We love this games sophisticated and beautiful background and holiday choices. Our favorites are the New Zealand and the Halloween themes. There is a long list of other card and background options which can make you feel as if youre in a handheld art museum. Thank you, Edgerift. Who knew Solitaire could be this good.

Was better in the beginning. Could play a few games without commercials and when commercials come up you could x out of them. Now in between every game there is a long commercial that you cant x out. We dont like being pressured to buy things. Every commercial we see make mental note to never purchase their product.

Like this game. Although it has ads they are not as agitating as some of the others Solitaries. The other games add appear so long that you have to actually exit the game to resign in.

Too many loud video ads – intrusive and annoying.
At first we couldnt win. In all the other solitaire games Ive been playing we win a lot. So this one was different. Theres a few ads. They are few and far in between so they arent a problem. We actually like that it shows us when our game is no longer winnable! It helps us to watch our moves and hopefully will make us a better player! Ive been through almost every solitaire game Ive found. This one is the one Ive enjoyed the most! Ty.

We spent quite some time trying to leave a one-star review because we were not happy with the changes in the latest version (where is the old Classic Cards view?), but each time we were told that us chosen nickname was unavailable. If this review gets posted, well see if the real issue is nicknames.
Most recent update emphasizes ads, makes card graphics gimmicky (we prefer classic playing cards), and adds automation that is gimmicky.
We used to love this app but it changed recently and now there are so many ads that interrupt your playing. Super aggravating.
Portrait mode shows, when iPad is positioned in landscape. Otherwise good.
We dont like the ads that pop up when zi begin to play. Not needed.

We only play this version to see the Halloween house. Now theres an ad (white and glaring, of course) covering iteven in landscape mode. And there are video ads too! Boo, ladies and gentlemen, boo and hiss! 2/5 Stars.
The onslaught of ads now. This use to be our go to app.. The auto update and ads destroyed this great app.
The game updated automatically and we dont love the new look of the cards, as theyre harder to read, and now there are ads and disruptions when there werent before. Not as enjoyable and mindless of a game.
Played this app for years, but the recent update pushes so many ads that the game is nearly unplayable. All that was really missing was an auto-complete function.
We didnt mind paying for the ad free version but every time the app updates we get constant pop ups to pay again. The game is good. The scam is not.
This is supposed to be a free frame! Yet we keep getting pop up ads that we can not get out of!!! And some a sexually inappropriate! Get rid of them.
After we updated the original Solitaire game on our Apple iPod, we discovered that the updated version of the game stars with an ad. Im very disappointed.
The ad box covers up the Halloween haunted house. Its terrible ad placement. Can we pay to play it add free.

An ad popped up with loud obnoxious music! Ive enjoyed this app for over a year and accepted the small banner ads and even occasionally clicked on one. These full screen loud ads are absolutely unacceptable! We had to delete the app! Hated to do so as we really have enjoyed playing it. But this was too much. Sorrowfully goodbye! Do not download this app.
Latest update made the free B game less enjoyable. Landscape mode makes cards to big with no option to return to previous styling. The obvious reason for the change, which now overlays and obscured the Ads is to try to force players to accidentally tap on the Ad to take them out of the game and earn click revenue for the developer. This is just a straight up nasty design with Ill intent. Also, the auto hiding of key controls, like undo, lacks any sort of common sense. People should not have to hunt for invisible controls (Apple also loves to do this sort of hidden gesture crap everywhere). That was a feature no one needed or asked for. Or sure if we will bother containing to play it, even thought it used to be one of our favorite games to pass the time.
Ive loved this simple app but with the update we hate the ad being behind the cards in landscape. Ill find another app.

How can we get the 4.2.0 version which was automatically updated to the new version that we dislike.
You always seem to ruin a good thing. Your new upgrade now forces you to watch annoying ads. Deleting this app as soon as we finish this review. Done delete.
Easy to use wont let us cheat we like that.
Theres a little bar ad at the bottom of the game but otherwise its ad free. Game play is good, once you get the double tap down. & really, how difficult is that? It doesnt clear the board once youve finished but- no stupid ads makes it the best free solitaire around.
We are still learning the game but enjoy.
