The overall game is great. The visuals, progression, and aesthetic feel good. The problem we have is with the progression in Events. By halfway through the event it is difficult to automate ANYTHING, much less the 3 youd need to go idle. We finished a previous event, so we understand that finishing one requires more active play. But its way too much. The event progression structure needs serious reworking IMO. Otherwise its just not fun.
We would like more tutoring before we are our own.
Just not too good either. Playing still waiting for it to get better.
Like all the reviews say it is broke so we will go in a room where there is a satellite.
For the past few days the game lags very bad. We dont know if this is a dev issue because The Trail is now doing the same thing. The lag makes these games unplayable. But we loved the game before the lag issue. Please help fix the lag problem.
Enjoyable and draws you in ever deeper and wanting to continue further… However, fatal flaw in that its totally dependent on 1st two buildings getting automated (camp and gatehouse); if not able to do so, you need to spend hours manually working the transportation… Secondly, we think the balance of costs and rewards needs a lot of work; we think building growth is too level(!), and rewards too little (elixir, cards, etc) Building growth: it seems that, often, you can upgrade all buildings at once, they are too close in cost… Should be a bit harder imho… But fix rewards as well, please… Sometimes you get stuck on 1 villager upgrade for days! Perhaps a refresh of available cards for elixir purchases, a button, we mean…
The current event does not work after you finish the first town. It goes to start the second and it never loads.
This is a fun game but after we got to level 6 it started closing on its own and when we reopen the game we lose everything that we have done. Please fix this and then we will give a five star rating.
This game has some potential … Except that it crashes a lot. You can never play for a whole two mins without the app crashing . We hope their dev team is aware of this and are finding a fix .

Would be a fun idle game except it keeps crashing since we had to upload additional data/update. We deleted it and tried again several times not only did we lose our progress but now it crashes before we can even start playing.
We were just getting into this game and enjoying it, but it forced us to update and now it just crashes every time it starts. Please fix!
Cant play for more than 30 seconds without it crashing.
Played for hopes and got up to level 13, even decided to throw some money at the game because we were enjoying it and wanted to say thanks. Then we realized we could connect our kongregate account to the game… Boom… Gone, all save data, it started all over from the beginning, tried logging out, force closing the app, nothing worked… Deleted the app, very disappointing.
Requires upgrade of characters, but you have to pay money to get far in this game!
You spend too much time grinding for a single card.
What we like about the game is the concept of levels and quests. Unfortunately this isn’t an idle game at all. It’s nothing more than a blatant cash grab. By the time you pass the first few levels you won’t be able to automate anything without spending a substantial amount of money which means lots of tapping and tapping and tapping. If you think that’s bad, wait till you try an event. Almost zero automation there, just a non-stop tap fest. Disappointing as this could be a great game if they could reign in their greed just a little.
The game crashes constantly. Crashes make it so we lose some time and so we cant get boosts from watching ads – watched a few adds now, never get the boosts due to crashing.
When are developers going to get it, not all people play on there iPads in portrait mode, especially when we have keyboards attached to iPad Pros.
Developers, why are you updating this game every second day. After every update, we have to wait for the next update to try play the game. Your current update hangs and does not allow us in at all, if it carries on like this, we think we would just delete the game and try some other game. Get you act together because this game has some potential but not at the current way it is developed.
We do enjoy the main gameplay but, the events leave something to be desired. We have to wait for the characters that are going to be used for the events to appear as level one characters before we can actually automate them. All characters should already be at level one so we can automate them immediately. Then, we have to wait every four hours to get a free chest. For events, it should only be every two hours before getting a free chest. Also, during the event, when we finish the first level and move on to the second most characters have to be level four or five before they can be automated again. It would be much easier if the characters had to be at least a level two or three to instead. Finally, more cards should be given for characters. Ex. We’re given only one card for a character that needs to be at a certain level but, itvwould simplify things if at least four or five cards were always dealt instead to make leveling up easier. In fact, the first time we did an event, it actually took us the entire four days just to finally automate all of the characters for the event.
We really enjoy This game its fun.
A fantasy version of the Wild West game, but like similar games you need to spend some resources (not necessarily premium ones) to get cards that activate the automate feature. Otherwise, some buildings will not produce anything while youre away. The higher the level, the more resources youll need to draw enough random cards to turn on the automate feature. Eventually youre going to just have to keep tapping in game to generate any income because it takes too many resources to automate even the basic buildings. Its more of a tap game than an idle game in that sense. To make it a true idle game, they should at least always enable automation of one production building, the cart that collects them, and the vehicle that hauls the cargo away to generate cash. That way players will always generate some revenue while idle, even if its a small amount.
There is a massive game breaking bug that resets your entire progress randomly at least 3 times a week. You need to complete the tutorial for it to be restored. Until this is fixed we recommend everyone uninstall and not spend any money.
Always updating so you never get to actually play the game. Takes 8-9 hours for 1 update. You would think they would figure out to stop. Events are horrible. Rewards are not worth playing. No your sorry we pointed out your mistake. Its an iOS game and like every one else your another greedy company trying to make even more money off the problem going on right now.
Game is unplayable right now. Progress resets multiple times per day. Cant stay logged in to kong account. Have played through the tutorial FTUE more times than your entire QA team have, obviously.
This is the same exact game as their Idle Frontier, just reskinned for a medieval type theme. The art is fantastic. The game is not idle, nor clever. There is a lot of potential for an actual idle, medieval city building type game. If thats what youre looking for, this isnt it. This is a click fest. It is just as terrible as the frontier game, and by the looks of other reviews theyre as tone deaf to player feedback here as they are with the frontier game. Dont waste your time. Also, customer support seems to ignore everyone in the reviews and forum comments who complain. Its a waste of time. They dont care about players, just the money some people spend.
Game was going good up until this last week when a bunch of people had their games reset from the beginning and we all lost our progress along with all of our purchases. Tickets were opened and no fixes other than log into your Kongregate account, which we have been doing but it doesnt fix anything. Server will disconnect while playing and youll start over yet again.
Crashes literally every five minutes. Great news though, with the new update the game doesnt load now, Great work.
We would have given this game a 4 but since we updated it yesterday we cant play it. We even removed it and tried to start over. It keeps shutting down. We hope you can fix it because we did enjoy it.

Good game but how do you unlock the second tent.

The main game is fun, but the challenges are impossible to win without spending money. This would be okay- we dont expect to win special events- but this game doesnt even try to give players a chance to win. After round one, the requirements become so high that no one can advance more than one or two rounds without spending a lot of money.
No event last week and it looks like none scheduled this week either. Kind of boring without.
We have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the top of the game doesnt show. We cant see how much money we have.
We typically enjoy this kind of game… Start at a small level and grow enough to carry on to more advancing settings. HOWEVER – the vast majority of the video ads for bonuses are 3-part interactive ads. This is the only game of about 15-20 games that we play that use these types of ads. They consist of 3 10-second segments. They take 3-4 for each segment to load before the 10-second timer begins, and it will not proceed to the next segment until you physically press a green button at the top. The topics displayed in the ads are of no concern to us – diseases/health conditions we dont have or the opinions/events of Hollywood/sports celebs that we dont care anything for. These ads have often made us want to delete the game entirely, and we CERTAINLY WILL NOT donate a cent of real money to this game (as we do several of our other games) because of their choice of ads that they developers run. And no, we will not be answering any questions concerning our demographics or interests so that you can personalize our ad experience.
We reached out to support three days ago about the vip status we paid for that is not working and have received no response. If you cannot fix it just give us our money back.
We like how the rate of progress doesnt dramatically slow down after a while like a lot of games. We enjoy the art style and diverse selection of character cards. We enjoy how what type of building u get for that town changes every level. Im still confused on how some of the events work and how we a brain stars. Something we would love to see it that as you upgrade the building it visually upgrades it too. We love it when games do that. But over all our favorite game by kongregate.

Constantly freezing when we try to download data. Extremely annoying and frustrating. And it is still not freezing uuugg.
However, we will NEVER watch another ad on this app. Id rather delete the app. It constantly goes to Web MD ads that do not close as well as many other ads that do not close. Apple has stated this is the apps fault, NOT the people doing the advertisements, these are ads they have chosen to show. Apple said to give these apps one star since it is not the ads fault, but the apps that these ads do not close.
This is a good game to waste time when you want something to do besides what you probably should be doing. But when that the case you dont want the audio playing so you turn it off. However, every time you switch between the Main screen and the event screen or when an ad starts the music starts blaring. In the game you have to jump to the settings and turn the music off so you can turn it off again. In the ad you have to search for the mute button. This is so annoying. STOP RESETTING THE SOUND TO ON EVERYTIME. You fix that and Ill add another star or two.
This game keeps us engaged and keeps us tapping. Its just the amount of engagement we want in a casual idle and we love the art style. We are looking forward to seeing what kinds of events they run with this game in the future!
Kongregate is one of our favorite game developer. This game has an ease of play that is satisfactory. Why this review is 3 stars… Its not playable. We have tried everything in our book to hopefully not crash the game. We got a couple of good times where we played for at least 3 minutes but then the game would crash. We try to get back on and it would just continually crash. Come on Devs! We have played almost all of your games and none ever crashed like this one… Until its fixed we cant play it as Im so frustrated with the crashing…
This is a good game and we play a lot of idle games. The game crashes a lot and almost every time we try too level up our characters.
The graphics are very poor compared to their Frontier Idle game, but its fun to play at the moment. Just update graphics, the pig shouldnt have such a bulbous head…
