Is there a DLC that we can get where we can seek revenge on anyone who hurt Klaus/Karin in the game? We know its not gonna be historically accurate, but we would pay so much for it.
We bought this game thinking nothing special of it , but as we continued to play we realized it was more than what we expected. We expected it to be like talking Tom but it was so much more. Playing this was a meaningful and enjoyable experience. 10/10 for sure!!
This was an amazing game we would LOVE to see more chapters stories etc. Absolutely amazing game couldnt put our phone down!!!!!!
Our sister bought this and we thought is was a a waste of money we were SOOOO wrong one of the beat games we played.
We played about 3 chapters last year. We accidentally deleted the game but now our apple wont let us redownload! Im very upset because we love this game.
We have no idea where to begin. This game truly beautiful. It is a great game with no ads or bugs and what not. But more importantly, an incredible storyline that completely touched our heart. We cant even begin to explain our feelings. We would absolutely recommend downloading.
We played this game last year and we were shocked that this game was so well put together. We always been intrigued by the holocaust and wanted to know more about what life for the survivors and children was like after that terrible tragedy; this game helped our curiosity. We promise you the storyline will make you happy one moment then angry or sad the next moment! Words cant describe how much we love this game! THANK YOU DEVELOPERS FOR SUCH AN UNFORGETTABLE GAME!
This game left us speechless, we wish we can help the people who feel like this or are treated like this, we raised a beautiful daughter karin and it hurt us from what she went through, im so sorry to anyone that has been abused or treated this way we learned a lot from this game and we recommend it but it could be hard to take in.
We stayed up all night and finished the game within 24 hours, we felt so many emotions while playing, its a good learning experience. Reminds us how we have to learn history so we dont repeat it.
This is a great app! Its very entertaining and sometimes sad. Its really fun to play on. We just have one problem. Its that we dont think we should be able to only do 2 things for each time period. We think it should be unlimited.
Look we love Karin with all our heart and we wish her good but sadly the bullys and teachers! We just hate that but its a fun game we look taking care of a child so sweet:)
It is such a good game we played it 2 times it keeps us busy. We cant blame how good it is even our sis has it we are crazy over this but we hope it has a 2 one it is so good LIKE OMG but anyway ya we LOVE IT.
We dont even know how to explain it without spoiling it. Its such a heartbreaking, miraculous, charming, awe-inspiring, superlative, exquisite game. We wish there was more games like this one, so intriguing and creative. There is no other game like this one that will pull you into a story so deep that you find yourself falling in love with your in-game son or daughter. Youll definitely find yourself laughing and crying, with and for them. Whoever sees this comment should get this game.
It was good and it gave a good insight we just wish the game would of lasted longer honestly.
This game is fantastic. Its beautifully written, and shows all of us events that happened and how the lives of not only those who were occupied in WW2 were affected, but the German children who were born/had lived though that period as well. It hurt us to see Karin (my kid of choice) to go through such traumatic events, and pains us more to know that someone went through that (as this game is based of a true story). Im glad they list more info about people who went through something similar for being Lebensborn children. This is a story game, so if you are impatient it will take a while, and we wish it would save if you accidentally deleted (but we understand why you may not), but even still, what a game. Im glad they made this game to raise awareness for the Children Born of War Project. Please play this game!
We love this game but its very sad, we cant believe some people actually had done this to innocent children.
We’re not usually someone to leave reviews on games, but this one deserved it. One playthrough was not enough, and we’re still replaying it three years after our initial purchase. This game is… Wow. It’s brought us to tears so many times. If you can spare the cash, please do. It helps so many people. This game is an absolutely beautiful representation of the trials and tribulations children experienced.
We play this game at least once a year, usually when im having a rly hard time with life and this is the most incredible thing ever to grace the app store. Its worth the money.
The story is so sad and makes us being hate to fictional teachers and bullys in this game because of how visible her/his pain is in the game.
It starts off as this cute game where you raise ur child starts to get sad where they starts questioning their selfs then starts locking theres selfs in closets while crying.
WOW!! This is such an amazing game and teaches you a lot! The graphics are amazing, they story line is LIKE WOW, the game in general is just so adorable and heartbreaking. We cant find the words to describe what an amazing game this is. We got this game about 1 year ago because our cousin recommended it to us. We were in shock when we saw her play. So we downloaded it. When we finished we were in need of a second game because we were crying on how cute and sad the ending was. We finished the game in under 2 days since we were obsessed. Today we are about to start the game again because we really missed it. We hope to see an update on the story line sooner or later!

We played this game about a year ago and we still think about it today. The rollercoasters we felt while playing, the challenges we worried about while playing, the happiness we felt when we achieved something for our child. We would stay up late to play then hope to wake up early so we could play some more. This game and the impact it had on us is truly unforgettable and we’re now that we’re finishing this review, we’re going to redownload and play this masterpiece again.
Hello we barley make reviews but we decided to make a review on this game because its honestly a good game we finished the whole game and we gotta say its a amazing game and stuff can you make a like part 2 to this because we loved it its ok if you dont but love this game.

A excellent game, but we warn caution to those that have trauma to be mindful if they decide to play this game. We formed a connection and bond with Karin, and was heartbroken at the horrendous things that happened to her. We felt defenseless throughout the play-through that we were unable to do anything significant or to punish those that hurt her so much. The story itself made our heart heavy like someone punched a hole right through it. We would like to adddespite this being a one of the best games we’ve played we cant play it again, Im glad we bought this game, but we could never get myself to ever play again, its just too sad. Im happy that the game goes to children who are in similar situations and need our help. This game is definitely here to educate us and to open up our hearts.
Can we please see how Karin/Klaus is doing after we move? Its making us mad and sad :(((((

We’ve had this game for a couple years and Im still in love with it! Ofc we have forgotten its on our phone for months lol, but whenever we go back to play we get obsessed all over again. Such a good story line and good length of play. We wish there were more games like this!

We finished this story a while ago, but its absolutely dramatic, sad, and just so beautiful! We love this stories plot and we will never change the fact that its so beautifully written and plotted.
We’ve always wanted to foster/adopt a child and we were overjoyed when we found this. This game brought us a wave of emotions and a glimpse of what some children go through in life. Thank you for making this. We hope there would be a sequel or part 2 like this game one day.
God this game is heart wrenching. You take care of this seven year old kid, and you have to watch as everyone in their life outside of the home so cruelly acts towards him/her. You see firsthand the effects that children born of war that their trauma does to them, and its just. Its awful. You should definitely play this if you like interactive stories, strategy planning, and of course, gut wrenching stories. We really appreciate how much time and effort the developers put into not only making it such an emotional game, but a historically accurate and therefor educating game as well. Definitely check out their page if you want to know more about how to help the kiddos like the one you care for in this game- we know we do. Play it.
This is an amazing game! We love all the details and designs! So, to the people that leave low reviews saying they wasted there money, or it gets boring real quick: The money gets donated to help people that this actually happens to. And theres so many opportunities to play differently. But, this game is just absolutely amazing!

Im not one for writing game reviews, but this game is really good and worth the price. We feel like its also taught us how to be grateful for things that we get. We know it sounds really weird that a game taught us to be more grateful, but this taught us how people live in poverty. And taught us how much we take for granted. Amazing app! 10/10!!
Our heart throughout this story was torn apart just as it was put back together, Im glad that at the end we were able to move away.
We loved this game (i binge played it) it was very emotional and very educational made us think in a different perspective. It was worth every penny. It is heavily applied that your child is SA which made us cry, so if your sensitive to that keep that in mind.

Most games, youre trying defeat a boss or kill some enemies or win in a competitive arena or something like that. This game? Youre just trying to make it through daily life. This game will make you cry, make your blood boil, test your sense of justice, test your ideas on how to raise a child in a challenging environment. Even the simple artistry has its place, while the strange day-to-day mundaneness of the game feels less like trying to win something and more like a repetitive slog and a labor of lovejust like raising a child. This is human life. This very well could have been your human life; in many ways, it probably is. This game is just excellent storytelling. We really cant say enough good things about it. If youre someone who loves to engage with the breadth and depth of the reality of human experience, with its simple joys, stinging sorrows, and harrowing fears, this game is for you.
It is short (youll be able to complete it in a few hours if you play nonstop), but the storyline is compelling and heartbreaking. It is worth playing just to get an idea of what it was like to live after the war in a hostile area.
Its so sad how she is so upset and its like im actually in a situation with someone but im not this game makes us sad:)
