Community Insight:

Please add dice for shatterpoint.

Perfect match to the game dice (at least in Armada). However, it could use a landscape mode.

This was our favorite dice app till they removed the D4, D8, D12, D20.

The original reason we bought this was to have digital dice for the SW RPG. It was good, but not great. We ended up using other websites for our RPG dice rolling. We saw there was an update and decided to play around with it. Its easy to say that we love this app now. You can save presets of dice, which is great. And the fact that you can use generic dice means you can use this for any game. Good to see that flexibility! The other dice options are also appreciated and makes us want to run Star Wars XWing again. Great job.

Thank you for adding the generic dice back to what is a very good dice app.

Thanks added the regular dice back in, this has had been our favorite dice roller for any game, now it is again.

Now that the standard dice are back, we have changed our rating to five stars as promised. This app is now a really good dice app. Thanks Fantasy Flight.

This was our primary dice rolling app. Now Im finding a new one after they ripped out a lot of conventional dice(d4,d8,d12,d20). Just because your rulebooks dont specifically call for those dice doesnt mean we wasnt using them, even in those games. But hey, its not like we paid for those features, right? Edit: Those dice have been added back. Our thanks to those working on this app. Our rating has been changed to reflect the change and quick response.

One suggestion: the icon for a dark side point should be a hollow circle with dark center. The icon for light side point should be filled in white circle.

The only two things that are problematic for us: For the rpg, force pips are inverted. The dark side pips show up as white and the light side pips are dark in the results. We dont understand why they would do that. Its confusing. There is no ability to add results when rolling dice. Some situations generate automatic successes or failures in different systems and it would be nice to include them ahead of time. Overall though, its solid and useful if you dont have your dice with you or need more than you have on hand.

We cant seem to find a bug report in the app so Im doing it here. App works great, but when we roll the force dice, the show results function are showing dark side pips as a white circle, and light side pips as a dark circle. We feel like this is reversed and is very confusing. This needs to be fixed. Thank you. (Star Wars Role Playing Game.).

Title says it all. We should get all the dice for the RPG. Its missing the black setback die and the blue bonus die.

We play a lot of RPGs so we cant remember what all is what so Including labels under the symbols as an option for new people to the game who dont know what is what would make this 5 stars for us.

The Value of this app with the removal of of the standard D20 dice set is staggering. Made it useless for the old West End Games Star Wars game.

There use to be a calculator that calculated the results for imperial assault! Not anymore. Thats the whole reason for the app imo was to make it faster and it even use to look better. The user interface was better before. There is no point might as well use real life dice. Terrible Update.

Loss of basic D20 standard dice in addition to removal of the sound packages that changed up the rolling. Now dice rolls are and endless monotonous series of a couple robot whistles. The only update to this was addition of a few background pictures and granting the ability for players to cheat with their dice nudging them to better results. Whether its the RPG or a mini skirmish … Cheating in your dice app is not a good feature.

No more regular RPG dice, unless you just need d6 and d10/d%. BUT! Great if youre playing all the FFG games.

This app is pretty useful and helpful to those that cant the dice quite right or quickly. There is a bug in the version that we found. If you add a boost and it comes up blank it has a 3 as the calculated totals. If you have 2, it will say 6. Didnt notice this with a setback but still playing with it. This is with the RPG.

Removal of the standard dice in this app greatly reduces its value. Otherwise it is useful for its design for the various FFSW games.

Beautifully aesthetic, but please bring us back the regular generic numbered gaming dice, specifically d4, d6, d8, d10/percentile, d12, and d20. That was one of the reasons we loved earlier versions of this app. We could do all our Star Wars games but still have dice for games like Pathfinder or D&D.

It was nice to have some options for other dice types, even if regular dice aren't in any of the Start Wars games. This new update looks nicer, but removed that feature.

Works well but poorly designed for the iPhone X. Lots of text and graphics cut off and it looks weird.

With the last update all of the standard RPG dice have been removed. They removed the d20, d12, d8, and d4. This is makes the application much less useful for anyone who plays other games.

We used to swear by this app as we used it for not only our Star Wars specific but also our general d20 roleplaying. Now that all of the polyhedral dice are gone we have far less use for it, if any, as most tables we play prefer the physical dice. We have not tried to get the variant sounds that were in the last edition but on first glance that customization is gone as well. We really feel that the ball was dropped in a big way here.

We enjoy using the app but with the new update it feels clunky and they have also removed some of the normal polyhedral dice that we used in our current games.

We paid for this app a while back when we were running a Star Wars TT game, and have occasionally used it since as just a dice-rolling app. Im disappointed to find that in this update that functionality was removed. We understand adding more of the various unique game dice, and we think it looks and rolls well. But why take away features from a paid app? Its literally no longer a thing we would have bought. Bring back standard dice and Id change our review back up to a 4.

If there is a way to switch between interface variants, they sure dont make it easy to find. (Ive spent 15 minutes scouring settings and havent found it.) The 1.0 interface had better options, better default settings, and simulated playing a dice-based game nicely. We especially miss being able to select a sound theme. Now, we feel like we paid $5.00 for a $0.99 dice calculator with the Star Wars logo. We think the dev team (or, more probably, the executive that told them they had to change the app completely), If it aint broke… Dont fix it.

We used this app for everything, whether just role playing on the go or at the table to get private rolls while DMing. We understand for lame business reasons you would decide Our APP is for OUR game but even if we were only doing Star Wars role play we would need D4s to D20s for random number generation. Why remove functionality.

We really liked that we could use this app for other games. Now the standard, numerical dice are gone! Please bring them back.

It's good app. Nice physics too. We don't feel like we're getting cheated on our rolls. Also saves money and it's for iPad and iPhone.

We hope you can add Star Wars legion soon.

Great app overall. Hope you add Star Wars Legion soon. Since the core set hardly comes with enough dice to play conveniently the app would be very useful once the game is added.

The default settings have to be adjusted in order to optimize this app. The starting sensitivity is too low and having cancel symbols disabled makes the app harder to use. The cancel symbols setting has a confusing name, but does all the math of canceling out successes, failures, advantages, and disadvantages, making the app much easier to use and more useful.

Need to up date for Rebellion Rise of the Empire.

Love this app. So helpful when you only have one or two sets at the table. Any thought to Descent 2nd Dice App.

The red Armada dice sometimes behave strangely. Dice that clearly landed on double hits will adjust into blanks after the roll, and sometimes dice get stuck in a state showing two sides at the same time. Even if hey are just graphical bugs its very frustrating to see those double reds disappear.

We got this for Star Wars Armada. About 90% of the time when you roll a double hit on a red die, it will roll over to a blank. It lands squarely on the double but, for some reason as the dice straightens out it rolls to a blank. This REALLY needs to be fixed.

Should be free if you own one of the games, maybe a QR code or something.

It's col at first with all the bells and whistles, but besides all the polish you will find it lacking. Compared to other apps that you find for android and windows , it looks prettier but it's missing the final tabulation that those have. Would be nice to find the final tally with a glance at screen. Also a way to add and subtract dice. Maybe a few stored dice sets tab.

This app has everything we need in an intuitive and easy to use GUI. It's nice to also have general dice available as well.

As someone who plays basically all the fantasy flight games for Star Wars we Have to say this was our fav purchase we ever made. Dice for all the games as well as regular dice for when we play dungeons and dragons. Absolutely spectacular! One request (if the developer(s)) see this): If you could add "fate dice" or "fudge dice" to the regular dice pool then we will always use his app for everything.

It has dice for non-Star Wars games too, and works really well.

We prefer real dice but this app is worth it IMO because it's for multiple games and if you have a large game going on its easier to roll on the app than passing dice around.

As a SWRPG player, we constantly need to fiddle the dice pool to add/remove proficiency and difficulty dice, and its an incredible pain using this app. The selection tools are awkward, the command menus are unintuitively placed, and the results summary are misleading. You cant drag and drop dice to the tray as you obviously should be able to. And of course its not visible across the table the way real dice are. Its good-looking but really a terrible app. Plus its expensive. Just spring for the $5-$10 to get some more actual dice.

Great app, Works well, cool backgrounds and stuff like how it can tally hits and misses for different types of dice. The only thing is, we know the game just came out publicly but please add the imperial assault dice. We don't know if they plan on doing it eventually and we know it just came out but please we want it.

Good options, nice layout, interface and great on ipad. But we do think FFG should add a chance cube.

Works very well with some great options for fun fluff.

Nice app, needs to be updated for imperial assault.

Just needs a Chance Cube and we think it will be perfectly set for the RPG.

This app rocks! Thanks for quick response on previous bug.
