Community Insight:
We have tried many hidden picture/adventure games on our phone and they were completely unreadable. We are loving it. Keep them coming Big Fish.
Great game, really Enjoyed playing. Keeps you occupied for quite a while.
Really enjoying this game. Lots of small complexities that seem unimportant but are key to the solutions.
Really liked this game! Interesting story, albeit fairly predictable ending. Really enjoyed the puzzles in this one, and the bonus game was a nice surprise! Definitely recommend.
We really liked this one. Not very challenging but not boring at all. There were only a handful or so of times you have to travel back and forth across many scenes, but it has the jump map feature. Plus you can turn on or off the active areas feature from the Options, Difficultly button. You can also customize the game's difficulty, which we always love. Inventory bar is lockable and easy to scroll through. HOPS were all find from list type but they each, at least, had a few interactive items. Mini games were fairly easy but some did require a little thought and/or effort. Graphics, as usual, were awesome. There were lots of cutscenes that aren't too long, but you can skip them without losing an achievement. There are Collectables, teapots and fingerprints, but they aren't in every scene and you won't know if you've missed one until you find the last one. We forgot to use the magnifier and missed all the prints. The Collector's Edition gives you a decently lengthy bonus game, some concept art, wallpapers, videos, a microscope feature that we couldn't use since we didn't find the prints, and some of the mini games to replay. Can't replay the HOPS though. The game's story was decently good, though the ending was quite abrupt, especially from the bonus game. Overall we really liked this game.
We highly liked this game. It was fun and made you think at the same time. Good story plot, overall fun game.
Really enjoyed this game. Good mini puzzles, good HOS & story. The only part that we almost thought we were stuck on was the little piece of paper on the clip board. We couldn't find it for the life of us. We really thought the game had a glitch but thank goodness for the forum. That let us know where that paper was hiding. The forum topic was closed, so we just wanted to thank the people that posted that thread.
Overall good game, main and bonus chapters both good lengths and held our interest. We liked the double click to move/interact feature. No way to get bonus items after completing the game other than replaying, and does have an outdated look with some glitches and crashes.
Paid for this and we cannot play it. The picture is all messed up. It does not fit the screen properly. Clicking on Play does nothing. It keeps trying to get us to buy it again. Waste of $2.99.
We were in the middle of playing this game, thank god we had yet to pay for it because our iPhone 8plus updated last week and now its all messed up! We cant even get into the game because the main menu page isnt centered and we cant even get to the play option!! We tried restarting our phone and when that didnt work we uninstalled and then reinstalled… STILL DIDNT WORK!! We are so frustrated because we were really into the game. PLEASE FIX IT SO we CAN PURCHASE AND PLAY THE DARN GAME.
No glitches; good story line; leaves you wanting more. & we expect we'll get it if we read the last scene in the extra game correctly.
Graphics are good. Story line is interesting. Haven't encountered glitches or problems. Puzzles are the right amount if challenge.
The last few HO games have been a little glitchy nice to play one that doesn't lock up.
Have to use the hint button a lot, but so far it seams to be well planned out.
The game itself is very great and enjoyable. However, when we got to the in-game purchases and notice that it was 2.99, we did not want to play anymore. We, and many others would rather be willing to pay .99 the most to unlock the rest of the game. With a larger amount of money being charged, less people would want to buy the rest of the game.
The game is great until you exit the game, return and have to start all over.
The game itself is good but the ads will drive you crazy. Even after you buy it, when you press "play", it will take you to an ad first, which you will have to press the menu button to get out of. Every. Single. Time.
Paid $2.99 for yet another Big Fish game we can't finish because it crashes. We even uninstalled and reinstalled, which of course means we had to start over from beginning of game. It crashed again in the same place and now will not go into game mode. Rescue painter, go to look at his desk… CRASH! Not happy.
One of our favorites so far. More of a detective crime story which appeals to us.
We're so happy with this game!! We didn't get it at the sale price but we're thrilled we came back to Big Fish!! We had given up on them for a few months but this games sucked us back in. We're not done playing but we love it so far. The little quirks aren't anything that should stop you from buying it. But play the demo and see for yourself. Great job developers.
This one is good. What we like most about these games when they're good is, you can sort of guess what items you need and where they'll be used. When it's a game where every item is something made up (fairy dust, gem, runes, AARGH the runes), how are you suppose to know what you're doing? You have to try every single item at every single spot. This game makes sense though, you need a screwdriver, an axe, a glass of liquid, etc. It's the real world, it's not completely out of left field.
It a good game to play accept the hidden objects were rlly difficult to pick up.
Really love Big Fish games and this one maintains the great graphics, puzzles, and interest. Nice music too.
This game was fun. Only issue we had was that a couple of items in the games were very hard to pick up. We did not have any other problems with this game.
Great story, non repetitive hidden object games, and detailed graphics.
We have played many games. We find this game to be very enjoyable with interesting puzzles and good graphics.
We have enjoyed playing this game. 5*'s from us. Thank you.
We're rating it 5 stars for being iPhone(4) worthy! We just started playing but we're sure we'll be buying this one. Love murder mysteries so thanks BF, now let us get back to it.
Good game so far the last two games were bad.
This is fun game. It's hard to put down.
Fewest navigation problems of any game we've tried.
No challenge, still enjoyed it.
Bravo Bravo well done game with great imagination from the writers. The game flowed eloquently. One of the high points are the mini games. Great variety and imagination. The only glitch in our opinion is that the music doesn't have to change with every scene. Just put it on rotation.
We play a lot of games of this style and this one was maximum fun minimal issues! Exciting storyline, beautiful graphics, lots of characters to Interact with (we like that), most of the puzzles were reasonable and actions played out smoothly when you needed to use an object. Some games are a bit "fussy" about using an object. (Awakening, we're looking at you.) Unfortunately we missed one of the handwriting samples and had to restart the whole game(!) and make sure we got them all. Can't go on without the set. There's a lot playing "memory" in this game. You hang onto objects for a while before finally using them and a lot of running back and forth to places you've been. We were able to zoom in enough on the scenes and appreciated the "info" button for puzzles(so have an idea of how it works). We did have trouble with the balloons. Seems like that would be solved by brute force without strategy guide. Also we couldn't figure out pin mini-game. We thought we did everything correct but it didn't work and we had to skip : ( On the whole great game. A bargain at $1.99 Hope they make a sequel.
This game is very enjoyable, but it isn't quite as well done as, for instance, the Smithsonian Hope Diamond. Puzzles are fairly standard and easy to challenging. Hidden Object scenes are nice. We did experience some difficulty occasionally selecting objects on our small iPhone screen. A few times the game locked up at opening, and that seemed to happen only when we forgot to close out the app prior to shutting down the phone. The game also locked up a couple times in the middle of working a puzzle. We were always able to fix the issue by shutting down the phone and rebooting both phone and app. So all in all, you should play this game. It's a solid four stars.
Fun puzzles, but the directions for them are not terribly instructive. We never did figure out the balloon one. Still, a fun game.
Played better & lately played far worse. One minor crash, a couple of little glitches – nothing that really detracted from gameplay. Fairly good length with bonus play. Pretty good. Not great, but note than fairly good. (iPhone 4s).
Loving the graphics and storyline. Love how the inventory can be locked or unlocked. HOs are challenging, but not too much so. Transitions are a little glitchy, so 4 stars for now.
Just started. Good so far. Can read the words finally! Like the puzzles.
