Weeks of painstaking effort is about to pay off. Great capitalist style game. We love the theme and the politicians names.
Just started though we cant get any businesses yet what do we do? Update: we just had to close all the apps we opened now it is fixed.
We’ve had to delete and reload the game 9 times and it finally lets us play it. Now we can play it we love it.
Recently we’ve had an issue with ads where they wont load so we lose our bonuses. This game is pretty fun but losing the bonuses really affects progression.
Not sure if this game is good or not because its bugged out and wont let us do anything past selecting a party and then doesnt let us do anything else.
We were a far of the original Pocket Politics game so we thought Id give the new one a try. Well, the tutorial wont even launch right. The trailer park is completely missing and the only thing it lets us do is select a candidate. Which is useless if we cant collect money at all. We tried restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and nothing worked. Im highly frustrated, as well as sad because we were anticipating a great game.
We love the kongregate producers. We download many games by them, but sadly this one is bugging out ! We downloaded it tonight and was trying to play. We got someone on stage and then was prompted to do the next step but sadly there is no other choice we can make. We deleted the game and re downloaded it to see if it helped but, there is no money. No options. The free stands to we guess start making money are grayed our and we cant click them. We clicked something to upgrade and it said go to store and said yes and it just kicked us off. Im sorry ! Hope you all fix it soon. Im assuming its new, so maybe formats just need updating. Who knows? Still love you guys.
After we select our candidate, the screen changes and Even the little cog disappears. Im unable to do anything else.
All it does is let us select a candidate. We cant buy the trailer park to start earning money.
Once game is fixed we will play.
After we select our candidate, theres nothing else to do. It appears the tutorial just stops and doesnt do anything else.
We had previously given a low rating as the game was a major waiting game. Now it has a good balance. There are times when we get a bunch done and then it it stalls so we have to come back to the game later. Only reason we did not give 5 stars is because there are still times when the goal is unreasonable for the level of the game.
Updated: battery life issue mitigated we really do enjoy this game. There is strategy once you figure out all of the ins and outs of the gameplay. Yes, there was one level that took us about four weeks to complete, which was frustrating but the events are fun. Our gripe is that the latest update is KILLING our battery. Our iPad isnt that old and if we play for an hour, our plugged in device will lose 1/4 of its charge. Dev.s – please, please, please fix this issue.
The game is great! Expect the quests.. For example, you could be asked to build 1100 upgrades as one of the last quests, and all of the other quests could have been build 200 upgrades here. So youll price max out your upgrades, but they want you to buy another 1100, even though youve already bought 1500+. Poorly thought out system, sometimes breaks the game.
This game is really funny and awesome for example the names of the people are funny and deserves a 5 in our opinion. But we see people saying omg this game is so bad or super laggy and dumb but we are not picking a fight but not every thing is perfect thx for making this game.
We have read reviews saying that you cannot access the shop. We were confused at first too and would like to say that shop shows up as you progress through the game. Great game with hilarious cartoons!
So we been playing and it says to visit shop but there isnt a shop and theres nothin that tell you how much money you have and it doesnt really make sense because we dont know how to get hire people for automatic.
You should make it easier in the events to automate the lobby and the other one and the new building and you also shouldnt pick a Side it looks like you guys want the democrats to win we should get to Choose between conservative and liberal In the events but fix those things and the game would be great thats the only reason Im not giving 5 its more about we cant automate the lobby and the other stuff with out purchasing from in app purchases but other than that this game is great love it thank you for bein awesome.
We’ve enjoyed playing this game so far, we like the style and think the mechanics are interesting, like other kongregate games, however our progress has been completely halted by the buy x businesses missions. Im stuck at level 12 currently, and we are on the last mission before the next city. The three available missions are buy donor booths which we have 250 of and would need to buy 100 more (would take likely weeks), buy Silicon Valley which we have 145 of and need 135 more (this mission is essentially impossible), and then the last mission which we just got is buy 1500 businesses which at our current level could take who knows how long. Every time we see one of these missions we shrug because we know that they are impossible and we just have to do the other missions instead but we knew that eventually we would end up in a scenario where we would have all three slots taken by this mission. We think these missions should be changed to own x businesses because that way if someone has already bought a lot of one business, they have not screwed themselves, but actually helped themselves. Im not sure if this is what was intended for these missions to be; the numbers for these missions suggest that maybe they are supposed to function as own x businesses missions instead, but in its current form, they are impossible and we cannot continue the campaign as long as the buy x businesses missions are still here. In short, enjoyable game but please change the buy x businesses missions to own x businesses so we can continue playing this game!
Fun game but so addicting. Couldnt stop playing and our wife left us. We dont recommend if you want to be the least bit productive.
Open a crate… Crash! Watch an ad… Crash! Buy a business… Crash! Edit: a device reboot did fix a lot of the crashing. Im updating to 3 stars from one since the devices we have running the game seem to need periodic reboots for it to keep working. The game play is really fun though.
Entertaining game, funny stuff included. But it forces us out of the game about every 30 seconds.
We actually like this game, but the ads will start playing then it freezes up. Please fix this.
It was fun and addicting at first, but its VERY pay to play (not to be confused with pay to win) once you make some progress. A campaign is 50 levels (give or take), once you hit level 10 or so, boring and very pay to play. Some of their other games are WAY more balanced.
Some levels are impossible to pass and its irritating.
We’ve tried to replay the original every so often over the last couple years and it of course wasnt functional anymore. Was excited when this came out, but its not near as fun as the first.
Enjoyed it for the first few days. Levels were easy to proceed though and the mix of active and idle time was good until we hit level 12. We only need 1 take to finish the level and the 3 tasks we have are not achievable. 2 are buy X amount of a specific business and the other is buy 10000 of any business. We sat idle for 2 days and was barely able to put a dent into any of them. If they would have given previous credit for the business we had purchased in this level it might be achievable. Events are fun for the first level but then the managers levels required to be idle are much higher than the cards you have received. Unless you spend a lot of money there is no way to peg its unless you want to constantly press the mangers to collect the cash.
The game was fun for a day, when it opened. It was engaging and entertaining but a day after downloading and playing it, it wont even open. It get about 80 percent on the loading the quits. We’ve since deleted it.
Cant even get past level 1 cause the store wont open. Dont bother with this one until they fix it. UPDATE: for everyone saying they cant hire people and cant get to a store, you have to click on the black silhouette. The game never tells you how and after an hour or so, stumbled on to it by accident. We’ve played many idle games but this one doesnt really teach you and isnt as intuitive as they probably think it is.
We enjoy the game, but in the events section it is extremely difficult to automate collection. The main reason for this is that the level needed to automate a station isnt tied to the level of the event. Often times Ill advance to the next level only to find that a critical station in the chain requires an update of TWO levels (one more than the level of the event). Ill finally get enough to automate that station and at the next level a different station will jump two levels to automate. Eventually Im so far behind that we cant automate anything.
The devs have been aware of the bug buy X building for months and refuse to fix. We were stuck on level 12 for 2 months because they did not address the issue. Customer service did nothing to assist other than to tell us they are working on it. This ISNT an issue in their other idle games which means they know exactly how to fix it. It needs to be reach level x not get x since get cannot be completed if youre far along in the level. Such an easy to fix bug. When we got to level 13 and saw the same bug persisted, we immediately uninstalled. This game is not supported and you should save your efforts and certainly dont open your wallet for a game theyre not fixing issues in.
Works just fine on our Android, tried logging in to play on our Apple and it just keeps crashing.
We cant put a candidate on the stage it crashes. We cant upgrade a manager it crashes. We cant open the free crate of manager or candidate cards it crashes. Sometimes the simple act of opening the game makes it crash. If we werent so stubborn, we wouldnt have even the meager progress we’ve managed. We have to reopen the game ten or twelve times to get two minutes of gameplay.

We’ve downloaded this game 4 times trying to play and it will not load.
The eggs we spent hours gathering and spending every dollar to build up and they tell you to spend them in trade or you will lose them but guess what they lied there is[ no place to trade them what a joke this game was really cool till they pulled that one out keep up the bad work and have terrible day.
Event needs rebalancing its too hard to upgrade the donor collector an even managers , not enough upgrade token being rewarded. We would not have moved past city 4 if we would have known you have to upgrade each manger every new city , now Im at city 9 an have to do everything by hand. Im quoting this event hopefully you will fix it by the next one.
Horrible service and game. Took 3.5 days to download turned out it wasnt worth waiting for.
This was really fun for a couple weeks, but stagnanted at lvl 12. Buildings would give u billions, but cost AB to upgrade, so eventually youd get +10 per day at most (it takes 50 to level up). Today we started the new event for an hour, got everything automated, then they all just stopped moving. We restarted the app and all of our progress was reset. No way Im spending an hour randomly tapping it all over again, byeeeee.
We’ve only made it to the second tutorial level, and there is already a bug preventing us from progressing more in the game. In this tutorial level, they ask the player to hire citizens to manage the donors, so the money will be automatically raised. However, there is no option to hire them. We watched the gameplay videos and it shows the silhouette of a character that the player is supposed to tap on and then hire. There is no silhouette. We have messaged them about it already and no reply. We have deleted and re-downloaded to see if that was the problem. It wasnt.
Picked conservation and started off collecting at a trailer park.
Game continuously crashed upon opening.

It is fun to play most of the time, but sometimes it can be a little boring because youre waiting to get more money to reach a very purchase which could take awhile to complete also it should get another update.
Since we got the new iPhone we cant see how much money we have. Which is pointless now if we cant see how money we have.
We just recently got back into playing the first pocket politics then we stumbled across this one in search of the first one. We gave this one a try not near as fun. We saw great potential in it its just to slow compared to the first one. We still enjoy the first one much more.
We enjoyed this game in the beginning but we have literally been stuck on the same level for MONTHS. The goals to progress versus the rate of collection are impossible to meet. We’ve noticed that your other apps have been regularly updated but this one seems to have been basically tossed. We really hope that the devs would update the game and address/fix the issues.
