What Makes RPG Loot Master Stand Out
RPG Loot Master is a tool for DM/GMs to create visual loot generation for DnD. Loot can be randomly chosen or the DM/GM can select what items to reward players. DMs/GMs can select the contents of the chest, what it looks like and even the location of the chest.
No more having to roll loot tables!
Features:
*Chest creation:Users can create their own chests for their players to unlock. Chests can be populated with pre-built items or custom user made items. Chests can be Static(Items in the chest will always be awarded to players when opened) or Dynamic (Each item in the chest has a percentage chance of being given to the player when the chest is open) giving your chests reusability.
*Item creation: Users can create their own items to add to their chests. Weapons, Armour, Food, Potions and Misc items can all be created. Items value, weight, name, appearance and rarity can be customised.
*Different locations: The location of where the chest is opened can also be selected.
*Trap chests: Punish and surprise your players with the Explosion and Poison trap chests!
*Locked chests: Chests can be locked with a passcode or password, meaning your players can to crack the code to open the chest! (Pro feature).
*Over 300 pre-made items with DnD stats ready to be used.
*Over 1000 images ready to be used for creating your own items.

Really great for immersion but it would be cool if as a dm you could make the chests empty so the characters can open it to see the light inside still.
Overall we really like the control of the loot box. The dynamic chest option is just really cool, and all the items, art, and being able to control the percentile drop chance is fantastic. In our opinion just the best version of this kind of app we can think of. We would say, based on what is offered, the app doesnt really need to change but we have some ideas that may be cool additions. 1) add an option for looting backpacks/hides/or other miscellaneous fallen enemies. 2)offer generic art for miscellaneous items(example: if you create an item deck to draw from throughout the campaigndraw item card or draw equipment card and so forth. 3) we would love to put several chests accessible off the same screen. So set up a campaign page. Make chests for specific regions and but you would be capable to just open any chest just by clicking it once and already having a location assigned to it, while maybe even opening another chest immediately afterward without having to back out to the main page and selecting a background again. Just a couple thoughts Anyway, thanks yo, Jax;).
Could be better, we wish there were more images for loot that you didnt have to pay for (not that theres not a lot of free images, just that it gets boring using the same images and loot every time). If youre DMing a tabletop rpg, we highly recommend using this app for random loot. You can create your own chest loot pools for specific occasions, and the app in general is easy to use. It can be a little hard to find which item youre looking for, but we, personally, dont really care.
You have to add each item one at a time, and every time you select something it takes you out of the menu. So you have to remember what the last item you added was, and then scroll through the menu however many times it takes you to select everything (we spent a good 30 minutes adding items today and barely made it halfway through the misc items). You can also only set the drop rate of one item at a time, so not only do you have to add all of your items, but then you have to set the drop rate of each individual item. Not really satisfied for the $4 it cost. We probably wont use it unless they make it easier to navigate and add items/adjust drop chance.
We have tried many different generators in the past, but this stumps a lot of them! The icons are amazing because they go with the feel of the game we have been working on for 3-4 yrs. Im not much of an artist so this helps so much. Our kiddos think it is so cool to see what they get during a session vs what dad tries to draw up lol!! We would like to add it would be awesome if there were more futuristic, space like, weapons, currency, maybe even some pets. Our game take you through the ages. Starting from Stone Age into planetary expeditions. So fauna and flora, maybe some mounts and pets would be the kicker here. Great great great job on this app!!! We did buy the pro version and we would buy the others mentioned as well. Loving it!! Keep on keeping on.
Love this app and so do our players. But it would be nice to have the ability to add Random armor or weapons to backpacks or chests like the General Chests have.
This game is a really great game for DND and other magical games. We like how you can creat items and chests. The only problem is we wish that there was more items to pick from. You will have to buy a pass to get more items.
So easy to use, and the animations are fun. Would love an option to add a percentage chance of a trap in our custom chests.
We would love if custom trap chests could be created, maybe to include monsters too.
We usually dont write reviews but this is a exception. Omg this is so awesome, its so easy to make and customize your own items, weapons, food and e.t.c. Chests have loads of options for a variety of different rp gameplay. You dont need the payed version of the app AT ALL but even now we are thinking about getting it. We are switching our loot piles from slow dice rolls to this app and changing all our chests to this app for a more exciting and enjoyable D&D gameplay experience.
Great concept, great art and nice features to add different chests, trapped or otherwise. Many great options from weapons to gems to food to be added to chests including gold, silver, copper etc. You can make your own static or dynamo chest for the party which we absolutely love. You can use this in a zoom meeting to make getting that end-session loot even more amazing.
Theres a few things we would change and when we wrote about a bug they fixed it right away but we wish we could add created items to random chests quickly.
