Its so intriguing and thought provoking. Made us feel like we were in a episode of Rick and Morty.

These games keep getting better and better. Puzzles are all different from the next, and very enjoyable to play. What makes this game very entertaining for us, our brothers name is Mark Taylor. What will we do when he is caught?

Mad Head games is notorious for creating unique and thought provoking games and this one is no exception. The storyline is complex, however very well done! The graphics and special effects are spectacular. There are morphing objects in each hidden object scene with a collectible in others. Character voiceovers are well done. Teleporting map is provided under the menu button. Love the fact that this story is out of the ordinary. We will say, one must really focus and pay attention to detail on this game. Our personal opinion is that this makes it all that more challenging and intriguing. Hidden object scenes are interactive, and the puzzles can be somewhat challenging. Overall, this is a Very creative game & Very Well Done! Highly recommend taking this adventure, as you are transported to different worlds in order to catch up to the villain. Hat’s off to Mad Head games for such Great Entertainment & Thank You Big Fish for releasing more games. Keeps us avid gamers Very Happy Play & Enjoy!!!! KdBoots After reading the negative reviews on this game – Highly suggest that fellow gamers give it a chance. It is so well put together – Challenging and thought provoking yes! However, it is extremely enjoyable – guaranteed to clear. Out any unwanted cobwebs. Thank you again, to the developers for your creativity and Big Fish. Awesome Game!!!! ( p.s. It will make sense if you stick with it)

We enjoyed this game. We are not sure why others had such a hard time with the elevator, puzzles or collectible book things. We have found all of them except on the last battle of the main story and thats because we clicked on the bad guy before we clicked on the book which is our bad. There is a map under the menu arrow but you dont have to jump all over the place to find what you need so the map is not needed.

Innovative gameplay, such as the elevator minigames, lift this allotment above the norm. The game is fairly long. You can go back and get any collectibles/morphing objects that you missed. Puzzles were easy to medium. Hops were list, silhouette, and interactive, with some novel approaches. The story, while interesting, could have been more satisfying if the main characters were more fleshed out. Lots of achievements to win. Overall a solid 4 star game.

We were very excited to see a new release from one of our favorite series created by one of our favorite developers. As we have been progressing through the game, though, some of the excitement has surprisingly dwindled. The plot, although creatively revealed, is disjointed, making it difficult for us to follow. Traveling through the varying portals does expose us to distinct environments, but we feel as though the subplots within each portal do not weave together coherently. A prevailing positive trait is that this developer has created another superior work of art. We just cannot express into words how impressed and pleasingly affected we are by the ingenious details that complement the exquisite atmosphere. Even the subtleties, such as the background music, enrich the overall ambiance of this extraordinary world of fantasy. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick; no glitches to report. It is typical that this developer’s mechanics, such as the action sequences that come into view as side-by-side panels, similar to comic strips, bear some resemblance to Film Noir. This developer is known for implementing stylistic and innovative twists on gameplay, giving them an edge over their peers in the HOA genre. The assorted HOSs are remarkably pioneering, as this developer thinks outside the box to come up with such unique "ideas of wonders." The scene in which you find items in accordance with the shaded items that the typewriter produces is an example. Even though integrating the storyline into the HOSs is current-trending among most developers, this developer does so in an avant garde fashion that sets them apart from their peers. Although they were entertaining, we wish that the puzzles were more challenging. We are not a fan of the repetitive gimmicky puzzles, but we won’t spoil your surprise. The collectibles are well-camouflaged into the background. Based upon the touch-sensitivity issues when acquiring and placing inventory items during the unexpectedly brief free trial, we were not fully committed to purchasing the game. However, remaining faithful to one of our favorite developers, we took the chance and bought it. I, unfortunately, found other grouses with this game. We loathe the implementation of archaic mechanics; often, you must individually place multiples of the same inventory items in both the scenes and the puzzles to effectuate a task, instead of placing them all at once. Furthermore, as usual, the components, such as the map, are accessible from under the Menu. We prefer the story lines from the first few games in this series; this storyline just did not grab our attention. The mesmerizing artwork, as well as some of the twists on gameplay namely, the HOSs are the stars of this production. These attributes, however, are not enough to warrant this game 4 or 5 stars. Therefore, our true rating of 3.5 stars is lowered to a final 3 stars.

Truthfully we love this series but this game was not as good as the its predecessors. Mad Head does give us a good overall experience but still there are quibbles that need to be addressed. The storyline was somewhat difficult to follow at times. The graphics were beautiful but not as crisp as we would have liked. The cut-scenes were fabulous and electric. Inventory items were labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations; unfortunately you must exit the game to do so, as the map is once again located under the Menu tab, along with objectives. At each location you must find a hidden symbol, which resembles a book with a heart. Morphing objects were confined to the HO scenes, which were quirky, creative, unusual and fun to play. Most of the puzzles/ games were simplistic or repetitive; however there were a few which we enjoyed, such as the labyrinth. There wasnt a plethora of tasks at each location, so this game was quite short even inclusive of the bonus adventure. At least the variety of tasks was interesting; we can only repair so many generators (pretty much seen in every game!) One thing missing from this game was Mad Heads use of viewing objects from different perspectives, such as manipulating items by turning them upside down or backwards. There were some touch screen sensitivity issues at play when applying inventory items. However, surprising occurrences transpired when you performed certain actions. We are being deliberately vague so as not to spoil the game for anyone! In addition, we agree with KimTwilight as far as repetitive motions are concerned. Its unnecessary and makes a game feel dated. At least Mad Head does not revisit HO scenes! This game was generally enjoyable but we cannot rate it highly when we look at the shortcomings. Our true rating is 3.5 stars, and thats being generous. Happy gaming, everyone! Six more weeks of winter too, except for where we live. Here we are tortured with heat all year round.

Many varied and original puzzles and HOPs. Labeled inventory labels. Refresh rate is 15 seconds. We have played other games where the refresh rate is 5 seconds. Long-playing. Beautiful graphics. Worth $3.99.

It was ok, we didnt hate it, we didn’t love it. It wasnt our favorite Nevertales. That may be why we were somewhat disappointed, we usually really enjoy this series. It took us forever to finish the game because it wasnt as interesting to us.

We have always enjoyed the Nevertales series. So this one was a must buy! BUT, there are spose to be musical collectibles in some scenes, Im just not seeing AT ALL! In the very first scene theres spose to be a musical instrument by the corner of the building. Am we going blind? Has anyone else found them?

Graphics are beautiful… Storyline confusing, so much, its very confusing to determine next logical move. We’ve had to use hint way too often. And we agree with others who say when they set sound to zero. This means we want zero noise and not have to mute our iPads. We have always loved Nevertales series but this one, not so much.

We enjoyed the game thru the first half. Some puzzles were too difficult making it hard to not rely on hints. In the whole there were some really good ones as well. This would have led to a more favorable review if that is all there was. On the second half of the game, the part they say makes it a collectors edition, we got stuck. Literally. While trying to figure out a puzzle we used the back key 3 times to make sure we had gotten all the collection items. It took us back to the elevator. No matter what we tried we could not go forward again. Even clicking the four y button and having it pop the arrow to move forward no amount of clicking on the screen allowed us to continue our play. We noticed the company had gotten good review for previous games. Our request of the designers going forth would be to do like other games where u can click on the map to fast travel to any area you already have been too. With that we could have completed the game and have given a much better review than only two stars.

The puzzles here are very confusing. There were no instructions, either, so there was guess work, especially inside the elevator, trying to follow the illustration. We followed it by lucky guesses, but we didnt find that to be satisfying. We want to know why Im doing things correctly. We havent found a map yet, either. Even on sale, Ill pass on this one. It seems old, and haphazard. We used to love BF HO adventures, but that was before it was sold. The quality just isnt there anymore.

Freezes and you can’t get it to respond.

Could be good but the interface is horrible! You can barely see anything. Everything is microscopic. You cant see the names of the tools almost at all theyre so small. You can barely tell where in a scene is clickable. And even after you click on areas they often times dont respond respond. The game is actually good if they could completely fix the entire UI.

We experienced the same issue as some others reported. In the western town, it reset at the start of it, then would not let us go any further. Tried to restart game, but still was stuck at the scene. It occurred a couple minutes after we purchased the unlock. Incredibly frustrating.

Just add walker with tennis balls. Throughout the "game" we had to practically throw our IPhone in order to activate objects. Which made the elevator mini game with that geriatric lame old man incessant spouting off… SO incredibly BORING & frustrating… And without a SKIP option. Who wants to see -much less interact with – a dusty old man with a gravelly voice..? Sporting thick glasses, a plaid oxford and Mom jeans? YUCK. We can hear his diapers crunching. The redundancy is KILLING ME. Having to select NINE individual objects in the Mini-Game? Rather than add them as a group? Same with other items crawling along senior citizens way… It only adds slag time… It’s slow and decrepit… Oh wait! Now we get it! The old man is the "poster boy"! Neat. We just can’t get past the storyline: BORED. The primary coloring? SERIOUSLY?! And without a SKIP lifeline? The HINT pen spinning around in a circle served NO purpose- was excessively distracting and added lag to the process. LOSE THE GLASSES! The game itself was WAY too short, and again, didn’t have enough cool, inventive and challenging HOP/Mini-Games or interesting new ideas to make it worth while. We do appreciate, as always, the really brilliant realistic graphics, colors and scenery. We would like to see more from MAD HEAD Games, (Neighbors with ELEPHANT in Serbia) but really super ramped up, as complex and challenging as possible. We are desperate for a new, fresh and exciting game to come out ASAP -something to wipe away the cobwebs from the latest slew of mediocrity … Please. Especially donning PREMIUM Banners… Disgracing the word. It’s barely unleaded… Ha. Miss LC in SF.

Ever pray to flipping finish a game just because you paid got it an want it to be over. Tedious is a compliment.

We dont love this game. We bought it but we will not finish it. Just has a stupid storyline.

Pet peeve: games that have sound controls but the sound stays on even after you set them all to zero. Nope. Deleting.
