Im updating our review. Still an awesome sudoku app, and we’ve played almost all the apps out there. Some of the new features keep us hooked. For example, the events is great. Sometimes our brain gets tired of always playing expert or nightmare levels so its nice to play some easy levels. Plus, it has a clear goal for us to work towards. And also, cross math is an interesting concept. Its great for our son to practice his math, and we never wouldve found out without playing this app. (Previous review) we’ve been playing Sudoku for a long time, and this is one of the best mobile apps for Sudoku. A few things, it has a very clean and easy to use interface. When we click a number, it highlights the corresponding row, column and square, so we can easily scan the board to find other potential numbers. Also, when we write notes and tap a number, all notes with that number are also a different color, so its easy to see which cells have that number, and we can start doing deductions more easily. Finally, it has a hint feature that explains how a cell came to a number, which is better than other apps we’ve seen that just directly tell you the answer. Overall, there are many advanced features for the seasoned Sudoku player, but also great for newer players. Would highly recommend this app.
Great game but we have not been able to play on that iPad since the screen went black during one of the miserable adds and will not return regardless of what we have tried. We can play on another device on which for some reason there are no adds but we would like to be able continue with the smaller iPad. It is not the device as everything else works well. What can we do to get the game back and get rid of the obnoxious adds as on our other devices.?
Its simple, simple/fun modes. Nun bad so far and we got no problem with it. Keep up da good butter cup.
Almost unbreakable ad interruptions.
The game is fun. Easy to play. Downside is you have to sit through ads between levels. Ads if you come back to your game after an unlock. Ads kill this game.
Really liked this game, except for the excessive ads, but was willing to barter our time for the filling in of the notes. Now after sitting through the soul-sucking ad for a minute or so, it doesnt fill in anymore. Not cool man. Plus, if you pause the game or task switch, you have to watch ANOTHER ad before your game resumes. Im not sure if theres a Best Practice advisory on that or if its just an unspoken rule, but you dont milk people with the pause, especially on a phone. You just dont.
We just deleted the app when they started interrupting gameplay with a jump to safari for an ad. When we go back to resume the game Im expected to sit thru even more ads which run longer than we would tolerate even on old-Sokol television. Screw that.
This was our go to game. It was fantastic but Ill be moving onto finding a sudoku game that doesnt have lengthy ads at every corner. Its been a recent change and a huge bummer. This game was our favorite.
Ads after ads after ads, each ads last multiple minutes and unskippable. Each ad require multiple clicks to end. Everything you do gets an ad. Greedy developer and Waste of time. 1 star trash.
We dont know when they added advertisements after pausing but it is unbelievably infuriating. We used to like to do the daily puzzles but when we have to deal with an ad, keep in mind these are 3 step ads, every time we want to pause to change music, play a round in a game, or have a conversation it makes the app borderline unusable.
Very good at passing the time without feeling like we wasted it. Helps us improve our problem solving skills in a fun, unproblematic way.
App has been updated and our original purchase has been recognized! Overall this is our favorite version of Sudoko!
We love the app, but we already paid to remove ads for a year and its gone now. Please fix this and ill give the app the 5 stars it deserves. Thanks Edit: They fixed this issue and our subscription was restored with this update. Thank you.
Im here for the math but we cant make it past level 40 cause of a math error besides this its a fun game and we like how it gives you little tips when you ask For a hint (please fix the math errors we are bored and do math for fun)

We click restore purchases, app says there is no purchase. We have the Apple receipt on file. So we need to repurchase the (one time) subscription every time the app is updated? Newest update resolves the purchase restored action. Back to enjoying the app. Thank you for fixing this bug.
They really need to make it work on the horizontal view not just vertical view. The adds are extremely annoying and its hard to get out of the adds and back to the game. There needs to be a PAUSE button that is easily accessible. Overall the game is Great.

We were enjoying this app. It had long ads (you cant skip) before and after each game which is fine but now there is a long ad (again no skipping) every time we switch away from the app or turn off our screen, even for a second. So we have to wait a full minute to rejoin our game every time we turn off our screen or read a text? Lame. Will be deleting and trying another.
Paid the $8, still has ads. Mis-click adv notes instead of notes and have to wait several minutes for it to finish the multiple ads.
Cant tolerate the ads any longer.
Have enjoyed this app for months now but recently it has changed. Now, we all know ads are a necessary evil of this world and we endured them in this app previously. But suddenly they have increased exponentially both in frequency AND length. It is no longer enjoyable to play because you cannot even pause in the game briefly without being subjected to yet another great long ad which holds us ransom until it sees fit to end. Totally horrible. We will need to look for another version of Sudoku because this is too tedious and no longer fun. Good luck, shame you got so greedy.
Cool game we definitely enjoy it. We dont like that when you make a mistake it immediately tells you. Often time we have a 50/50 number Abs it gives us the answer by telling us the other ones wrong. It gains most often when we think we pressed the note key.
We play this app everyday and dealt with the occasional ad. Since the new update this week, you cant even pause the game without an ad popping up. We clicked on remove ads to see what that would cost but it has subscription options but the links dont work and doesnt even tell you how much they are. Was a great app before update.
We bought the subscription earlier today and the purchase went through. It was successful and shows up under our purchases for apple. But when we continued with the app we still had ads despite paying for no ads. This is upsetting because we really like the app. We don’t want to have to pay again. We tried the restore purchase button but it doesn’t do anything when we click it. Even all our progress is gone despite logging in with the same apple id as we did previously. Is there anything we can do to fix this?

No landscape mode for iPad. Cant rotate screen when rotating iPad orientation.
Ads are way too long & numerous. We mean Jesus its turned us off to this game and many advertised games. The Nightmares almost all seem to require a brute force solution or at least one hint (more ads). This makes a big jump from fairly easy Expert to impossible Nightmare we cant find any technique to solve these & apparently neither can the devs or the hint would show them. BIGGER font size for notes.
We really enjoy this game. We paid to remove the ads several months ago and it made it so whenever we were in a bind, we could use unlimited hints and never have to see an ad. The problem is that our purchase history is now gone and it wants us to pay to remove ads again, which is wrong. When we click on restore purchases, it does nothing. So if it wont restore our purchases, Im not going to pay $7.99 again to do what we already paid it to do, and Ill remove the game. If it werent for this issue, Id give it 5 stars.
Doesnt make sense. Easy level lets you make tons of mistakes expert level only lets you make 1-2 mistakeswhile its already a difficult puzzle. So having to watch a million videos to get more time or allow yourself more mistakes is super annoying.
Great fun games and addicting. We would give 5 stars, but we’ve been ripped off. We paid $7.99 for ad free since the ads were constant and a annoying. It was great then a month later Im back to annoying ads and the game wants us to pay $7.99 again.
Purchased in August, was great until November when it started showing ads. Support was non existent, and app would not allow us to restore purchase. Too bad, we really like it.

It seems that the sole purpose, like many apps, is to show you ads. Its frustrating. User experience of this app is diminished because theres so many ads.
Youll spend more time watching ads than playing the game!

We absolutely love this game and it just we dont even know what to say. Its just such an amazing game it doesnt track too much of your data, and we love it.
Game is great but adds are too much and takes too long time to pass.
You receive ads anyway even if you buy the app. Idk how they can charge you 8$ and still have features behind an ad. Absurd.
