Update: Developer put out a fix really fast. Thank you! We can’t get 3.0 to work on our iPad Mini 2 It simply never opens. Love this version of the game and looking forward to playing it full screen.

Exactly what we’ve been searching for.

Of all the 1000s of them. This is the one we always play. Simple, clean, and plays right.

5 years since the last update and this game still slaps.

Excellent settings. Genius design. Thanks for a great app version of this classic Klondike game.

This app assumes our hands are giant or that we always have two hands available to play it. Very annoying. Also, card selection when dragging stacks is weird and unpredictable. But its beautiful.

We want to like this app, but we are having issues. First, it is difficult to get cards to move to a stack, even following the instructions given in the game. Cards seem to get stuck in one spot and it is difficult to drag the whole stack over, or even a single card. The directions give several different options to move stacks/cards and we have tried all of them, but none of them work that well for us. Next, we were playing a game and we left the app open in the background mid-game. When we returned to our game, we were presented with a new game and our old game had disappeared. There appears to be no option to pause or save a game. Given these constraints, even though the interface is nice, we may not be playing much unless these issues are resolved. Edit, updated review: we are enjoying this game despite the above-mentioned limitations. We are therefore upgrading our star rating from three to four stars. The dragging of cards is still too fiddly in our opinion, and the game needs a way to pause or save the current game. Please implement, dev. Thank you.

The ‘Average Time Leaderboard’ and the ‘Win Rate Leaderboard’ are missing, that would be great to see when competing with friends. Other than that the game is super smooth and cool.

Great and fun app, could use some improvements such as: – Identifying game seed/ID – One touch card move – Auto-solve when all cards are revealed & stacked (great for time challenges!) – Game block/end detection – Landscape view design improvements on iPhones (all cards not shown in LS view; LS play completely broken) Also more themes or custom colors could be a nice addition! Keep on the good & quality work!

Its simple and elegant. We wish it had undo and the option for a traditional horizontal layout, but otherwise we love this!

TLDR: for painless play, we would love an option that switches the location of the stockpile versus the settings buttons. Currently have to painfully contort thumb to access. Very nice looking game, beautiful, simple, relaxing. – It has a nice aesthetic love the different modes, and we could definitely see myself playing this at night. The issue that is stopping us from using this version is the location of the stockpile. We know this may be a weird complaint. Folding our thumb down into the corner closest to our palm repeatedly is uncomfortable and within a short time, painful. For those of us with less-than-stellar thumb flexibility, an option to use the stockpile from a different location would be easier. Even just having the stockpile still on the bottom edge, but towards the middle of the phone or even the opposite side would be easier by far. Ideally, an option to replace the settings button with the stockpile would be amazing. Extending the thumb (for us at least) is much easier and painless. Thank you! :)

We would like to be able to move back a movement. Please place more themes. They could place an option to change the difficulty.

Need to add an undo button. Also, when dragging the top card from a pile, its a little difficult. We know to hard press but still dont like it. Also needs an auto collect feature for if youre going to win the game.

The card movement and selection is something thats was very frustrating but we’ve gotten used to it. Now whats really inhibiting our experience is that we cant actually put the game in landscape on our iPhone. Our phone was to be almost vertical for it switch and then when we lay it down on our desk, it switched back. So frustrating!

Like the app. It may just be our bad luck but we get too many unwinnable games.

We LOVE the modern twist in layout! Like the simple easy to understand settings. Okay with the themes, there could be more we suppose however, that really makes little difference to us. Our issue is, well, the same as most complaints, moving the cards. Our purpose of solitaire is to let our mind run and work out issues problems etc while we doing something else that requires little thought. Having to use different methods to move cards depending on where the card is, deck or stacks make is too hard to think of other things. We would love to be able to move any card in the same way, for us that would be double clicking it. Thanks so much for giving a bit of a new twist on a very old game!!!!

Unsure if its just us, but since the last update our win ratio has basically dived. Won 5 games out of last 35, some of which are lost after 5 moves or less. Just seems odd.

Would prefer the whole card showed. Double tap should move the card to the appropriate stack. Need an undo button.

Theres only one bug we have experienced. Sometimes when we win a game it doesnt detect that its over. We tried dragging the king cards (the only cards left exposed) around crazily and repeatedly dropping them back on the stacks until finally the auto finish prompt came back up. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Its very annoying. Im playing with the black background in vertical, card play on the left mode, if that helps. Otherwise we love the game! Thanks!

We dont know if this is us being an idiot, but we’ve found numerous games where Im absolutely stuck on a move and the app itself doesnt let us know its a frozen game. Its happened so many times Im deleting the app, as its not worth it when majority of them are frozen. Plus, theres no way to undo a move, those frozen games count as losses, and its fiddly to move the cards around. Sorry, but Ill pass. Its impossible for solitaire to be this hard.

Good, just want an undo button.

Needs an undo and a hint button.

This game is amazing the design is beautiful and the haptics and general gameplay mechanics are excellent. Our only qualm is the lack of an undo button for moves which dont reveal new information. If we accidentally tap the stack to flip three more cards for instance, we should be able to undo one time to go back. If we drag a card out of the stack, we should be able to undo directly afterward to put it back. We dont think an infinite undo or an undo of revealing information is good, but if we moved a card to the wrong place and immediately changed our mind then it would be a great addition if it let us move that card back.

Addictingly simple. The perfect game when you need a little break or challenge!

We really enjoy this app’s fresh design, the haptic feedback, and minimalistic style. It’s just a little buggy- if you share when you win a game, the image that gets shared is backwards. If you use the night theme, the coloring isn’t consistent (black on red and white on red) and you get BLANK cards. This continues to happen when you switch back to the day theme. Still cool though. We hope he makes a freecell game.

Solid update. Free to play! Still our favorite solitaire game by far.

There are a lot of games we could play with 5 minutes to spare. But we find myself coming back to this one because it’s beautifully simple with a new challenge every time.

Loving the new update. With all of the cloned solitaire apps out there, it is refreshing to see someone put out a creative, well designed take on a classic. The game play is super smooth and intuitive. Game Center integration keeps us coming back trying to move up the leaderboard with a better time. Five stars all day.

The only game we play on our phone just got better with the update!

Solitaere is a minimalistic approach to the classic Solitaire game. No fancy graphics, no background music, no eye-catching animations. Just a few simple bicolor themes. The gameplay is implemented well. Simple drag’n drop interface, which works well in both portrait and landscape mode. However, unfortunately it doesn’t change the iOS screen orientation and it is just in-game, causing some problems with the notification bar and the control center! Other than that, everything else about this game is perfect and we hope to see more themes, IAPs removed, and native screen rotation support in next update.

This is our go to. It’s simple, clean, addicting, and fun. We do wish we could use the other themes without Twitter because we don’t have an account. We have recommended this app to most of our friends and family. But, since the update, the app won’t open and we’re super bummed! Please please please fix this soon!

We have to disagree with the reviews that say this is too hard/impossible to win at. The rules are in keeping with regular solitaire. If you can’t ever win a game, maybe you aren’t as good at strategy as you think. We struggled some at first too and had trouble getting up to a 10% win rate, but now we’ve worked on endgame strategy of shifting cards around and have our average up to 12% (50 wins out of 416 games). Not that that makes us a champ, but the game is definitely not impossible. Update: we’re now at 60 wins in 462 games (13%).

Please add the option to draw one card as well as three. Please separate the volume of the game from overall ringer volume on iPhone. Love the minimalist look, and the sideways portrait orientation, we have been searching for a solitaire app that isn’t ugly! Even more themes would be cool too.

Except for the lack of volume control, it’s a great app.

It’s a neat app, but it’s really hard to select the right card, and it’s a bit hard to distinguish cards, needs a smoother and higher contrast theme.

This is a good game of solitaire, our one con is that you cannot turn off the extremely distracting clicking sound when you move the cards. It makes the game very noisy unless you turn off all sounds on your phone.

We love solitaire, but there has been one game so far that we’ve played of this version where it was not possible to play any card at the beginning. This is an app, so they should be able to prevent something like that from happening, unless they’re going for a "realistic" badly shuffled deck. Also, our only other complaint is when it is impossible to make anymore moves, it should tell you and ask if you want to restart.

Not only is the graphical user interface boring. It’s so simplistic it was really hard to figure out how to get out of the statistics page so we wasted time trying to get back to our game. Fisher-Price toys are also very simplistic. But you really can’t do a lot with them. The one thing that forced us to give an extra star were the statistics are nice. A really good app should always have a menu button somewhere so you can navigate to wherever you need to go QUICKLY in the application. It’s graphical interface design 101!

Poor quality graphics. Frequently doesnt allow a legal move.

We really wanted to like this game. No way to shuffle the deck leads to restarting the game over & over again. Needs work.

We played for hours and never one. No way to customize. This game is infuriating.

First off, "T" is not a card. According to the brain donor who created this app the T card is a 10 card. Yeah. That’s happening. Second, your game will not be saved if you access another app while playing. You have to start over. If solitaire realism is what the dev is going for, they failed. Third, give a heads up if our game becomes unwinnable. Seriously, no notification is just lazy. And yes, it may not be realistic to win often, but winning sometimes makes the game fun. When it’s nearly impossible to win, people get frustrated & put the app down. …. Just like we’re doing.

First game get 5 cards labeled T. Can’t play them anywhere no explanation what it is. Deleting app.

We’ll start by saying the design of this app is very nice. We like the minimalistic approach to the game. Very well done. Now for the bad part. We’ve been playing this game for hours and we haven’t even won a single game. It’s nearly impossible. We don’t even want to play this game anymore because we can’t move any stacks to an open row unless it’s a king. That’s kind of ridiculous… Anyways, we’re justifying our rating based off that alone. We want to enjoy playing a game and when we play this game, we only get frustrated. Though, it can be fixed.

We loved the game. But… Put the option of just one card. Please!
