The controls and general game play are phenomenal. We wish get set made more games :( Original review: Please make a sequel!!! This game is great. We search the App Store for a newer game just like this…we dont find it, so we go back to this time after time.
We loved playing this game with our son. We have actually enjoyed it for years. We have beaten it on all difficulty levels and would recommended it highly.

This game is amazing wish you would come out with a second one. The only downfall is that the evolve doesn't go past 50 but other than that everything is great.
Now that the glitch is fixed we see NOTHING to complain about – great game! Extra Kudos to the Devs for letting us know there was an update so we could redownload this gem.

This is easily the best kept secret on the App Store. This game is easy to pick up and super fun to play. If your looking for the perfect side scroller dungeon game, look no further.
New update fixed the crashes. Now it's a great game to get invested in.
We evolved our character as much as we could by floor 4…. Now what?? Frustrating to keep earning XP that goes to waste. Other than that this is one of our all-time favorite phone games on iPhone and Android. The graphics, sounds, and levels are awesome. We love that it's timed – adds an extra level of challenge.
Edit* they did fix it. Took an incredibly long time. But all is working now. And is a great game Have a 256 GB iPhone 7 plus. Played the game for about 1 day, bought a couple things and then it never worked again. Crashes immediately and developers have never responded to a ticket written almost 2 months ago.
Giving it a four star now. Really enjoyed the game and prestiged once. Wish characters could go beyond level 50. But overall good game.
With the latest update all the crashing issues have been resolved.
Most crashing has been fixed! Now the only time it crashes is when watching an ad to revive your fallen character. Definitely playable now so raised from 1-4 stars. This game is everything we look for in a free to play game. Optional IAPs, a good sense of progression, tons of loot, all these thing are great but pointless when the game won't run more than one or two stages without crashing. When you first start off each stage takes less than a minute to complete so crashing every 1-2 stages means the game crashes frequently. Plus it doesn't auto save immediately after opening a chest so you constantly lose loot. We're not going to uninstall this game even though it's unplayable at its current state because it has a lot going for it. We'll just keep our eye out for an update that fixes this issue then update review.
And this release seems to have fixed the crashes.
We recently got back into this game and then when we tried to get an ultra card it didnt allow us to purchase very disappointing fix your purchases.
This is a good game would you please update for iPhone X or make a part two.
Pretty fun arcade shooter. Only problem is that the watch for free stuff ad keeps popping up every 10 seconds, even while in game. Made us lose a number of times.

Gameplay is very enjoyable… But the frikken advert window pops up on every screen change and even freezes everything during combat to kill you to get you to watch a video DURING COMBAT. Deleting game SOLELY BECAUSE OF DEFECTIVE ADVERT obsessive pop-up annoyance design. Subtracting star from review in regards to defective advertising choice. You do not pop up ads in combat, guarenteed game deletion WITH NO FUTURE AD REVENUE BECAUSE OF ANNOYING AD POPUPS. You want people to watch your ads and earn you money? TONE IT THE FRICK DOWN. Or people will delete your app in 5 minutes and zero future ad-watch bucks make themselves enter your pockets.
Not exactly playable. Very tedious cause it slowly becomes a grindfest to do one bit more damage or gain a little bit extra time. It was fun for a bit with the challenge of having to balance being fast cause of the portal and being cautious cause of the 1 heart you start with, but once you get to the upper levels it just becomes stressful and unbearable. Also theres a bug when we get to Skull Keep that basically resets us to the beginning of the floor no matter how many levels we beat. If we close the app, it resets us completely. Unplayable mess.
How is this a rogue like game? We go through lvl after lvl with very little upgrades of any kind which the having a large variety of grades to create builds is the whole point of a roguelike game.
Seriously, please fix, been a pretty long time.
This game used to work, and let us tel youits great! So much fun. Its unique, action packed, arcade-style fun! But one day, it reverted back to the introduction scene and crashes to home screen. Every single time. The developers returned a couple of emails and we tried some troubleshooting, but then gave up on us and we never got a response to our last two correspondences. We even sent a screen recording of the crash. Makes us sad, because this is one of the absolute best iOS games Ive ever played.
The crashing and the deletion of items takes Storm Casters from a delightful romp through absurdity to a long dragged-out exercise in futility. Of the 38 card types we had yesterday, 23 remain today, and many of the previously fully fused cards are now onsie-twosies. Of the couple dozen gemstones, one. Our player level is still 32, as it was after yesterdays marathon, and the second set of dungeons is accessible (but now utterly hopeless). Do we try to grind our way to level 40 and see if the game is worth playing again? Naw, four days of frustration is enough. *we opened the game again after we wrote this. 18 cards now. Delete.
Our only issue when we first started playing was the constant crashing. They fixed that but now that we're much further along the game has become a tedious chore. It's no longer fun to play, it's simply annoying. Progress has come to a halt and we find ourselves farming old levels simply to boost our attack by 1 point at a time. This is great game at first but it quickly becomes a completely frustrating bore. We really liked this game but it just gets slower and slower in regards to progress. It's simply not fun anymore. Level 49 and we're done. We keep repeating it only so it's understood, the game isn't fun, it's a chore.
Changing to one star. Feeling full ripped off. Really liked this game and finally got to the end after working it for literally 2 months. Reached the end and at the final shot the game crashed. We dont even get how it could pick that exact time. It crashes every time we get a good card draw that could beat the final boss. Complete rip off. Yes we paid for the fourth card. We have an iphone 7 plus so its nit the phone.
They finally fixed the in app purchase bug but we don't have access to our purchase now.
We search the store every week. 90% of free games are garbage. This game actually is fun and rewarding, and most importantly, can be a challenge.
Nice little high action dungeon crawl RPG game that uses arcade controls and features card game and roguelike elements all while being F2P. Worth a download and more fun than similar games that cost $3 – $5 on the App Store.
Addicting game but it crashes too much. We've lost way too much stuff due to crashing.
The game always crashes after defeating a boss.
This game is very entertaining and personally appeals to this sort of "hack-n-slash" genre that we love. We also like that it has a little card collection aspect to it and it makes the loot system more important rather than just brushing it off to the side. We know it is just the beginning of this launch and that more features could come up in the future but we would recommend adding a few class systems and eventually a PVP arena if possible. By adding classes you can create unique experiences and mechanics in each dungeon as you traverse into and make the game more in-depth. Adding classes could also expand and pave the way for a new array of cards that could be released in the future. Of course, being in early launch, there are bound to be a few issues regarding game play and bugs such as crashing, but the game itself is a great idea. We simply wanted to get a few words in to possibly give the developers a bit of feedback. Like we said, giving the players what they want and listening to feedback will help a long way in making this game successful. Title says it all. In the 20 minute we've played this game, we've had 2 crashes. We would give it more stars and even purchase some of the in app purchases if they could make it a more reliable experience.
It crashes quite a bit in between levels and after watching videos. Has tons of potential.
Wouldn't have uninstalled if there wasn't a crash every time we watched an ad or progressed a few floors.

You beat a level and when you are collecting your rewards it crashes making you repeat the same level again.

Would be much more enjoyable if it didn't expectedly quit every 2 minutes. Running on a fully updated iPhone 7+. Shouldn't be having issues.
This game is a great time killer, its a combination tcg/arpg and they did a good job of that mashup.

Update: right after we purchased a special offer the game crashed and we have been unable to get it to re open. Keeps crashing. —————————–Just the right amount of a diablo rogue-like mixed w a ccg. We like the leveling aspect and the randomness of the dungeons. Really fun game.
