Great game, can’t wait for the next one!!

Like a movie’s backstory, this great adventure game has a main game with other games wrapped up inside of it and within them more hidden object and variations of hidden object games! Puzzles were fun and varied from the casual to more challenging. It is a fun relaxing yet suspenseful game. Left us wanting to play "the Game" again in a sequel!

Buy it immediately:) A very nice, sophisticated, beautiful story by Elephant games with extraordinary graphics, plot and completely new mini games. You get inside of the game to play it through and save your friends ( ever seen the movie Jumanji ? That kind of story) Don’t forget to collect the flowers, red, white and gold. They earn you the points (money) to decorate a lovely room. The golden flowers earn you the most.

Great in all aspects, we just wish that it lasted longer! Bravo!

This game has no In-App purchases!!! Which makes it a wonderful game. Graphics, storyline & music are nice. It is a great game.

It was a good game, but not our favorite of the Surface series. The storyline was so-so, graphics and mini games mediocre, but the hidden object scenes were the best part of the game therefore we gave it 4 stars.

The game was a total love at first play but it took a lot of patience and control of our temper to reach the end. The story, graphics, etc. Were all great; what drove us up the wall was the problem with the tapping. It was either a delayed reaction or off center sensing, we kept thinking that the touch screen needed cleaning or calibration but no matter what we did the problem wouldn’t change.

We loved the first Surface, with its steampunk vibe, but they have completely gone away from that. This was an enjoyable game, but we felt it was shorter than we would have liked. Varied hops, puzzles ranged from easy to medium. Great storyline but we dont think they fleshed it out enough, couldve been better. Still, for innovative story we give 4 stars.

It’s unfortunate that this series has diverted away from its original, trend-setting, and steampunk orientation as was prevalent in its predecessors. The plot is introduced as a narrative account of the bizarre and extraordinary circumstances regarding the disappearances of a group of friends. You participate in a sinister, calamitous, and "win-or-die" game-board experiment; as you continue your pilgrimage, you are driven to face your anxieties and overcome any obstacles that prevent you from succeeding. The graphics are deficient and mediocre in presentation and quality; they appeared faded and muddy. The colorations are saturated with darker shades that overshadow any traces of brighter ones. You can customize your settings; standard options offered. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The map enabled fluid teleportation; however, it would erroneously indicate available tasks at locations where there were no actions to perform. Some of the HOS are impressive and notable; they incorporate parts of the story as you effectuate actions, such as taking incoming telephone calls and e-mails. Some puzzles are imaginative and clever; we love the one where you dress the skeletons with armor. You collect items; they are highly visible. This game was not void of technical glitches. The calibration needs tweaking; touch sensitivity is flawed, which impedes harmonious continuity. In addition, it was tedious to move the parts of some puzzles to their proper places. Due to the issues above, we would have rated this game 3.5 stars; however, the story held our attention as did the satisfying assortment of HOS and puzzles. We also bought this on sale for $2.99! Therefore, we are rounding off our rating to 4 stars.

Warning: This game is very short, in relation to other offered games. The graphics and music are wonderful. There was one glitch which made us have to restart the game after unlocking, but the rest seemed smooth. The portrayal of the god creatures was also quite interesting. There were components that made the game much less than exceptional. Why are all these epic ancient games "card" games? Would Vikings (which, by the way did not wear horns on their helmets), knights, etc. Play… Whatever dueling card game is popular right now? Plus, how many people from ancient cultures know how to write and speak in modern English? We also didn’t care for the flower bonus being just to renovate the exact same room you see at the beginning of the story. It was boring, in our opinion. Still, it wasn’t a terrible game, by far; but it wasn’t the best, either.

We have been playing these games for yrs and we have played some awesome ones but this one was only okay for us.

WAY TOO MUCH character talking! Waste of time! There is a really problem with the tapping. It often took many taps before we could chose an item, pick it up or move it. We chose one sword at least five times before we could select it. We guessed that you needed to find a hilt for it and wasted time looking for one. It didn’t need a hilt, it just wouldn’t let us choose it. The armor was just as bad. VERY annoying! The game is logical. But, the puzzles are too simple. The instructions are not always clear. The instructions for making the key were terrible, for example. The map was good and allowed teleporting. It did show all areas that needed completion, but not which one you needed to go to. That, you had to decide for yourself. All in all, it’s an okay game, but not excellent. We looked up the walk through just to see how long it is. The entire game is only 5 chapters and the trial is almost the complete first two. WAY TOO short, even for the $2.99 intro price. You could finish it in under 2 hours. Boo, hiss!

We must tell you if you love puzzle after puzzle this is your game. On the plus side we did appreciate that entering another area was simplified. Game #3 of this series was far superior though. Just our opinion.

Read the most critical for the truth. Tapping problem ruins what was already a mediocre game. Remember when these games were so good you couldn’t wait to play them? Elephant games used to be great. Sad.

Some puzzles took many attempts to tap an item (I had to tap the same spot over and over until the game accepted that we were tapping the item). We had to ship one game because it wouldnt let us tap and move an item. (When we skipped, the game moved the item we had been trying to tap.)

Good game, but had to quit too many puzzles because of the tapping issues. Way too glitchy.

This game no longer works and should not be for sale. You can’t finish it and unfortunately it will never be updated.

Big Fish continues to be greedy. Less than 5 minutes into game, they demand a review. Too bad since Elephant games are typically excellent.

Cheese. And. Rice. This game might have been mildly more enjoyable if Big Fish wouldn’t ask us for a review throughout the entire friggen game!! The pop ups would invade our screen like a hippo fart RUINING a cut scene leaving us guessing and thinking "welp, that’s yet another bought scene that bf stole". AND WHY CAN we NOT ACCESS THE FRACKING GUIDE WITHIN THE GAME?? Storyline was about as engaging as watching a sloth try to poop for 3 hours. Multiple taps to engage items in order to sludge thru to the ending led to us questioning our own existence. There’s no pizazz in this – it’s like an interactive short film where your sole responsibility is to press play. The worst part about all of this is BF doesn’t care. They got paid – what does a recurring complaint from a once happy customer matter?

Wow this game is so weird but fantastic at the same time. Interesting story line, good graphics and we love that it’s interactive. We get to make chooses and the mini games, HOs are great. No complaints here.

We’re playing on an iPad air. The story line, graphics, and puzzles are great. You are forced to play a Jumanji like game in order to save your friends. So far no glitches either. You can’t beat the price either! Recommended.

Lots of fun and challenging. We’re just now learning the game.

Elephant Games has done it again! Are you a fan of the movie "Jumanji"? Then you will ADORE this game. You HAVE to play the board game, the dice throw themselves, magical creatures appear to threaten you, and you are trying to save your friends. Of course, you cannot stop playing until the game finishes! As with the previous five Surface games, you must collect two Flowers in each new scene (to use as spending money to decorate your apartment.) Your friend, Maggie, has been dragged away by a mean Woodsman with an axe. You must find her and save her from this ogre. Also you keep finding notes from others who have disappeared into the game (including a nobleman from 1614.) There are also Miniature Characters hidden in each scene that you must collect for prizes. All Elephant Games have wonderful Strategy Guides, and flawless Hint and Skip buttons. Also, there are detailed instructions in each Info button. Art work and storyline are perfect; and the puzzles are challenging, but solvable. Click the Buy button before this one gets away! We know what game we will be playing this evening!

Finally a game that is easy to follow and has a good storyline. It moves along at a perfect pace with items showing up in your inventory just before you need them so you don’t get so frustrated. It’s like you know what you’re supposed to do and then you use an item you have in your inventory which gives you the next item you need. We don’t care for games that make you wait so long to do something with an inventory item that you’ve forgotten all about what and where you’re supposed to do or go. This has probably the most logical sequence of game moves we’ve ever played. We also like games that have you looking for item in each new scene to collect. The games are pretty easy and refreshing. So far, this game is a solid 5 stars.

So far, very interesting and fun. Will let you know our final verdict.

First time we’ve played a surface game and we were hooked, played it several hours until we finished.

First a warning – when you see a dark screen and the word CONTINUE – TAP! The story won’t move forward without your input. This story is kind of like x files meets fringe – definitely not a fairy tale! Interactive dialogue and unique HO (more like a story than a list), transporting map, collecting flowers and figurines. Worth playing? YES!

Finally an original unique story line. Really enjoyed this game. Elephant games has done it again with great story, tons to do in each scene and everything we’ve come to expect and enjoy from their games. Our only wish is it was longer yet again. Finished in the first day. Eleph games used to put out very long games but they’ve gotten shorter through time. At least it’s $2.99 not $6.99 so hard to complain given the price. Way to go!

Really enjoyed this whole game!

Really enjoyed this game. Looking forward to the sequel. Thanks.

This game had some unusual, unexpected puzzles and hos. Most of the puzzles were fairly simple, but it was fun to solve them. It was so short, we might be a bit p.o.’d if we had paid seven dollars for it, but at the lower than usual sale price of $2.99, we can’t complain! As soon as we finished the whole game, we immediately replayed it, and the second time around, we sped through it, start to finish, between dinner and bedtime, even with puppy and grandboy distractions! Do not hesitate to purchase it while it is on sale, because it really is a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Very good game. Price was good as it is not that long but it’s not short either. Just a good game with all the items needed like labeled inventory, transporting map etc. Definitely a buy.

So far we are liking it, and the sale price is perfect.

We had to really tap and tap hard for items, whether they were in HOS or not. Of course, the graphics were stunning and the flow of the story wonderful. It was well worth the money, even if it did seem rather short for an Elephant Game. Keep them coming like this one BF!

We were very intrigued in the beginning, really different storyline. As the game progressed it took a turn and got really bizarre. However, we did enjoy the game. Would have liked not as many puzzles and more hidden object scenes. No complaints though, price was great and the game was entertaining. KdBoots.

Finally a game without fairies, dragons, creepy imps, stupid angel helpers, and other mythical creatures! We need more games like this one! Different, interesting HOPs, puzzles, games, spooky storyline, excellent transporting map. Rather short trial, but long enough to tell us we will definitely be buying this one! Get it while it’s hot! Update, 9/21. Took off a star. Game is almost too easy, and is quite short. First game we’ve ever played where we didn’t have to use Strategy Guide!

It started in a way that we wasn’t too sure we would enjoy but we played another fifteen minutes and decided we liked it quite a bit. We really liked the way the puzzles and scenes connected in a way that made much more sense than many similar games. The only problem we had was that it seemed too short! The HOP had some different variations that made them more interesting and caused us to have to approach them in slightly different manners as well. We bought it at a discount so in the end we were satisfied with the value.

Worth the money. Long game with bonus.

Good game. We love Jumanji, so we like this game.

We paid $2.99. Not worth more. We really wish the developers would include in the games a way to get all the collectibles from the bonus content menu. In this game you collect flowers in order to upgrade your apartment. Unfortunately we missed ONE $&@#% flower and it bugs us we can’t somehow look for the missed item now that we are done. This game was SUPER easy, but interesting. We finished the entire game and bonus chapter in about TWO HOURS.

We like the game , storyline are good graphics are good but there are some serious tap issue which is very irritating , takes a lot of tapping to pick to move objects through out the whole game. We were expecting more hidden object parts , and the ones are available are way to easy , we love the puzzles they are great we didn’t use the map because instructions are not enough ,, all in all its a nice game which we like.

Paying $2.99 we don’t feel cheated but at $6.99, this game, despite the clever HOPs, just wouldn’t be worth it. Some problems with tapping on iPad and puzzle info occasionally obscure. Puzzles did tend toward simplicity but again at this intro price OK.

Greetings, Gamers: Okay. We mean it: okay. The game was just okay for us, nowhere nearly as good as previous installments. We resisted the urge (and zillions of prompts) to write a review until finishing the entire game and we’re glad we waited. There was a glitch at the chasm in the bonus chapter. Kept getting kicked out of a scene until locking the inventory bar to use a require item in that scene. If we hadn’t persisted and tried that option the game would’ve netted zero stars…. Well, one, because it has to earn one star before you can write a review. We swear to you all, if there were two flowers in each and every scene, we sure didn’t see them. Sometimes flowers popped up in scenes after we returned to them. Bizarre. Like another reviewer, we didn’t get our pad fully tricked out; we’re miffed there’s not the opportunity to collect these at the game’s end. Sending healing vibes to Snooper. Hossy, don’t apologize because you loved a game that we abhorred. We still got your back, girl! September slips into October this week, wishing all a good Autumn. Until next time, May the autumnal stars light your way.

Way too short with repetitive puzzles.
