If you are hooked on escape games add this to your list! It is a quick and challenging game that doesnt charge you when you need a little extra help!
This was a fun, atmospheric, entertaining puzzle. The hints are easily gained by watching fast commercials and there is a free and detailed walk through available if the hints are not enough. Sometimes challenging but mostly intuitive. We really enjoyed this and would definitely buy other chapters that continue this story or other games by this company as soon as they are available. Very glad we found and got to do this one.
We will say that if we could rate it a four and a half star we would. Some things were a little hard to guess that they would actually work. I.e. Putting the metal bar then jumping in and out of the book(?) we would have never guessed that would have gave us what we needed. Otherwise this was really fun to play. Id love a second edition!
Definitely short, finished it in under a day, but the puzzles are entertaining without being impossible and the clues are actually helpful when you need them.
Interesting with a variety of puzzles. The best part is even if you fail, the game lets you begin again at the point just before you messed up. Many game parts are used more than once and in combinations. If an action doesnt work at first, try it again latertiming matters. Search everywhere, even places youve already searched. Have fun.
Felt like a true escape room. Clues are not obvious to find. Makes you think. Nothing shines or has things that make clicking away easy to find. Awesome! Could not put it down.
Great puzzles and game dynamics. It felt hard, but all the puzzles made sense and ended not being too difficult. Great hint system. Im glad it was not bogged down with tons of dialog and backstory.
A group of friends downloaded the game and we all played it together. It was very tricky but not impossible. We did end up using the clues, which are very useful. Excellent app. Thank you!
Super fun! Love the dark, mysterious vibe. Decent approximation of an actual escape room, even if some of the puzzles are a little abstract. Couldve used a little more story, but not a big enough deal go affect the rating.
Short, challenging, more than meets the eye. Loved the simple, plain atmosphere. It made you feel like you were really trapped in this room. There was a Myst world called Rime. Aside from this games title, it bears only no resemblance to the Myst worlds. (Its been so long since we played those-I miss them :( Other than being a clever escape game. We recommend this game!

This game had unique puzzles and game play. The omitted space made the game difficult without being too difficult. We thought the remote was clever and original.

The ambiance of this game was spectacular. The hints were amazing as well. They didn’t tell you what to do exactly, which is one of our real pet peeves about hints and walkthroughs. They’re actually hints, not answers. But if you tap again, it will give you an answer, and a link to a proper step by step walkthrough. This was WONDERFUL. If they ever release another like it we will be playing it.
We’ve played a lot of these games and this is one of the best. As usual there were a couple of puzzles that were a bit of a stretch, but looking back, we wasnt thinking outside the box well enough. Really enjoyed the entire thing!!! Hard to believe it was free.

Well, we came here looking to see if the developer had another one, so we mustve liked it.
We enjoyed this short game, but it was kind of ridiculously complicated. Clues arent logical like most of these types of games; even more difficult games overall dont expect the player to do the same things over and over. It was fun, but we wouldnt pay money for it.
We think its pretty cool how they chose the ending and how things lead up to it.
Overall well made, without highlighted items giving away interactables and solutions and making things too easy in a game designed around such a small area. However, without spoilers, one spot relies on doing an action that it was not clear is repeatable/would have an effect, which led to just poking and prodding every object until something happened.
We really liked this game. The puzzles were good and it was fun to go through them in the first half of the game. Then the puzzles got so hard they were nearly impossible to solve without using the clues. For the last third of the game we pretty much just follow the clues rather than solving them on our own because we worried that Id spend a long time on a puzzle only to learn it was impossible to solve without a clue. Im fairly good at these puzzle games so we think there are lots of people who will struggle even more than we did.
The workbench drawer will not open. We know Im doing it correctly, but after the third turn of the knob it will not turn back to the right again no matter what we do. So Im stuck.
Not sure why this game is so highly esteemed. There isnt much to it and the riddles are totally arbitrary. There isnt really any pay-off to figuring them out; the game just ends. Use your time For something better.
We were initially disappointed with the 2D look and movement, but as we progressed we came to accept it and you can maneuver very quickly. The game just doesnt have that visual pop that some others do (e.g., House of DaVinci). The puzzles were clever. Sometimes more so than we could figure out. We usually kicked myself though after seeking a clue, although there were two where we are not sure if we would have figured out. Overall an interesting and challenging puzzle game. We would play others created by this group.

Played a LOT of these sort of flash style room escape(static picture w/interactive spots) and this one is definitely awesome. Puzzles are a good balance of difficulty, and also there are hidden endings which sadly most games like this just never have. We appreciate the fact that the devs took time to put in that little something extra even on game anyone can play completey free of charge(w/minimal ads to boot!) If we had a complaint it would be the item selection bar is somewhat obscured by a floating add banner, but this is a trivial thing since you can double click any item and view an enlarged photo of it to see what it is at any time, a very minor complaint(not even enough to detract a whole star) for an overall enjoyable, great game!
This game is really well done, and also really hard. We got impatient and used a lot of hints to get through, but we could have solved all of the puzzles if we had given it more time. Big thumbs up to the game.
We’ve played 10s of escape games, this was the best one by far! Its one room only but the riddles are actually smart and they make sense. We couldnt finish it without using a couple of hints, which is awesome!
This was one of the better games in the escape genre. Please do a sequel! We found a few minor bugs: 1) the donation link is disabled which is strange; 2) the ads at the bottom of the play window partially obscure the Item button (I would have paid to remove this it is very distracting); 3) after taking a hint, watching an ad and returning to the game, the sound stops working. We can fix by going to the Home Screen and then back to the game. We have this weird problem on some other games too so it might be our IPad.
Excellent in story and puzzles. It just should be longer. Lets wait for a second one.

All together we think it is a very nice escape game, also that you get trapped in a book world, that is very interesting. We used the walkthrough website, and it helps. Theres 1 thing we would like to say though. Maybe in your next update you could add more detail. Like maybe more static in parts but tysm for making this game and we really hope that there will be more challenges in the future. Ty for reading! Bye!

We loved every second of figuring the puzzle out and finding the 3 different endings. We only cheated once when completely stuck but really enjoyed this!!! Great job.
