Where is the rest of Gods Town??? It just ended mid story! We have no clue what is going on.
NEW UPDATE AS OF 10/15/24: Ive been playing this app when it was still just Deadmans Phone, and it as riveting as it was back then, its even more so now. We know for awhile Scriptic just had whats now Redman, Unmasked, and a few other mini-series. But lately Im really loving all of the effort the developers are putting in to produce new content for users – and for practically free, with no wait time at that! Its been a blast having this distraction from an otherwise difficult time in our life we originally loved (and always will) the full-length series where youre working as detective throughout several episodes. It makes the immersive content and the actors seem much more interesting, given your prolonged experience chatting with them. Unlike in many other immersive game experiences, you can actually chat on the phone with them too most other games offer the option of a call, but without the user being able to respond until after the call ends. The judge episodes were hilarious to play through, and we really enjoyed the hostage negotiator series, too. It was fun to go back and have the option of choosing the most moronic choices, lol – we appreciate the sense of humour in that! Strange Waters (we believe was the name?) was interesting, not our fave, but not bad at all. Then we REALLY enjoyed having a new episode to play and solve each week with the Urgent Cases. You dont always get the suspect on the first try – you genuinely need to try to keep in mind what evidence you have, the personality of the suspect youre dealing with, etc. Its interesting too how sometimes the line is blurred and things arent always so black and white (for instance, the case with the heavy metal singer falling/being shoved out a window, a well-respected career long officer who is one of your own, mistreatment of immigrants, and so on). Often in these cases you get to choose whether you sometimes let a guilty person go (because you understand the situation isnt so cut and dry) or sometimes, a truly guilty person may go free because well, lifes just unfair. Now that you guys have come out with this new creepy cult podcast series Gods Town, we look forward to every Wednesday! We have no idea why its only rated at a 4.5, given all the effort put in, the lack of ads, lack of money charged. If you guys needed to charge a monthly flat rate subscription fee Id have no problem paying it, as long as you keep putting out such exciting new content! Thank you, developers.
We are enjoying our time with this game and have finished the two main stories. We are playing the urgent homicide detective stories and we are enjoying it so far. Our only complaint is that the game will not progress further on episode 2. Spoilers: Whenever Sutherland asks Vikram to look into more evidence in the crime scene, Vikram responds and says hell get back to us as soon as he finds something. The game then doesnt allow us to exit or respond with anything else unless we exit the app completely. Then when we return we are able to exit but Vikram still hasnt responded back. There is also no timer to indicate that we have to wait a certain time for him to respond; its like the episode froze. We hope to see this fixed soon.
The game took forever to get past 29% for loading when we first opened it up but after that we really enjoyed playing it.
We really do love this game the graphics everything about it the only reason we said but was because recently and we dont know if this is happening on everyones but every time we try and open the app it gets to half way done loading then it says this Try restarting the app, come back later, or contact support. And we did all three of thoes things but its been like 4 weeks and we still cant get into it so Im trying this instead cause we would really like to play this game again.
We love this game we really do but the problem is that Im deaf so we want this app to update for a close caption so we dont have to worry about how to not able hear what they send a voice message or video message plus missing what they says thanks for read if ur do :).
Keep coming back to th game to play our first ever played game on this app and it keeps giving us a loading screen with a skip option and nothing works. Frozen and no app updates available.

Stories in this game are super deep and well produced. The game is now also free with some wait times but ITS SUPER WORTH IT KEEP IT UP DEVELOPERS.
Hey, this game is great and we heard of it in October of 2023 we love it still, but we wish there was kind of more with the dead mans phone series, its very great. Oh the Netflix edition is just as good.
This is seriously one of our favorite games ever but we finished all of the stories, pls add more.
The dead mans phone stories are great but some of the rest of it feels a little mediocre-subpar.
Compared to a few other apps similar to thisI find it not as engaging. As a player, we spent roughly 70 % of our time reading scripts and the rest clicking on clues that youve already highlighted. There isnt much of an experience when it comes to detective mode. Also, some parts should have been voice..ie audible ..It would break up the illusion of this app coming off as an e-reader with pictures. Also, the time limit for the stories to move onis a bit crazy. We shouldnt have to come back every five minutes or better yet wait 15 hours to move on to a next stage. Provide mini games and get some audio in here. Ill check it back out if and when things are added an/ or tweaked.
Good game, really buggy. Had to delete the app because we could only hear the game when we plugged it into headphones? Didnt do that the first time we downloaded. Why is it that when we redownloaded the app, ALL of our progress is gone and we have to start all our stories from square one? Not only that though, the coins we spent on the stories are still gone, and we still cant hear the game.
Always played this game we just wished you guys made the stories free again.
We dont know if its our phone or game but its stuck on episode 5 after downloading the 122 MB. After that it felt a dark screen with nothing popping out.
This is by far one of the BEST games we ever downloaded!!! We cant even put it into words but theres some glitches going on towards the end of some of the episodes.
We liked it but there was no sound we even turned up our volume but still no sound, and the sound you turn on that doesnt even work.
This is by far the best game in its genre. By now we've completed all of the Dead Man's phone series except for the last two Urgent Cases episodes, as well as Viral and God's Town and we loved them all… Except for the last two episodes of Redman. The problem is that when we reach episode 5 we just get a blank screen until we go back to the episode selection screen, delete episode 5, and re-download it. However, the new download overwrites the choices we made in episode 4 and the story is different in one crucial aspect that forces us into a truly awful ending, and we HATE it. We're not the only one with this issue, either, as evidenced by the many Reddit posts on the subject. Unfortunately, given how long it seems to have been in place, it looks like the devs don't care to fix it.
What happened to Gods Town it just stopped mid story Ive been waiting for the update since October did they abandon it.
Gets stuck. They keep updating the game and you have to start the chapter over. Ive had to do the same chapter 3 times now. We wish they would allow you to skip wait times for tasks when they force your to restart.
Our only problem with this app is the wait time. We dont want to wait an hour to read stories, nor do we want to wait 45 minutes to an hour to progress in the story like Viral or Dead Mans Phone. Its really inconvenient and pushes us away from the game. This would be less of an issue if using the coins to decrease the time made it so it skipped the timer entirely, but it doesnt. It shortens it by a few minutes but thats it. Some people dont have time to wait, and theres just no need for the timer. Please get rid of it.
Honestly this is the best game we ever played it gives you a really good feels on what help operators really go through to get trust of the victim and the need to keep everyone alive.
The voice and the cc don't come together. It's a bit of nuisance.
Not really a review but is there going to be more than 2 games on the scriptic Netflix because we would really love to play another game than the two thats already on there.

We didnt have much hope for this one. We expected it to just be your average text-based stat using game or one that you would have to spend a ton of money on. But, its far more complex (and cheaper) than that. We adore the storytelling and the way that everything feels so immersive. The voice acting is great too! Ive noticed that a lot of our responses dont really count towards the overall story, but thats okay! Not everything has to have a different ending. Great game, and we hope theres more stories soon, but we understand that producing good-quality content is expensive and time-consuming. We do think more people would be encouraged to play if there was a way to get coins through watching advertisements or something free, but thats just our opinion. Try it for yourself! :).
We love the first few episodes that we got to play but we wish we knew that we would have to pay to play the rest. Theres no point in making a game free on the App Store if youre going to make users have to buy all the content within the game.
The game is gold, another detective type of game which is really detailed. Love the main stories and hope there are gonna be more. Please dont stop creating new main episodes creators. LOVE THEM.
We never leave reviews but we have to for this game. This is the best game we have ever played and that is saying a lot. We love everything true crime but have yet to find a true crime game that is actually worth anything, until we found this one. The graphics and story lines are amazing. It makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the case and you are really a part of what is going on. We love everything about this app.

Ive tried playing this game like 3 times, redownloading it, turning our phone off and on, even clearing up storage on our phone thinking that might be the problem but our game never even makes it past the stupid fingerprint loading screen.
Why cant all texting simulator mobile games, roleplaying mobile games, interactive, text based etc mobile games be like this game? Im not saying that they should all have the same story, graphics and game mechanics. No, we mean the system in which they gain profit. The game is a set amount. You know how much you need to spend before you play any of their games. Yes, there is multiple games or episodes within this app. There are no ads because you pay for the episodes. It is completely worth it, believe us. We played the detective case a long time ago and we didnt finish because life is a distraction. It wasnt because we didnt like it. We might have been hesitant to buy it too, because well Ive had so many bad experiences with micro purchases. Thats not how this is. Ive made it through all the horror stories and we were literally on the edge of our seat and our heart was racing. Ive watched horror movies, read horror books and Ive played horror movies since we were a kid soif we find it scary and thrilling, then it most likely will give the regular person a heart attack. So bewareyoure in for a scare! (Goosebumps anyone?? No!?) Whatever, just download the app.
Episode 3 of dead mans phone doesnt work.
So our problem is that the app doesnt load and says Internet connection error retry? But we turn off internet connection and turn it back on again and we reinstalled the app still the same thing pops up.
You must pay for everything, the app is useless without paying.
You have to pay to even start playing. Waste of a download.
Once you sign in you have to pay for coins to even start a story.
Been playing for a while quit there for a moment after first season but now after season two a bit of fear kicked kinda thinking like is something gonna happen to us now that our name is there but we know this is a game but in a way stimulates what real officers go through btw we do love it.
If you have ANY amount of undealt with PTSD from being a dispatcher or first responder, some of the Dispatch episodes might take you on an unwanted trip down memory lane. Hearing a man tell you he doesnt want to die alone..yeah. Just be careful.
Why does Netflix edition not have the most recent updates.
We loved the game and loved playing the episodes only thing we despise is the fact you get so into episode 1 and they make you pay for all the episodes after.
We cant get past the loading screen it stoops halfway through and wont load.
It wont load the game up so thats a bummer.
Every time we close the app the whole storyline starts over wont let us finish later.
We had this game a while ago when it was only one story (redman/the first one). We played all the episodes since they were FREE. We got the game again just yesterday and finished the first episode of that story. Turns out, you have to pay for the rest of the episodes?? We get if the developers need money or whatever but come on!!! Completely ruined the experience if anyone else doesnt know the ending already. While we love the development and story overall, having to pay for it kinda ruined it.
Don't play this game unless you like made up problems. Not only does the text section go on for hours without letting you interact, also the interrogation section says like two words and then goes to the next line two more words the next line, it's annoying. Then ofc they have to make one of the cases about something that rarely happens anymore but the media pushes. Not only that if you a guy eventually you have to be gay. Weird.
