What Makes The Quest Classic – Asteroids Stand Out
The Quest Classic – Escape from Asteroids is an expansion to The Quest Classic, a beautifully hand-drawn, immersive and enchanting world full of exciting challenges.
After enabling the expansion, you can continue to play The Quest Classic with your existing character(s) to explore new areas and quests. However, if you don't have The Quest Classic, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.
Your ship has run off course, Hero. You find yourself sucked into a black hole that warps you far away. The world you know so well is gone. It's as though there were a huge explosion. All around you the asteroids appear on fire. You feel great pain and pass out . You wake up in a strange room with an unearthly creature looking down on you.
The Asteroid Mage will send you on daunting missions – if you prove yourself worthy. If you survive her tests, you can fight tough monsters – join the miners' guild – mine minerals – smelt weapons and armor – cook a potion – clip a dragon's toenails – mix cement – bag Red Mole Men for a bounty – trade vrauk horns – wield a laser sword – fall in love … But, beware, Hero, there are perils everywhere, especially in the mines!
To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Roids" as your travel destination. It is recommended to reach at least level 40 before trying to take on the challenges of this new expansion. Please note that after you have traveled to your destination, you'll have no way back for a while (except if you have Marked a spot), so it is also recommended that you keep a save in Mithria.
The Quest Classic – Escape from Asteroids has been developed by Zarista Games (www.catacomber.com) and was adapted to iPhone by Redshift.

We have been playing the quest since it first came out, but this expansion has to be one of our favorite. It's completely new and space themed. It has an awesome story and beautiful design/layout. Anyone would love this game if they are fans of The Quest already or if they are new players. Highly recommend buying.
Then buy all the expansions. You could replay a thousand time and it would be different great rpg.
This game is so great that our real life comes to a halt whenever a new expansion is released.
We own all 8 of the quest gamea and they are all the best games we own. Yhe only issue ive ever had is the stupid sicknesses. Please for the love of god add an option to turn them off and on.
This expansion has light sabers! Which sells us on that fact alone. However, the quests are fun and the graphics look really polished at times (some of the textures look sharper) Worth the addon.
Best rpg in the app store by far. If you like the elder scrolls series, this one is right up your alley. You must get the original and all the expansions for the full effect. Though great, we wouldn't start with this one.
We were originally unable to get into the expansion. Come to discover that the challenge was too difficult and if you abort too soon you can get locked out. Our bad. Originally we rated this a "1" caused we thought the expansion did not work correctly. After several email exchanges with the developers, they made the decision to change the challenge requirements so we lazy dungeoneers stand a better chance of exploring the expansion. Many thanks to catacomber … Though we have yet to play the expansion, we are going to give this one "5 stars" … We wanted to add … We are playing this entire series of quest games on an iPad … At first thought we were experiencing stability problems with the apps … Come to realize it has more to do with the memory on an iPad and nothing to do with the apps. Sometimes you just need to cold start the iPad … Or in today's terms. Power down and restart your iPad if apps start to crash.
Buy them all! These are endlessly entertaining. This expansion has a brand new envionment and lots of new challenges. You will love it.
Not sure if we like the scifi aspect, but this game hasn't let us down before.
This game totally rocks but to get the feel of it u should get all of em there r 7 all together totally worth the money the best rpg on the iphone get this u wont regret it.
The new SF storyline with with the Quest engine shows how versatile and delightful this platform continues to be. A bargain for the price, and especially rewarding for those who continue using characters developed from the past Quests.

The Quest, which has been an excellent fantasy RPG crosses over into Sci-Fi for the first time with laser swords and asteroids. This really brings back memories of Ultima we. All we need now is a blaster gun. Once again, guys, you've outdone yourselves. Also, the logo looks wicked in blue. The best color yet.
Buy! This is another beatiful quest xpack! Our new goal in life is to fill a full page of apps all being The Quest! Best game, no disagreement.
Another chapter for The Quest saga. We love this RPG – it's creative, totally immersive, addictive, beautifully drawn – the monsters are cool – and just a lot of fun. And if you did play the original for the Palm/PC; this one is an immense improvement ; ).
Yet another fantastic expansion for what is unarguably the greatest RPG ever made for the Iphone. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the Devs go and toss us another great expansion pack. Now this is what developer support should be like. How old is the original Quest game now? Yet we are still getting updates, fixes and expansion packs. EA, Gameloft, Squarenix, etc please take notes and emulate these guys. This is partly why The Quest will always have their customer's undying loyalty and support. 5 stars doesn't do this game justice. Thank you.

Its not that good and when we first bought this we couldnt even get through the first fighting part.
