This game is one of the best games, but it is hard to master. The layout is very easy to navigate, and the missions are very thought out, to teach you from the basics to the advanced. Over all this game is one of those games you won’t want to delete off your I-Device.
Everything this dev team makes is fun.
If we could have two things added we think it’d be cool to see 1) ability to leave spaceship and walk around via Eva suit 2) a "wing" like addon so our spaceship can glide on re-entry Also when entering Smerth nothing really happens on re entry or any atmospheric planets, no burning up or anything. Other than that, amazing game and fun gameplay.
This is a great game! It had all the mechanics, very realistic, and fun to play! The only thing we think needs to be added are reentry effects and 3D rockets. You miss out on a lot of rocket space when it’s just 2D.
We love the game, worth $1.99. We found a bug(I think) sometimes we try to land on Smupiter but when we are orbiting and using atmosphere and parachutes to slow down we normally, after a few orbits, randomly explode at a couple hundred km at 17. Something km/s. Plz fix this and also let parts connect at multiple spots that you choose. Those changes would make a perfect game. P.s. Srb’s are for launch, and ions+Solars=a perfect deep space travel mechanism.
Such a cool concept and such a perfect delivery is what makes us want to come back everyday. We can’t believe we had never heard of this game until 2 weeks ago we were once like you, oblivious to how to orbit Smearth properly, with no idea of how to land safely on the moon and we too used to sit in our couch aimlessly browsing Facebook for something that could catch our attention. That was until we found this game. The whole possibilities of what we could experiment on… Oh boy we couldn’t put it down… Used it in the shower, in class, hushed a lecture from our mom in an attempt to beat the Leaderboard. It was all worth it. 11/10 would escape Smearth and turn our rocket around to smash into it again.
As the name implies, this game is about the simple physics involved in rockets and space flight. The simplicity allows the player to explore the (simpler) sciences involved and a sandbox mode to challenge the player to make their own missions and goals. Just try flying to Mars and you will see that even the simple mechanics involved requires more complex thinking. What about low orbit around the Sun? Each task requires the staging and design of a rocket to accomplish your mission. Wonderfully done on PC, and (near) flawless port to iPhone.
This game is almost perfect. I’d like to see re-entry effects and 2d internal views. Keep up the good work.
Great game very fun simple planes is also very fun but we think it would be really awesome if you made a detailed car building and driving game like the simple planes but with cars that would be really cool.
What we mean is thatwell we had a guardian skin on and now we can’t de-activate it or change it where are the skins button please help.
We saw the trailer for this on reddit, people said it was a very fun game an it’s even on iOS! So we bought it. And here we are fully addicted! Great game!
Kerbal Space Program in recent months has proven that spaceflight sims can be engaging and fun games. Coming hot off its heels is the more simple yet still fun SimpleRockets. The game, which is described by its creator as a cheaper, less packed version of KSP, includes 15 missions that range from mind-numbingly simple to extremely complex and challenging missions that require the player to think in terms of orbital mechanics. On top of that, a sandbox mode is included so the player can freely explore the in-game solar system, and can build up infrastructure in space without worrying about real world obstacles such as cost and feasibility. A recent update has made several great changes, from adding batteries and ion drives to the addition of a comet for the player to explore. However, our one gripe with this game is that when you are on the surface of other planets, there just isn’t much to do. You can build simple rovers, but that’s really it. No research stations, launch complexes, mining facilities, outposts, anything. We get that its a game focused on spaceflight, but we would at least like something to do on the surface of the planets to give us a purpose of being there. Otherwise, this game is really good, and we hope the developer adds more in future updates, because this game is just a few of them away from being one of the best space games on the App Store.
Crashes when we try to load a ship.
Great concept, but there needs to be a better way to stick the pieces to each other in more than 1 direction, otherwise it’s very unrealistic.
The game is great but please lower the altitude requirements for fast forwarding and also THE GAME KEEPS CRASHING WHEN SWITCHING FROM WARP.

Most realistic rocket simulating game we have ever played! It is so fun trying to build a better rocket to get to different places and learn from that attempt and build your rocket better and hopefully make it. Some things that we would like to be added is a rotating item and customizable fuel blocks. Thanks,
We had a problem with simple rockets every time we try a rocket it kicks us out of the game so we play this to calm us down.
Have bought the second one on android tablet and we prefer this one. You may prefer the second, but personally this is better.
** update ** The below review was true till we started to learn the tricks to addd more than 1 Dock Plugs & stuff…. Now we are getting the hang of it… Really tricky. We wish there a way to turn off orbit text… Makes it hard to see vehicles… But thats minor compared to not even getting Vehicles to orbit without explosions. Great game… Changed from 1* to 5… *update we’ve played Space Agency……. Spaceflight simulator… And others getting to build at least the start of a station…. Which is something like 2 solar…4 batteries… Rcs on the station and usually at least 3 connection docks minimum… And 2 ion drives…. Plus a section that has a rocket to move the station &/or the rocket separately from the station…. And no game like this is any where near as complicated as this game. Only 1 station connection can be made with the station we’ve been trying….. And heck we still cant launch past 10k height. The rubber like connections for the side connectors make things unbelievably difficult to space things out. Plus no #s on rocket power, fuel levels, or weight values. Im so close to giving up after 4 days with hours of trying every day. Lack of fairings &/or struts to keep the rockets from being so rubbery sure is a step… Into the not simple. Moving around and zooming on the rocket construction area is more difficult than any other game we’ve seen like it.. Or any other software since before the year 2000… And the lack of settings to have more grid squares also helps make things the most difficult that we can think of… The dang side panel blocks parts unless building that section last. Why this game has side connectors we only assume is for more explosions… Otherwise they look near useless. Even with only 2 stages and no side boosters the rockets still cant stay side by side.. Its like building rockets of jello…. Really? Yes. We could do this simple station in 10 min or less on any other game like it…. Its too NOT SimpleRockets… Its getting to look to be ToodamnNOTSimpleRockets!! In our perspective. Well we did it… No not what we wanted. We didnt try for the full station we wanted. We just did everything except the extra rocket… It took 37 each super sized fuel sections & super size rockets… Rcs… Too much rcs… Usually we only use rcs after reaching apoapsis or when Im close (in other games to a stable orbit (but not close for this game) to a complete orbit this launch took close to 50% rcs and we have enough force to take us to apoapsis… But we still need to set orbit or Ill crash. What? Now that we passed the stage for our ion rockets we cant restart them? …. Thats it we have to 1 * this junk game. Also please rename the game to difficultrockets so others know before attempting to play. … Going on 6 days trying to launch the start of a basic station… No luck… We’ve gotten to apoapsis…. But so little fuel left to establish a stable orbit we had to quit….8 days now. We should delete this lame game for good… Every time we think hey maybe this will do it… And nope. Omg on the 8th day we got the almost a station up. No extra rocket. …. We still have 1/2 fuel and around 90%rcs…. With apo-hight of 165 and peri of 118….. Shouldnt take much more to get the orbit more stable. … Still omg its like jello rockets!! We did finally manage using side booster disconnectors also… Man they are so complicated though and you cant tell what fuel is what… It only displays main fuel… No side booster levels. …. Common way too difficult!! OMM!! Its impossible to cycle through stages to allow for reigniting engines? Yep we are sure its undoable as is. This game is unplayable. At the least it should be possible to cycle trough stages after getting out of atmosphere… Which would allow turning on and off things… At the most it should be possible to rearrange the existing stages…. Pluss to all the other problems of the game. What a promising game thats way to difficult in almost every way. Ill check back for updates weekly or until something better comes along… Like SpaceAgency 2. Im done trying to play as is… We give up.

So we got this game when we were sick a while ago, and have been playing ever since. We feel so accomplished getting rockets into orbits. We decided to get KSP from this game.
This game is awesome it is so creative and we love it.
Love this game! The last update, however, set the screen zoomed in and off center to the point where you can’t see most of the on screen controls. Please fix this! We were just about to do a ‘Smoon’ landing mission. (I’ll change this to a 5 star review when you do) EDIT: update fixed screen issue! Thank you!
When we first got the game we skipped threw all of the missions and the game was really hard. We went back latter and it changed the way we play.
EDIT: They fixed the issue! 5 stars all the way!! Absolutely love this game but now its unplayable because the screen ratio is all jacked up. Giving one star to hopefully draw attention to the issue.

SR2 will be out soon but SR1 is still great at teaching the fundamentals of orbital mechanics. Plus, it’s a lot of fun! It’s only rocket science.
This is a groundbreaking game that can potentially teach you about rocket science and lets you launch a vast fleet of spaceships to explore the solar system. The best part about it is that it takes up very little storage! We would definitely recommend this masterpiece.
So Im on a iPhone 6 Plus and our screen doesnt adapt to the right resolution, our throttle and the time warp are completely gone we’ve tried uninstalling it even soft resetting our phone Help.

We cant wait for simple rockets 2 But other than that, this is amazing Great way to challenge yourself to reach for the stars In our case, literally, we try to fly into the sun Also sadly our iPad is a mini 2 so it cant run sr2.
