, once with a friend and several times in local play. We tried to join someones online game but, after all the players joined, we got an error message saying the game couldnt load and our screen seemed stuck. We’ve also received the Divine Intervention card a few times but it doesnt go in our hand, it just goes away as though we discarded it. There are many features we really enjoy, such as the usable cards or abilities lighting up when you need them. Very helpful! Room for improvement but we still enjoy it.
The game feels and plays like munchkin! The only struggle we have is we would Love to be able to pause In live play!!!
This is a super fun way to play munchkin. We beat all the challenges which took about a week. Kind of reminds us of the dungeon expansion pack for the actual game. The playing live players has a lot to be desired. There is rarely enough people in the game room to even have one game going with 4 people. And when there is, the game takes forever or they get timed out and dropped and turned into AI. There needs to be expansions pack added. New weapons, armor, curses, monsters, etc. We have played so many times we plan for the best set up of classes and armor and can beat the AI every time. Looking forward to some updates.
We wanted to love this game. The board game is very fun and we own all of the original series expansions. But this game is not a good adaptation of the game. Its way too frustrating to play even on the largest iphones. The equipping system is awful and unintuitive. The 2D art dancing around and rotating makes the game look cheap. Reading cards is a chore. We wish it looked and felt more like the card game. Less trying to not make it a card game and more making it the actual card game. Even the card layout is different than the actual card game. We wish the equipping system had a predetermined layout, like head/hands/armor/feet slots so we didnt have to scroll around trying to figure out what card is what. This game isnt worth the $10 we paid for the amount of frustration we feel with the UI while playing it. We should have waited for a steam sale and played it on a monitor.
It feels like the real thing. Its kept us up past our bedtime playing it. Munchkin players are thin on the ground where we live; Im going to be playing this in all our free time until we get caught up on our Munchkin deficiency! Full disclosure: we work for SJGames, but not on the Munchkin side of things. Im just an addict.
Being able to finally own and play a wonderfully polished digital version of Munchkin is super satisfying. If you enjoyed the physical card game, then you will love this too. Having the options to play solo, with friends or online with others makes this even better! Also allowing you to stop and save mid-game is amazing. We hope many more new players pick this up and join in on the fun of Munckin. Thanks for bringing this card game to digital life!

This is so good. The gameplay is very easy to get used to the artwork is incredible everything you love about the physical game all in your pocket.
Started playing this game 10 years ago, so happy to see this made into an app! Hope that over time, other munchkin versions can be added!

Dont get us wrong, its a great way to play Munchkin on the go but we feel like theres a lot more that needed to be done before the mobile release that would warrant the apps $10 price tag. Theres a lot of clunkiness on the interface especially when trying to view card text or certain abilities not activating properly just to name a few issues. As a suggestion, there should be some sort of in-game reward system to give you points or coins whenever you win a game to buy avatar skins or cosmetics, etc. Because whenever you win, it feels extremely overwhelming getting taken immediately to the main screen. We think the achievements are a great start but something a little more tangible to the players would be better. Ill support this company either way but it does leave a lot to be desired compared to other mobile card games out there especially against free ones.
It definitely feels and plays like Munchkin Playing on a mobile device, the cards are so small as well as your equipment area, so its hard to see and click on your stuff For us, Im getting zero sound. Even rebooting our phone and adjusting the settings to loud. We get nothing.
We almost finished our first game but the attack button never showed up so we could kill the winning monster. We WAS able to resign we will try again later.
The second tutorial seems bugged as you cant play the mace due to the prompt for the thief card sticking around. Needs work.
