Welcome to Sharpwood, a cold and harsh border town riven with violence, where no one is completely innocent. Smugglers, gangs, and screaming populists call this town their home. To maintain peace and order, the young sheriff Lilly Reed (Sarah Hamilton) will have to team up with fugitive criminal Jack Boyd (Jon St. John), and pray that her dangerous plan doesn’t spiral out of control.

Your subordinates aren’t just some resource; they are living people with their own strengths, weaknesses, fears, and prejudices – and you'll have to reckon with all of them in order to survive. Is one of your guys drinking too much? Or always coming up with excuses for not coming to work? Or does he refuse to follow orders? You’ll have to show a steady hand if you want to impose discipline on this department.
Engage in tactical combat.
During your most dangerous operations, the game will switch to turn-based combat. Gather a team of your finest cops. Carefully study the terrain, adapt your plans, stealthily approach your suspects and use non-lethal weapons and equipment – if the situation allows. True, sometimes gunfights are almost impossible to avoid, but be careful: This Is the Police 2 doesn’t have hit points. A single bullet can cost a cop their life.

This is the police was a good game. The second one however was amazing. Much more involvement and game play. Incredible story. Please pretty please make a third game.
Good xcom style game with the added PD management part of it. Differentiates itself with other xcom games to warrant a buy and we hope they make a 3rd game.
One of the best games we have ever played. We loved every little element throughout and the ending was fantastic.
This is by far our favorite game in the entire world.
Very high quality indie gem! The graphics and music are awesome! We enjoyed the new additions to gameplay in terms of tactical missions and the way you now have to manage the strengths of each cop. It was pretty long but, honestly it felt like it should have kept going. We thought perhaps we were reaching the midway point but it turned out to be an abrupt end. Plot was 95% meandering setup. It felt really bare bones in that regard, compared to the ups and downs in the original. As well, Im not sure why the text is so small. You can zoom in on it, but its sort of cumbersome. It should have just been larger. Still great though.
We first stumbled upon the game while watching the youtuber jacksepticeye and then, while searching the App Store, we saw the next game in the series rebel cops which also looked like a great game. We decided to get this one because it looked like it had the action of rebel cops and the strategy of this is the police, best choice we ever made.
We really like to play this game and it has a good story line. The investigation part is a good challenge. We also like the strategy missions and raids they are the best part of the game. But when you have officers go to calls we dont think you should wait until they get to the station and the stars (experience) should not have to be a minimum, we think it should be like a warning if you go under it your chance of completing that call are lower. Yea this game was pretty good 4.5 stars. But for some reason the soda tabs stopped and the game was a little short.
This game is perfect but we think they should add the swat team.
Update the GAMEEEEEEEEEEW NEW GUNS MORE GEAR MORE SQUADS we NEED A SWAT TEAM K9 team come onnnnnnnn.
We personally think its a great game, you guys added an amazing amount of detail, and we do think that it was worth the money, although the inappropriate stuff is a little unnecessary, but thats really the only flaw. Love the tactics game on there as well.
We just got done taking down a gang and when it goes back to the map we had some people go deal with a call well now their stuck on the call and wont come back to the police station.
Cannot workout the case when using other language.
We bought this game for tactical missions, and while the parts that are are fun we just wish theyd add more tactical missions.
If you start a new game you have to go by the tutorial again its so annoying.
We tried to mute the game one time but it doesnt mute cutscenes and also on tactical missions it doesnt mute the drum noise when your turn ends and starts. Same for when it is the games turn to play which seemed weird to us.
Our favorite phone game right now. Makes you want to keep playing day after day.
The game is amazing this really is a great pc port and a must try! Story driven experience you will love and if you like management games then this is definitely for you! One thing Ill ask if the devs is the text stuff that pops up about Locke or when they ask yes or no. The text asking what your responding to is not there. Ive played the pc version and know generally what some of it is but for a new player this would make it near impossible for those little extra throw ins you guys have.
This game is great, we loved the first game and Im enjoying this game as well but the game really needs the ability to zoom in on the tactics screen in locations and there needs to be a better font used for the criminal investigation screen. The witness statements are WAY TOO TINY on an iPhone XR.
- Make action in turn based combat 3D Touch. (Issues with actions you have to have multiple presses just to arrest some one 2.pinch to zoom. This game is beautiful but just because its a port dont mean its very accessible to mobile screens 3. Theres a glitch at the start screen when continuing a save game. Sometimes it wouldnt load or get you out the app completely.
