Here we go again the CHEATING UPDATE, we expect they gonna drain our chips cause we won a tournament lol.
Its the best because it doesnt have all that crap and noise and flashing bing bong, lights, and stupid tip, the computer dealer buttons, and other crap that fills the screen on other apps. The tournaments are great and you guys do a great job.
We agree the computer play is rigged to get you to buy more chips. Like donkey, we have never loss on the river so much in other poker games, but we do like poker stars best.

We are unable to open help or support on the site. We did lose our chat privileges and wanted to reinstate them but we cant get any help or support.
If you try to buy the lowest/cheapest option for chips to play with, the store states that there was an error when trying to purchase. But if you select the more expensive options it no longer has that problem . It has been this way for a long time. Poker Stars wants to scam you.
Is there a way to switch from a players flag to the name of their country?
Lets get this out of the way 1st. Its a free game with real people not an app with AI. So the chips are free, 15K every 4 hours we think. But you can also buy them, up hundreds even thousands of real dollars. We have grown our free $1k into over 10 million twice, and over 6 figures many times. Its the bad play of people with free chips. That is part of what makes this possible. Know that poker stars makes money on this site by selling those same free play money chips. The algorithms are designed for excessive coolers, and promoting the bad play. Such as AA, consistently losing, more than the 20% they would in real poker vs any random 2 cards, like 2.9os. The amount of bad beats on here are ridiculous. Sometimes we even take advantage of this, seeing we suckout with the worst hand sometimes even being dominated. At the end of the day, its a free game vs other real people world wide. Just dont use the any 2 will do strategy that work on here in any real cash game or real tournament. Its just so sickening to see idiots play so bad, then suckout with garbage after you trap them. The same pre-flop when some idiot is jamming any 2 cards, and u trap with a big hand and there they go jamming only to make runner, runner boat or flush. Or you have a larger set to see them make quads. Just a piss poor excuse for the algorithms on here, its the worst. But its the only game in town.
Though they keep claiming the hands are not set the dealing is not random. The site may or may not favor certain players but the dealing is not realistic or random. The game tries to keep multiple people in the hand with many outs, only to be beat on the river. For example, we just played a game, and within 5 hands we had three of a kind twice, once on the flop, the second time after the turn, only to be beat both times with a straight on the river. This is not an anomaly. The game wants to keep you in the hand thinking you can win. It is not random dealing. We repeat. Not random. The algorithms may not favor anyone but it is not realistic dealing.
Glitchy since recent update and today wont open at all. Just says connecting.
It doesnt deserve one star. It deserves to be deleted from the App Store. Possibly the worst poker app we’ve ever played in our life.
This game app is crashing way too many times! We’ve played now 2 days,totall of 12 tournaments(10hrs+logged in),and it froze/crashed more than 6 times! No way Im going to put real money here and play cash games! Very lame job developers!

This would be so awesome if you could just allow the club manager to see the # of rebuys each player had in the tournament history results. Pretty pleeeeease!!!
Our main complaint is is someone leaves the game without completing play it just blinds them out. Sometimes it takes forever to play it off. There such be a forfeit option.
We played 50/50 for a long time then it disappeared. What gives?,
Like others have said the software is not random. Im not gonna say its rigged because it doesnt seem to favor any one player. But the way the hands play out over and over again like a pattern will be obvious to anyone who has played real poker, its NOT random. We swear theres a 2 pair curse, we have never lost with 2 pair so many times, we win with 2 pair less than 5% of the time. We’ve also noticed the more outs you have the less likely you will win the hand. The software seems to favor the person that has the least chance of winning, 1 or 2 outers. We miss open enders with flush draws and with top pair like hot cakes. We cant tell you how many times we’ve flopped top set with a flush draw just to lose to a gut shot. Its a great source to kill time and have some fun, but if you take it seriously and get super competitive it will just leave you in a fit of rage. The software and interface is super clean and user friendly, and the throwables add a fun element to it as well. As far as graphics and interface go, pokerstars is the best app for online poker.
Ldnt keep a lemon aid stand running properly. And management could care less except for outrageous pot skimming.
Another reason we never play real money on PokerStars. There have been so many bad beats it is unbelievable that one would never see in IRL. For example the last we play. Pocket Qs and raised to the pot per flop and another person calls. On the flop all the cards are less than 10 and this person goes all in thinking they have a pair so we call, no they have. 9-4 and ends up winning with two pair.
This game is almost unplayable. Almost every table has half or more BadAce6789 or SickTilt2936 or countless other accounts all with two short words and 4 numbers. Deleting the app after a month.

Just like all the rest ! It will feed you a couple small wins then you cant even win with a full house, someone elses is higher.. Lol.. The chances of 2 full houses in draw poker with 3 people is low! They put bots at Omaha tables that play together and just keep taking turns going all in before the flop and no matter how good your hand you lose! Its all rigged so you get hooked and purchase chips. Save your money for the casino !
So we’ve been reading other reviews ,good hands being beat by bad calls n all though we play only play money the cards are not the same as a live game we agree with another guy not sure if poker stars dose take ur chips so u can buy more but it sure dose look like it John.
Excellent app. Play it every day. Unfortunately we have to play the free money version but it is still fun. We call it good practice. :). PokerStars does a great job. Grateful!
Unreal frequency of one and two out suckouts on the river tells us everything we need to know about the aptly nicknamed Jokerstars. But if you have the four flush and an up and down straight draw after the flop, even with all those outs it never draws out. But thats supposed to be random and normal. Pretty sure they use bots to manage and manipulate. When they decide they are going to trim your stack because you arent buying chips youll go through dozens and dozens of pairs of hole cards looking for a playable hand while they blind you off. Then get pocket Ks or As after an eternity and watch as a bot goes all in with rags and gets runner runner on the turn and river for a set. All you can do is stop playing for a while and hope their algorithm has forgotten about you. Answer this review Jokerstars. You may have a RNG but you also have a manipulated game.
This app is actually BAD for your game. Its rigged deal is teaching you nothing about reality. But WHY??? Whats the point? Its a free money game? We guess they do sell larger amounts of coinsbut at what cost? We would *NEVERin a million years play Poker Stars real money games knowing how they can fix the fake money games so easily. Pass. The application does not allow people to go all in when a hand is immediately dealt At least not on an apple iPad. We have downloaded the most recent version, but the platform technically does not provide a player any choices, other than fold or check during the first hand being dealt. Further in the game, it allows it, but not at the first hand.. This is a technical problem with the platform. We have witnessed other players go all in immediately on the first hand, but this choice is not allowed for us and probably some other players. Additionally, they will only allow you the help of a virtual assistant. Thats a joke.
Don’t spend a dime on it. Youve been warned.

The app looks good and plays well, deals seem random enough, however a large enough minority of players that use this app like to play all in bingo on every hand (regardless of the stakes) so much so that they end up sucking the enjoyment out of playing. We’ve tried many times to find a table where players arent crazed lunatics and rarely do. Its a 5 star app that the players have whittled down to 2 in our experience.
It seems to us the hands dealt are enhanced for lively action. Way too many strong hands come out, especially for the three handed games. It would be nice to find an app that was more realistic.
Very poor customer service. The contact us email doesnt work. We can no longer play in the play money app, since the last update, it doesnt allow you to go to the tables. Its almost like theyve done away with the play money side in search of a more lucrative business from the real money side The help doesnt work. The best value chips bundle button will not work, forcing us to buy a lesser value package (less than half the play money chips for exactly half of the best value price). Support has pointed the finger at our phone, Apple Pay, our banking institution (which we switched over to a second institution, proving that idea to be all wet too, deleted the app and reinstalled it, cleared the web data and cache, among other things, all to no avail.
The purpose of this game is to show people how bad gambling is. Probably made by angels to warn people. If you want to experience how injustice and cruel poker is, try this app.
For a month now, the site has refused to honor requests to buy chips at the $19.99 level. The subtext is that they are consciously demanding we spend more to buy chips. We’ve submitted requests for help, which have gone nowhere.

We’ve studied the probabilities and odds of poker for more than a decade and know that on this site they do not apply. Even if you play only the top 5% of starting hands, and flop a set or top two pair, youre going to loose by the River to some junk hand that would never even be playing in real poker. We’ve concluded its a ripoff designed to take your chips and causes you to develop poor poker habits. Id love the site if it were random cards but its rigged.
Firstly the algorithms they use are not even close to random. We lost to a straight flush twice in January and we only play once a week. We also won with multiple 4 of a kinds in the same time period. We play live cards enough to know this should not happen. Also they constantly require you to update the app and they are huge updates like twice a week sometimes. How could such a simple app require 100mb updates every week? Nothing worse than logging in to play a scheduled game with friends and having to miss the first ten hands cuz youre updating the app.
If we had a dollar for each time the app just crashes after a hand id have a lot of dollars!

We’ve been playing PM Poker Stars for approximately two years. In the last month or two we have been unable to purchase play money bundles at various levels. Currently, we are able to purchase only at one level, getting a message when we attempt to make a purchase that says words to the effect that the purchase attempt was unable to be completed, and that we should try again later. Whats unusual is that we can make the one-level purchase using the same credit card, yet still receiving this aforementioned message for purchases at any other level. We’ve tried changing credit cards and reinstalling the app, but no luck. We’ve even sent our log files to Poker Stars and havent received a response other than one time when we were told that the files hadnt been received. We’ve re-sent the files a couple more times, but still no response. Help!
This app is highly unethical. If you ever purchase coins, you have to continue purchasing coins or you will never win ever. Im not gonna go into horror stories about bad beats because we promise you,When we see you will lose hands that arent actually possible to lose besides like maybe one time in 1 million. You will lose them every time and we mean every time. If you do not purchase coins, you will not get to play very long we can promise that as well. And we dont know what in the world they are talking about with challenges and all that. Because theres not one challenge on the entire app, their leader board doesnt even work. This is a racket for you to spend money on fake coins that have no value and we understand paying for entertainment but the love of God dont waste your money here.
Only place to play free mixed games and sit n gos of all variety. Would like to see more non turbos but we understand why they are most common on this app.
Its fun and have enjoyed playing all day for the last 2-3 days. We’ve actually played it way to much but Im looking to find a different one now. We were looking into playing online with real money but we absolutely wouldnt do it with this company/app. As we’ve played we’ve noticed 4-5 times now that we seem to lose to a worse hand when we’ve been able to see the opponents hand. We thought we just over looked something since it goes fast sometimes but we just had it happen again with one we know for sure we should have won. We had flush vs 3 jacks and somehow lost. We even went to look at the poker hand rankings to see if they used something different than normal but nope even according to the rules inside the app we should have won. Stopped playing earlier today since it seems even with the stronger winning hand you can still lose somehow. We wouldnt want to have that happen with real money so wont be using this app anymore. Dont waste time playing since its random anyways unless you just want to waste time.
Why have prestige badges if you cant even unlock them? We’ve played well over 5k hands and didnt get the 2 pair badge. It says play 5k real money hands. YOU CANT. Honestly, all we want is that 2 pair badge.
