Another great big fish game. Challenging but not too much. No glitches and thats certainly a plus. Thank you.

We are on the denial platform trying to do the HOP but it only let us tap one thing, it’s like it doesn’t recognize that we are tapping. Everything else works, but just hit this one glitch. We’re using an iPhone 5s btw, and ideas? I’d really love to finish the game since we paid for it lol. Thanks :)

Very entertaining game. Variety of puzzles and HOG are not boring or in extreme abundant. Nice storyline.

We didnt think it would be that good for 1.99 but boy was we surprised. The graphics and mini games were very interesting and not too hard. Loved the bonus round as well.

Loved the storyline, graphics were gorgeous! Hidden object scenes & puzzles were fun and unique. Teleporting map provided along with morphing objects to find. This kind of story along with the character voices really captures you, to the point that it is hard to stop playing. Another Outstanding game by Mad Head Games. Truly a work of art and flowed very nicely. Cannot wait till their next release. A must buy & a real gem of a game!!!! Thank you for such Great Entertainment. KdBoots.

This game is simply amazing! The interactiveness with which Mad Head Games runs, is just a joy to play!! Update fixed phone problem.

While we’ve played hundreds of these HO/adventure style games, we don’t bother to review that many. This one we must as we consider it superb. Aside that it has a very, very good storyline that not only draws you in, it has a particularly good message, it’s game play is usual be clever. Even the HOGs, which we’re not a great fan of, were fun and very and different than we have ever played. We didn’t mind them one bit. Graphs, outstanding; music outstanding, dialogue outstanding, puzzle play outstanding. About the only thing we can say negative is that it is shorter than we would have liked but it does have a bonus game so we can accept that. Every now and then the music cut out and the dialogue disappeared but you could read the dialogue so it didn’t disrupt the play. We would rate this in the top 5 of any game we’ve previously played. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this game.

Best graphics we’ve seen, no monsters or boggy men just a great story line. You can choose your difficulty level and we only got frustrated with myself 2-3 times. Loved it.

We’re a regular to these sorts of games, but we’ve been finding them lacking lately. This one has finally left us feeling fulfilled at the end, and certainly hoping for the next part of the series! Like others have said, this one finally has a good story worth following and being interested in. Our only complaint would be that the villain needed to be explained a bit better, or maybe be a bit more villainous. He just wasn’t believable. But otherwise the storyline was great. Game play was perfect. There was the right amount of complexity yet wasn’t impossible. Depth of scenes were great. It felt a lot more complex in where you could explore, which was nice. Overall, we loved the game and would greatly recommend it to anyone who’s into these sorts of games. Good job guys!!

Finally… An HO (but not too many of them) game that we’re actually enjoying 5 stars’ worth. The story is comprehensible and the graphics are acceptable. The non-HO and mini- puzzles are just right. Not too easy, but not maddeningly difficult. The map works well, although, ironically, we haven’t been using it much. We’re playing on an iPad and we haven’t had to increase the brightness in order to see stuff. We may come back and revise our rating if the game is too short. They’ve been making the games shorter so that we buy more of them; have you noticed?

Great game, awesome puzzles, couldn’t put it down! Loved every minute!

Dozens of Big Fish games we have played and this is just about the best if not THE best! The scenes are exquisite, the music is very well done and not obnoxious, the puzzles are enchanting and just difficult enough to make you think, and the story line is easy to follow. The only recommendation is that the map should be easier to access. No hints taken to finish the game. Very enjoyable!

The soundtrack section of the bonuses does not work. It won’t play anything! Please fix this as the music is AMAZING.

Short but an overall solid game with clever puzzles, dynamic graphics and innovative HOPs. Mad Head makes up somewhat for the length of the game by piling on the extras. If you get all the collectibles, that achievement opens up two new games: a treasure hunt and a giant HOP. We didnt have any problems with the infamous flashlight. The only glitch we noticed was that the music will cut off after it has been playing for about 3-4 minutes. An odd bug, but it didnt bother us. We definitely recommend buying, but due to length, only if its on sale.

There are a few glitches in the puzzles and a bit too much video for us but all-in-all quite a good bit of entertainment.

The game is good and interesting but you have to tap too many times on items that should have to tap only once. Placing 3 items in the book to get the urn, one item was upside down and it took forever to finally place the item – it placed itself because we didnt. These are the reasons this game gets 4 stars. Plus, too many ads. Yuk!

Lots of fun. But we’re afraid Omni was a very poor monk if he had to turn to western psychology’s stages of grief to deal with his distress. The flashlight problem has been fixed with this update, but there are still some problems. Every time we start a new game we have to re-instate our purchase – not good. We did the treasure hunt in extras but didn’t get the achievement, and we’re pretty sure we found all the storm clouds even in the bonus game, but didn’t get the achievement for that either. The soundscape is good but drops out alot. It’s a good game,it deserves better polish than this.

The plot fuses together the ingredients of hustle-and-bustle adventure with those of science and the supernatural. The graphics appear slightly faded and blotchy and not as crisp and clear as we would expect. The color scheme is dominated by a steadfast monochromatic background consisting of varying shades of blue in order to exude a dismal, overcast climate. The stormy, turbulent weather pattern further enhances essences of anticipation and doom as you explore your surroundings. You can customize your settings; there are various options to satisfy your specific preferences. Inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map allows for brisk transport to labeled locations and indicates available objectives. As you manually travel between labeled scenes, transition is smooth and seamless. The "back" button helps avoid an unwanted return to the prior scene. The HOS consist of assorted fashions, and they are very interactive; some are scientifically oriented, such as the one where you are fixing the storm catcher device. We appreciate the ease of the "click and tap" method to place objects in lieu of dragging them. The puzzles are crafty and visionary in presentation; many are scientifically based, such as the one where you use the professor’s laptop to correct corrupt data. Only Madhead, who are steps ahead of their peers in trend-setting concepts, could envisage such wondrous ideas. We admire the additional interactive elements incorporated throughout, such as the manipulation of close-up areas by sliding them around to view the opposite side. We also enjoy the use of the cell phone features, such as the flashlight, to create a more immersive and engaging experience. There are collectibles, which can blend into the background very well. Unfortunately, this game is not without imperfections. Firstly, when the game is standing idle for several moments, the audio tunes out; even though it does come back upon resuming, we find it to be a bit vexing. Furthermore, most of the main components are accessed from under the Menu; and this causes slight disruptions to the fluidity of concentration and gameplay. Lastly, no journal is presented to chronicle the story. For these reasons, we’ve deducted a star. This is an enticing game comprised of the coveted traits we all yearn for, together with an abundance of creativity. We highly suggest this one!

One of the best games we’ve ever played! However, we’re having a lot of trouble with a scene at the end of the game. We don’t want to start over because of a glitch!! Please help!

We really wanted to like this game, especially after all the good reviews, but we just found it tedious. Only 2 things to do in each scene, and the cinematic interruptions we found detracted from the story rather than added to it. Only a handful of puzzles, literally. If we wanted to be told a story, Id read a book or watch a movie. When we play a game, Id like to actually PLAY! At the end, it gave us the achievement for achieving 3 stars in every hop, which we hadnt, and took away our achievement for finding cloud signs (it said we had none.) Just really slow and clunky. We do like the fact that MadHead allows you to place items even if you dont have all of them. But making us hit everything 3 times, and take 5 taps to move a set of branches is just tedious. We feel they were just time filling to make the game longer. Not what Im used to from MadHead.

We give it 3 stars because we have been bugged to review it even before we bought it. Also didn’t have issue at professors house. Just had figure out how to get our phone. Once we did we just dragged it over to the switches. We guess some seem to not to be able too.

First, the game is dark. We mean you can hardly see the scenes because there is very little back light. It makes us think there must be a flashlight, but there isn’t one. Second, the game shows that it’s continually updating, with the circle continually spinning to show its update. There is a map, though when we tried it, it said no GPS available. We haven’t even gotten through the free version. The darkness of it is very annoying and hard on the eyes. Update: went back in today and the darkness issue is gone! Duh! How! Who knows. But we can now see the game. We went through a few scenes and ended up at the house, using a flashlight to see. Problem: the flashlight freezes and you have to play around with it to get it to move. The hint told us we needed to do something with a rectangular shape up near the top right of the scene. So, we tried to go there by tapping, and tapping, and tapping…….. Nothing. The hint keeps saying we need to do something there, but we can’t. This game has WAY too many issues! Save your money! Update: it finally started to work correctly, and we can see why it has so many issues. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for most of your movements within the game. We like to have some logic, but this game seems to have very little. We also don’t like the swiping up and down, or left and right to see the rest of a scene. As for putting together the "machine," this is the only game we gave played that allowed to to place pieces before you had all of them. So, in summary, this game is not for us. The developers were trying to be too clever, and ruined it.

Went through 3-4 scenes in the free version, and we will not be buying this game. After 5 seconds of music and sound, it all shuts off until the next part of the storyline, repeat. It has a feature of turning around an item which is cool and we have not personally seen that yet. However, we are quite bored with it already and do not want to see anymore.

We were enjoying it until it got stuck while hanging upside down on a tree, no matter what we do, it wont allow us to pan down to continue the game. We will restart and try again, if nothing changes we will ask for a refund. Im not sure why[ but lately, this is the second game from Big Fish like this.

IF U HAVE AN ISSUE W THE CELL PHONE PLEASE READ Hey guys. Have seen a lot of people stuck in the professors house with the cell phone light. There isn’t a bug, you just have to do some fancy tapping. Here’s what we did that got us through it. When the phone is on the screen, you’ll need to double tap the phone, then on the last tap sort of drag your finger towards the utility box. You do this till you reach the box, then you’ll switch a few switches and the light turns on. As far as the game itself, it’s a KEEPER! We say BUY the game! Especially on sale! We think it’s a wonderful game. Better than the last one BF put out for us. There’s a transporting map, a journal which DARCY we’re sure is happy about, collectibles, and the graphics are outstanding. Don’t forget to collect little coins and clouds with A lighting bolt attached to it. Morphing objects in the HOP and you can customize your settings. Beautiful game without any huge problems. We hope our little trick helps y’all get past the cell phone scene and you can enjoy the rest of the game. We don’t see any RATS yet but we just started the game… If we see any we’ll let you know Lynx. Happy Gaming friends.

We were going to let you all in on the secret to the flashlight on the phone but we see we were beat to that little tid-bit we’re really enjoying this game. Thank you developers.

As an advanced user of these type of games we found it fun with newer storyline, short dialog scenes for more gameplay, usable map challenging enough games, collectibles that can be found after gameplay to get extra content, well labeled items with combinations, HOPs that are challenging with combos, decent length, and some bonus content that can be played for more achievements. Only complaints: bonus game for collectibles was the same old search each scene for an object(and it was WAY too easy)…. How about something new? And we hate having tools like the map and cell phone in a pull up menu. But GREAT job! MORE!

Really enjoyed the game. Some of the toughest puzzles we’ve played.

There are two times when the game seems like it’s stuck, but it’s not. 1) When you use your phone like a flashlight, it is REALLY hard to grab the right spot that lets you drag it around. Keep trying – we had to try over 30 times but finally caught it in the right spot. We accidentally let go and had to try another 20-ish times to grab it again. 2) When you have to piece together objects near the end of the game, you have to tap and then tap and hold to drag. If you just tap and drag in one motion, it won’t move. Tap, then tap and hold to drag.

We enjoyed this game. I, too, had trouble with the cell phone flashlight. After a considerable amount of time trying to move it, it magically DID move. Do not know what we did to accomplish that. The rest of the game was glitch free for us. Fun to play. Am hesitant to recommend since some may never get past the flashlight problem.

Warning to Dracyy: you always have our back with rodents, and we have your back as well. Do NOT attempt this game with a migraine! There are tons of lightning strikes, movements and electricity going on. It’s making us a bit queasy and we don’t have a headache! Note to Kansasgal: we thought so too but eventually it let’s you move forward! You have to have patience and just tap around a bit! We promise you that you can do it! Our review mirrors that of KimTwilight’s thoughts. The storyline was interesting, the graphics were magnificent and the cut-scenes electrifying, literally. We won’t go through all the features, since it would be redundant to do so. Of course we will mention the fact that there were no rats! Did you think we would leave that out? We are actually rating this game at 3.5 stars. We deducted stars for the journal and map being placed in the menu tab, for the clunky transition of the game and slow dialogue. The lightning and movements in some of the scenes made us feel extremely dizzy, and we are not currently suffering from vertigo, so it had to be the game. However we still liked this game as a whole, because it is extremely interactive and the gameplay from Mad Head is very different than most of the other developers. Lynxie sends and Yuletide cheer to the entire DTE and the other gamers who have placed their trust in us to keep bettering this genre! As always we are so grateful to Izzyoc, KimTwilight and Dracyy for sharing the information they acquire with all of us. It is people like them who make the gaming world better for all of us!

We tried playing the game before unlocking it, but it’s so dark that we can’t see a thing. Normally we keep our iPad pretty bright, but for this game, we had to turn it all the way up to see anything.

Unfortunately, there is a flaw that results in getting stuck. The flashlight will not move in the professor’s house to illuminate the switches, so can’t even complete the demo.

Cell phone flashlight doesn’t move in dark professors house. Can tap the area near the ceiling where we need to but nothing happens. Does light have to shine on it? Scene is frozen. Finally got that to work, deleted and started over. Now some hints are only halfway on the screen so can’t be read. Glad we only paid $3.99. Although, that seems a lot at this point. Average graphics and games.

We were really enjoying this game until we unlocked the house and had to use the light on our cellphone to see. The screen freezes and doesn’t allow you to do anything. The fuse box that is sparkling won’t even allow you to look at it. The cell phone freezes after you move it around the dark room. You can’t move forward in the game due to this glitch. We won’t be purchasing this game.
