Think of GoF1 but on steroids. This is that game. Also no storyline to initially string you along, and a large expansive universe, although smaller than GoF1s.

We dont write many app reviews but we feel this game is fun and very well made but could be great. We have unlocked all the ships and weapons/equipment and left the game, we have returned to started over (that says something). What brought us back is that this is one of the best space dogfighting game in the App Store, we were hoping the game would have changed in our time away and others would have offered an alternative. Having said that, we would like the option of a cockpit view with a proper HUD, there are arrows to show you where the enemy ships are but not their direction of travel, that can make it difficult when the clock is running down and you only need one more kill but the ship you are chasing shoots by… It would also be nice to have a slightly more in depth story mode and maybe more verity of enemies (capital ships, stations etc). Overall this is a game worth playing, great graphics, responsive controls, lots of ships and gear to buy.

Every time we try to tap the score button in the main menu to view our score and level, the app crashes. Please fix.

This had the potential to be super fun, but a gyroscope only control scheme is frustrating and ridiculous. Not fun at all because of that, unfortunately.

Doesnt work! It loads, no instructions on what to do. We click on credits and it crashes.

Looked good in the App Store. Downloaded the game, but nothing ever happens. All we can do is stare at the home screen. No ship, no gigs, no instructions. Graphics look good, but poor execution. Uninstalling.

Okay, we down loaded this game. We even scored some points. Left the game to return with every battle option closed off to us? Why? Theres no instructions. This game is either defective or counter intuitive. Those whove given high ratings means youve played the game. We cant even begin. Looks like a cool game by the one time we played it. Now we have to delete it. Im using a 2nd gen iPad.

Wow wing commander lives again! Fun to play and look at. More skins would be cool. Thanks you make owning a tablet fantastic!

Please we want free fly soooo badly please ad it.

A lot like the old Escape Velocity series of games. Satisfying dogfights in space. Fly missions to make money to modify your ship or buy another.

It’s a very good game with lots of replayability and a very good concept. Only wish it had different types of controls.

Not bad. We were impressed with strike fighters so we tried this out.

This game is really awesome but needs free flight mode. Also, being able to land on planets and space stations would be great. Stuff is too expensive though.

Better controls and more scenarios and this would be a great game guys.

Love the game! Very fun, easy to play, and awesome! It would be nice if you added more content, like harder difficulty, better controls, and allied A.I., but other than that, it’s five stars!

Fun to pay and build your ship. But there should be more explanations of how things work. Learning the hard way about the range of weapons and other things. Also, there is a glitch where if we use creds to buy a new part, if we close to do something like take a phone call, the creds disappear, but the new item is missing when we restart. Really annoying.

The controls require players to be super precise, making the game unplayable. Also, the lack of a proper tutorial limits the playability of this game.

The controls are very klunky, no explanation in how to play, no tutorial. No way to change the controls from gyro to stick. Never been a fan of gyro exclusive games. If it wasn’t for that we would easily rate a 5 star. But the controls make it too frustrating so uninstalling for now.

We find this program to be excellent in design and realism to boot. The only issue we have with this excellent game is the shaking that occurs while we speed up our spacecraft in an effort to destroy the enemy ships or asteroids. If you could fix this issue this game would be more exciting. Thank tou.

Just need an instruction manual.

We’ve been looking for a space game like this for so long we really like the type of game play it haze, never crashed, all tho we’re dis appointed that there is no free roam out side of the stations but other then that it’s a great game.

First off, the decoy button hardly ever works, and it’s cost us many a mission. Please fix, 3W! Secondly, a no-worries skirmish mode or mission practice modes would be a nice addition. Other than few issues, great job!

How’s about a little instruction page or is that asking too much?

Fun game. The ads are a little annoying but it is a nice game to play.

You should be able to see prices of items (not ship upgrades) comparisons between your current location and locations within your jump/travel range. There should be an option to free roam around stations or planets and even the ability to manually (to an extent) fly between stations/planets/stars/etc. Thus allowing for random run-ins with merchant ships or rogue pirates. And the last suggestion we can think of right now is have more asteroid hunting missions. Oh, one more thing, add an option for touch screen piloting. Not everybody likes using the accelerometer. Thanks Dev’s. Keep up the good work and let’s get some updates.

The only thing that we would like is that you update it for IPad Air 2.

Noticing that the ship/screen jumps during flight mode. Also, the speed, armor and shield bars are black and not easily viewable. All of this makes it difficult during a fire fight.

… Seriously? You make a selling point out of using the phone’s accelerometer, and can’t even figure out how to orient the game for players who don’t want to hold their phone upside down? Wow. Just… Wow.

Great game just has low sound issues.

This game has a good concept except the controls are horrible we can’t tell what way we are going since we are in space.

Love the goals and the different ways you can upgrade your ship.

This is the BEST GAME EVER!!! Tho it needs more ships per lvl and instead of every 5 lvl to be every 3 lvls or so :) thanks that’s all for now.

We want there to be a freeflight mode where you could visit different stations, outposts, etc. And maybe Capital ships for pirates and maybe some version of law who also have Capital ships. It could go like this sometimes where there is like one security officer patrolling an area when all of a sudden a pirate capital ship jumps in. The security officer should send a message for help and should request for a allied capital ship. We’re tired of seeing only one planet per system. Example: In SOL there is only Earth when on the map it says there are 8 planets. If you’re going to add capital ships add fleet battles where there could be fighters flying around and two huge capital ships duking it out. And let it be so that if this took place you would be notified and asked to join a side. Overall this is a really great game that could be improved. We hope you would consider this!

Graphics are decent. Ads detract from the game. Wondering how they can be disabled. Tech "tree" is kinda slow to advance and there’s a noticeable difference in the physics of different ships.

This app is great, especially for a free app. We would like to see a paid version or IAP’s to remove the advertisements. Oh and also some sort of freemode? With stations and planets that are in the system!

This is our favorite game so far and it’s free. Our only complaint is that the graphics would wig out on our iPhone 4, making it impossible to beat the levels.

We enjoyed it thoroughly. Our only possible complaints are that the missions seem a little repetitive and leveling up could be faster. But hey, it’s free. 5 stars.
