Postknight 2 Review
Postknights is a really good game but there really is no good gameplay its fun at first but then gets repetitive and you start to see the same thing over and over nothing really changes and it gets boring after awhile. Its a solid game somewhat good story not as good gameplay but great rpg style.
We LOVE THIS GAME! We just wanna get this out of the way first because some of our love comes from that we played the first one and want a third one to come out sooner than later, but there are a few things that changed between the both of them. Here are the most important. 1. There are new weapons types!!!! It use to be only a sword and shield but now they have added a hammer and daggers. The daggers are good for quick attacks while the hammer is slower but puts out more damage. Personally we use the hammer a lot. 2. The story is a little slow but gets super fun the longer you play it, no spoilers ;) 3. Make sure to give the NPCs gifts. The more hearts they gain the better the rewards. 4. Dont put your stats into only one thing. This may seem redundant but if you only pour your stat points into one stat you will get stuck eventually, thankfully this game is very forgiving and lets you make those mistakes as you need without too much of a consequence. 5. Dont rush in. Be careful to not just rush into a hoard of enemies, you will get swarmed and killed. Trust us. 6. Have fun with it. Make your own story, its so much more fun to play alongside your friends and make up more stories. Thats about all the tips we have for this one, remember we do have biases so make sure to form your own opinions, and the best thing is that its free, so you dont have to gamble and loose money if you dont like it. We played the first game and we were confused when we saw that there was a sequel but when we played it it was so much better with the new weapons there are more ways to play the game Im only at the second town but so far we’ve had lots of fun!
This game is legitimately one of the best things we have ever played. Like we’ve never played the first one but this is one of our all time favorite games, second only to Minecraft. The characters are adorable, we like the storylines, we love the fighting and the creature designs, and our lil salamander friend is so unbelievably cute!! Like when we got to adopt our little salamander (named morel, after the mushroom) we legitimately almost threw our iPad hes so cute. 10/10 game, would recommend to everyone ever.
Our first introduction to this series was back a few years ago, and ever since we’ve been infatuated with the games. We were part of the early-access testing group and even then we didnt remember seeing any bugs. And even the bugs we’ve seen in the full (out) game, dont affect the experience whatsoever. They did a great job, the Postknight team, in creating a beautiful game filled with things to do. Perfect time killer that boots up in seconds, being the great game on the go and when youve got nothing to do. Great story, game mechanics, and the cutesy chibi art style really honors the first installment, and they did this game justice. There is zero ads, which isnt common with todays mobile games, and its very addictive. Thank you Postknight Devs!
We have been looking for a game like this for a long time. We’ve tried many different options but none of them were as satisfying as this one. Its fun and relaxing. The only thing stopping us from playing this forever is if we occasionally die.
We used to play the original Postknight all the time, and this sequel is everything we need. We love Postknight and Postknight 2, they show what a mobile game should be.
This game is wonderful. The amount of time and effort that mustve been put into it is astounding, and everything is beautiful. Yes, it can be slow to load sometimes, and people may have creative differences with it, because art is in the eye of the beholder. However, its undeniable that this game is a work of art. Interactive characters and a fun story, clever dynamics and a fun fighting system, things to collect and people to talk to on top of that, there arent even required adds! This game is awesome, and we cant begin to describe how lucky we feel for having found it. Props to whoever made this, because good apps are hard to find and this is one-in-a-million. We played the first game and it was great but it had less glitches. When we first got the game we loved it better graphics new weapons and even more enemys. We played it for a while and we beat the first village and we tried the second village but it was hard but eventually we got to 2-25 and after the dialogue our character did not move an inch so we cant progress in the story. Please fix this we want to finish this game.
This is a great game, but whenever we collect rewards it kicks us out and forgets our progress. Pls fix, thx for this game! Also, after the update, the levels wont start. We began Perolla 2/25 in pompon where Leader Haman comes up and threatens us, and after Almond runs after him our character wont start the level.
The language still cant afford Chinese.
We love this game. We loved the original when we were younger and this game improved it in every way, except the bugs. One specific bug actually. At the level 3-14 we cannot progress. It will show the dialogue scene between Almond and Amethyst and then thats it. The playable character will just stand there and no matter what we click nothing will happen. Like we said we love this game, but we would love it more if they fixed this.
We’ve only had this game for a couple days but it’s starting to be one of our favorite games we have! The artstyle is adorable & every character (including monsters) is unique. If we were to compare it to any game we think we would say stardew valley. We definitely recommend this game!
The game is fun and the story is too cute and funny. Even tho we had an issue that we needed to contact customer service for (human error, we will admit) the customer service in their discord was quick and resolved within hours. We love this game and cant wait to get our fire salamander! We recommend this game and the company that makes. Yes we are real person. Ha ha.
Let us start by saying this is one of the best free games on the App Store, we have been playing for days without hitting a pay wall block and have not gotten bored yet. The characters have interesting dialogue and personality and the character customization; while limited, is appreciated. The only reason we would give it 4/5 is for all the bugs that the game devs are still clearly working out.
Its easy for us to quit games after a few weeks or so of playing, but PK2 is a really special game. Its easy to play for short sessions or long binges if you have the resources. None of the microtransactions grant overwhelming gameplay advantages, and its easy to play for free without encountering a huge wall. By far, the thing that keeps us coming back is the wholesome story and its charming characters. We really enjoyed getting closer to bond characters day by day and even the smallest side quest has something to say about forgiveness or believing in the best in people. Kurechii has made an addictive and pleasant game that you dont see anywhere else on the App Store, and Ill be remembering its world for many years to come. Keep up the good work!
This is one of the most simple and adorable games we’ve played! Theres in game purchases of course but they are very reasonable for the fact that we received good rewards. And the story is simple and enjoyable. Wish there was multiplayer though or co-op.
This is our favorite game of the series. They took everything they learned from Postknight 1 and improved on it in 2. This has been our go to game for the better part of 2022. The game runs really smooth on the iPhone 14 and it does not lag or crash.

Absolutely adore this game: its visuals and storytelling elements really add to the experience of a non-stressful and casual RPG. Thats why, even through the troubles we encountered, we redownloaded the game and am trying to persevere. We have had this game for 1 year, but we have been stuck on rank B for months. We need two weapon skills: dagger skill Cruel Critic and sword skill Stunning Lunge. Those two have NOT cycled through the roulette of Trader Adrian’s arsenal of supplies, and we have had to face the consequences. We love this game, but if we’re not able to rank up we will have no choice but to re-delete the game (which we had done in the past due to THE SAME PROBLEM). We would like to be able to progress past Violetfair, but am unable to do so. We hope to see a Rank A in our future. Thank you.
Pretty goodI havent gotten locked out by any freemium difficulty spikes yet, the art is nice and the mechanics are solid. Our one big gripe is the rank system, which just stops the game cold while you have to wait for the most boring missions to regenerate just to collect enough rank tokens so you can get back to the main missions. It doesnt even seem like a cash grab, because as far as we can tell you cant buy these things. You have to just sit around waiting for them to pop up before you can keep playing the game. Its just a baffling design choice. We dont understand what they were thinking. Its also a little talky for our tasteseems like theyre spending a lot of time on the part most of us are just clicking through to get back to the actual game. Maybe some people like the story, thoughI dont know. But aside from that its good. We would just ditch the ranking thing entirely, or at least not gate the missions behind it.
So it told us the game told us to free up data we clicked on the OK button and it corrupted corrupted for some reason and it scared us a lot we will be playing the game till you fix that also could you add a slice to we wont be playing this game with you at that too.
Feels just amazing to be playing this game again the music atmosphere and everything is just perfect. Hoping to see more updates in the future!
This is a great game, love the story and art style! But once we got to rank A and went region five.. We went to do the first mission. It looked like a cutscene was about to begin but nothing happened, didnt freeze, animation was still going, just nothing happened. So we closed the game and opened it again to find that the fifth region was locked, we were still rank A, and had completed 4-25, but we couldnt travel there or find any way to get there. For the time being Ill just have to try progressing to the next rank to see if that does anything, but we hope this can be fixed.
We really really love this game. We have a huge amount of respect for the beautiful animations, the art, and the undeniably charming story. All that said, there are some major performance issues after extended play sessions, and a few crashes have led us to miss huge chunks of the story that we will never see again until we completely start over, which is incredibly frustrating when it happens, and can actually put us off playing for a few days. This game does deserve five stars though. With extremely limited ads, an incredibly generous progression system, and literal hours of fun available, anyone who experiences less performance issues may find this a flawless iOS game.
So, we just wanna say that both the first game and this game are amazing First of all, theres an adorable artstyle (and speaking of, props to you guys for having actual hands now, since hands are hard /lh) Theres also both iconic enemies, like the different wolves, and some newer ones Not to mention theres also a ton of characters, both old and new, plus theyre all totally unique And sort of on the topic of the characters, Im doing minor amounts of theorizing (plus wondering if Raz and Almond are gonna come back, considering Im very early into the Pompom shenanigans rn) Basically, the devs make awesome little RPGs, and Im actually typing up an entire thing about it /lh.

We LOVE a game that is guaranteed to slow down and crash after 30 minutes, because its so poorly optimized for an iPhone SE. We LOVE a game where two, of your three buttons, just stop working arbitrarily without rhyme or reason. We LOVE it when those buttons stop working during a dungeon run, of which you have a limited amount of tickets, forcing you to waste the run. Who cares if it has a charming world, characters, and script? You dont play games for that! You play games to waste time! You love a game that actually wastes your time by trashing your efforts with random crashes and self sabotaging controls! Time successfully wasted!
Game says we need 2g ram. We do but the game crashes at 67%. Sure the games fun we played the og but alas.

By day 2 or 3 youll be trying to upgrade your character from rank C to rank B. Even after 2 days of replaying every possible level, Im still not even close to being strong enough to advance to rank B. Theres zero reason to make a game this difficult. Its not even fun anymore. Its just a chore to keep replaying the same levels dozens of times a day. The offline collections is very buggy. It usually doesnt give us anything when we log back in, or it gives us very little. When we give a friend food, their friendship goes up 1/4 of a heart. They have 5 hearts total of friendship. That means we need to feed them 20 times PER PERSON. Each food costs 560 gold. Thats over 10k gold per person. And each character makes us wait 6-7 hours before we can feed them again. So thats 120-140 hours of waiting (if we dont slack off). As you can see, the game is designed to drag things out to a painfully slow crawl. We didnt like this game at all. 99.9% of phone games fail to meet basic expectations of entertainment.
So we’ve been playing Postknight 2 for a while and we absolutely love it! Obsessed! We absolutely adore the graphics, characters and plot. Every new area and person we meet is our new favorite. So yeah, we guess you can tell we really like it. But Im having a small problem. Every time we go to Eventide Cove to explore, It wont let us. When we press go, it triggers the last cutscene we’ve unlocked and when its done, it lets us run but it doesnt let us attack, block or heal. We just run until we die. We’ve tried rebooting it but it wont work. Do you have any suggestions?

Greatest mobile game on the market, engaging but simple story. The game is fun because there is so much to do and collect. Its also great because you can play for hours or just pick it up and play for a few minutes. Fun game with a great art style and interesting mechanics. 10/10 game would recommend!
Let us just say, we love this game. Theres virtually no ads unless you choose to see them, the rpg mechanics are lovely, and t he bonds are so cute! Just one problem though. We got all the way to (spoilers) the fight against Raz and we cant block? Im fully upgraded in dagger class and our block button is removed for the Raz fight. No other fights, just that one. Is this a feature or a glitch? Rlly dont want to have to upgrade an entirely new class for one fight.
We love this game! Hours upon hours of play. Its got some simple and more advanced strategy built in. You can play smart and build yourself up quickly, or be like us (I dont like to think much) and just hammer your way through until youre stronger lol. Great for good players and mediocre- and fun either way! Super cute art style and characters. We almost never pay attention to plot in games, and we do for this one. Its fun and Im hooked.
Its a nice lovely decent game, that can use some more ideas! We just wanted to share some ideas! – How about adding marriage, since you already relationships? What about a home? And kids in the near future? We like this game, and would love to see major updates and content in the future!
