Community Insight:
Been playing it for years everyday. Right now Im enjoying putting at very hard with hints and eliminating possibilities as if Ive invested a new game.
If we buy 100 hard, we want just that, not 50 hard and 50 very hard. The name for this is misrepresentation.
Best suduko app Ive seen- no ads, easy to read grids, has hints; easy to tap with one touch – love it.
Not like the same million duplicates of the same boring sudoku app on the app store that have pop up ads or ad banners. Lovely.
We really do love sudoku. There is one problem though. It is irritating to us that you dont have like ten – fifteen starter packs. Its a good game but you could improve.
We have been playing this soduku game every morning for several weeks now and love it. No ads, progressively challenging games, ability to change the help you get to solve it. Plus if we end up finishing all the free games, to buy more is not outrageous. This is the first game we ever thought we would spend money to keep playing. Thank you developers.
We enjoy two or three games of sudoku, alternating to killer soduku, before we turn out the light for the night. When we make a mistake, we play the game again until we can do it with no mistakes.
This is hands down the best sudoku app. And, the latest update added a dark mode – love it.
We have been playing this and other Conceptis apps for years and we love them, but please make dark mode an OPTION instead of automatically adjusting based on phone settings. We have our phone on dark mode but that doesn't mean we want to play our sudoku with white numbers on a black background. It really strains our eyes and we don't want to have to go into our phone settings to change to light mode every time we use the app. We're sure some people like the dark mode but if you give us a choice then everybody wins. Sorry if there is already an option to turn it off but we're not seeing it.
Very easy to use. The difficulty ratings give for each game is accurate. Its easy to check if any mistakes are made. There arent any interruptions for advertisements.
Favorite version of all the sudoku apps.
We absolutely love this version of sudoku. It makes it so much fun and allows for all of our efforts thinking about the various solution strategies instead of trying to keep track of all the candidates. It does that automatically.
Great appearance Great pencil matks autofill Lots of puzzles at varrying levels of difficulty.
Terrific selection. Great display /layout.
Just puzzles, no ads. The starter packs give you a great sample of the various types of sudokus, and then you can buy larger packs of your favorites. The prices are very reasonable, and we love that you can check your progress before you get too far off course. After the recent update its even better.
This is one of the best apps. We like the auto- fill feature. Separate keyboards for values and notes is very handy. We also like the undo feature to analyze any errors. It would be nice to have classic puzzles with difficulty more than very hard.
We especially like the irregular sudoku puzzles.
We try to play at least one game a day and we try all the varieties and love them all. Great way to stimulate your brain.
As a longtime paying user, the latest changes to the interface have changed the games for the worse. The interface no longer respects day/night settings. The resizing of the puzzles is distracting. None of the changes are to the games benefit.
We recommend this companys apps to anyone. The puzzles have a great UI, there are no adds, and there are free starting packs of puzzles and a free one each Friday.
App works great technically, wish you could purchase a mixed selection. We like to change it up daily but only do one or two puzzles a day. Don't want 100 medium's only.
Truly enjoy this. The best of all the ones we've tried. Highly recommend.
This is generally one of the first apps we turn to when we have a few minutes to kill, or when we need to chill out before falling asleep. Our only complaint is that on some of the Very Hard levels (at least in the Diagonal puzzles), you have to guess sometimes when there are no logical moves to make and you're stuck. You then either need to use the Assistant to verify your guess, or keep playing until you reach a logical inconsistency and have to go all the way back and guess something else. It kind of ruins the whole logical vibe of the game.
This is the best sudoku app Ive ever played on our android device for nearly 3 years, so glad we find it here. Could it be a free puzzle everyday, not every week.
A fun game with a few variations, each on various difficulty levels.
An explanation of the chain strategy would be helpful.
The logic puzzles from Conceptis are the best. They release a new free puzzle each week for all their apps. We have them all and they keep us entertained. Well designed. No adds. Very stable with zero crashes.
You have spoiled us from ever again doing Sudoku on paper.
Love this game version !! The best we've seen yet.
The irregular sudoku is our most entertaining brain teaser.
Works fine, and great entertainment. Even the very-difficult level puzzles are solvable without guessing. Our only quibble is a wish for an option to auto-scroll to the first unplayed puzzle.
We have another sudoku from this same company. We especially enjoy the weekly new ones. Ive done many of the other ones as difficult as we can. A great version.
Love the challenge and the ability to check for mistakes. Nice to have a free section to get started.
Great interface with the tools needed to solve puzzles.
Ive done a lot of games and this one is great! It offers various skill levels that increase your ability. We got our granddaughter hooked on it.
Excellent to buy what you want, diversity of puzzle variants, challenging as you want, can restart and rework, easy to deal with… No graphic junk to distract.
One of the better sudoku versions available. This is the way fremium should be done. Thank you developers.
It is a great and one of the best sudoku app but it needs a hint feature to help when one gets stuck.
We have several other puzzles by this developer, and we downloaded this app specifically to do the larger grids (16×16). There doesnt seem to be a way to solve a selected square using a hint, though. There is also no way to have errors show up in a different color as you work, without manually checking for errors repeatedly. The only choice for revealing a single selected square is to either auto-solve the entire puzzle (obviously not the desired behavior) or guess, check for errors, undo, repeat until its correct.
We love the overall design, the way one can highlight the number, the small easy way one can put in more than one number in a square. The only drawback is the lack of new games for free. We went through all the games quickly.
This is the best sudoku we have found for phone, pad, or PC. Love Conseptis games.
For adding the pencil marks. Takes the work and time out of doing it ourselves.
This is one of the best sudoku apps Ive ever used.
We love this app. We keep mentally fit with these puzzles.
The performance of this app is great. We have completed all of the puzzles and would buy more except they only offer one skill level and type with each packet. So we keep refreshing the free games.
Theres just something about the Conceptis version of Sudoku that makes it pleasurable to play, even after many years. No bells and whistles, just appropriately challenging puzzles that are always fun to play.
Great variety and skill levels.
Enjoy the variety and free puzzle each week! Our go to.
Good puzzles, no place to fill in possibilities so we used pen and paper for notes. Otherwise, great for deep thinkers.
This version has a very nice variety of puzzles. However, there should be a way to discard used puzzles and ones that are just a waste of time and space.
