Alright we beat the game! It was just as fun as it was like, 20 years ago. Please do Sonny 2, that one had so much more to it.
Good storyline. Challenging combat. Full game with no pay to win.

Just picked this game up again, played it dozens of times on flash. Its just as good here (as good is already excellent) we just noticed for the first time that if you stay in the dialogue about the tape it will play the whole song. Its worth it If asked. We would struggle to pick a variant combo that is particularly over powered.
The title is a bit misleading as this is still a great game, the flash version was just one of our favorite flash games of all time. Strategy, party, and cooldown management all play a big role. People complain about the need to grind, but we just finished a legend playthrough (no training to grind for levels). It was hard but absolutely doable. Well made and balanced game. Our only gripe is the enemies that artificially increase difficulty by just reflecting damage done back at the player. The rest is awesome.
Been waiting on the 2nd one to be released for years now. Lets get it guys! Love this game so much since playing it in 2012.

Loved the original and its sequel, its really fun to see the story slightly redone and the combat revamped again. We only wish the items applied cosmetics lol.
Aside from a few necessary mobile tweaks (opportunities to watch ada for small bonuses), this is the same if not better than the original Flash version of Sonny. Musics fun, narratives interesting, not too complicated. The only thing about it that bothers us about the game (both then and now) is that passive upgrades need to be slotted into the ability wheel as well as the actives. It feels unnecessarily restrictive. Especially when you unlock a secondary class, making it even more difficult to choose. Ive always wanted to see more of the series. We hope it happens.
Definitely need to make Sonny 2 mobile its so easy to beat sonny 1.
Armor games has been our child hood. This game has been our childhood. We wouldnt trade this game for anything in the world. Sonny is just so good.

Been playing the original flash version of the game long before this was available as an app. Sinjid, Sonny 1 2 and 3, all amazing games. Please make them all into one app and update, will love this game even more. The turn based rpgs is well thought out in this game.

This game is amazing we have played for hours if you want to touch grass than dont get this game but if you want a fun time for sure download.

We played the original and its sequel flashes games what seem so long ago. This hit a spot of nostalgia. Excellently done the system for ads is spot on not having to watch them but getting a little bonus for it. Thanks for bringing it back.
We played this on Armorgames.com as a kid and it makes us so happy that they ported this when Adobe killed flash. We remember the sequel too and we hope they port it as well.

A fun story mixed with beautiful art and amusing dialogue, this is not a game that we expected to enjoy but was happily surprised.
We found this title years ago, on a website called Kongregate, and its amazing that they made it into an app. Letting us relive our childhood.
We are a hardcore sonny fan. We played this game on new grounds decades ago and this is like an HDremake for us. We love this game and the depth presented. We would honestly expect to pay twenty dollars at least for a game like this. If we had to honestly give this game a price we would put it at around fourty to fifty usd. Its a great game and we implore you to pick it up if you are reading reviews to help you make a decision. Thank you so much for bringing this game to mobile. We are having a blast. Playing on iPad. Super great experience.
If you like fantasy turn based rpg games give it a shot its fun. The premise is good, graphics are good, and its not a gotcha game so worth a shot. Try it. Do it. Do it do it do it do it do it.
Sonny 2 is already on pc so please port it over to iOS and or better yet continue the series all together as its a great series.
We played the flash game when we were little, we love it so much ill keep replaying it, if we could ask for anything it would be classic mode! We loved that you could see all the changes you make when picking equipment, although the new art including the sounds are all too pleasing.
We love this game a lot! Wish Sonny 2 was on the App Store. Apple needs to make a deal with Armour Games bc there are so many fun games that deserve to be played on the go!!! Like Sonny 2.
Game is fun to play and brings back memories. Only thing we would change is armor has appearance changes as well as weapons appearing in hand. Other than that the game is just as good as the classics.
We played this game in its original PC form on our laptop when we were younger, and we absolutely loved it! We didnt get through the whole campaign, but now that we rediscovered it here on mobile, we will now!! Great game.

Before the last update, we had two finished game files. After the update, everything erased. Now, started over and made it to stage two. Reloads game, back to stage 1. Not trying to start over unless we choose too. Can you save games better.
Played the og sonny/sonny 2, glad to see it back! Lots of good stuff for a mobile game, which is rare nowadays. Also, one of the only games Im willing to watch an ad or 2 for.
We, like many others, and later the original and its sequel on Newgrounds. The mobile app version features more of the arcadey, fast-paced combat that was prominent in Sonny 2, and distinctly lacks the Samurai-esque vibe that made the original so memorable, but ah well. Time goes on. A good effort, not really buggy, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Anyone who played the original Sonny and its sequel will probably love this game. Its an interesting take on the story that combines elements from both games. The combat is better than ever, except towards the end of the game the fights get a little bit too gimmicky. The art style and cutscenes are great as well, and the cast of characters is certainly an improvement from the original two. The only real gripe with this game is that unlike the originals, equipping different gear doesnt change your characters appearance, not all of the lines of dialogue are fully voice acted, and the character models dont actually move, they are images essentially. But these minor complaints are nothing compared to the amount of fun this game is and it is certainly worth a download.
Great turn based game that brings back memories when we played this on our parents computer. Odd issue with the sound/music enabling itself when fighting.
We played this games 5-10yrs ago online and this game follows the same play style with new stories. 12/10.
The two biggest complaints we see from og fans are that this game is too different from the original, or too hard. First of all, while we did like the Sonny 2 classes best, we dont have anything against Krin trying new things, and we think the system still works well. As far as difficulty, this game is beatable on legend with only physical strain, so while there are definitely frustrating bosses (Brixius), its definitely manageable. Overall, this game didnt do anything groundbreaking, and it didnt need to. It delivered a fun and interesting turn based RPG centered around everyones favorite zombie.
If you played the original, you gotta try this. If you like turn-based rpg combat backed by a unique and original story and versatile tech-trees, you gotta try this. Its an instant win, with or without nostalgia. Thank you for working hard to bring this back, devs.
Excellent work bringing it to the app store with huge updates to quality, voice work, and more. One request: please fix the audio mute functions. They turn back on the moment we enter a fight. The music is great, but Id like to toggle it sometimes.
Hello there Sony is our favorite game and we really hope that youll make part two on the phone.
We were excited when we heard about this game as we played the flash games a while back and we will say it did not disappoint.
We loved the OG Sonny (and Sonny 2) when we played the flash version. It was easily our favorite flash game. While we are so happy that its made it to IOS, we think there are two major pitfalls: 1- No attack animations: Sonny is just this default being that punches with his first. One of the things we loved about the last game was the customization, yet weapons and armor do not even appear on your characters. Which leads to the second point. 2- No armor/weapon visuals: throughout the game, there is no visual indication of Sonny becoming more bad*ss. This was one of the best parts of the last game. We think this version will gain a lot by reintegrating armor visuals on the characters. The designs in the flash games were so good! It always provided great satisfaction to progress and acquire new and better armor/weapons. Now, without the visualization of new armor, we feel like there is nowhere near that same amount of satisfaction Devs, please stick to your roots here! Whats the point of getting better and sicker armor and weapons if you cant even see them?? We hope you consider this in an upcoming update, and we will edit our review accordingly. Apologizes for being critical, but OG Sonny is on such a high pedestal from our early gaming days.
We have a confession to make, we havent actually played the game yet… But we used to play Sonny on the computer probably around a decade ago. Ive longed for years to find a game that brought us as much excitement and fun as Sonny. We even thought to ourselves man, we really wish they would bring this to iOS. Never thought it was actually on here. Will Sonny 2 ever be a thing on here.
We played Sonny and its sequel several years ago on Armor Games and would love for Sonny 2 to be added, or even the Warlord, Call to Arms games.
Ive been waiting for a sonny 3 to come out for years but we guess this will do. Im glad its free to play but we wouldve payed money for it. Im watching as many ads as we can to support you.
