Hyper realistic simulation. We love the concept of the games. Very interesting stories to offer.
We wish we thought of it. Its really engrossing.
We didnt have much hope for this one. We expected it to just be your average text-based stat using game or one that you would have to spend a ton of money on. But, its far more complex (and cheaper) than that. We adore the storytelling and the way that everything feels so immersive. The voice acting is great too! We’ve noticed that a lot of our responses dont really count towards the overall story, but thats okay! Not everything has to have a different ending. Great game, and we hope theres more stories soon, but we understand that producing good-quality content is expensive and time-consuming. We do think more people would be encouraged to play if there was a way to get coins through watching advertisements or something free, but thats just our opinion. Try it for yourself! :)
We love the first few episodes that we got to play but we wish we knew that we would have to pay to play the rest. Theres no point in making a game free on the App Store if youre going to make users have to buy all the content within the game.
We never leave reviews but we have to for this game. This is the best game we have ever played and that is saying a lot. We love everything true crime but have yet to find a true crime game that is actually worth anything, until we found this one. The graphics and story lines are amazing. It makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the case and you are really a part of what is going on. We love everything about this app!!!
The game is gold, another detective type of game which is really detailed. Love the main stories and hope there are gonna be more. Please dont stop creating new main episodes creators. LOVE THEM.
We’ve tried playing this game like 3 times, redownloading it, turning our phone off and on, even clearing up storage on our phone thinking that might be the problem but our game never even makes it past the stupid fingerprint loading screen.
We love the storylines and how easy it is to get invested into the game. Our only problem is theres no way to earn coins to be able to buy the next episode.
Why cant all texting simulator mobile games, roleplaying mobile games, interactive, text based etc mobile games be like this game? Im not saying that they should all have the same story, graphics and game mechanics. No, we mean the system in which they gain profit. The game is a set amount. You know how much you need to spend before you play any of their games. Yes, there is multiple games or episodes within this app. There are no ads because you pay for the episodes. It is completely worth it, believe us. We played the detective case a long time ago and we didnt finish because life is a distraction. It wasnt because we didnt like it. We might have been hesitant to buy it too, because well we’ve had so many bad experiences with micro purchases. Thats not how this is. We’ve made it through all the horror stories and we were literally on the edge of our seat and our heart was racing. We’ve watched horror movies, read horror books and we’ve played horror movies since we were a kid soif we find it scary and thrilling, then it most likely will give the regular person a heart attack. So bewareyoure in for a scare! (Goosebumps anyone?? No!?) Whatever, just download the app.
So our problem is that the app doesnt load and says Internet connection error retry? But we turn off internet connection and turn it back on again and we reinstalled the app still the same thing pops up.
Episode 3 of dead mans phone doesnt work.
You must pay for everything, the app is useless without paying.
Once you sign in you have to pay for coins to even start a story.
You have to pay to even start playing. Waste of a download.
If you have ANY amount of undealt with PTSD from being a dispatcher or first responder, some of the Dispatch episodes might take you on an unwanted trip down memory lane. Hearing a man tell you he doesnt want to die alone.. Yeah. Just be careful.
Been playing for a while quit there for a moment after first season but now after season two a bit of fear kicked kinda thinking like is something gonna happen to us now that our name is there but we know this is a game but in a way stimulates what real officers go through btw we do love it.
Why does Netflix edition not have the most recent updates?
We loved the game and loved playing the episodes only thing we despise is the fact you get so into episode 1 and they make you pay for all the episodes after.
Every time we close the app the whole storyline starts over wont let us finish later.
We cant get past the loading screen it stoops halfway through and wont load.
It wont load the game up so thats a bummer.
We had this game a while ago when it was only one story (redman/the first one). We played all the episodes since they were FREE. We got the game again just yesterday and finished the first episode of that story. Turns out, you have to pay for the rest of the episodes?? We get if the developers need money or whatever but come on!!! Completely ruined the experience if anyone else doesnt know the ending already. While we love the development and story overall, having to pay for it kinda ruined it.
Saw many good reviews for this game and we always love interactive stories (especially crime related ones) but we cant even get the game to load up. On or off wifi. Idk if this is a bug or what but pretty disappointing.
Don’t play this game unless you like made up problems. Not only does the text section go on for hours without letting you interact, also the interrogation section says like two words and then goes to the next line two more words the next line, it’s annoying. Then ofc they have to make one of the cases about something that rarely happens anymore but the media pushes. Not only that if you a guy eventually you have to be gay. Weird.
It would be nice to play two episodes so we could make our final guess on who the murderer is!
And theres no sound at all so we cant hear any of the sound clips.
We were so excited for this game, but we cant even open the game. Itll start to open and then crash.
Every time we open the app it freezes on the loading screen. We have refreshed it and everything. We even deleted the game and reinstalled it. Nothing works.
Its an AMAZING game, love the realism and everything. But its extremely offensive how expensive it is to play. Its a literally pay to play game, and you can only play one episode before you have to pay 16 dollars for the rest of the story. It should be 1 dollar for each episode, and more like 6-7 dollars for the entire season.
We played it before you had to pay for like all the episodesthe game was better when everything was free and you didnt have to pay just to get off a cliffhanger.
If you see all of the reviews on their adverts on apps such as Tik Tok; you will see everyone complaining about 1 thing.. THE PRICE!! You get 1 episode for free and then the rest of the season you have to be 4 quid PER episode. Theres more than 6 episodes PER season!! They could at least create 1 free season so we know what were getting ourselves into. Dont advertise the price, do you??
We had them game before you had to make us start paying and we really enjoyed it until we saw we couldnt download no more , no biggie we ended up finding this which made us happy because it was our favorite game we downloaded it and stuff and enjoyed it until we seen we had to pay for all the episodes which was off because it was free before . If youre gonna make a game where people are gonna have to pay just make us pay for the whole game instead of having us download it for free to just get one free episode . By the way it was wayyy better when it was free xx .
We are so glad we found this game. Honestly, when we downloaded this we thought we wouldve had to pay for some things or even watch an ad for something or we would have to buy stuff for some choices. But imma be real with you, this game is the best game we have ever played. The story is so good, it made us sad that this game ended. We finished this game is a DAY. This game is so nice and honestly we would recommend it if ur looking for this game. If the creator is reading this, yall should never change a thing in this game. Its the best, props to u for this whole game. We loved it! Great job. And we got to attached to this game like it was a real thing. We absolutely loved it!
This game is honestly so much fun !! It gives you a chance to feel what its like working with the government when it comes down to situations like this. The world we live in is very similar to this game , and we feel like whatever decisions we made in this game were the right decisions to help get justice for young black teenagers , we say download this game , 10/10 !!!
Ill update this once we’ve actually played the game through (getting ready to do so now). But for some insane reason, one person actually says exactly who the killer is in their review. Why would you do that?! And no, theres not a spoiler alert of any sort, even. So this is a warning to those reading the reviews who dont want the ending spoiled, the same way we didnt. We cant find the review at the moment or Id put the user name so that others checking reviews for the game QUALITY wouldnt have the same crappy spoiler experience we did. Thats not why people read reviews. Unfortunately, you can also kind of conclude what the ending is as well by many other reviews which strongly point to the ending but dont outright say it. Developers should really delete the review which names the killer (or edit it at least, since we understand you guys dont want to lose a 5 star rating). You guys also have to remember that you may lose a lot of players from this too; given most people dont want the ending ruined. Personally, its going to make it a lot less fun for us. If its not hyper immersive and entertaining then we likely wont finish it since we really had planned on finding out the killer on our own.
We have never written a review for anything but this game definitely needs some recognition. This game has been so well thought out, it is extremely detailed and so enjoyable to play. The story telling along with the plot twists and suspense all make this game so addictive. If you are intrigued by crime shows, this will definitely make you feel like you are living in one. It has immaculate story telling on real life situations. The best part is that everything is completely free which makes the game so much more enjoyable; no ads, no paying for extra stuff. We 100% would recommend this game to anyone.
Though this game had little crashes in our opinion like something would take way to long to load or something didnt appear, but besides that it all worked perfectly. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE ENDING, we HAD A FEELING IT WAS THEM BUT DIDNT KNOW FOR SURE. We find it funny how you can build a friendship and a trust with a fictional character. We LOVED HOW YOU DONT HAVE TO WATCH ADS FOR ANYTHING AND THAT IS ALL IS FREE. We ADORE THE FACT YOU CAN SKIP THOUGH THE WAITS AND THAT IT HAS TWO ENDINGS. The first ending is so phenomenal and chilling, we do wish that there was a little more as to what happens with the guys. We pray that there will be a season 2 because we need to know more, but if the season 2 ends up being just another murder that is totally and completely fine. The option ti choose as to what to say was awesome and there should be more like it.
This was an experience that we havent experienced in an app before, let alone a free one. This game was amazing. It was fun, interesting, and there were turns at every corner. This review will not spoil anything. We love the message it sends to the player. As a white woman in America, we can only see the experience of a black person through stories from the news/black people themselves or through a bystander perspective. While we will never truly understand, we loved having that extra perspective and information that we saw through this game. Thank you for making this and thank you for making more people aware of racial privilege and things that come with it. That being said, this game was absolutely awesome and we cant even begin to talk about how this amazing game is free. Thank you for that we cant wait for season 2!!
This is the best detective games we’ve ever played. We started playing at 8 oclock and before we knew it, it was 5:30 in the morning. Im on episode four and we cant get enough. So many twists and turns and it still has us guessing. We love it.
We love the story and how they also bring light to the BLM movement this game overall is amazing.
Theres a lot of detective games on this app store, and usually, theyre all garbage. This is not one of those. This is a legitimate detective game, with REAL interactivity. Theres a waiting aspect that can be skipped, but also allows you to take breaks. Everything is crystal clear, and the gameplay is phenomenal. Id rate this six stars if we could.

The best game we have ever played. Wish more situations/stories was added. It would be nice. The freedom you have, the fact that every choice matters. Would be willing to pay a .99 to 2 dollars for every new story or such.
We been obsessed for last couple of days !! We love the fact u don’t have spend money u can actually enjoy playing without ads and the extra we been detemine to figure the case out to point ill be up all night . With our note book wide open with clues , we really was feelin like a detective its great hopefully they’ll make more but whom know.
We absolutely loved this game and finished it in two days. It was so addicting and we just needed to know what happened next! We love that everything is free and theres no fake money or waiting involved. Its so immersive and makes you feel like you are actually in the story. We also have to say this is very powerful and sends an important message. It definitely corresponds with the times we are in. We would 100% recommend this game to anyone.
We went to episode 3, we almost made it to beat the episode, but when we try to go snap life, everything is white, all the posts and friend lists is gone, (might be a bug) im dead stuck now Edit: the snaplife was finally fixed, im in episode 5, but when we try to open the video that jermoe send from barely (restored) it keeps crashing and takes us out of the game (sorry for our poor English)
It was a good game, we finished it in just a few hours, very heartbreaking story and Im glad we played it the way we did bc wow.
This game is addicting. No Im app purchases. Straight to the game. The only thing we dont like is that there isnt more seasons. This game could be something amazing or short lived.
