-Shader effects (enable in settings) – Right now adds displacement/shockwave effects such as teleport, water ripples, nuke shockwaves.
-Overrides for each players in multiplayer and advanced skirmish
—AI difficulty can now be set differently for each AI player
—Starting units can be different for each player, useful for faction selection in mods.
—Unit color can be overridden for each player

Been playing for a long time. It scratches an itch not many other games can match. It feels like a pc game on handheld. But it is lacking in units. Maybe have units have upgrades? Maybe even more building upgrades. Very good game as is. Does get boring. Until you miss it and pick it up again.
Its pretty good for a mobile game, tho it leaves things to be desired. Solid single player fun.
Takes us back to playing C&C. The marketing is accurate: no micro transactions, no ads, no timers. Just game play, and we love it.
Buy it on steam, mod support does justice.
The greatest ever > need more new units or progression tree something like that would be awesome.
This is a full RTS down to its bones. Cant recommend enough. One small issue Ive been having is that the sound becomes staticky and drops out when playing while using AirPods 2 Gen 2.
This is a peak RTS game if you enjoy somewhat simple gameplay but easily complex playstyles. Ive sunk hour after hour into this both on mobile and pc. Adore the game, addictive and fun.
Look we like this game and Ive been liking it a lot for the years, but we think you should add the bugs as a new function type because you know you need to update their affection so they can have more troops and reinforcements we like this game, but you must add more to the game.
Hey this rts game is better that others on mobile and a few on PC but besides all that the campaign is good just wished it couldve been more chaotic further into the campaign and hope to see in the future that there would be new units and maybe an expansion for the campaign and for the new units if you want to but yeah this game is amazing and keep up the good work.
Supreme commander meets: Retro+ more modern less futuristic (in a good way). We recommend this game to any and all RTS lovers we meet.
This game is the definition perfection it makes you feel like an actual general of an army but we think it needs more stuff to make it even better like an source pool but in the water like an oil rig or something and it also would be amazing if you add like an airship and some more experimental units like something that goes underground. In resume this game its amazing but we would like to add a few more things for next updates.

Had danced around the decision to get this for a couple weeks but after buying its safe to say this is one of THE best mobile games out there. Literally worth every dollar. Cant even get this much fun out of Halo Wars 2.
We have play a lot of rts game but this one was our favorite game and our first one that we have played and still play it. We remember playing this game 7 years ago and our brother help us get started and they played to this game is the gold standard for when we play other rts game but after we finished we hop back on here and have some fun.
Awesome game, doesnt need much in terms of balancing, but some new things might be nice. A portable nuke launcher would be nice, maybe it would only be single use, or maybe it would be a smaller missile, which brings us to smaller missiles, instead of having some expensive and time consuming nukes, maybe we could have missile systems? You could probably just integrate the anti nuke launcher into something similar, just name it missile launcher and have it still keep its anti nuke function but with the ability to shoot them at general areas, maybe also make the anti nuke missiles have a certain range or accuracy to make it slightly harder to defend, and for multiplayer, please make it so you can send money or transfer full ownership of buildings/units to allies. Obviously some more units could be needed, maybe add a wall building? It could provide a physical barrier for units, and it would be genuinely sick to have a mountain fortress. Maybe we covered something already in the game, but please look at this review, as of this time, the last update was over 2 years ago, so im concerned about the future state of this game. However, consider taking ideas from the community to maybe add some flavor or more depth to this game. Peace out, and stay safe.
We hope they have more updates for this game there not much out there like this and we like how you can get mods for it and there is a endless amount of fun.
We love this game but we cant immerse ourselves in the game with mods due to the fact that theres no sound.

Amazing game. This is all we want in an RTS on mobile and the controls are exceptional even competing with PC level effectiveness. Our only gripe is that the drop down menus when creating a new skirmish game go off of the screen and there is no way to select teammates in this mode because of this.
One of a kind on iOS mobile we missed work to play this when we first bought it.

We have been playing this game for about a year now after we found it on youtube. Yes, it is very easy to install mods, but we just wish there was more official content. And we're not saying that there is no content in the game, but it is lacking some. Overall, it is a good, simple RTS game that can be very challenging. With a mod or two installed, it can be a very fun game.
2025 UPDATE: Still playing and enjoying the game on our iPad Pro. Maps and mods are amazing! Highly recommend joining Reddit & Discord for more information on how to access and apply unit and building mods to your iOS device. Previous review from when the game was first released: Let us first say thank you to Corroding Games for finally bringing this awesome RTS game to iOS. We actually had to force ourselves away from the game for a moment to write this review. It was definitely worth the wait. We have to say when going into playing this game we had our mouse and camera connection ready to utilize in the iOS version. While its possible to use it, its really not necessary. If anything, we were really surprised to see that the onscreen UI works great! It took us a few go arounds to get use to with the three finger drag to zoom in/out, but we were able to play it perfectly. Great job on that! We honestly cannot find any flaws in this game by way of bugs, or AI acting funny. The game plays just as great on our iPad devices just as well as on our when playing the Steam version. Our only request to the developer is that if we could see some more units/vehicles/infantry/Mechs/structures ( hint, hint ) etc. Introduce into the game in future updates. Im not sure if its possible to incorporate mods in iOS like in Steam, but if not thats fine. Just being able play Rusted Warfare on iOS is a dream that finally came true. A definite 4.5 s out of 5 s with hopes of us changing it to an official 5 s with the possible chance of more units, vehicles, and structures added to the game. Thank you Backstory of first playing the game: we first got wind about this game on Twitter almost three years ago (1/18) via Chrono.gg when it was on sale for $3. We figured, what do we have to lose? But when purchasing and playing the game, we wasnt expecting the amazing content and gameplay. The game definitely delivers in the RTS department by way of gameplay, and content. Also what makes the Steam version awesome is the mods that are available in the Steam workshop and the creators that make them. Mechs, creatures, units, infantry, its all there! Highly recommend for Steam, as well as the iOS version. You wont be disappointed, if youre a fan of RTS.
Don't let the simplistic graphics dissuade you, this is a perfect RTS for mobile. The controls are simple enough to grasp and once you do the gameplay is smooth and the upgrade paths have enough variation to make actual strategic thinking nessesairy.

We absolutely love this game. Its an actual real RTS game and thats incredibly enjoyable. We love the game and we would love to see continuous updates for the game. We dont know if the developers are continually updating and we hope they are because this is one of the few games we absolutely love and enjoy playing.
We love this game to death we crave rts games the game is its just ughhh lovely though what we do hate when ever we play skirmish maps with up to 3 bots or more and we put it vs all we hate that the bots team up instead of fighting each other like we chose a vs all not a 3 vs 1 we just would be happy if this was fixed and it makes us slightly mad to see the bots team up instead of fighting.
If there is Chinese, it would be even better. We hope it can be updated later.
Worth it for sure we bought it on a wim and we have been having some fun with it the maps are interesting and fun and with the help of mod support this game has a lot of hour of fun.
Now that Im in your good graces with a well deserved 5 stars, Id love to have an experimental unit that resembles a Gundam mobile suit. It would realistically be very costly and need a specific manufacturing facility for it with a much slower manufacturing time than any other unit; the payoff, however, is a near unstoppable, sleek, quick mecha with a classic sword and shield and set of ranged weapons. The kicker; Id like to be able to pilot it. Thank you.

This is our type of game. Its the closest thing to Warcraft II- the tides, a game we fell in love with in the 90s.
Its a breath of fresh air to have a game like this on mobile but please fix the menu scrolling, and an all units/ local units button would be nice.
Go into settings and there should be a add files button. Click that and you should be able to import mods and maps.
Its a fun game just has not updated in an long time.
So, ever since we were little kids, weve ALWAYS seen our dad playing Total Annihilation. We would play campaigns, skirmishes, but we ALWAYS missed out on multiplayer. 2 things. 1. We got our dad, AND our brother into a 10 person BRAWL with A.we. And we had 4 hour bender. No lag, SUPER easy to set up, and EXTREMELY fast. 2. We LOVE the retro graphics. They just make the game unique and Perfect for a mobile game. One thing we would maybe think about adding if youve got time. We love customizing our own stuff. We would love to add our own themes to buildings. Even if it made them look janky, it would still be pretty cool because its unique. And theres GOTTA be a progression system. Even if its achievements or something, thats fine. We LOVE this game, you should definitely check it out if your into military strategy games. This is pretty much where the great RTS games started.

Love this games highly recommend if you like strategy games but be sure to join the discord sub for this game as there is a ton of maps and mods you can get on the mobile version very easily.
Best game ever made!!!!!! We dont even need data or WiFi and can enjoy the game. We love the game and have been playing it since we were little. Nostalgia.
Every time when we have 3-5 mods installed it just crashes.
Love this game! It would be great to see an update as its a solid game that deserves continued investment. Wish list: different way to zoom in and out.
This game delivers on all of our RTS needs. Id give it 6 stars if we could. Id like to see (and Id happily pay for) some add ones for it.
