The first time we played this, it was ok but when we got to the other levels, we started to love the game. We think you all should play this if you are a Sonic fan. If you are looking for a perfect game, play this.

Theres lots of great Sonic remakes, like these and the Fan Made Sonic Triple Trouble 16bit remake! Labyrinth zone sucks.
This is a great port. You got knuckles and tails, you also can go back and pick whatever level you want. But our personal opinion is to get Sonic origins plus and play it that way because it adds Amy and the drop dash.

Its a pretty good game, and Im one of sonic the hedgehogs biggest fans, but theres one problem, ITS HIGHLY INFESTED WITH ADS! If you die, an ad, if you load in yet again AN AD! Also you start with one life instead of three. We really like that they added 1991s sonic the hedgehog to mobile devices but unlike the 1991 version it has ads! And if you dont want to be interrupted the you have to pay money for it! Its a really great game but if you hate ads its not for you.
We like how it is very similar to the original but, just one thing we dont like is that it has ads, unlike the mobile Sonic cd, where there were no ads.Overall we really enjoy It and we think you should do it with sonic 3.
Love it but you could add some things. Add Amy Rose and maybe (this is optional) Cream. Definitely add drop dash and add some of tailss gadgets and maybe also sonic 2 add this stuff. But we do love the game we would give it a100 stars but we cant do that :( thanks for the game SEGA.
Almost lost Sonic cd. Also make final zone boss easier because when we were younger we had a meltdown over that.

Its fun getting to get back to classic sonic levels but 1. You get a single life at the start. 2.sometimes the ad will freeze when u try to get back in the level after a game over which means you have to open and close the app! Sega please fix this.

Whats up with the ads? We dont mind ads in our games UNLESS its for unlocking something, not to show every time we select a save file. Also, why cant we play on airplane mode? Its a single-player offline game. Besides that, its a good port and the controls are fine.
Im a big fan and we love this game but as you saw we dont like the water levels.
Amazing now we dont have to buy a expensive console and game and its really fun, u can also activate sonic 3 shields and our favorite is the fire shield.

First off Id like to say that adding ads and paying to have no ads is kinda stupid and yet Im one of Sonics biggest fans, and dont forget the hard controls. Thank you for the mobile port but please remove all ads and please let us choose how we move depending on tapping and buttons with a stick.

The mobile version of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) is by far an exceptional work of coding. Sonic the Hedgehog Classic also improves on the original by adding Tails and Knuckles as playable characters, ultimately adding diversity to the already engaging gameplay. In conclusion, Sonic the Hedgehog Classic is an exceptional jumping on point for newcomers to the Sonic franchise, and a lovely trip down memory lane for veterans.

We want you to add Amy has a playable character by playing the game as beat the game as sonic tales and knuckles but still great game give the game a try.
Its a good game but please put back Sonic cd and streets of rage 1 and 2 on the App Store because we dont want to use emulation to play these games so please put them back why did they get removed.
